While it has been months since the events on Omega the unofficial alliance established between the Imperium and the Immortals was yet to be discussed.There was a lot of bureaucratic crap in the wake of learning about other stellar powers and adjusting political viewpoints to suit the integration of an human population into the Imperial demography.

The time was right and with the raising expansion of the Immortal forces the Imperium needed to draw lines.So they sent an signal bearing coordinates to their Capital world which was still unmapped and very much hidden by most other powers.The signal's message read:

"Greeting Immortals....Your leadership has been invited to the Imperial Court which will convene in the following week to discuss the treaty in our grand empire.The summit will gather in the Imperial Throne hall on New Serpentum alongside your leadership you may bring several trustworthy bodyguards and one ship of your choosing be it an battleship or simply civilian in nature.As per our code we will not bring harm to the visitors of his Imperial Majesty Emperor Sagess Skyrunner,and you will be treated as members of the Imperial Family for the duration of the summit.
Following this message is an set of coordinates and an security code...We urge you not to share these coordinates and the security code as it would compromise the entire summit and your own personal safety.When you reach the system you will be met with the Serpentum Armada who will ask for these codes....Once provided they will send an fighter unit to escort you to the Ceaseless Citadel."

Orbiting the capital world was the massive system of docking stations and military spaceports that served as the Armada's port,the coordinates would warp the Immortal ship an few kilometers from this station where an Imperial fleet consisting of Drak Destroyers and Corvettes awaited the arrival of the Immortal diplomats.It was to be the first visit of outsider forces to the Imperial Capital which to some of the Varanus was considered holy and not an place to be threaded upon by Zodarrin. In truth some of the Varanus nobility resented aliens and would rather see them hanged from the Citadel walls.....Luckily the Emperor in his wisdom chose to suppress such backwater thoughts in light of an greater cause.

As Viktor was the one who had negotiated the foundation of the alliance, he was elected to complete the alliance, surely he would do this well unlike spectre who would most likely butcher this with her racist thoughts that she couldnt keep to herself. He boarded his own personal Viral battleship and departed to New serpentum. As usual Viktor chose to control the ship himself as he sailed to the imperial planet, the journey wasnt short as the Viral battleships were very slow and awkward to handle at the full speed. Eventually it reached the armada and he opened a channel to communicate with the armada. "Hello? this is Viktor the Bear from the immortal spacefleet, i have this code here and i was invited to an audience to discuss an alliance with your people."

The ship at the very front of the formation hailed the Viral battleship,establishing communications between the two ships as the High Admiral in command of the fleet accepted the security codes,and soon two La'mek fighters appeared from the docking bays flying towards the Viral battleship.

The High Admiral welcomed the Immortal representative. "Welcome Zodarrin-Ka to the Capital,two of our fighters will escort you into the planet's airspace towards the Citadel.Please refrain from flying away from the directed course as not to alarm the Capital Guard,once you land the Chamberlain will meet you and escort you to the throne hall."

The La'mek fighters would direct Viktor towards the urban zone visible from space,as the ships would enter the atmosphere as the ships breached the Thermosphere an sea of clouds and in the distance stood the vast capital city of the Serpentum Imperium,it's marble white towers stood high above the walls that separated the various districts of the city.Thousands of ships both military and civilian crisscrossed it's airspace and in far northern part of the city stood the massive re-purposed wreck of the old Ark which brought the Varanus and their subjects to this galaxy.Huge turrets could be seen dotted across the wreckage,the La'mek fighters would lead Viktor towards this Wreck-turned fortress and land in an circular opening in an nearby walled courtyard inside the walled district that surrounded the Wreckage.

The silvery metallic landing zone had an water pool surrounding it,and the marblesque white stone of the surrounding walls shone as it reflected the unyielding sun.Silky curtains of dark red and black was strewn across the walls in the courtyard with banners depicting an stylized burning star....The Sun of Serpentum....The emblem and flag of the Serpentum Imperium.

At an nearby porch sheltered from the sun and aided by several guards clad in golden armour stood the Chamberlain,an female Varanus clad in elegant robes of red,dark blue and gold and eagerly awaited for the arrival of the Immortal Diplomat who she would greet with an warm smile and respectful bow.

The massive viral battleship got near the wreckage of the repurposed ship. "my friends! i am almost certain we will never be able to fit the entire viral in there without damaging the err...building. Allow me to go to the hangar and see if one of the pilots will lend me their ships. I will hurry up, my apoligies." the viral ship hovered next to the repurposed wreckage for several minutes until a big hatch opened that was no doubt the hangar as a single ship flew out of it and landed in the coutryard. The ship opened and two individuals came out of it, one was unmistakably Viktor and next him was a short girl with orange hair and a blue/white rogue armor on, Keya Gildas. They both walked up to the chamberlain and bowed in return, while this was not of their customs it seemed the best thing to do at someone else's home.

During the walk there was a loud thud. Thiw was because Viktor's hammer strap broke so instead of going back wich would most likely be considered rude and instead just held it upside down in a casual, non threatening way. As he continued to follow the chamberlain through the building, the rest of it reminded him of a viral battleship actually just a darker shade. A more unhappy expression apeared on his face though as he heard he had to bow alot more wich was bad for his back. He entered the large circular hall wich sort of reminded him of an arena and almost inspired him to taunt the stages, of course he didnt. He placed his hammer with the heavy side down and the handle up to help him bow and stand up without hurting his back. 

He was used to serving a king so he had no problem with calling someone majesty, even if the king on jeslore these days was a lower rank than him. "you're majesty, i have proposed this alliance with errr, a barron of yours at omega when we ran an anti slavery campaign to free some of our citizens. We have now arrived here to finalize this alliance"

As Viktor sat down on one of the many chairs, there was a noise cominf from it, reflecting the giant's total while the small elf sat down next to him with the seat making no noise at all. The two played along with the emperor as much as they could they had little to no knowledge about the varanus customs so while they were coming over as polite and humble, it was delivered in kind of an awkward way. They joined in the toast but to Keya's advice Viktor only took small sips over time. Not because they feared for poison but because they feared the drink may be alcoholic, and a drunken Viktor may not be very good in a deal like this. After the emperor's aide began speaking but of them attentionally listened.

"aye, that is true...Due to a long dark history with slavery on our own planet we wish to end it once and for all, preferably through negotiation...But my friend, the baron has already informed me that slavery is completely different than our understanding of it, with their health and happiness being taken into acount. You see, the reason we began our conquest is because of abuse of servants but if instead the servants are treated well, are allowed to see their family and are being looked after with eye for their health there really is no problem. And aye, we have offered our technology and our support. In the event of an attack on your people we will be responding alongside you and be sending the finest of our troops down to aid your people on top of that we will be sharing our technological advances with you. In exchange we simply wish to confirm the mercifull treatment of your subjects and some assistance in combat should the need arise...Forgive me if i have gotten things wrong, i'm not as young as i used to be..."

Needless to say, the immortal representatives were dissapointed with this turn of events. They remained quiet for the rest of the evening as there wasnt much they could do for now. Without even doing as much as responding to the current change in atmosphere the immortals stayed quiet during the rest of this meeting, they stayed around as long as the reception lasted and they left to their own home after a long while. With hope that they would recieve this further notice soon they went home with high hopes to their industrial planet. While this could certainly be seen as a setback it wasnt a whole failure.
