Omega......Home to some of the most prominent scum of the galaxy,it was also the largest hub for slave trading throughout the Outer Worlds,far away from the GSU and it's anti-slavery policies.The various crime lords who ran Omega had their gangs terrorize those who would not submit to their authority.The Serpentum Imperium had it's agents scour Omega for quite some time now,the rich slave trade found on the station drew the attention of the Imperial Court who recognized the need for new slaves for their civil services on the soon to be new colony of Argatu.So the Imperium sent a Ma'Gel Light Cruiser with seven contingents of legionnaires,these were after all just criminals so the Legion expected little resistance should they be attacked. The one in charge of the trade was Baron Baliq Imar,second son of Viscount Raxus Imar an prominent figure in the Imperial Court.

The Light Cruiser warped out of hyperspace some miles outside of the station,after getting clearance to land from whatever group ran the station,several cargo dropships alongside 3 Tempest Dropships made their way to the hangar.As they landed the viridian-scaled Baron with a escort of 5 legionnaires began their search for future workers for Argatu. Among the legionnaires was the green scaled agent known as Kaiyan,as an legionnaire and imperial agent for the court his concerns were the safety of Baron Baliq. As they passed the run down homes of the many poor on the station he couldn't help but feel pity for these Zodarrin. He kept his eyes fixed on the gangs who stood watching the well-armed squad march their way towards the slave markets.....

It would be quick in and out......With many new hands for the Imperium's new colony.....

the immortals have been closely watching Omega for quite some time now, especially after that predicament with the dreadnought, viktor got some intel on the slave thread in the galaxy. Omega has been on viktor's shitlist and the viral D.C.S drakar has followed a small ship of some empirium to omega...

As soon as the imperium ship arrived viktor called in other virals that were nearby, 4 of them since with the proved efficiency of the virals the immortals were churning them out and while still a rarity, they were increasing in quantity slowly but surely, soon enough omega was surrounded by virals and viktor used the radio communication to warn the pirates of their attack.

"attention. this is captain viktor from the viral D.C.S Drakar we hereby find you guilty of the undying crimes slavery, wasting of lifetime and degradation of fellow human or sentient beings. we are giving you the chance to surrender, safely hand over the prisoners and surrender if you decide to co-operate you will be spared from our bacteria. fight back and you will face the death sentence! you have 30 seconds to decide!"

Admiral Fi'lad was in command of the light cruiser,several unidentified corvettes of some sort appeared,scans revealed that the ships were unlike anyting the confused Admiral has seen as she opened communication with the new arrivals. "Attention,Zodarrin fleet..You are interfering  the Serpentum Imperium,your accusations have been noted.....Please stand by......"

The Admiral quickly contacted the Baron.... "Lord-baron an Zodarrin fleet under an Captain Viktor,normally I'd be obligated to engage hostile forces against the Imperium,however if we fail your lordship might be trapped on the Zodarrin Station.I cannot be held responsible for your capture or death they claim to want to free the slaves....How do you want us to proceed?"

The Baron stopped in his tracks and spoke at the holo-gauntlet he carried. "Do not engage......Patch me through to the Zodarrin Captain.....An few seconds passed before the Admiral replied, "contact established". The Baron surrounded by his legionnaires became the first to open diplomacy with another power....... "Greetings Zodarrins,I am Baron Baliq of the Serpentum Imperium, I offer you a chance at peace,I wish to invite you and a contingent of your troops to this...Omega Station to discuss our situation in private.....You claim that we would waste the lives of these beings when we actually have much more noble intentions.....What say you Zodarrin Captain?"

The Light cruiser raised it's shields but powered down it's weaponry as a token of peace.

viktor was not too surprised they wanted to negotiate as they by now most definetly had a reputation among slavers, so instead of using the offensive impalers, the proceeded to use small unarmed ships to enter omega, though viktor obviously wouldnt come alone, he was accompanied by 16 bacteria troopers, two were armed with long range smoker rifles and the rest were with heavy machine guns and assault shotguns while viktor himself was wielding a large hammer, just like in the medievals...

they walked up to the baron, Viktor was towering over the the bacteria himself as he was a giant after all. Viktor was pleasantly surprised by a lack of screaming he would usually hear in these prison blocks, in fact there was giggling and the sound of water rushing. "aye, you have me here. we of the immortals have as our goal to root our slavery for we have had some gruesome past with it on our own planet, violators who break these rules are enemies of our faction. So tell me what you have to say, as we still have a mission, i will hear you out and i'd love to be pleasantly surprised even further."

The Baron turned his legionnaires flanking him as they awaited the arrival of the Zodarrin,the Baron was surprised to say the least to see an gargantuan bearded Zodarrin leading a group of well armed soldiers towards the group of 7 Varanidae,the giant towered even the Varanus as he spoke: aye, you have me here. we of the immortals have as our goal to root our slavery for we have had some gruesome past with it on our own planet, violators who break these rules are enemies of our faction. So tell me what you have to say, as we still have a mission, i will hear you out and i'd love to be pleasantly surprised even further."



Among the Varanus squad the Baron was the only one with wings and horns longer then that of the more armoured Varanidae legionnaires,he stepped forward his embroidered robes sporting colours of dark red and black. "Greetings warriors of the Immortals,you claim to seek the freedom of slaves correct,you however claim poor judgment upon the intentions of the Imperium.....Yes we are here to buy slaves with the intention that they would serve our empire.......But it is far from being described as gruesome....At least for most whom serve the Imperium. If you would allow it I shall explain it to you."



Kaiyan stood behind the Baron ready to push in front of him in-case diplomacy goes awry,the legionnaires clad in their power armour were uneasy and kept their weapons holstered but ready to deploy at any time.They were outnumbered but the legionnaires had faith in their more advanced technology and training.The large giant however was a concern for he wielded a large hammer which could easily break through the impact-shielding of the power armour.



The atmosphere between the two parties was filled with tension as the Baron awaited the reply of the giant known as Viktor.

"err, if there is truth to your words, that the life of these people will not be bad at all perhaps we can come to an agreement. introduce their rights, including that of vacation...er in short have them have the same right a free person has, make fair payment for their efforts, that way you will not violate our undying laws and that way i am not instructed to destroy your actions, and the 'prisoners' will at least not be unhappy. ill offer something else too, if you treat them better and let us control it once every few months, we could ally our organizations and we'll lend you some of our ships. but even then i will have to take down omega and let the prisoners out, to prevent them from being acquired by those who do have evil intentions with them."

the moment he started speaking, the tension faded quickly and he stretched his hand out, wich was easily bigger than the baron's whole head.

The Baron's smile was quickly turned to a grin,he watched the giant stretched his gargantuan hand towards the Baron. The Baron stood watching his hand as his mouth twitched,his thoughts explored all options available to him then he turned his slitted gaze towards Viktor.

"Your offer is kind and the terms reasonable,but you have to understand this is not my decision to make....I am just one baron of a court of nobles in a empire,your terms would have a effect on the Imperium as a whole.....Rather I'd offer this.....Our leadership will address this issue upon whichever planet you choose. As for Omega...This station is an hive of criminal scum and poverty and  I could care less of what would happen to it.....As for the slaves I agree that they should be freed lest they fall into less kind hands.......However I cannot return to my lord empty-handed....If you would allow we shall do a deal........We both unleash our forces upon this station,you will have the new liberated slaves whilst the Imperium would take their handlers....Would it please you to see the slavers turned into slaves.....These criminal scum would work rather then bring harm to those around them....What say you Zodarrin Viktor?"

"huh, we in the immortals dont enslave, even if they deserve it, you see one of our co-founders had been a slave herself and you can understand she would be more than aggitated to see us do what she hates so much, but i do accept your offer and bring my words to your supervisors. That way we can negotiate the prices for the quality control and their rights being implemented. and you can spare your troops and instead record our attack on omega, that way we can prove our valor wich hopefully results in your leader's interest in our alliance."

he says as he lifts the giant hammer of his shoulder and holds it in his one hand, the hammer's hitting point was almost 2/3 the size of the baron. as the soldiers around him pump the gun back, loading their weaponry to raid omega.

"so be sure to send our ship your co-ordinates and we'll send you these of our planet of bussines for further details and negotiations on our deal here."

The Baron turns to the line of legionnaires behind him and gazes upon the one who has a spiked helmet compared to the other armour-clad varanidae. "Decanus! Break out the data spheres and record the Immortal raid,have two squads form to blockade the space-port's emergency exits....Any one attempting to leave should be captured and brought to the cruiser for identification."

The Decanus saluted and ordered his men....."Form ranks....Arazak Fu Lok" he spoke in ancient Varanus which roughly translates to "Alright let's move" in the common tongue. They immediately set off in squads of two the silver metallic greaves of their power armour banging against the station floor.The only legionnaire that remained was Kaiyan whom under his power armour kept a close eye on the Immortals.

The Baron then turned to the group of Immortals and said his canined mouth smiling. "The Legion does not sit around while others do the fighting....These are mere criminals I have full faith that the legionnaires would carry out their objective without delay."

He pulled out another sphere which flickered to life and revealed a half-finished map of the milky way galaxy.It contained a detailed map of the outer-worlds and it's planetary bodies. "Your forces are situated in this sector correct?" He pointed towards the area of space the Immortals were currently at however he was a few planets off.

the immortal bacteria marched forward to guard doors, by now the pirates have undoubtedly overheard their conversation so the immortal bacteria marched into hallways, taking heavy fire but shrugging it off like it's nothing with their armor being so powerfull, for now these men were an effective plug for stopping the pirates from reaching their room.

"close but no cigar though i suppose it's acurately good for someone who doesnt know of our organization, but once you know wich ones it are you'll never forget because our apearance is very distinct. See that beautifull blue and green one between the metal one with a hole and the big spiked one? that is jeslore, my planet of birth and the metal one is apex 122, our main source of resources, then the big spiked one is our base of operation and can very much serve as a panic room."

then the immortals marched into the main hall and for people who were carrying armor that made them look like the michelin man, they moved fairly fast, because they were trained around it and were adept at taking damage and returning it in larger amounts.

Whilst the Immortals crushed the few crime lords whom had put up a petty resistance,the legionnaires gathered a large amount of crime lords who attempted to flee the station.

Soon enough the legion pulled out taking these crime lords with them to the cruiser to be prosecuted.....unfortunately for the crime lords Imperial law was not kind upon murderers,drug kingpins and smugglers.They placed them on their knees in the hangar bay,with legionnaires taking positions adjacent to them across the room.

The Baron then stood next to the Decanus and watched each one of these criminals,their dirty faces remained looking at the ground...mostly because an M-2 Rail-Rifle was aimed at their heads.The baron grinned....These scum could have served the Imperium....Reeducation through service....Rehabilitation through humility.....But alas they did not account the Immortals.....

Imperial Law dictates.....Should criminals find themselves unable to repay their debts to society through service.....then they should pay through blood.

The Baron spoke with the Decanus and nodded before walking back to his drop-ship.

The Decanus raised his claw,and as he did the legionnaires readied their rifles,the noise in the hanger seemed to fade away as the heavy breathing of the various criminal scum deepened.Then nothing but the hum of energy could be heard as the rail rifles fired,tearing the criminals apart.

Then the legionnaires boarded the dropships after they retrieved their data-spheres and headed back towards the cruiser.

The Admiral then scoured the station destroying any ships attempting to flee.Luckily there was only two ships who did attempt to flee.Another ship warped before the cruiser's cannons could lock onto it. Later the Imperium would learn on that ship was a wanted group of criminals known as the "Morgan Brothers." two pirate brothers who Kaiyan have met before......


About an hour later the Imperial cruiser transmitted coordinates to the Immortal ships before warping back to New Serpentum.....The Baron did not have the workforce he was assigned to get....But rather an opportunity for something greater,besides he thought...."We can always find other means to obtain a workforce."
