First Lucifer wordlessly attacked a truck driver, then he claimed he wasn't violent. Though the new girl seemed frightened for a moment before calming down and introducing herself as Mei, a chain master of some sort. Whatever that was. Elias didn't dwell on the topic too much before another person stumbled out of the woods. He was clearly as drenched and miserable as Elias was. He requested directions to the nearest town.

"It's just up the road," Elias said, pointing down the road in the direction the truck was facing, "It's a farming village but there's a small spaceport. You should be able to get transport there." He paused for a moment, "In fact, I'm headed there to trade off these mushrooms." Elias motioned towards the bag of mushrooms still sitting in the back of the truck. He snagged it and started walking down the road. "Y'all have fun in this rain." Elias called back. The tip of the wizard's staff flashed with a blinding white light and with a sound of ringing of steel, he disappeared.

Lucifer looks at the rest of the group and says "I think I will be going as well, my quest isn't going to finish it's self you know" as he see's Elias start taking off. He then notices a random person came out of nowhere coughing loudly which got his attention. He then looked the other way because he didn't think this many people would show up all of a sudden. Lucifer grabs his sword from the mans dead corpse pulling it out and starts to walk away in the other direction. "Hey you guys let me know if anything crazy happens but for now I have to finish this quest I was on" as he treks back to the location close where he first was.

As people started to part their ways Kyoko suddenly remembered her quest. She was supposed to kill some demon that was around this area. Her face turned pale as she thought, Could it have been Lucifer... Trying not to freak out she turned back to the girl and stared at her. Maybe she is the demon...but I don't even know if she is one. Standing there, she watched the rain pour down onto her, she didn't know what to do. If this demon she was supposed to kill was Lucifer then she has to finish her job but he didn't want to. How would she know who this demon was? Right as she was about to just turn around and run away she remembered something. She whispered, "Cursed Chain Master..." she was familiar with that name, she didn't know where she heard it before, though. Thinking hard she remembered, the Cursed Chain Master was a girl who had chains bound to her ankles by a curse. Rumor was that she couldn't fully control the chains bound to her so she could carelessly hurt someone accidently. Quickly she thought back to her quest and remembered that this demon was a female and she wasn't fully demon.

Her eyes lit up as she prepared for battle. There could be no other person like this out there so she knew it was her she was after. Laying her hand on her metal combat fans she drew them and got in battle stance. She waited for someone to react, Mei or someone else.

A flower petal drifts slowly to the ground. The petal layed in a pile of leaves in a forest near a road. A sudden spark of red, another, and three more. Suddenly a fire bursts to life engulfing the leaves slowly until it had formed a good sized pile of ashes. It soon engulfed the petal. It sparked with a rose color. The ashes then quickly formed a human shaped figure. A few seconds later Eden sat by the bonfire. He then slowly gets up and begins walking towards the road, aware that the people on it have seen him he draws his sheild only. He walks out of the brush and with a joyful voice says "greetings."

Mei watched as Kyoko stared off into space, clearly thinking on something. As she watched her she wondered what was going on inside her head and what had happened before she arrived. Swallowing hard she thought how Kyoko reacted when he bumped into her. She was kind of afraid of her now, especially that she was alone with her. Who knew how her fighting skills were and how agile he was. Suddenly, Kyoko looked back at her and drew her metal combat fans. She started to back away slowly because she didn't want to fight her. As she drew closer she knew there would be no running away so she moved her arms, crossing them as an 'X' and the chains went that way in front of her, acting as a shield.

Before Mei or Kyoko could make a move a man appeared out of nowhere and approached them. Hearing the joy in his voice and how he greeted them made her feel calm, except for the fact there was a girl that could attack her at any moment. She allowed the chains around her to drop to the ground and hoped that Kyoko would stop too. For some reason she wasn't afraid so she bowed in greeting and then waited to see how this would unroll

Seeing that Mei dropped her defensive act and let her chains drop she thought this would be a good chance to strike until she saw the man emerge from nowhere. Getting very agitated that someone might interfere in their battle she spat, "Who the heck are you and what do you want?" Before she said anything else she sized him up. She thought, Wearing armor....sheathed sword...good...large shield out....in defense...hmm. She waited for him to respond to her or Mei to actually focus on the battle before she forced her to.

The knight looks at the two, and he puts his shield down. He quickly realizes the two are fighting and then replies. "I am Eden, Walker of Sun and Rose, i do not mean aggression to any but evil." The knight continues, "My brothers are Jerimiah of Fallen Lords, and.. Jerra Walker of Nights." The knight clearly hesitates before saying the name of his third brother. After Eden does though he looks around cautiously. Eden then looks back over at the two fighting. "Who may you be then?"

Kyoko sighed, she knew that this fight wasn't gonna get anywhere so she lowered her weapons. She glanced at Mei and then back to Eden. She bowed, "I am Kyoko, Kyoko Yamashino." She hesitated before adding, "And over there is Mei, she can't speak apparently." Snapping back to her personality she asked with a little attitude, "May I ask, why are you here in the first place?" She waited for a response.

Mei was glad that Kyoko sheathed her weapons but she knew that she would pick them up again right when Eden leaves. She really hated fighting so she had to think for a moment Kyoko, I don't really like her, she's a pain but Eden seems nice. I don't want to upset them but I know there is no way that this fight had ended when it hadn't even started. Swallowing, she looked at Kyoko and the chains around her started to float. Just by looking at Kyoko you could tell she was a melee fighter, at least that is what she thought. She quickly lashed two chains out at the side at a tree and they pulled her five feet off the ground since they weren't huge trees. She lashed a few chains at Kyoko as an attack, aiming for her legs.

Eden quickly drew his sheild, splinters of wood peppering him. "Well, that's unexpected." Eden seemed calm, he was pondering to draw his sword or just keep blocking, but then he saw a large branch headed for him, he then decided and blocked the branch throwing Eden off his poise. He then walked into the center of the conflict and quickly decided to use some magic. "BONDS OF FAITH!!" Mei was suddenly bound by chains of orange light. Eden then turns and faces Kyoko. He simply shook his head slowly and stares at her eyes.

Kyoko was compelled by these actions, it went all too fast. She watched as the chains came at her but were quickly stopped by Eden. She was surprised that Mei made a move but was angry that Eden had interfered. "Excuse me but I could have dodged those attacks easily, plus this is our battle." She glanced at Mei who had chains of orange lights around her, "and, I don't think she likes having more chains around her." She said as she pointed at Mei. She took her metal combat fans and had them ready to defend herself and then she took two kunai knives and held them with her mouth. Glancing at her sword she thought, I will never draw that sword unless it's truly necessary.

Eden glances back at Mei and then Kyoko. He then says in a cooler voice then before. "Why does she attack you." Eden slowly reaches for his sword. "What ever did you do to anger her?" He was speaking to Mei. The chains eventually break and Mei is free to attack again, but Eden stands valiantly in the way of any attacks headed towards both Mei and Kyoko. "I will not let blood be shead while i am here. I am not my brother." Distant thunder rumbles, Eden stands, his hand on his swords handle, his arm covering an old blood stain.

Mei stared blankly at Eden, she didn't know how to respond since she can't speak. She shrugged, indicating that she did not know why Kyoko was a threat to her in the beginning. It started that Kyoko drew her weapons to kill her but when she got distracted and sheathed them that's when Mei attacked because she was open and knew Kyoko would attempt to attack her again. She gestured towards Kyoko, indicating for her to speak and not her. Before she let Kyoko begin she gave her a sad but dirty look, literally saying I Hate You.

When Kyoko realized she would have to do all the talking she rolled her eyes. Kyoko returned the dirty look back at Mei then looked at Eden. "Well see, Mei is as clueless as ever. She still doesn't know why I am a threat to her, which is on my part this time. So it began when I was given a quest to slay the Cursed Chain Master, which is Mei." She gulped as if she just swallowed her pride. "I told everyone that I was forced into this mission but the truth is my master gave me this task. My loyalty is to my master and I would never disobey him in any way. Even if I don't agree with this mission it's my duty to fulfill it." She stared at both of them, "This is why I must kill Mei." She then waited for a response.

Eden looked at Kyoko, he said in a calm voice "I am of the Mavire Vanguard, I will take Mei back to Prometheus, if you wish to kill Mei, you will have to kill me." Eden sighs "I cannot allow you to kill Mei unless she can be proven with malicious intent." Eden begins walking over to Mei. "I do not like this as much as you do, but my code still stands."

Kyoko sighed, she knew that she wouldn't be able to kill Mei this time. She would never hurt an innocent so she won't harm Eden. "Very well, you can take her this time but beware if she gets emotional she will be out of control and with destroy and kill innocent people. Also, if you end up on my master's bad side for this that's your fault because im telling him everything." She bowed in respect. She knew her master would not be mad because she didn't fail him, she simply obeyed the samurai code. Don't Kill Innocent People, Even In The Toughest of Situations.

She then turned to Mei, "Mei Izumi the Cursed Chain Master if I ever see you again I will kill you." As she said this she laid her hand on her sword, motioning she was not joking around.

As Kyoko stated she would let her live Mei felt relieved. She just didn't like the thought of going to this place with Eden. What Kyoko said was true, when she even gets the slightest emotional she can't control the chains and she has destroyed many villages and killed many people because of this. She didn't know what to do, she hated harming people and it was her future even if people denied that. She looked at Eden and then Kyoko and mouthed the words I'm Sorry.

Quickly Mei recited a spell in her head and quickly mouthed the word Hide Me. A gust of wind swept through and the chains around her wrapped around her and suddenly she and the chains were gone. She had teleported to a nearby closed off cavern somewhere deep underground. That was all she thought of to do because she couldn't go with Eden or let Kyoko kill her. When she was in the cavern she just sat in the corner and laid her head in her lap. Kyoko would never forget her, she knew this for a fact. She felt sorry for both of them though, she caused all of this trouble only for her to run away like a coward, but it was for the best.

Eden sighed at the anger of Kyoko, but respected her code. He put his sheild away and when he looked over to try and find Mei he didn't see her. "Mei, I will see you at Prometheus." A petal fell on Eden's shoulder, "it is time to go TR3X110X.." a gust of petals flows down from the heavens, every petal that lands onto Eden becoming ash with his body. This part was always painful. As more petals tear his body apart he screams his hallowed scream. The fire in the woods illuminates a deep pink. Then it fades, and all that is left at the spot of Eden is a blood red rose. Its spines sharp as a needle.

Kyoko watched as Eden took his leave. She looked at the remaining rose from where he was standing and sighed, "This was an interesting day.." She drew her sword and swiftly sliced the remaining rose in half. The rose petals disbanded and fluttered throughout the wind, landing on a pond nearby. She sheathed her sword and looked down at her feet. Her bamboo and straw sandals were falling apart. "Well, I'll have to make a new pair now." She said as she rolled her eyes. Looking up she saw the enormous mountain towering over the forest miles off. She started walking towards it since on the very top was a temple where her master was at. As she walked off into the distance a single speck of gold fell from the sky and landed on the ground.
