Defensive Korps of Sabaton, was born out of Militia, that orginazied itself into unified goverment of whatever colonies were left, what they created was a Military Republic, a form of goverment, where only those in miltary service are given citzenship, are able to hold office and can vote, civilians forfiet their right to vote in exchange for not being drafted . This law is actualy pretty new because at the start D.K.S would register every newborn into reserves, this was done because situation at the time was very unstable and govermnet needed a steady supply of soldiers, but overtime, as things just grinded to a standstill, this practice slowly faded away, the leaders of D.K.S Understood that offense was imposible so they focused on defense, this led to Soldiers dying slightly less which meant that not every newborn was registered. Now things are somwhat stable, though not peacefull by any measure, The Grand Enemy (As they call the Hive) often launches ofenisves against colonists, though the casualties were lower than ever before, still many people died a horrible deaths. Yet people of Sabaton never gave up, those constant battles turned them into very hard willed people, from whom notions of Fatherland,Patriotisim are something very tangible indeed, also they are chartirized by this grimm determiantion that pushes them toward living even though there aren't any real prospects for the future, other than volunteering for Military service.

There 2 main branches of D.K.S Military, first one is Frontline Division, this what you expect it to be, soldiers in this division are sent to the frontlines, there they have one simple mission: Do not let the enemy breach our lines of defense, Prety simple and easy to understand task, you mostly have to just point yor gun towards wave of the enemy that will come your way. Second division is Military police, it's dutys are to keep order in among civilian population, even though they are called "Military police".


As of this momment D.K.S only recruits those born on Sabaton, for obvious reasons
