One ship. That is all the Alliance had so far. That one ship left over from Jaya's journey to Phoenixspire now carried a diplomatic envoy towards the Feyworld. Jaya herself was onboard, preparing herself for the meeting ahead with her advisers. Joining her was a representative from Seslavaris, the mining colony already under Alliance control, and a series of diplomats from Phoenixspire itself.

As their ship began it's descent in the Feyworld everyone felt the shift in the atmosphere. A strong magical presence surrounded this planet as it held the closest connection to the Fey than anywhere else. It's natives were much like elves except much more proficient with magic, and they revered nature more. Jaya had done her research, especially on their King; Talis Veilsong, whom was their first sight upon leaving the ship.

"Queen Almis," Talis spoke with a smile, gesturing his arm aside. "Welcome to the Feyworld, if you would follow me."

The whole envoy followed as requested, walking in line down a grand white corridor with curved architecture that the Fey were well known for. Infront of them the King walked gracefully taking obvious pride in his palace's appearance. It wasn't long however before they reached a meeting room holding a table and six chairs.

"Take a seat," Talis' hand extended again as he placed himself at the far side of the table. Jaya sat opposite him with her people on either side between them. "So, what is it I can help you with?"
"We are forming an Alliance," Jaya began bluntly, nodding to an associate on her right. The man was an Elf who handed forward a small amount of papers on top of which was written 'The Alliance of Kings'.

"I see," Talis flicked open the pages, examining each semi-closely. "Let's not be vague though. You are here for our ships, are you not?"

"Well, I'd be lying if I said your ships aren't the most coveted in the sector." Jaya flashed a charming smile, to which Talis laughed genuinely.
"I see," He nodded whilst his eyes looked down. "This is about the Demons isn't it?" His posture relaxed slightly from the regal one he'd been holding all this time. "Your cause is just Queen Jaya, and I can support it with my whole heart. It is time these Demons were eradicated. In the past it was your father and his group of friends who were forced to try, but now it seems only armies can push them back."
"And an army is nothing without ships." Jaya added, tilting her head with a suggestive tone.

Talis examined her for a moment, thinking through all of his options and ideas.
"I am all for this Alliance, but as just as it is there will need to be terms ironed out. I can't give my ships out for free or else my people will die before the demons even reach us."
"I understand that, your grace." Jaya responded. "We are open to full negotiations. Every King in the Alliance is of equal."

"So, we provide ships to your armies." Talis waved a hand as he spoke. "What do we get?"
"First of all, Mutual Protection. Every member of the Alliance will come to another's aid upon being attacked. You will also benefit from shared armies, training and knowledge. Secondly the Alliance will set up and protect trade routes between all Kingdoms, so that we may all prosper together. Thirdly," Jaya now paused to make a beckoning motion with her finger to the associate on her left. From under the table he brought up a small object wrapped in cloth, sliding it across to Talis.

"The Solis Gems..." Talis gasped in awe as he opened the cloth, gazing upon the magnificent diamonds inside.
"In the vaults at Phoenixspire. The brigands there previously didn't know their worth, but luckily I did. I believe they belong with their creators." She gave a warm smile, examining the look of happiness on Talis' face.

"I must say Lady Almis, you make a tempting deal."

"I believe this will pique your interest, Lady Jaya." Talis stood and lead the way from the meeting room, leaving the rest of the envoy to finish paperwork with his people. Slowly they walked the halls of the palace, passing grand dining halls and beautiful gardens.
"We have been making ships for decades now, but our world has little use for them. The demons have not attacked us and we were in no allegiance before now." The King explained as they approached the far side of the palace, gesturing to two giant doors ahead. "I had this brought to my palace hangar before your arrival, I thought you might be here for ships so I will show you our best."

"Heaven's Memory." The King named it as Jaya entered, beholding the large vessel that lay strung up in the hangar. Engineers who looked more like Magicians were working on various parts of it, from it's rising bridge to it's twisting engines. 
"It's beautiful," She complimented, eyeing the ship up and down. "And the name is most touching." Her eyes glanced up to Talis, who was smiling most sincerely.

"First of all although it looks wooden the material is actually heavily enchanted ironwood, meaning it's airtight and stronger than any hull the UNSC could produce," Talis' hand gestured up to the material as he spoke, then moved it to point at the runes running all along it's sides. "Ancient runes power the shields, capable of acting as projectile and energy barriers. Then the engines are powered by four nexus crystals with fail safe in case on crystal stops working." His hand now pointed all the way to the back of the ships where four larged engines twisted around each other like roots of a tree.

"Now for weaponry; Arcane Gems. The cannons contain focusing crystals that direct magical energy over long distances, allowing for a laser-like weapon fueled purely by natural magic." The King's hand now lowered. "That's the wonder of our ships, Lady Almis. They can't be hacked or shut down by EMPs. They run solely on magic." His head turned to look proudly up at the ship.

"How many do you have?" Jaya asked.
"A dozen ready for use, as many more as you need in production. This is only our latest class of cruiser too. I assure you we have frigates, fighters and bombers ready to mobilize when the time comes."
"Excellent," Jaya smiled at the King. "I'm impressed."

"Do you believe we can do it?" Jaya asked as they walked back into the palace. "Destroy the demons for good?"
"Hmph," Talis half laughed, thinking for a moment whilst he look at the Queen. "Yes, I believe we can. With my ships and the armies of the other free races, their Crusade won't stand a chance."
"But we will need the UNSC." Jaya added, although not sounding too pleased about it.
"Ah yes, an unfortunate necessity. But maybe the war will knock some sense into them. They couldn't defeat the demons without our help. Maybe the will see that we should work in harmony."
"Maybe." Was all Jaya had to say on that. She'd already tried to make them see, but ONI had other plans.

"Now then," Talis spoke as he sat down at the meeting table once again. "Onto more business I'm afraid. The fleet is at your command, Lady Almis." His hand ran over the table and released a burst of energy into it. Quickly magical light rose from it's surface to paint a detailed map of the nearby systems with a marker for the fleet currently on the Feyworld.

"What is our next move?" Talis asked, surveying the galactic map to spot any obvious planets.
"Arcanus," Jaya pointed to the planet east of the Feyworld. "The mages there will be of great aid to our cause."
"Indeed, a wise choice." The King smiled and nodded. "Although you are aware we will need warriors too. As much as Mytheria will eventually provide, we need the Asgardians. However they are quite out of reach for the moment."
"Closer to the Demons than us..." Jaya pondered for a moment. "It seems we will have to rely on our ships and magicians until we reach them."
"Risky, however we have no other choice." Talis concurred, looking eastwards towards the Demonic territory, then back again to the center. 

"What about Drakenhelm? Will the Dragons come to our aid?"
"I hope so," Jaya replied. "But there's no way of knowing."
"One would hope they recognize a descendant of Nozdormu himself."
"That might not be a good thing, he was corrupted."
"But you are as pure as snow, Lady Almis. They will trust you, I feel it."

Within the stratosphere of the planet, the sky twisted in a mystical way. Within seconds a loud crack echoed and two Nypherian Battle Cruisers appeared in the sky. The sound of the two ships exiting warp travel shook the ground below as they moved slowly above the meeting that was taking place below. Instantly two fighters escorting a small craft flew out of of one of the Nypherian cruisers.

The escort and one small ship flew in a perfect tight nit formation. As they came close towards the outskirts of the city. The small ship landed and the fighters broke formations and flew off and separate directions. As the ship landed it closed its flight wings and a hatch bay opened. It rested on the ground as a humanoid like being came out. He looked human but he had pale blue skin and white hair. His eyes were neo blue and his uniform was very similar to that of the old USA Navy officers  Uniform. Then two Nypherian soldiers flanked both of his sides. The man carried a case that held the sword that was given to them not long ago.

They began to walk towards the meeting that was taking place and completely ignored anyone else trying to talk to them.

"Unknown vessels landing, my lord." One of the Fey reported into the meeting room. Everyone moved to the windows to look at the cruisers.
"What the-" The King began, but was cut short by Jaya.
"They're friendly." She nodded with confidence, before turning back. "They're not from this galaxy, but they're peaceful." Talis followed her to meet the visitors on their way, trusting her words.

"Oh, and they have something of mine."

The official walked up to her as he held out the briefcase. It was long and obviously had something within it. He held it out and opened the case, revealing the sword that was given to the Nypherians not to long ago.

" As promised my lady. We have kept it safe within the Void. Our leader Seyfer sends his regards. However, there are 2 things we must discuss. The first is the open discussion of a non aggression pact with your people. With such growing tensions of the possible war between the Muck Walkers and the UNSC. We are here to make a pact with the newly formed kingdom. The possibility has now increased to a 2 on 1 fight. We will not interfere with your business and you will not interfere with ours.

Also, the second thing is that  we offer open trade within Vermire. Paperwork here will tell you how to reach it and which docking bays are for trade between Nations. However, we implore you not to bring war to our doorstep. If this happens, we will consider it a Void in our pact."

The Nypherian peace keeper said as he placed the briefcase on the ground and handed her the paperwork of details of Vermire.

Jaya smiled as soon as the briefcase came into sight, obviously knowing what it contained.
"Thank you," She nodded as she picked the sword up, examining it's sheathe and hilt. At her touch it glowed a gentle white, before resting after it sensed she was already purged. Attaching it to her side she then listened to what the official had to say.

"I see," She said once he had finished. "We would gladly honor your pact." Her smile continued, taking the paperwork to examine it. "I swear we shall keep this war away from your home."

"Thank you, again." Jaya turned to hand her assistant the paperwork, then rested her hand upon Blightslayer as she looked at King Talis. "Now, there's work to be done."

The business was done. the Nypherians left in peace as they returned to their ship. however, they weren't done with other plans. soon,  a mothership was going to be coming into the galaxy. this meant only one thing, invasion. as the cruisers warped back to their territory, with the pact in tact. all they would do is watch.
