it was quite late in the evening in the wastelands, this planet was vile and vicious, most likely the leftovers of a nuclear war, the people left on this planet were at war with eachother. of nature there was little trace, but she managed to install it herself. however, somehow the renegade empire tracked her down onto this planet, and they were stalking her. as soon as the sun has set and the ruined streets have been darkened to the point where visibility has dropped to low levels, soon sylvia walked past an alleyway and got grabbed and pulled in. "HELP-!" she manages to scream before getting dragged in the alleyway.

- Remind me why we are on this forgotten by good word planet. - Jane asked her bodyguard Volunteer as they were passing throughout the destroyed city streets with their whole team.
-To spread said good word among the people here. Not that we had a chance to do so in few days of our presence there... This planet so corrupted to it's core. - Soldier replied, keeping his rifle at low ready. It was a quiet night to be honest... Just few noises of wandering animal. 
But animals don't call for help.
- Girl's voice, few alleys away from there, Ma'am.


- Weapons ready, eyes opened. - She drawed her pistol from holster, while other soldiers - 5 in total - raised their rifles in combat positions. One of them made a quick hand move in air, and three Volunteers ran down the closest alley. Meanwhile Jane and rest of the team moved quickly forward, getting to the one side of alley that the voice came from. Another maneuver, and all the three has jumped out in entertrace, aiming at anyone that would be present.

- HANDS UP! - Jane shouted.

in the alley they stood, two men in a dark uniform and a young, pretty blonde girl. one of the two men had their pistol aimed at her head while the other aimed his rifle at jane and her men. "go away! this slave is being brought back to where she belongs." sylvia struggled and looked at jane. "please...help me..."

the men already proceeded to back up with the pistol still aimed at her head.

Jane stood in her place together with her men, all of them aiming at the dark characters. However, they were still, like waiting for something.
- I will repeat. Hands up and let the girl go, or you will meet your graves! - Jane shouted again, she had a hint of cold professionalism in her voice.

... Meanwhile, the three other soliders from the team that have surrounded the building, silently get to the alley from the other side. Stealthy boys, hah.

- You're outnumbered and have worse combat situation. I won't repeat for the third time.

the men did not ease up. "there is a bounty on this slave's head, she isnt worht anything and still we get 150,000 credits for bringing her in to her owners, being a slavehunter is so profitable..."
the one who held sylvia put his finger on the trigger, threatening to shoot her. "dont make me shoot her, we'd be missing out on a handsome bounty and we want that money." sylvia ressisted against the slave hunter. "please...you have no idea what they will do to me...dont bring me to them, i beg you."

- Slavehunters, kidnappers and probably murders. Yoy have set your fate already... Alfa, Disarm. - Short command, and dark guys would find themselves in situation where two other soldiers behind them were about to hit them with stocks of their rifles. Soon, both of men were laying down on ground unconscious, Volunteers looking down at them.
Jane putted back her pistol, walking closer to the girl.
- You're alright, girl? They haven't hurt you in physical mean? - She asked, looking at Sylvia's face, standing next to her.

she teared up. "no...they did not hurt me, it's just that im not safe anymore..." she wrapped her arms around janes neck and hugged her tightly, giving her a kiss on her cheek. "thank you, you have no idea what these fiends would have done to me if it werent for you..."

- Good, so we were on time. - She smirked gently, looking back at one of blue men. She was about to give an order to rhem, but sudden hug from just-saved girl kind of made it impossible.
- W-Woah! - She looked back down at Sylvia, soft blush emerged on kissed cheeks. She blinked few times, staring at the face of rescued one.
- It's... err... you're just lucky that I was around there... - She started, as one of her hands slowly wrapped begind Sylvia's arms. Her team was silent, only one of the Volunteers seemed to be keeping laugh inside of himself.
- Err... Yeah. So, would you like to explain why you're chased...?

she keeps her arms around her neck for several more seconds before letting go. she whiped the tears from her eyes and looked at jane. "eh, their race has enslaved mine over 3000 years ago. we have found help and we are free too, but they're still trying to catch us, and since im the royalty of the sun elves, they can use me for a sacrificial ritual...and that's why im never safe for them..."

Jane nodded softly in response, looking down at the laying two.
- Well, you're safe for now... Corporal. - One of Volunteers looked up at Jane, listening. - Take those two to the dropship. We will make use of those two later on... - And so, said corporal made a quick hand move, while other three soldiers got to the "bad guys", lifting them up, and walking away. Jane and Sylvia were alone now, excluding a bodyguard Volunteer if the first one...
- Well, may I propose you a bit if help? We fight will all kind of evil behaviours, while slavery and ritual sacrifices are in our top list. It will be pleasure to protect a noble blood like you, Ma'am... ? - She made a question tone in the last word.

she seemed relieved to hear that she is recieving help from this woman and smiled cutely at her. "well, i am in a faction, but it's complicated...but i guess i could have someone watching out for me, i have little friends anyway..." she brushed the hair out of her face and looked at jane. "the government of my home planet already destroyed their faction, but they still exist in the form of kidnappers, slavers and terrorists..."

- The Tower is chasing any sings of evil behaviours in order to fully destroy them. Even two lesser kidnappers are a step to better future. - She responded, turning around on her heel and walking away from the alley. - I'm actually surprised why a noble of a spiece is even present on planet like this. Come with me, we will discuss a bit during move. I want to get out of there as fast as possible...
The last bodyguard that stayed with Jane has waited for Sylvia patiently, and if she would decide to move with them, he would walk on end of line.

she followed jane closely, walking not behind but next to her, and each time jane looks at her, sylvia responds by cutely smiling back at her, she seemed like a very kind sweet person. and jane to her seemed like someone that could protect her from these misfits. "thanks, and yes i would like to get out of here...i crashed here a few months ago. and if you can help me leave, could you also take my animals with me...?"

Jane was giving back Sylvia's smile, in her opinion... she was actually a pretty person. Some kind of fantasy-tales elven spiece...
- Huh? Animals? - Jane was a bit confused, even to this point that she nearly stumbled on random from nearby destroyed building.
- I... believe that our holds can maintain a living cargo. Depends on it's size...

she stopped her from tripping on the by letting her stop walking and pointing down, she was slowly developing a likeness for jane, she was nicer than most people she met and admittedly she was pretty too. "yes, i have alot of pets but i think we can get them along...though if i tell barbs to be small, im sure he'll fit..." she says as she giggles awkwardly. "he's not here though...i'll call him later"

- Well, everything depends on it's size, Girl. - Jane replied, shrugging gently in the next second. She turned around a bit, making sure that the last Volunteer was still with them.
- Actually, what's your name, girl? I don't think that I have get it earlier... I'm Jane. Jane Sonett. And that guy behind us is Jefferson. - If Sylvia would look around, she would notice that Volunteer waved shortly with free hand.

she cutely waved back at the volunteer and then turned to janet again. "my name is sylvia, sylvia roothearth, former princess of the sunset isles, healer in the immortals and current....runaway slave from the renegade empire...nice to meet you, janet." she gave her a cute look of admiration sort of, to her janet seemed very though, she always envied people with the ability to resist damage.

It was a complete opposite - Jane was pretty much fragile person... but the truth is not important in this case - appearance was a bigger deal there. And opinion of rescued girl.
- Sylvia? I like this name. Reminds me of silk... I like this material. It's so nice in touch and actually pretty looking. Like you, actually. - An unintended compliment towards Sylvia, Jane didn't even notice that she made it... oh well, fate of merchant.

she blushes and giggles awkwardly, she'd be lying if she said she didnt hear it but decided to ignore it, it seemed like a slip from her anyway...she imagined she needed to show how big barbsy was if she wanted jane to help her. "eheh aww, thank you...oh! uhm let me show you the animal i need to bring with me...he's big, but not too big, my ship might be larger than yours and if you can repair it, you can have it. but for now, meet my barbed bear, barbsy" she whistles loudly, and at first it seems nothing happens, but then a large beast, approximatly the size of a rhino with long fangs, claws and spikes on it's spine charging to her, and like a dog it threw sylvia on the ground and enthusiastically licked her face, much like a big dogger.

- Eh? Why are you whistling? It responds to your voice like this? - She looked back at Sylvia, waiting for something to happen. A bit of time has passed, Jane was looking around with kind of impatience in her eye. She didn't like to wait much.
-Well, I don't see anything... Jefferson? What about you?

- No informations from other patrol teams. But I can hear that something's coming from no-- here it comes.
Indeed, a beast ran at them with quite a speed, putting Sylvia's down on the ground. Jane has jumped back, scared by the sudden appear of the... oversized dog.
- THIS is is Barbsy?! - She called out.

she giggles as the beast licks her face, it tickles to her and the beast itself seems to respond well to her because when she stops laughing, the beast steps back and sits down, again obedient like a large dog, meanwhile sylvia stands up and whipes everything of off her face with her cloak. "yes, this is barbsy...be nice to him, he's still a younging. isnt that right my little puppy." she hugs the beast's head, spewing more of this small talk at the beast who apparently did not mind it's master cuddling with it so much.

she turns around while the beast keeps pushing it's head against her, like animal hugs, though the beast was of course much stronger than sylvia and it pusched her over.

Jane just stared silently at... Barbsy, confused a bit. Jefferson was glancing with his eyes over the beast's body, with his rifle at low ready all the time.
- Big. Cargo Class should be able to take it, however. I will order preparations, if it's good with you, Ma'am.


- Go on, we will need a bit of space for it... him. Oversized doggy. - He smirked gently under her nose, while slowly shaking her head. She was about to turn around and continue on their way, but then Sylvia got pushed pretty hardly by her pet - and so, she landed in Jane's arms. She just looked down at her, with one of eyebrows lifted.
- You seems to like ending glued to me, don't ya? - She giggled quietly, letting Sylvia stand up once again.

she fell in janet's arms and upon getting caught while looking up, she quickly got a blush on her face as she hears the comment. in response she just nodded slightly, she didnt stand up on her own initiative but let janet stand her up. she brushed some dust of her armor and smiled at her cutely before following her to their ship.

Jane kept silent for rest of the way, just looking from time to time at Sylvia and her... puppy, to make sure that hey are still with her.

Not too long after, they would find themself next to the quite big drop-ship, two dozens of Volunteers walking around it, talking, guarding and such. Few of them looked in Jane's direction, and even with covered by helmets faces, it was quite simple to say that they were confused as well.

One of blue soldiers approached Jefferson, saluting.
- Sir, Cargo is ready for taking a Rich-- - Soldier looked at the beasts, and get speechless for a short while. - ... no. It will fit anyway.

sylvia was overjoyed to hear that her animals could stick around and led them to the cargo bay of the ship, after a few minutes on the ship her beast got wild and crazy, almost wrecking the contents in the cargo bay. fortunatly sylvia was around to calm the new beast. she apparently sang a song, much like a siren it didnt sound too bad (actually it was straight up enchanting) and the beast responded to it, slowly falling asleep and at the end of her song, all of her animals were fast asleep in their small placement.

after the beast fell asleep sylvia walked up to jane again, smiling brightly at her. "so...what happens now...?"
