History
Kaeda claims to have been abandoned as an infant.  In the confines of the Kafgen tunnel.  Caught in the tunnel during a flood he was flung deeper and deeper into the tunnel system finally coming to rest in an ancient goblin graveyard.  While most goblins eat their dead the bodies of those considered sacred were laid to rest in graveyards such as this.  Here in the presence of earth, water and corpses Kaeda found himself called by the spirits of the other goblin shamans before him. 

Raised on a steady diet of rats and sewage he has been trained in nothing but the magical arts since before he could walk.  Only the continual flooding of the tunnel has been able to force him into the open.  With the flooding the graveyard has become desecrated and he no longer hears the voices of his ancestors within it.  He desperately wants to have that communion with his ancestors once more and has vowed to find it.
