There had been much progress with the gang. Atir had been sitting on a box within her hidden base. She stared at the Nypherian tank. She couldnt understand how they were able to sneak in the tank. It was huge, 22 meters long and 7 meters tall. This thing is a beast and it baffled her. However, this changed her game plan. She had been funded directly by Grand Admiral Malik. She shook her head and knew her father would be upset that the Nypherians were funding a known terrorist. At the same time, she had no idea what "It's time" meant. It really could mean everything. One of the gang members walked over and handed Atir the details of the current standings with the gang. She nodded in thanks and went over the paperwork. Her gang had grown a lot. Her numbers now reached in the thousands and her weapons had grown. She known had enough firepower to reach the ONI server sub station. She wanted those files and she wanted to publish everything. Though, enough to tarnish ONI in the public eye.

She soon stood up and walked to the war room. As she walked into the room, everyone stood up. All the gangs officers / organizers were there. She stood in front of them as she placed her hands on her hips. " This is it. This is were we strike at ONI.This is where all of our hard work comes to pass. We strike ONI hard and we break into their Server hub. With that, we break up into 3 groups. The first group will consist of me and tech specialists, the second will be our mortar HE / AP crew, and the last will be our assault /defensive crew. We will be using the Nypherian M446A3 Ravager tank. This tank will be your life source. When this tank makes its appearance, it will unleash havoc. The enemy has never seen Nypherian technology before and this will be their first experience with it. We attack them with heavy tank support, mortar support, and infantry tactics. I will not lie to you, a lot of you might die. This is the biggest project that we have ever done. The UNSC is now aware of us and will do anything to stop us. Till the last man, till the last minute, till the last bullet....we fight."  she said as she stood tall with the large amount of cheers from her men. She hadn't thought that they would be so excited to fight ONI and the UNSC. Though, what Gordon Malik had said she would fine. She walked through her men that are now preparing for conflict. She walked over to Elias. " Listen carefully. There is a chance that you could be captured,same as me. They cannot know we're being funded by the Nypherians. Even I don't understand why theyre helping us. They cannot know the name Grand Admiral Gordon Malik. Say it with me, they cannot know his name. If you ever meet him, you must address him as Sir or Grand Admiral."

This was it. The culmination of all their efforts so far ready to fire like one massive cannon. Elias was as ready as he ever would be for this fight against ONI. He nervously patted a pack of flower seeds he'd picked up from a nearby shop. Cematis Archway they were called, they were usually used for decorating those fancy archways you see in rich people's gardens, but Elias had a better plan for them. His fingers brushed over his spell book and revolver. The gun was sickly and cold to the touch, and something about it almost felt like it was sucking him in. The wizard quickly removed his hand from the bag as Blue wrapped up her speech.

Elias had to admit that Blue's speech was incredibly invigorating. It definitely did set his spirits high for this dangerous mission against ONI, even if Blue clearly had no idea how to sneak the tank all the way to the ONI servers. But he did.

"Hey Blue," Elias said, "I've got a way to hide your tank... Kind of." He quickly walked over to a corner of the building where a large tarp splattered with the neon paints they use for highway signs in psychedelic patterns. "This will make the tank pretty much impossible to look directly at," Elias explained, pointing at the tarp, "I can maintain a spell that makes the tank look like it's super bright in the eyes of the ONI soldiers and cameras. They'll still know it's there, they just won't be able to hit it." He looked back with a smile. "I won't be able to hide it once the shooting starts, though." He began dragging the tarp towards the tank. "Oh yeah. One more thing." Elias paused for a moment, "I've got your back, so don't get too afraid."

The server hub itself was located on top of a large rocky hill. A twenty-story tall cylindrical tower surrounded by a thick titanium protective wall which contained troop barracks and living quarters and such. Vehicle depots and air pads were situated just outside the wall. 

The circular wall itself was further surrounded by a huge rectangular border almost fifteen meters in height and four meters thick. On each side of the border were multiple small doors and one large gate in the centre to allow infantry and vehicles to pass through respectively.

Atop the walls were mounted heavy machinegun turrets. Each outer corner of the border was protected by a stationary railgun with a heavy machine gun as its secondary offensive capability. 

However despite these features, the base seemed to be relatively inactive.. as if abandoned.

Atir smiled at the words of Elias. "Good, we need all the help we can get." she said as she walked right by him and stared hard at the tank. She nodded her head as she is now ready to make her move. She was either going to die trying or in the end, break the back of ONI. She rallied her men and they were off towards their target destination. Hours of moving her troops and she stared at the target from the buildings done below. She looked over the facility and she noticed it look abandoned. She knew better. " Ok, it looks like they want to bait us in. Change of plans, make sure the runners are constantly supplying us with ammunition. We need to make sure our Mortars never run out of ammo. The tank is hidden at the moment and we will only use it when we are pushing.We hide our trump card until the last moment. Send out the orders, bunker down and we are going to make them come to us." the men nodded and moved out. The Mortars were now being set up in hidden places all around the buildings. The men set up positions with their weapons in certain places. They all waited for the enemy to come to them. Atir held up a walkie talkie to her mouth and turned it on. "Ok boys, rack'em up rack'em up!" the mortars began to shell the facility. The shells began to scream before impact. The mortars exploded all over the facility and striking or missing security points of the base.


Atir watched from below as she held a sniper rifle in her hands. She began aiming at the wall, waiting for anyone to peak out. She wanted them to come to her and she would keep shelling them until they came for her. It was either, fight her on the ground below or allow them to keep shelling and level the area around the base. She wondered which method of attack they would chose...she expected air vehicles. She is prepared.

Elias spent the many hours of movement walking slowly behind the tarp, carefully weaving his scrambling spell so that everyone other than the nearby gang members wouldn't be able to focus their eyes on it. Atir hid the tank as the Gang made it to the attack point, giving Elias time to relax and regain some of the energy he had lost walking and concentrating on the spell.

Atir started by having the mortar teams set up and firing as soon as possible. The faint screams and booms of mortars streaking through the sky made him feel uneasy. It was necessary, though. ONI was probably trying to bait the gang forward and spring a trap on them. Maybe drop an ODST squad or two if they felt like it. Either way, Elias would need energy for the battle ahead. He spent the time waiting for the next big event filling an easily accessible plastic bag with the seeds he had bought earlier.

The mortar shots began to land against the outer wall and some even made it inside past the border. The explosions caused small dents and burnt marks against the wall and the grounds between the outer border and inner wall surrounding the spire.

Suddenly, the air was filled by the faint sound of turbines and engines and soon, a squadron of Sparrowhawks appeared over the horizon, seeming to originate from behind the large outer border. The Sparrowhawk gunships easily evaded the explosive mortar attacks raining down onto the structure due to their high manoeuvrability thanks to their turbines. The gunships moved fast, quickly flying over the maximum altitude reached by the mortar shots and with incredible speed, managed to fly over the gang, flying right past them.

Once they had reached a far enough distance, the Sparrowhawks turned around and began to approach the group behind a bit more slowly. The Sparrowhawks opened fire with their twin-linked GAU-23/AW/Linkless Feed Autocannons. The guns released a hail of 20mm AP rounds that were in particular aimed at the mortar placements. At the same time, the Sparrowhawks moved back and forth, left right and up and down to evade enemy fire, doing so very swiftly and with speed thanks to their structural design.

Atir heard a new kind of noise. She watched and the ships came into view. She watched them as they flew by her gang. She narrowed her eyes as they flew to a distance and turned back around. She snarled to herself as they began to open fire. She smirked as she turned her walkie talkie on,"Ready the AA's. Keep them busy and I'll begin the assault.". She clicked off the channel and tossed it our the window. She moved down the stairs and out in the courtyard. The mortar crews took hits and some got off the streets. Other gang members picked up homing RPG's. Missiles flew from the buildings and towards the ships. In another section of the town, more Mortars began to fire. This time with gas canisters and HE shells.

Atir had begun firing electric smoke canisters along the path towards the facility. A large group of men were with her and a hidden surprise. With the men distracting the ships, she began her move towards the base. She wanted the Data and wouldnt stop. She kept firing more and more canisters along the path. The closer she got to the gate. The more canisters she fired.

Amidst the distant squeals and booms of mortar fire, there was a light thumping noise. The thumps steadily became loud and more consistent until he noticed several ONI gunships swooping down on the Mortar emplacements. They moved quickly to avoid fire by conventional bullets. Elias quickly came up with a plan to take one down.

The wizard grabbed a small handful of seeds from his bag and tossed them in the air while conjuring a gust of wind. The tiny seeds flew through the sky and into the erratic flight pattern of the gunships. Elias suspended the seeds in the air and waited for the right time to strike.

Elias didn't have to wait long before one of the gunships flew into his miniature cloud of seeds. The moment it did, Elias forced the seeds to grow. He fed them the force of life, giving them enough energy to almost instantly grow to massive proportions. Leafy vines dotted with pink and purple flowers erupted around one of the gunships. Tangling it's guns and fans while blinding the pilot. The ship quickly went out of control and crashed into a nearby building in a fiery explosion.

"Yes!" Elias shouted, pumping his free hand in the air. His plan had worked, and now it was time to take out the rest.

As the men on the buildings locked onto the Sparrowhawks, the pilots were quickly warned of this by their ships' computer systems.
"WARNING: MISSILE LOCK"
Their motion trackers alerted them to the points of origin all six of the Sparrowhawks turned their attentions towards the buildings, where the missiles had already been launched. However, thanks to the sheer distance between the Sparrowhawks and the buildings, the pilots were successfully able to shoot the missiles out of the sky before they managed to hit, their ships' onboard targeting systems providing the accuracy needed.

After quick negotiation between the six pilots, four of them turned their attentions back to the mortars, continuing to rain down fire onto them. The other two kept their focuses on the men on the buildings, ripping them to pieces with their automatic fire.

As the gas canisters and HE shells landed all over the base, the outer border was finally showing some signs of damage including larger dents and holes and scorch marks. However the front gates remained closed. Suddenly, multiple black Warthog jeeps appeared from around the sides, having been released from the side gates. The gates themselves subsequently shut to prevent anyone from getting in. The warthog drivers steered clear of the gasses before driving around the group. The men on the turrets opened fire, the chainguns firing high-explosive rounds that would rip any infantry to pieces in one hit. The warthogs were also boasting an additional layer of armour.

The jeeps weaved in and out of the advancing group, running gang members down beneath them and crushing them under their heavy tyres. Meanwhile the passenger gunners on the Warthogs used their Assault Rifles to finish off any wounded stragglers.

Atir watched from the smoke of the warthogs moving around and taking potshots at people. She snarled a bit and hr hands began to glow. She began to tap into her Void Magic abilities. She out stretched her arms and extended her hands. Void markings appeared along her left arm and across her face. Red energy flowed from her body and entered the ground. She began to absorb the mana of the planet, taking what she needed, and only using what she required. In a large burst of energy, beasts erupted from the ground. Alien like beasts that ran on all fours went charging towards the warthogs. She felt a bit tired from using Void Magic, being a plains walker had its ups and downs.

She turned her attention towards the front gate. Her men within the electrical cloud to protect them for devices that see heat or night vision. They began to fire rockets towards the front gate. The rounds began to pummel the front gate. With each explosion that struck the gate, it shook, and dents began to form on the gate. " Keep firing!" she yelled as they walked closer and closer towards the gate. The soldiers at the gate began to feel a slow rumble. The sounds of a tank is evident enough but with the smoke, it's impossible to tell what kind of tank.

The men at the bottom began to keep up the mortar rounds and gun / missile fire towards the buzzards. More and more men began to run out from the sewers and some tried to position themselves closer to the buzzards. They also began to fire rockets at them and fire off rounds towards them.

Elias felt the same obsidian and metallic magic from the airport from so many weeks ago. But it was stronger this time. Blue was using magic.

The wizard rushed around the corner just as the roars of some kind of alien boars appeared and tore apart the warthogs. Crushing them under their large firey hooves and tusks. Something that confused Elias greatly. There wasn't a single kind of magic Elias knew of that either A) tore a hole in the walls between universes. Or B) Could teleport beings from one planet to another without a link. It was clear that the beasts weren't linked to anything. He made a mental note to ask Blue about it after the battle. He quickly located Blue and ran towards her, tossing a handful of seeds into the air as he ran.

Blue was directing her men to continue bombarding the ONI fortress, especially the gate as they advanced forwards. By now, most of the automatic machine gun emplacements, gunships, and all the warthogs had been destroyed. Elias impatiently guided his seeds in the paths of the few remaining gunships and tangled them in sudden, but lethal flowery vines.

"That should give us a moment of quiet," Elias said to Blue as he caught up with her, "But what kind of magic was that? I've never read of anything like it."

[size=30]A few Warthogs were tipped over as the creatures smashed themselves into them and began tearing into the vehicles. This sitrec footage was sent back to the spire however, and within seconds the vehicle depot began to assemble their countermeasures.[/size]
[size=30]The few Warthogs that were left managed to steer clear of the large animals for the most part, instead now concentrating on the cavalry that had now emerged from the sewers, running and gunning them down with ease and superior firepower.[/size]

[size=30]Meanwhile the gate recieved more and more punishment, but its titanium alloy composure as well as its 5-meter thickness allowed it to hold its own against the bombardment. The remaining five Sparrowhawks rejoined and unlesshed hell on the mortar placements, using their built-in powerful laser cannons, they began to blow the mortar placements to pieces one by one.[/size]

[size=30]The seeds that Elias had thrown for a second time caught another Sparrowhawk off-guard and it too went down. However this was again gone unnoticed by the other pilots who were spread out and concentrating on evading small arms fire and destroying the mortars.[/size]

[size=30]The side gates opened again now, and this time a group of immense, nine-meter tall HRUNTING MK II exoskeletons piloted by marine pilots rushed out and an alarming rate and quickly came round towards the front. The exoskeletons engaged the wild animals head-on, grabbing, wrestling, stomping and ripping a few to pieces with their hydraulic powered machinery. One of the exoskeletons almost got overwhelmed by five of these wild animals but one of his partners came to his aid, using his heavy machinegun mounted on the exoskeleton's arm to shred through enough of them for his partner to regain the advantage.[/size]

[size=30]From behind the wall, more turbines were heard and now, six more Sparrowhawks emerged. They rapidly gained altitude over the wall but remained behind it slightly. By now, due to the radar-jamming and blanketing nature of the electrical cloud, the group had deduced that it was being used for cover. As such, the six gunships unleashed a barrage of armour piercing rounds onto the group, arbitrarily picking off and shredding through anyone that was unlucky enough to be in the way.[/size]

Her focus is upon the gate that lay before her. She had already shown that she could use a powerful form of magic. She knelt down on the of the tank and Elias came up to her. She only tilted her head in his direction when he asked her about the magic. "It's called plainswalking. A form of Void Magic, a gift I got from my father. I can summon any kind of destructive magic and creatures that I have seen. I have been through three universes and learned a lot about their wildlife. Though...there is one kind I wish I had never seen..." she was cut off by the sound of more flying annoyances. She began to grow tired of this and her arms began to glow again. The Void markings appeared on her arms one more time. The tendrils of magic erupted from her arms and dug into the ground. She began to absorb mana and brought up a large purple shield that surrounded the ground pushing towards the gate. The shield began to absorb the attacks tossed at it.

Atir twisted her wrists and the shield broke apart and began to send shards of magic that were aimed at any and all flying "annoyances". They flew towards them at am alarming rate. She looked behind her towards the group that were focusing on the Mortar teams. She pointed her other hand at their direction. The rest of the shards shot out towards the rest of the ships firing at the mortar teams. "Fire at the gate..." she said towards the tank. The sound of energy building up echoed for only a few seconds, a large high velocity plasma round fire and ripped into the front gate. A second round was fire and a third followed. The gate had been ripped open in a few shots from the tank. With the gate down, gang members poured in the courtyard and opened fired on any soldiers they had seen.

Elias cursed silently as he took out the handful of gunships still attacking the Mortar teams. Even though they were pretty much entirely dead, it was worth tangling them in thick, flowery vines to make sure they wouldn't start shooting at the other gangsters. The wizard considered adding their souls to his revolver.

Despite that, the battle continued. Blue had paused for a moment to explain that her magic was something called Planeswalking, something that allows her to summon weapons, monsters, and magic from any universe she had seen before. Certainly an incredible power.

"And here I thought I was the resident spellslinger." Elias muttered to himself as he watched the gang fire rocket after rocket at ONI's unbudging door. It was only moments before another wave of defenders exited the gates. Two giant mechs and six more gunships left the fortress. Blue quickly cast a shield to defend agains the gunships and quickly destroyed them. Elias, meanwhile, took the oppurtunity to show off his own magical prowess.

These mechs were clearly heavily computer driven to keep it balanced on both legs. He decided to take advantage of that. He silently chanted and called for mana, the raw natural energy of the universe, to collect around him. An invisible, swirling pressure of energy surrounded the wizard as the runes of his staff glowed an electric prupleish white as the Mechs dealt with Blue's beasts.

With a weak battle cry, Elias thrust his staff forward like a lance and a massive bolt of pure lightning arced from its tip. Striking the first mech and melting through it's 'head' and straight through to computers. Frying the entire system. The raw electric fury wasn't done yet, though. It arced from the first and burned a somewhat smaller hole through the second mech, but still dealing similar damage. Both of the mechs were rendered immobile and unusable.

The whole ordeal left Elias winded. He had never considered calling upon so much magic for a single attack. He leaned slightly on his staff as he watched their Nypherian Tank blast straight through the ONI gate as if it were nothing, allowing the hundreds of gangsters to pour through and begin wreaking havoc within.

The small group of gangsters that had managed to get through the only entrance were quickly met by heavy gunfire. One by one, each of them fell from concentrated fire from the soldiers within. These ONI security troops were not pushovers however - specially trained and well versed in special tactics and weaponry. Between the outer border and the inner wall surrounding the spire, there were a number of fortifications that rose in height and durability until they reached the wall that surrounded the spire. These included barriers and barricades which had only small spaces from which hundreds of ONI troops fired their weapons, utilising long-range weapons such as the Designated Marksman Rifle and Sniper Rifle to easily pick off each gangster that exited the large hole created by the Nypherian tank.

Meanwhile, the fact that the gang had penetrated the wall at all became a subject of intense scrutiny by the ONI workers in the spire. In response, another gunship was sent out from an airpad, this one smaller in size. The Wasp was equipped with active camoflauge which enabled it to mask its appearance from the gang and flew over the wall and border to see what caused the damage: the Nypherian tank. The Wasp relayed this information back to the spire and instantly, the vehicle depots began to assemble countermeasures. 



The Wasp pilot meanwhile kept his eye on the field and watched the battle rage on, before noticing something peculiar: bolts of lightning had shot out from the clearing electrical mist and had disabled both of their Cyclops MECHs. The Wasp Pilot aimed his weaponry: two high explosive dual purpose machine guns, at where the source of the lightning strikes seemed to originate from and without wasting anymore time, opened fire.

The humans were occupied with feudal conflict, as was natural of their species, The Freelancer mused as his ship had easily slipped past Reach's planetary defences through an in-atmosphere slipspace jump. The intel that he had collected from Vermire allowed his search to be a lot easier and here he was: at the site of a small conflict taking place between what looked like human officials and what looked like a group of insurrectionists.

Using his ship's onboard sensor array, he scanned the field for his main target: Atir. There was some sort of disturbance however, which seemed to be originating from an electrical mist covering the field outside the large border that was surrounding a spire. He had the right location, the presence of the massive Nypherian tank told him that much which could be seen from where he was - a few hundred meters above the ground with his ship's active camoflauge activated. Perhaps this Atir was using the mist to hide herself. 

Three shots from the tank and a section of the wall was successfully penetrated. The Freelancer watched as men poured through the hole and at that point, he deduced that they were trying to reach the spire. He turned his attention to the spire and ran a quick scan of it. The building belonged to the human intelligence organisation known as ONI... now it all made sense.

Atir ran up to the destroyed gate and motioned more men to push through. The issue she noticed as that the soldiers began to pick off her gang members. Void markings began to form on her arm. She swung her arm forward throwing magical blasts at every soldier she counted. More gang members pushed in the courtyard. The Nypherian tank slowly rolled into the courtyard. The tank turned and began to slowly turned towards the ONI railgun. It fired a few shots at it until it exploded, removing the true threat to the tank. Atir grabbed a rifle off the ground and fired many shots towards the soldiers. Atir communicated mentally with Elias, “Keep them busy, I am making a move to the doors.” Atir and many gang members were being supported by the tank. They broke down the front door and they began to spill into the compound. Atir stopped at the door and summoned trees to erupt around the building. She made the effort to block the enemy’s view from the sky.
 
         She paused and felt like she was being watched by an outside source. She only glanced to the sky for a few seconds before moving into the buildings. “He better not be wasting my time. There better be something here and if there is not, I swear to the Void.” mumbling to herself as she made her way down the hallway. Any non-combatant she came across, she let them go. She only meant to kill anyone that tried to stop her. The tank outside continued to fire at the walls of the compound, opening more holes for gang members to come through.

Elias followed Blue quickly as she ran through the gate and observed as she exercised both power and skill to eliminate the quickly overwhelmed ONI guards.

Suddenly, Blue's voice echoed in Elias' head, asking him to cover the entrance to the server vault while she broke in. The Wizard didn't quite feel up to the task, but he vowed to do his best. Telepathy was a magic he didn't have much experience with, but he attempted it nonetheless.

"I've got you covered," Elias said through his mind, sending a little packet of mana containing the same vibrations towards Blue. It was more like throwing his voice than true telepathy, but it worked. The wizard had to shift his focus, though. Now that the guards were starting to take notice of a Supernatural opponent in their midst. With a spin of his staff he conjured a wall of air just thick enough to slow the velocity of the bullets down to the speed of BB's. The harmless lead bits bounced off his jacket as the wizard lobbed fireballs into the squads of marines.

Six ONI tanks rolled out of the vehicle depot that was situated behind the inner wall. They exited through the side gates and circled around, rolling down any gang members unlucky enough to get in their way and flanking the Nypherian tank from both sides. Without wasting any further time, all six of the tanks, three on each side, opened fire at the large vehicle. The ONI tanks themselves supported heavier armour than their original counterparts and their high-velocity shells generated devastating cluster-explosions upon impact. At the same time, the tanks also featured mini-guns mounted onto the body of the tank underneath the large cannon, each of which were seemingly unmanned. They opened fire with the mini-guns which sprayed the Nypherian tank with even more ammunition that exploded upon impact. The ONI tanks continued to go at this for as long as possible, firing all of their cannons continuously.

Meanwhile from a control room, Sergeant David Warner watched the screens of the ongoing battle as his plan successfully came to fruition. He stood still with his arms crossed as he watched from one of the CCTV feeds as Atir had somehow been able to infiltrate the building. He also noticed that most of the gang had made it inside the territory, having past the outer wall.
Warner turned his head and looked over to one of the communications officers, nodding as he met his eyes. The communications officer nodded back.
"Understood sir."

The remaining Warthogs that were outside the compound picking off stragglers received their new orders and turned and drove away from the site of battle. The remaining gunships also ceased fire and turned and left the battlefield. Merely seconds after anyone noticed this happening, a series of explosions suddenly erupted from all over the base. The explosions started at the central spire where the servers were supposedly located. The spire fell apart under the tremendous explosive force that seemed to originate from within, and any chance of recovering any data whatsoever was lost immediately as the entire building crumbled.

However the detonations did not last there, as the continued outwards from the spire and triggered all of the LOTUS ANTI-TANK mines located underneath the soil from the spire all the way to the border. Every single gang member on the field would have been killed immediately as the ground gave way beneath them to release the shockwaves of fire. The Nypherian tank itself would also have fallen victim to this fate, and whatever was left of it from the ONI tanks' continued assault would have been enveloped in a series of explosions coming from underneath it. The ONI tanks themselves or whatever was left of them at this point were annihilated.

The base had been completely obliterated.

It was at this point that The Freelancer had revealed himself. The ship over the now destroyed base de-cloaked and made its presence known to whoever survived the destruction of the base.

The Freelancer allowed a moment of pause for a moment, before finally speaking.
"I have what you need.. Atir bat Yishal" came a deep, menacing and somewhat synthetic voice through the ship's outer speakers.
As a precaution, The Freelancer activated his ship's energy shielding that was otherwise invisible to the naked eye. He also prepared it's weaponry in case The Nypherian tank survived.
He then silently awaited her reply.

The large explosion ripped through everything. Leaving bile of debry and smoke. The tank and her men were all dead. Minus the survivors who were outside of the facility. Within the smoldering ruins a figure stood up. Atir covered in her own blood snarled to herself. “Cowards”. She glanced down at her left arm and saw a large piece of metal in her arm. Grabbing the piece and pulling out of her arm. Blood pooled but he placed her metal hand over the gash. Void markings formed on her arm and the wound closed shut. Her attention became drawn to a voice above her. She narrowed her eyes, “Where did you come from?” mumbling to herself. She walked out of the burning crater and outside of the facility. The Nypherian tank was gone and nothing was left. She waved Elias over as she looked up at the stranger.
               

           “Alright, let’s see what you have!” she yelled up at the ship. Of course, she is curious about the ship and who is flying it. However, she is more interested in the data this being had and what he could offer to her. It dawned on her, “Why is this person helping me?” she crossed her arms and not caring if her cloths were torn. Revealing a bit of her chest and back. Parts of her legs were also showing from the damaged clothing. The remaining men were also looking up at the ship but most of them were watching to see if any enemies would come for them again.

As Elias led a group of gangsters towards the main ONI tower, explosions had suddenly began tearing through the building. The wizard barely threw up a barrier of solid energy in time to defend against the falling debris. It took all he had to channel the energy from the world around him through his cheaply made staff. The runes burned a bright sky blue as Elias held a translucent barrier in between him and the blast.

The dust settled quickly afterwords and Elias dropped his barrier. He took a quick look around, noting all the dead bodies. Gang and ONI alike were dead, and the only two people standing were Blue and Elias. The wizard walked over to Blue, whose clothes had been torn by the collapsing rubble. It was a miracle they covered the important bits at all.

"You want me to blast that guy," Elias asked, the runes on his staff began glowing with bright crimson.

A cylindrical beam of blue light shot down from the belly of the ship and landed upon whatever was left of the destroyed ground where the battle had taken place only a minute before.
"You are welcome to board my ship and take a look. Feel free to bring an escort with you... I have a price in exchange for this data. Step into the gravity lift and you will be transported to my ship."

In the bridge of the ship, The Freelancer examined the gang closely. All of them were comprised of human criminals, however Atir and one other male were noticeably different. The Freelancer zoomed into the male's face and examined him. He then looked at the energy readings and came to the realisation that he was examining a magic-user. He then zoomed out and examined both Atir and Elias at the same time. He took note of the staff and the metal arm. It seemed that both of them were magic users, but the type that the blue-furred male was radiating was different. Noticeably, a lot of energy readings were coming off his staff.
Intriguing.

Elias released the buildup of power within his staff. Magical energy flowed away as Blue spoke, commenting on some place called Vermire station. That and upgrades and symbols? Elias was sure nothing remotely like that existed in the UNSC. The wizard blindly followed Blue as she paced around, taunting the ship before he started to question.

"Wait," Elias said, "Blue, what is all of this for anyway? Blowing up ONI is great and all, but what were you going to do with the information once you retrieved it?"
