Technology: The planet has limited advanced technology but rather relies on magic as a form of power. Crystals, enchantments and spells are used to generate power to the cities. Energy is in no short supply due to the planet itself being a hotbed of natural magic. Although Fey weaponry is medieval in style and method of forgery, their weapons are often enhanced with magic and are expertly well crafted.
History: The Fey were created by the Celestial Gaia and so was their planet Feyworld. Gaia considered the Fey her most beautiful and intricate creation. When the Convergence happened the planet was drawn into the galaxy where it now sits. Seeking to serve the best interests of the galaxy, Feyworld aligned itself with the GSU. Saying this, the Fey rarely take an active role in the greater affairs of the galaxy unless it directly affects them. The planet has had millennia of King’s and Queens, the current King being Talis Veilsong. With Talis’ marriage to Jaya, Queen of Phoenixspire, a close cooperation between the two planets was forged. Feyworld also acts as an educational centre for many magical species and sometimes as a place of pilgrimage for those seeking magical training or healing.
Description: Feyworld is an incredibly beautiful and lush planet. It is largely forest terrain and nature is its primary feature. Cities and towns are built around the trees and other natural obstacles; they do not obstruct any growth of plants. Many of the Fey actually use the trees for homes. Feyworld’s sky is a mixture of several colours as a result of the planet being a kind of hub for natural energy; blue, purple, green and sometimes pink. The sky is never black, only a dark purple at night, if the sky were to turn black this would signify a dramatic loss of natural/life energy from the planet’s atmosphere. Many of the plants that grow on Feyworld can be used for medicinal purposes. |
