Description
Based from the popular M-2 Rail-rifle design the W'eaver was modified for long range engagements effectively becoming the standard energy sniper-rifle of choice by Varanus sharpshooters.
The W'eavr is an powerful weapon with several key flaws,it shares the small clip size that the M-2 Rail Rifle has only allowing 5 shots before requiring an energy cell replacement,the plasmic energy still struggles to pierce through shielding and each shot requires an 6 second charge up period where the plasmic energy concentrates before being shot through the rails within the barrel at immense speeds.
The W'eavr has twice the power of the M-2 Rail Rifle being able to pierce through armoured foes and softer targets alike,the intelligent scope built into the rifle provides tactical data such as distance,wind speed and other data that affects the accuracy of the plasmic shot.
It is an deadly weapon to face should one walk into the sights of an Legionnaire Sniper.
