Kitty rolled her eyes at the name, tightening the pony tail she had scraped her hair into. She was glad she dressed appropriately for the climate, else she would be sweating bullets. Kitty let out a groan at the mention of the undead, "Greeeat. You brought us to a planet infested with the undead. I did warn you what dead blood does to people like us right?" With a sigh she withdrew her sword, spinning her wrist around as she gripped the blade. With one glance to Dan, she straightened and ventured into the entrance with all her senses on high alert. Whatever jumped out at her was definitely getting stabbed.

"Well, not every undead has-" Before Dan could finished a skeleton burst out of the wall itself, swinging it's rusted sword straight for Kitty's center. Knowing she could handle such a puny opponent herself, Dan waited until she had finished before completing his sentence. "-blood." His face had a 'I told you so' expression, along with a smirk that disappeared once he moved into the tunnel with her.

They continued on for a few moments before a light was visible ahead and the tunnel itself opened to a large hall. Scattered about this hall were books, ancient rusted weapons that probably held no use now, and other objects of mysterious origin.
"Well if you're looking for some books take your pick," Dan gestured his hands around to the various collections scattered across the floor. "Although don't expect anything mindblowing in here. Have a quick look while I unlock the real tomb."

At that Dan continued to the end of the hall, leaving Kitty to look where she pleased. There might be more skeletons around, but he knew she could handle them. For now he examined markings on the far wall, working on deciphering them.

Kitty glared at Dan as he smirked, flicking her fingertips at him which let out a tiny candle flame in his direction, although they fizzled out a foot away from him. "Don't be a smart ass." Kitty fell quiet as they ventured further, but by no means did that mean that her world was quiet. "Aww, stop ignoring me Kit Kat." Corsetta still looked like a glitching tv program, her form occasionally glitching in and out of sight. 

When they reached the large hall Kitty looked around, ignoring Corsetta's taunts and general presence, instead choosing to move around the room and run her fingertips over the spines of some of the books. She picked a couple up, opening them and flipping through the pages and reading quietly. Occasionally a skeleton would pop out at her, but she didn't even bother looking up from her books before dashing it with her sword. "I don't like this. Maybe Diana has made me watch too many Indiana Jones films, but I feel like this isn't as guarded so far as a tomb like this should be. I mean skeletons? Really?" Her nose scrunched up and she continued to read through a few books, none of the titles really interested her but she didn't have much else to do.

Meanwhile Dan was on the far end of the hall, running his finger through the lines of inscriptions that spelled out old runes and languages. Once he had figured it out he stepped back more towards the center, finding a circular carving on the floor. He knelt down over it, drawing a small dagger from his belt and pressing his hand to the floor within the circle. A quick cut to his palm drew blood that spilled onto the carvings, pooling in a thick lump.

Channeling the magic he had learned so far, he made the blood move and fill up all the lines, flowing like small rivers through the inscriptions until they were all filled a crimson red.
"There we go." Dan commented, sheathing his dagger and raising his hand as a shifting mechanism sounded behind the wall. Slowly the wall parted and opened, reveal darkness and fog on the other side. 

By now his palm had healed, but as he looked back up he saw the silhouettes in the darkness. 
"Kitty..." He called out with a cautious voice, backing up from the various monsters and abominations that now crawled from the tomb. "We've got company."
Dozens of creatures, ranging from small to medium began limping and crawling towards them, claws, fangs and gods-know-what ready to tear them apart.

"Now there it is." Kitty grumbled, dropping the book she was holding and turning her attention back to Dan and the creatures. As she spun her sword around in her hand fire began to swirl around the blade, a slight smirk growing on Kitty's face. "Oo, fun. C'mon, let me out and I'll have this done in a minute." "Shut up." Kitty muttered under her breath before focusing on the creatures once more. She swiftly cut the head off of the first one that came for her, drawing her sword back so she could stab it through the chest of another.

"Well, time to put things into practice." Dan jumped back to avoid the slice of one creature, causing it to stumble down and give him time to prepare. Drawing his dagger once again he slit his palm, using his other hand to direct his blood in line into the air. This thin flow moved like a snake at his command, spinning around Dan as if to create a defensive area around him before lashing out infront. It weaved and whipped, catching the incoming creatures before they could dig their claws into him.

Thanks to his control of the blood whip, Dan managed to cleave aside the majority of creatures heading his way. It seemed for now he was safe, but a large rumbling shook the tomb and another silhouette appeared in the darkness. This time though it was much larger, the size of a giant to be precise.

"Watch out!" Dan whipped aside the last small creature then recalled his blood back into his palm. Once retracted he dodged aside, narrowly missing a crushing death by the hands of a large fist. The large monster came into the light, revealing itself as an abomination of undead experimentation. It's attacking fist raised back up, whilst it's other hand could be seen holding a giant rusted sword.

"Well, the bigger they are..." Dan remarked.

Kitty had finished with the creatures that had come after her by then, and had also caught sight of the giant undead abomination. "Harder they fall?" Kitty finished then swiftly dodged as the fist slammed back down again once more, the smell that reached her nose made her gag. "Ugh, that thing has been fermenting for awhile." Kitty stood off to the side, aiming a hand towards the rusted sword in its hand. 
Fire shot from her hand in a beam, connecting with the sword in the giant's hand. Her aim was to superheat the sword and force the giant to drop it.

"Argghhhhhh!" The monster cried out as his sword heated up, causing him to charge forward in a blind rage. Both of his now empty hands curled into fists to try and squash either of the two intruders, his screams still echoing through the hall. Dan himself jumped up high, evading the swiped to land upon the creature's massive arm. He then ran up the limb with some speed, conjuring a sword of blood on his way up. 

Once at the top he dug the blade into the creatures head, ripping a large wound open on it's side. He smiled at the blow dealt, but then realised there was dead blood flowing from the wound. Quickly he stumbled back, losing his balance as the creature writhed and causing Dan to hit the floor hard.

"Fuck..." He cursed under his breath, watching as the even more enraged creature now turned to look down at him.

Kitty didn't move quickly enough to avoid the swinging of the beasts arms, one caught her in the stomach and sent her straight into the wall. Letting out a groan of pain she shook her head, feeling a bit dizzy. She could feel something hot dripping down the back of her neck, but whatever wound the blow had caused her was already starting to heal. Kitty's stomach turned as the scent of deadblood was thrown into the air, her eyes flitting to Dan. Hastily Kitty shot her hand out, a wave of fire coming between the creature and Dan. "You've got two opponents you sack of shit." 

With a wave of her hand in the direction of the beast, the wall of fire Kitty had put between it and Dan flew forwards at the beast. "God you're so slow. Allow me."


The fingertips of Kitty's other hand turned white and her eyes flashed, the ground around the beast starting to crack as she flexed her hand. Lava oozed up from the cracks, then they rose up as small tentacles. The tentacles shot at the beast, aiming to wrap around it's wrists and ankles to yank it down.

Just as the creature was about to slam Dan into the core of the planet, the tentacles caught it's limbs and pulled it down harshly. With a defiant scream it struggled, pulling against it's restraints constantly. There was no way it could break them, but something else did allow it some freedom. One of the creature's arms dislodged from it's shoulder, spraying a wave of dead blood across the room and allowing the monstrosity to break free on it's left side. 

With it's freedom it could do little but struggle more, but each movement it made now propelled it's blood everywhere. Dan scrambled from the ground and rushed for the cover of a pillar, narrowly missing a splash of the liquid. Behind the column he regained his energy, trying to think of a plan that didn't involve him being covered in his weakness.

The blood rained down on Kitty before she could move, drenching her in deadblood. Some of it got into her mouth and instantly her vision began to swirl and she grew unsteady on her feet. Her hold on the lava all but vanished, the restraints on the monster going slack and sliding to the floor. She could still see the monster, except with her swirling vision she saw four of it instead of one. She didn't know which one to hit. 

Kitty raised her palm up, but her focus was sub par at the moment and all that came from her palm was a tiny fireball. Hallucinations and whispers flirted around the edge of her vision, Lana, Draetheus, Corsetta. "Shut...up.." She mumbled, deciding it would be better if she turned tail and ducked for cover. Kitty turned, trying to look for the nearest pillar to stumble behind.

Dan clutched his head as he recovered from the fall still, trying to clear his mind so that he could rejoin the fight. He could hear the fire and monstrous screams around the pillar, but didn't dare to move from cover because of the spraying blood. Only after a few moments of self pity did it click in his mind. Dead blood was blood. With wide eyes he turned to look behind, noticing Kitty now stumbling to cover. Dan placed his hand on the floor, fingers spread out fully as he reached out with his magic.

The vast amounts of blood that painted the floor and walls began to lift from it's surfaces, curling and flowing at his will into a singular weave. It shot around the hall rapidly yet well controlled, avoiding the two vampires who would be vulnerable to it. Once it had gain enough speed Dan thrust his palm towards the large creature, unleashing the stream straight through the creature's body with enough force to rip holes in it's flesh. Anymore blood that spilled simply added to the attack and served to increase it's damage while keeping the vampires safe from the liquid. 

The monster writhed and juddered as it was torn apart from within, vulnerable for Kitty to make a move in her usual fashion.

Kitty's vision was still spinning, and the wails of the monster made her ears ring. Still she forced herself to focus as she straightened, her jaw clenched. Although the amount of deadblood she ingested was small, it still partially inhibited her natural vampiric abilities but her magic was still fine. At least the dead blood shut Corsetta up for a moment. 

Kitty held her hands out and the lava that had previously fallen limp rushed to life again, coming together into two clumps that began to rise. They took on the shape of clawed hands, quickly descending upon the monster and beginning to tear it apart in a feverish and frenzied fashion. When the monster was finally nothing more than little smoking pieces Kitty dropped her hold on the lava, sitting down and putting her head in her hands. She stayed that way for a few moments before she brought her head up, a mixture of anger and illness on her face. She was also still covered in blood.

"Fucking hell, why am I the one that always gets covered in blood?"

Once the creature had been clawed into ashes, Dan gathered the flow of blood into a large sphere above them. There all the deadblood held together without losing a drop, keeping them safe from it's touch. Well, atleast from the blood not on Kitty. With his sphere held high Dan reached out a hand, controlling the blood that layered Kitty to pull it off her skin and clothes. Within a moment she was clean and clear of it, with only some stains remaining.

Sending the blood up to be held into his sphere, he then gestured down the hallway.
"Ladies first," He smiled. Now that there was no hulking creature to block the door, they could see the collection of books and relics within the far room. Some tomes were painted a dark red, while some even looked Angelic in origin. "Azmodan's private vault of knowledge. He gathered tomes and artifacts from all the worlds the crusade ransacked." Dan explained when they went in, trailing his fingers across the bookshelves.

"Time to find me a bloody book; literally."

Kitty got up, a tiny bit unsteady on her feet for a moment before she stood straight. "Thank you." She then followed him into the to chamber.  She gave him a nod when he spoke of finding a bloody tome, seemingly more interested in the angel tomes. She went over to one,  taking it off the shelf and beginning to flip through it at a fast pace. Although it didn't seem that she found anything worthwhile because she closed the book and put it back on the shelf.

Kitty did this with several books until it appeared that she found whay she was looking for.  Actually she found two books that could be exceedingly helpful yup her.  Then she looked around and called out to Dan.  "You find your book yet?"

"Shit..." Dan pulled his hand back quickly from one of the books he'd touched, examining a freshly made yet worryingly black scar that now lay on his palm. For a moment he simply stared at it, wondering what had just happened. His confused thoughts were interrupted by Kitty's shout.
"You find your book yet?"
"Yeah..." He called back, reaching out with his other hand at a red tome, securing it on his belt. With a clenched fist he then came out from the bookshelves, making sure the scar wasn't visible.

"Anything else you need?" He asked, glancing around at the rather messy vault.

"Nope. I've got the books I need." She had two faintly glowing white tomes in her arms. The title of one was semi visible, something about Angelic weapons. Her eyes focused on his clenched hand for a moment, then looked at him and opened her mouth to address it but then closed her mouth. If he had sustained a wound it would probably heal, at least she thought it would. "We should probably get going before something else crawls out of the shadows." Kitty flinched then, the affects of the deadblood had worn off and Corsetta was beginning to glitch back into her vision. "Aww you scared Kit Kat? You shouldn't be, we're scarier than anything in the hole."


Kitty's jaw clenched at her eyes focused on a spot just beyond Dan's shoulder, "Shut up." She hissed out. Rubbing her forehead she turned, moving towards the exit before glancing behind her at Dan as if waiting for him to follow.

"Angelic weapons?" Dan commented as they approached the shuttle, climbing aboard to secure themselves for flight. "You looking to make an angel blade?" He examined the books she held from across the shuttle, clenching his fist slightly as he tried to forget about the scar. Instead his spare hand reached up and flicked towards the front of the ship, at which point the shuttle's systems responded: "Setting course for Purgatory."

"There's an Angel Forge there, you'll need one for whatever you're making." He then sat down comfortably as they took off, leaning back in his seat. "Plus I have first hand experience with the place."

"Why do you want an Angel weapon though?"

Kitty sat down as well, leaning back in her own seat with a weary look on her face. "To put down a jack was with a top hat." Kitty placed the books down beside her on a chair, closing her eyes and letting out a long breath. "If he can't open the book with what he got from me, then he might go looking for people who can open it." Kitty held her hand up, "There are 5 people in existence that can open that book. Me." One finger went up. "Diana." Another finger. "Temperance." Another. "Jebediah." Another. "And Jaya." The last finger on her right hand went up before she dropped it. 

"I'm not going to wait for Makou to make a move on one of them if he can't open the book. And sure Jaya has Blightslayer to protect her but I'd like to keep her as far away from this as possible. So I figured why not make an angel blade." Kitty opened her eyes, there was a red streak in one that disappeared quickly as she grabbed one of the books. Kitty flipped it open to a certain page, one about enchanting swords. "There's a specific enchantment that can make a sword that can imprison those it kills. But only imprison. The power the souls hold would be inaccessible. Makes it so whatever soul the blade is holding won't be able to taint it's aura. But the enchantment is notoriously difficult because if you have a certain soul in mind you have to make it exceptionally powerful so it can contain it." Kitty passed the book to Dan then leaned back again. "I plan on going the whole nine yards with the sword, bless everything about it until I can barely hold it in my hand without it killing me. I also have a plan for that, the other book has spells on protecting against such blades. I can make a pair of gloves." 

Kitty looked to Dan's closed hand again, "You okay?"

"Oh yeah, Makou." Dan nodded, glancing off to the side. To be honest he'd almost forgotten about him, what with being too focused on recovering his magic and hunting down Lana. "It's a solid plan, and to be honest I could do with a weapon too, but I'd rather not be carrying an Angel blade around. You've got some balls to be risking that." His head tilted aside for a moment as he shrugged. "Plus if you want blessings you might need an expert, or atleast someone you know..." Dan gestured at the two of them. "Not undead."

With a flick of his hand he did something with the shuttle, to which it beeped positively in response. "Luckily I know just the person to help us. I'm sure they'll meet us there."

Before long they entered warp speed, taking them to Purgatory within minutes. By then they arrived in the atmosphere, cruising down to land softly by a set of ruins. Once the shuttle doors opened they could see a derelict stone building, within which sat a rather large white forge. Strangely enough it looked as if the Forge had survived perfectly whereas nothing else around had done.

"And any minute now..." Dan said.

"This better be-" Jaya started as she stepped out from the glowing portal which closed behind her almost instantly. Her words stopped as she saw her mother behind Dan, causing her to relax her tone and posture slightly. She was wearing a leather outfit with threads designs lining it's edges and seams, denoting one of royalty on Phoenixspire. A sort of half combat-ready, half royal-outing outfit. At her side, as always, was sheathed Blightslayer.

"He didn't mention it was you who needed my help," Jaya shot a glance at Dan, before giving a softer look to Kitty. She stepped back to allow the others to approach the forge, then moved over to the pool itself. Whereas normal forges ran with lava, this one had a yellow glowing liquid that would make the vampires uncomfortable. 
"Come on, let's get this over with." She still seemed on edge, obviously mistrusting the presence of her father.

Kitty fought the urge to stick her tongue out at Dan and taught him on the fact that she was obviously Jaya's favorite as of the moment. Kitty squirmed, the liquid did indeed make her uncomfortable but she didn't complain about it. "Not the entire plan." She mumbled under her breath, the sword wasn't the only ace she had up her sleeve, one she wasn't willing to share with either of them. "Yes, let's get going." Kitty followed after her daughter, putting a hand on her shoulder but saying nothing to her about forgiving her father. Then Kitty glanced back at Dan sharply, "Vi er ikke at fortælle hende." She spoke in his direction quietly, she did not want Jaya anywhere near this. "How are you doing Jaya? Is your kingdom well?"

"Bøde." Was all Dan replied as he leaned back against the ruins, thinking it best just to keep watch whilst the other two worked their magic. Literally.
"I'm alright, and so is Phoenixspire. We're rehousing the Angels leftover on Des-... Heaven..." Jaya still hadn't adjusted to the new name for Heaven, however much the wasted planet deserved it now. "It's hard work but atleast there's peace." Her eyes narrowed as she reached over the forge with her right hand, feeling the holy energy of the liquid pulsate through her. 

"I managed to learn some Angel magic and forging from the survivors, so this should be good practice." She took a deep breath before her hand began to glow golden, drawing upon the liquid and energy of the forge. "So; shortsword or longsword?"

"Long sword." Kitty stated, taking out the books and passing them to Jaya. "I can help." "Can you? The last time you tries a holy spell you nearly burned your forearm off." Kitty glared at Corsetta, who was now currently throwing phantom fireballs at Dan and spitting black liquid in Jaya's direction. Kitty rubbed her forehead, the image of Corsetta glitches again. "I need it to be as holy as possible, you up for that?" Kitty questioned, if her daughter was even the slightest bit hesitant Kitty would do it all her self. She was not going to put any strain on Jaya if she didn't have to.
