Meeting the drunk wizard had definitely been interesting if nothing else, he wasn't sure that he'd really learned much from the impromptu lesson but it had added some excitement. The issue however had been that he was still on a space station and he had absolutely no idea what to do. He was not at all familiar with space nor what anything was up here, he was surrounded by people with assortments of strange weapons and powers that in this sort of station could attempt to kill or steal from him any time they pleased.
Luckily enough it had been easy enough for him to get a room at what appeared to be the space equivalent of an inn, and even in space they still had beds. Things in a room apparently were the same whether you were in a low tech inn or what he'd consider stupidly space techy. What surprised him most were the lights, touching a small button on the wall would light up or darken his room instantly, how had he gotten by on candles for so long when something like this existed. The light seemed to be coming from some panels in the ceiling, they looked like large ceiling mounted lantern panes but inside there were only small glass shapes with metal inside them, where was the candle and wick? How they made light like this he had no idea, but he was glad for it as it was just so much better. He'd have to get some of these to take on his travels, they couldn't be everywhere and they were to useful not to have, maybe a smaller version was what he needed though.
Once he was done examining the lighting however he left the room, he needed to get an accurate idea of his surroundings, it was the best way to survive he'd found if you knew all the entrances and exits as well as the more and less dangerous spots.
