The Imperium's ark was escorted by seven massive transport frigates,these frigates carried technologies,weapons and individuals deemed to dangerous to be stored on the ark itself.But when the wormhole collapsed these frigates drifted off course meaning they did not crash upon New Serpentum like the ark.

This is a major concern in the Imperium as these weapons and technologies could fall into the wrong hands.Grand Imperator Zorbek made it the top concern of the field agents to survey planets and systems for any signs of these lost Varanus ships.

Lost Frigate:

One of these ships contained the Arch-4 Wormhole Gate that the Imperium wishes to use to establish a gateway to their destroyed galaxy,for their curiosity and to save anyone still left behind.Another contained dangerous foes such as the remnants of the Flikr Hive.While others contained vital pieces of the Star Cannon.The same cannon the Imperium vowed to never use in fear of destroying their newfound home.

The Imperium had no idea how these ships would affect the worlds they crashed upon or how local Zodarrin would react.They hoped the frigates automatic security would deter explorers.The Imperium also offers large sums of credits for any information regarding such craft as well as to seal the lips of those who found it.

The Imperium was willing to kill in order to find these ships and their dangerous cargo before it would be misued by other forces.That is if these ships are even in the Milky way......

Some scholars debate that these ships may have crashed in different times then the Ark did due to the complexities of wormhole travel.
