The Nypherian Armada of over 10,000 ships broke from warp. Each leaving warp in groups. The large armada moved slowly towards the planet, Abiri. Over the planet, a large Asmodian mother ship. A large ship standing at 10,000 meters. Vice Admiral Koff and Rear Admiral Melz Akeim stood on deck of the lead Nypherian ship. They eyed the mother ship and knew this would be a hard fought battle. Around the Asmodian ship, there were 1,000 smaller frigates that were guarding the ship. Scans came in and it showed that the Asmodians had a full grip on the planet. "Vice Admiral, scans are showing the Asmodians have already purged the planet. We won't have to worry about natives or friendly fire. I recommend we send Lord Srox the updates. Their forces will be waiting for the go ahead."

Vice Admiral Koff nodded his head in acknowledgement towards the Rear Admiral. This operation would be easier because of no natives to worry about. Though, fighting a 10,000 meter Asmodian ship, that is the real challenge. The fleet spread out and began operations. Fire erupted from both sides, fighter pilots ran to their ships and prepared for conflict. Nypherian AI ships were already out in combat. The cybernetic fighters soon left the hangars and flew into combat.

The fleets had been engaged in combat for the first 3 days. Even within that amount of time, the Nypherians have not been able to break through. Each side had been losing their frigates. Though, the Nypherians had overwhelmed the Asmodians by numbers, the large Mothership looming over the planet had been keeping them at bay. The fighters swarmed around the Asmodian frigates, dodging AA weaponry and engaging in dog fights with Asmodian fighters. Cybernetic divisions have been escorting Nypherian bombers, making sure they cut through enough enemy frigates.

“Bravo 135, escorting package” “Affirmative, AA within DR, stay alert and RTB for next escort mission” Cross chatter between the Cybernetic Squad leader and HQ, leading the team towards their target. They hid within the many wrecks of destroyed Asmodian Frigates. They moved through them, hiding from scans, they broke from the field and flew down towards their target. “Dropping payload” bright red streaks flew from the bombers within the squad. The first struck the shields and shattered them. The massive explosion ripped the shields apart and the next wave of bombs struck the top of the frigate. The weapons exploded and ripped the frigate apart.

The Frigate ripped in half, the explosion followed through the rest of the ship. Igniting the ammunition and sending a large shockwave through space. Like a massive light show, the rest of the frigate exploded. Anti Air rounds began to streak towards them from another frigate. A few rounds struck the bombers and they exploded on contact. Nypherian frigates soon began to pass through the wreckage field and they opened fire on the frigate.

Vice Admiral Koff over looked the plans on the current conflict. He began to shift through the data and transfer anything important to other screens. He began to spread the information out in several categories. These categories were fighter movements, frigate movements, and failed / Accomplished missions. The battle itself had begun to show on his facial features, he is visibly tired. He rubbed his chin with his left hand and rested his right arm under his left to give support. A Warrant Officer ran up and saluted him. “Sir, reports are coming in, Asmodian Frigate line is finally beginning to break. Nypherian and cybernetic fighters have broken through on their last mission.” Vice Admiral Koff clenched his fist in joy, “Move the fleet, press the attack and prepare to land on the planet!”

The Nypherian fleet moved forward slowly and begun to open fire. Some of the turbo laser fire struck the debris field of destroyed ships. The rest of the fire had been directed towards the Asmodian ships. The moved through the “graveyard of ships”, pieces of burnt metal struck against the shields, they bounced off but sent a rippling effect on the shields. Sending waves around the ships. Once the Fleet had fought their way past the graveyard of ships, they began to send troops towards the planet and continued fighting the remaining the Asmodian fleet. The Mothership still lingered over the system.

New fleets broke from warp behind the Nypherian fleet that’s still engaging with the Asmodians. The new Synthetic Division had now begun operations within Abiri. The ships were of the new frigates within the Division, the BC 23DR Harrower Destroyer. There is a total of 20 of these frigates. There are also 10 other Nypherian Frigates amongst them. Within the ships, everyone is preparing for conflict. The lead officer, Colonel Dareb Natek, is looking over the operations. He walked through the halls and made it into the hangar of the ship. Nypherian Mech Units were all being prepared for launch. The MU Series 1 and 2 were all being prepared. Pilots ran to their assigned mech’s units. Cranes picked up specific units and placed them in front of the hangar bay. Each pilot ran towards their mech. A line dropped from the cockpit opening of the mech and stopped just 6 inches from the floor. At the end of the line, a foot rest was for each pilot. Each pilot would run up and place one foot on that rest and the line would take thm to their cockpit.

Each unit flew out of the hangar and towards the battle over the planet. “ This is Colonel Dareb Natek, I will be overlooking our first operations on Abiri. Our Division will bring Honor to the Empire. We will use technology against the Asmodians that they haven’t seen before. We will use this advantage and we will take the system of Abiri for the Empire. For the Senate, for the High Command, FOR THE EMPIRE!” he said on all coms within the Synthetic Division. MU series 1’s and 2’s flew out of the hangars of the Synthetic Division ships. The large swarm of MU units flew towards the combat over the planet. They all engaged their weapons and began to receive target updates.

The swarm of MU units began to break into many squads and begun to take orders from their Squad and Battalion leaders. Lieutenant Colonel Beta 313 and Captain Eligu Katogar were the lead battalion leaders. Each had orders to attack the enemy frigates and supporting ground troops landing on the planet.

On the ground, Nypherian forces had begun landing and setting up shop. Synthetic Division MU series had landed on the ground and began to open fire on the enemy. Asmodian forces raced to the landing zones and tried to force the Nypherians off the planet. The MU series, a new technology the Asmodians had never fought before, had kept them at bay. The powerful rounds from the MU series ripped through the Asmodian forces. Their ground troops became easy pickings for the MU Series. Nypherian ground troops and tanks begun to set up a beachhead, artillery and mortar weaponry had been placed. They had zeroed in on the Asmodian front line and began to pound their forces.

On the command ship, Vice Admiral Koff stood over the 3D map. His advisors also stood over as they looked at the Naval and Ground troop movement. They watched as they plan came into action, "I am very happy with how the Synthetic Division has given us the edge in this conflict." "Yes sir, Synthetic  Division technology is new to the Asmodians, they wont know how to handle it." Even with the Synthetic's help, he wondered what kind of enemy ground troops they had deployed.

The conflict within the valley had begun. Nypherian forces have set in motion that three battalion that consist of Nypherian 125^th, the 13^th Bravo, and 510^th Synthetic forces have begun to converge on Asmodian weapons platforms that have been built on the mountain ranges in front of the valley. A three-prong attack, striking the valley in three different sections, forcing the Asmodians to spread out their forces. These tactics are used to force the enemy to weaken their frontline defenses. Thus operation “Kings Trident” had begun. On the left, the 13^th Bravo had begun using tactics mixing Mortar fire, tank tactical maneuvers, and aggressive ground troop tactics.

The left flank had become engulfed in exchange in weapons fire. Each side had dug trenches and had armored vehicles. Nypherian and Cybernetic troops moved through the trenches, occasionally popping up and firing a few shots towards the enemy lines. Dirt and pieces of rock splashes all around the Nypherian trenches as they moved closer to the “No man’s land” that sits between both frontlines. Nypherian  M446A3 Ravagers slowly moved over the Nypherian Trenches, escorting 20 Nypherian troops that walked slowly behind the tanks. The Asmodian tanks rounds would either bounce off the Ravagers or strike them in the treads, forcing the Nypherian ground forces to stop and repair the damage treads.

The sky as well are engulfed in fire Black clouds of erupted from the AA units on the Asmodian side, firing at the Nypherian and Cybernetic fighters that are currently engaged with the Asmodian fighters. One Cybernetic fighter had snuck behind one of the Asmodian fighters. Firing off rounds, striking the board side of the fighter, it sent the Asmodian fighter into a spin. Smoke and fire billowed from the ship as it spun towards the ground, crashing just a few feet from the advancing Nypherians within the trenches. The Nypherian forces ducked down as pieces of metal and burning oil flew in every direction.

The war effort soon began to turn towards the side of the Nypherians. The left flank soon began to gain ground and the other war fronts were reporting all sides successfully pushing the Asmodians back. On the middle front, the Nypherians and Cybernetic Divisions were slowly pushing through the front lines of the Asmodians. With the failing space conflict above the planet and the reinforcements had been cut off, prevent the Asmodians from supplying their forces from the sky. The Nypherians could easily push through without worry. The ground conflict is as chaotic as the Space conflict. Ground forces engaged in combat within the local forest. The large expanding forest seemed to go on for miles but every few miles, clouds of smoke rose from the trees.

The exchange in plasma and magical fire crossed constantly between the frontlines within the forest. The brilliant flashes of color keep the dark forest bright. Through the sounds of conflict, the yelling of soldiers, and the sounds of Nypherian tanks crushing the trees while they pushed forward; it seemed like it would never end. The Nypherians slowly moved from tree to tree as the exchange in weapons fire continued, Nypherian tanks moved forward. They provided cover from the trees that slowly came apart from the constant weapons fire. A group of Nypherian Cybernetic soldiers had hunkered down behind a fallen tree. On the left a Nypherian tank, a Ravager, moved slowly and moved to the left to cover the Cybernetic Soldiers. The got up and moved behind the tank. The Asmodian Projectiles bounced off the armor of the tank. It fired its cannon towards the enemy lines. Sending large chunks of dirt and body parts in the air.

Vice Admiral Koff had finally gone over the end reports of the space conflict over the planet. “With the retreating Asmodian fleet, this gives us a firm grip on the planet. All that is left is to clean the surface of all Asmodian filth.” He said as he passed the paperwork containing the end results of the space conflict to his Warrant Officer. “Is there a chance of enemy reinforcements?” the Warrant Officer ask ashe placed away the documents. Koff only shook his head, “They won’t send in back up. Their strategy is different from ours, once they lose space control over a planet, they bail. More or less leaving the ground forces to die.” Koff said as he turned towards the map display of the planet. He began to send the messages to the leading Army officers on the ground and to the Synthetic Division of the update.

On the ground, the Asmodians were in full retreat as they pulled back towards the mountain range for their last line of defense. On these mountain ranges were three large bases. These structures had been constructed some time ago. Considering that they were only supposed to be HQ’s and not FOB “Forward Operation Bases”, they wouldn’t be able to withstand a full Nypherian Assault. Nypherian forces soon began to converge on the waypoints that had been assigned to all squads on the planet. Soon, the Asmodians will be surrounded and will have nowhere else to run.

The officers of the Synthetic Division and the Nypherian army were all discussing their next moves. They all surrounded the 3-D map of the land layout. Each mountain had been scanned and full details of the bases were presented on the scan. Grand General Kiera Ashek had been discussing their next plan of attack with Grand General Jim Vaknor. “We need to set up artillery from all sides and begin air raids on each of these bases. “ “Agreed, there are only a few possible routes for our troops to go up. The Asmodians have blocked off other routes and set up ambush points to slow our troops down. Air strikes and artillery would be an excellent choice in the matter.” Jim Vaknor said as he pointed towards the marked routes.

Grand General Kiera Ashek knew that the Synthetic ground troops would struggle with these new strategies the Asmodians were using. It would be careless to ignore these obvious Asmodian traps. “We will use our MU units to preform precise strikes on any AA batteries and possible artillery. We need the Artillery of the Army to strike the bases and make sure that they cannot kill our ground troops making their way up the mountains. We have to protect them at all costs!” Jim Vaknor listened to Kiera Ashek and nodded his head in agreement. He turned around and looked at Lieutenant General Savarax who had been standing behind him. “Send word to all troops of our plans. Get ready for our final assault.”

There is a total of 4 paths up these mountains, and three bases sitting on top. It had been a quite two days since the sounds of conflict had silenced. For the time being, each side had been planning their next move. Not far from the mountain ranges is the beach and from there, endless ocean. Beings in the water had been watching the conflict for some time. Beings that had been living in the water for millions of years before the Asmodians had come to the planet. Beings of the Ocean, watching and learning what they can of the two warring sides. The sun had slowly begun to rise over the ocean, splashing colors of red and orange all over the surface of the ocean. The sounds of conflict erupted in the distance again, balls of fire erupted along the mountain ranges in the distance.

The assault on the mountains had begun. Artillery had targeted the bases and fortifications that had been spotted the day before. The skies had now been covered with the smoke trails of missiles from the Tel 1A1 Tomahawk Plasma Missile placements that are 5 miles behind the Nypherian lines. The substantial number of missiles striking the mountains sent substantial numbers of tremors in every direction. The ground shook like an earthquake, but the smell and sounds of conflict told a separate story. Nypherian troops began to move through the mountain pathways towards the Asmodian bases that rested on the top of the mountain.

The routes had been slowed, even with the Artillery support. The four pathways that leads up to the three Asmodian bases had been put to a crawl. Weapons fire and grenades had been chucked from both sides. Explosions and clouds of dirt and smoke billowed from the sides of the mountains. The lead officer, Grand General Jim Vaknor watched from a distance through binoculars. "How are the casualties?" he asked his information officer. The man behind him glanced over the incoming data,"Very little. However, the Asmodians had pillboxes set up along the routes towards their base. Each route is heavily fortified and all battalions are requesting for armored and air support. Jim Vaknor removed the binoculars from his eyes as he bit his bottom lip.

"Granted, give the armored battalions to send in Ravagers and the XM3B's. We cannot send anything thing heavier as they cannot climb those mountains. We're going to have to make a path towards the top. I also want  bombers to carve a path on the opposite side of those mountains. We have to send in Armored Battalions to provide better support." he said as he never took his eyes off that mountain range. On the left flank, Ravager tanks slowly moved up and the XM3B's followed.

Dirt sprayed in every direction as the Nypherian soldiers slowly moved through the pathway towards the first Asmodian base. "We got 100 yards before the enemy base! We have to keep pushing up and removing any enemy resistance! For the Empire!" yelled the squad leader. A few grenades exploded on the sides of the pathway, sending dirt and rock in everywhere. The soldiers ducked down and were more or less "hugging" the ground, avoiding any extra grenades that had just been tossed at them. A Ravager tank slowly moved along side the trench that is leading up towards the entrance of the base. It halted and began to fire upon enemy positions.

A second Ravager slowly moved up the other side of the trench and also began to fire on enemy positions. Soon, Asmodians were being overwhelmed and pulled back behind their base defenses. Within 40 minutes, the Nypherian Military soon broke through two of the Asmodian bases and begun to sweep it "clean". Eliminating any and all resistance that had been picked up on scanners. Within one hour, flares had been shot up from two Asmodian bases, signalling that they had been taken.

Jim Vaknor waited as he stared hard at the mountain range. He hated the long wait to see if his tactics were going to work against the Asmodians. He soon began to pace back and forward. "Sir! Flares!!" one of the Cybernetic soldiers yelled. Jim stopped pacing and snapped towards the mountain. Indeed there is a flare but not just one, but two. He threw his fists in the air, "Alright! We finally have two out of three objectives. Now, what is the news on the last objective?" he said as he turned around to face the information officer.

On the last objective, the Asmodians were now being hit on both flanks. There are now two paths the Nypherians could now take to attack the Asmodians. The path way up the mountain had taken less fire due to the Nypherians attacking on the left flank through the other two bases. The bombers had soon carved a pathway for the heavier tanks to use and they could provide better support for the ground troops. Both of the Asmodian walls had been breached as they fell back to the last line of defense. The last line had heavy machine weaponry and mortars  placed to attack enemy troops outside the wall. Nypherian troops poured through the destroyed gates as they began to set up attacking positions.

"Heavy gunner on the left, what your heads!!" one of the Cybernetic Sergeant's yelled out as everyone ran behind cover. Magical bullets strike the pieces of equipment the Nypherians had hid behind. Every magical round exploded in a flash of blue light and leaving a smoldering burned mark upon impact.

More and more of these beings from the water appeared on the surface of the oceans. They came closer to the beaches as the sounds of conflict have been grabbing their attention. The original beings of the world that used to live on the surface before the Asmodian invasion, considered them Gods. They based that claim on how the ocean would glow whenever they would appear on the surface to meet the surface dwellers and how they could use the creatures of the ocean as their vehicles. The days before the Asmodian invasion, they vanished and never returned to the surface. The people of the surface saw this as the "End Times" and ironically enough they were correct.

The people of the ocean hid and listened to the sounds of conflict as the people died by the hands of the invaders. For months, they were able to easily hide form the invaders, and use technology to prevent them from entering the waters. This all changed once the Nypherians had shown up and begun their attack upon the invaders. Thus, they watched from the surface of the water. Like seals that would only break the surface of the water with the top part of their heads, they watched. Curious of who these other beings were. The water would dance as the waves crashed along the beaches and the people of the water would pop within the waters.

Silently, a Nypherian probe had been watching them and scanning them. All records of these beings heart rate and information had been secured on separate servers. Rear Admiral Melz Akeims ship broke from warp over the planet. "This is Rear Admiral Melz Akeim. I will be taking command of all operations for the Navy. Vice Admiral Koff will be returning to Iathea." she said over the coms. She paused as data streams of the beings within the water began pouring within the ships record data base. She looked at the information curiously. "There is someone native that is still alive..?"

Very soon, the Asmodians had been defeated. The last base had been fully taken. Soldiers walking around the last base, checking for any valuable resource. Second Lieutenant Marcus Flynn is the lead officer for the assault of the last Asmodian base. "Report confirmed, the Asmodians had a package. I repeat, Asmodians had a native seer captive." he said over the comms. "Actual confirms, alien seer located. Is this alien a native, over". The response had been almost instant from command. "Confirmed, the seer has told us that her people live within the waters. She had been captured as she had been a diplomat from the surface dwellers prior to Asmodian invasion. "Actually acknowledges. Standby." Flynn removed his hand from his ear as he had been ordered to wait. He wondered why they told him to simply standby when they could easily return the alien to the ocean.

He shook his head and all he could do now is wait. "This is Actual, Grand General Jim Vaknor has ordered you to return her to the Ocean. We have confirmed, I repeat confirmed reports of the aliens people watching us from the ocean." HQ said after a few minutes of silence. That had been what he had been waiting for, "Report, this is Second Lieutenant Marcus Flynn, we have orders to return the alien to the Ocean. Then, we will set up shop on the surface..." he had been cut off by comms channel opening up from HQ. "This is Actual to all Nypherian Forces. The High Command has issued an order to avoid the oceans. I repeat, avoid the oceans as there is intelligent life and a massive civilization under the waters. Only build on the surface" Flynn could only smirk as things have just gotten more interesting, they're going to share the planet.
