[size=46]Rate of fire is one of its downfalls, throw in the fact that this weapon has no protection and it has a huge disadvantage over fast targets and ones that shoot back.[/size]

 Asmelia and the other planets in the Eon triangle are equipped with several large automated rail-guns. these were intended to disable shields of identified large space craft entering the atmosphere to deter them from attacking the planets. although these security measures are not instant. If the unidentified vessel does not identify itself or a high ranking personal doesn't identify it, the guns will fire hitting the ship and hopefully scaring the crew members and sending them away. If the Rail-guns do not scare the ship away, however, the guns will attempt to lock onto the vessel and fire again causing damage. The rail-guns themselves are one of the biggest cannons that the Atrata federation has at its disposal, with the cannons being about 670 meters long. The cannons have the canon white, blue, and orange color scheme that the Atrata Federation's ships are painted in. Only one of these cannons is in tact and its on asmelia but is severely damaged with a high risk of exploding when fired. This one singular rail-gun has been disabled manually by the Atrata Federation Remnant
