| “...Why, am I still here?” staring blankly, drifting along slowly through the blue force. This is the ‘Time Stream’ a sustainable and an intelligent force of magic, but it’s not one to be easily controlled just by anyone. In this man’s case he was banished and sent to be forgotten through the Time Stream, as part of the Pantherian custom it is by law to be forgotten and sent away from existence so tribal peers will forget the subject who committed the crime or issue; and won't cause influence to the rest of its people, the cause; erasing the subject from its timeline. The lion like creature has been floating through this time stream for some time now, the amount is unknown, could be days, minutes, or possibly years. He questioned why he was still alive and wondered why his body and soul hasn’t perished and been forgotten like a hand full of dust through the wind. He was limited to his thoughts, the stream forbid anything outspoken without thought, talking about one’s past and or future could disrupt one’s time force and affect the rider’s past, present, or future if deemed worthy to abord.
Another quiet moment passed as a small rift tore into some body of water a blue glow arose to the surface, as it began to bubble, violently shooting the cat like creature through the tear, gasping for air his mouth is soon filled with water, the creature's eyes quickly dart to the surface scuffling to get a breath of air. His head broke the surface, gasping; trying to catch his breath “Where am I…?” touching his opened mouth with excitement, but in between gasps “...I-I can speak again.” puzzled he stared around in the darkness as he floated on the surface.

| The sound of something big breaking the surface made a smile play across Lineak's face. He had been trying his hand at fishing for some time. It was a method of hunting that was far different than what he was used to but it also had its similarities. The quiet peacefulness when you either hid in a blind or stalked your prey was similar to leaving that twine and hook in the water. The same anticiapaion of the kill when pulling the trigger or yanking to set the hook. What was so different was the prey fighting back and fightin back in such strange and unique ways. These fish were smart! Much smarter than he would have given them credit for, and that was the small ones.
A fish the size of the one he had just heard would be monstrous. His blood began pumping furiously at the thought of the battle he could have with such an adversary. His dreams were soon shattered though when on the wind he heard what he thought were words being uttered. From the water? He was certain nobody had been here when he arrived, he'd counted on that. With a small sigh of resignation he pulled his line from the water ignoring the nibble on the line as he did so. Whoever was in the water owed him dinner. |

| As the blue light began to dissipate from under him. The area was quiet tiny splashes from fish, songs of night animals communicated in the dark with one another, the lion flicked his wet ears as he smelled the air. Looking up towards the illuminated rock in the sky he was in awe at its beauty, along with the tiny speckles that shared it's moment in the sky. Snapping back to his situation, the creature looked for a bank he could rest on, his legs dragged on the shore as the light feeling transitioned into a heavy pull towards the ground as he left the water. The lion like creature wasn't used to the pull of gravity and using his legs for that matter after being stuck in that stream for who knows how long. As he threw himself onto the ground he began to breathe heavily and panicked, still wondering where he ended up. |

| No fish he had ever heard made that kind of noise Lineak was sure of it. He scanned the surface of the water and saw some strange cat hybrid fighting to get out of the water. He was sure that cats didn't like water, just as sure that dogs typically chased cats. Funny he wasn't overly interested in chasing this one. With a sigh he pocketed his coiled fishing line and strode towards the struggling feline.
Keep calm don't change. Keep calm don't change. The mantra went through his mind over and over again as he approached. The last thing he wanted was some big cat to attack him out of fear of his werewolf form. No, he would try and offer some help if needed in his human form it was better that way.
He got within twenty yards of the creature before calling out making sure not to startle it.
"Hello there. Do you need some help? I couldn't help but hear you having some trouble over there." |

| He began to cough up some more water, until he heard a voice through the dark, his ears flickered as he wiped sand and saliva off his chin. Inhaling another deep breath he listens in onto the voice freezing in his place; as footsteps wandered close to him.
"What do I do?" panicking to himself he stares back up into the sky in confusion "I don't fully understand what its saying to me." So out of fear the lion slips himself back into the water leaving a big sand trail leading to the shore, quickly holding his breath closing his eyes, and waits. |

| The strange creature must be incredibly shy Lineak thought to himself. Strange he thought it had used some sort of language earlier. It didn't appear to need his help though. With a grin he moved closer to the waters edge and uncoled his fishing line. He could only hope that the feline wouldn't scare all of the fish away.
The line entered the water and within moments Lineak begin feeling little nibbles. It was amazing what the fish around here went for. This particular bait was a particularly oderous piece of moldy cheese he had found. With a yank he set the hook on a fish who had nibbled just a bit too hard to be exploratory. He slowly began working the fish to the surface surprised by the lack of fight in this one. It wasn't even a challenge really, but then again it was a small fish. He plucked it from the water, took the hook from its mouth and then bit the head off before munching away on the rest bones and all. With blood running down his face and off of his hands he calmly rebaited the hook and threw it back in the water. |

| Running short of breath in water wasn't something he was used to nor having it be so close to land, making multiple attempts to breathe it in only to choke an gag under the surface, quickly jerking his head out of the water and his arms flailed through the air and gasped for another breath. Water flicked all over soaking the curious man in the process, the lion like creature gripped the shore edge with his clawed hands reassuring himself that he was somewhat okay.
His head dangled down as water dripped from his mane, on all fours he slightly turned his head, noticing the fisherman in the moonlight once again. Sighing softly he turned his head back towards the ground, unsure if this newfound creature was going to melt him, turn him inside out, or worse. "Ti od tsuj daeha og. Won ti dne ot retteb s'ti hguone gnol dehsinup neeb ev'i kciuq ti ekam tsuj tub." As he muttered softly to the man, awaiting for his fate. |

| The strange creature came bursting to the surface sputtering and Lineak frowned down at it. The least it could do was not disturb the fish. One small fish was hardly a full meal. Then there was the jibberish that came out of the creature's mouth. It was clearly language of some kind, but strange. The bite on the end of his line broke his observations and he quickly reeled in the fish on the end, doing so took only a moment.
He returned his gaze to the struggling feline. Fish in hand he approached it cautiously.
"Hey there buddy I'm not going to hurt you. Just want to make sure you're ok. You hungry? I've got a fish here, doesn't get any fresher than this."
He wasn't sure the feline would understand the languag but he'd been around enough farm animals to know that I soothing tone, and food, went a long way. He hoped this giant cat would be similarly inclined. Although with sentient beings he had found anything was possible. |

| Tempted, the feline quickly shook his mane; water flung from the hairs. His tight grip of the sand was released as he leaned up towards the human, noticing what it seems to him a friendly gesture. Of course Pantherians' took this to note on new ones that come to cross their path or vise-versa. The lion like creature's stomach began to tremble at the smell of it, staring at the moonlight that reflected off it's scales, and calmly pulls the fish from the fisher's hand. Inclined his ears pull back and his teeth quickly sink into the top of the fish, the only noise that was heard was the mashing of the fish flesh between his muzzle and the sounds of night animals, foreign to his ears.
All that was left of the fish was the bones, only to eat everything the held the fish up both inside and out. Blood caked outside his muzzle and whiskers, lapping at his lips to get anything he missed. "Regnarts sknaht ym evah uoy. Erutseg dnik ruoy etaicerppa." nodding in the dark giving a slight smile towards the stranger, showing his mood was a little more at ease in this foreign world. |

| Well it was a language of some kind he figured. What was being said he couldn't even begin to fathom although ithe body languange didn't apprear to be hostile at this point. It was almost friendly. Friendly and trying to communicate it was a start so Lineak did what he thought best. He patted his chest and slowly began speaking, "Lineak. Li nee ack"
He hoped the gesture was the correct one. Telling the stranger his name was perhaps the best way to give him glimpse of his language. Lineak assumed the stranger was male but having never seen a beast of this kind before, well he'd been wrong before. The thought brought a small grin to his face as he remembered his father having him milk a bull back on the family farm. Not funny that prank. |

| “Li-nee, ack?” The Pantherian repeats the words spoken to him, then chuckles to himself as the stranger begins to point and pat at himself, still pronouncing his name to the feline. The gesture he was familiar with on his planet was a gesture of pregnancy and or mating depending on the gender. Which made him chuckle because he wasn’t familiar with the gestures here, “Ruoy tnangerp?” smiling back at the man he just couldn’t help himself but laugh.
“Ah llew I emussa ruoy elamef dna taht si eht eman fo ruoy dlihc? I etalutargnoc no ruoy ycnangerp erutaerc.” Nodding in approval, he kindly leans in patting Lineak’s stomach with his large paw. Backing up the lion nods holding his arms leveling them with his head, then fans them out to his waist, finishing off with a short bow. “Na ronoh ot teem ruoy dlihc, I flesym ma Azlo, gnirpsffo fo eht snairehtnap fo Htrae, llahs I evah ruoy eltit?” Inclined to hear what the man has further to say, still returning a polite grin. |

| The feline was laughing after pronouncing his name. If that wasn't odd enough next came the belly pat. The face of the feline was still cordial almost jovial but Lineak would be damned if he could figure out what the beast was doing. He strained to hear what the creature was saying trying to make some sort of sense of the language.
"I hope I'm reading you right. You're mistaken. I'm a man and my name is Lineak."
How to get that particular point accross? He could always lower his pants but that was out of the question. No there had to be a better way. He swore in frustration before grinning. He went to the water's edge picking up a piece of drift wood as he did. he quickly drew a stick figure of a man in the sand. Pointing at it with the stick, "Lineak". He drew yet another stick figure this time with an exaggerated mane. Pointing at it with the stick he turned to the creature questioningly. |

| Azlo winced as he grabbed the piece of wood with the tiny figures carved into it, turning into the moonlight he gets a better idea on what the man was trying to interpret. “Ah! A male! That's what you are. My deepest apologies.” Nodding his head signalling his apology, the Pantherian stops and cocks his head locking his sight on the stick figure, he chuckles once more and turns his head back to Lineak. “I...I, a-m, Azlo.” Remembering how the man phased his sentence he tries to describe himself in the same way, pointing his clawed finger to the drawing as he stares back repeating his sentence, understanding what the man was trying to get to him; he hands him back the driftwood. |

| Lineak was impressed Azlo had somehow deciphered the language very, very quickly. He hoped that now conversing with the strange creature would be a bit easier. Looking at the soaked coat of the feline he chuckled quietly.
"Hello Azlo parden my ignorance but don't cats hate water? I'm curious what made you get in as well as how you got there to begin with. I've been fishing here for hours without any distractions to disturb the fish. Then you show up out of nowhere. How is that?"
Without waiting for an answer he threw his fishing line back into the water and sat down. The fellow seemed friendly enough. A belly full of fish couldn't hurt build a relationship either. Keeping one eye on the feline he continued watching the calm surface of the water with the other. |
