Marudon was confused at the sight of this root but figured that Sapphire knows what she was doing and did what she asked. The tea finally finished brewing and he grabbed some cups to put it in, "This smells good" Says Marudon while setting up the plates and handing Sapphire her tea and her share of the meat. "This is good." Says marudon while sipping the tea and eating the meat. As he finishes up his food, he looks over at the flowers and thought, "Should I do it? then again she doesn't look like the type who likes this kind of stuff. Ugh this is frustrating."

she ate her shear and sipped her tea. "the meat tastes just as good as it smells. Definitely out ranks my cooking and cafeteria food" was she making him nervous she thought as she noticed he was sweating. and started looking as if that were the case. "I'm glad you liked it. my dad showed it to me when I was little." she smiled than went quiet. she remembered trying to eat the leaves and her dad telling her only the root can be eaten.

Marudon smiled and said, "Thanks, I'm glad you liked it." He was still contemplating on whether or not He would give her the flowers. An awkward silence then ensues, so he takes the opportunity to do it. He grabbed the flowers and says, "So, when you gave me the spice to cook, you also handed me these flowers." His hands started to shake a bit, "I didn't take these to cook with, I wanted to gave these to you." he paused for a second, his usual swagger and confidence is are replaced with total anxiety, "Well you have been very kind to me and I really enjoy your company, so I thought that these would be a nice gift to you." He smiles awkwardly and nervously waits for a response.

she smiled "Thank you. there nice." she smelled them. She lowered them to her lap. She was quit for a second. She could not remember ever getting a gift and it was sweet. She will press them if she finds a book to do so. It got quiet again and she started to notice. She looked at him. "Could you teach me how to use the Pyrokinesis thing tomorrow? or at least some of it. I have wanted to learn it but with the way the UNSC has been lately it has been way to dangerous." she hopped the silence would stop and the talking may start back up.

"uhm yeah sure." Marudon replied smiling, happy that Sapphire liked the gift. He sat closer to sapphire, "I really like you sapphire. I enjoyed having you around here and you are probably the first human who was ever nice to me." He held her hand and was blushing hard but due to his red skin she wouldn't have noticed. "I feel that there is a connection between us a.. and I just love having you around." Marudon looks her in the eyes, confused on what else to say, and just waiting for some sort of reaction.

Sapphire started blushing as he held her hand and talked. She was at a loss of words. he wanted her to stay hear on this planet in his cave with him. she spoke "Its been nice and I like it hear. I like you to but. but" she pulled her hand away and put it in her lap as she looked at the table. "I cant stay I half to get Rims tag back to her brother. and the UNSC and.." she trilled off as she started to fill bad. She wanted to stay but knew she could not.

"Right," Marudon said in disappointment, "I understand. Although I wasn't going to ask you to stay here, this is just my temporary place." Marudon started walking around the cave. "I've always been a wanderer, always travelling from one place to the next, it gets lonely wandering space by myself, with no place to call my own." stop right in front of sapphire and looks at her in the eye, "Just thought having someone there would be nice." He stops and waits for a minute before saying "But I understand that you have to go. Tomorrow I'll teach you what I know about how to control fire and if I'm not mistaken, your ship should be ready tomorrow. Better get a good night sleep, we have a long day tomorrow." He then steps out of the cave and starts hacking away at a nearby tree, releasing all of his frustrations in one go.

She watched him leave the cave. She wanted to fallow but knew it was best to let him go. She got the plates and washed them than put them up. She thought of what he said that he is always moving from place to place always traveling. She placed the flowers in her pack than made her bed. She would not be adding danger to the demon if she goes with him. Actually they would make each other safer. 

She walked out of the cave to find Marudon. who did not go far. He was whacking at a tree near the trees entrance. She stopped than looked at the ground. "Marudon," she posed a second than said "ill come back once I get the Rims tag back to her brother. If you'll be hear and still want me to" she whited for a reply.

As Sapphire finished talking, the tree marudon was hacking at finally fell and Marudon set it on fire with a little spark. "Well this is going to be a warm night." He says while looking at the embers flying up to the sky, he then turns towards Sapphire and walks towards her, "Now to answer your question, would I wait for you? Yes, I think I would. But I am getting bored of this planet and I'm thinking of heading off to a new planet after we are done here." He then grabs Sapphire by the arm and pulls her in, "You are the first being who has been kind to me and actually likes my company. And I very much enjoy having you with me." His hand slowly goes up her arm and touches her face, "You look very beautiful in the moonlight."

She watched the tree catch flame. it was bright and worm. "Then ill meat you there on the new planet in 2 weeks. than you and me will be together." she put her hand on his as she looked in his eyes. She smiled. The light danced in his eyes.  She started blushing again.

For the first time in a long time, Marudon smiled genuinely. The thought of having someone by his side excited him and thought that he wasn't going to be alone anymore. "Yeah, that sounds great." Marudon said with baited breath. His hand holding her face as he looked deeply in her eyes, he leans in closer to her face and kissed her softly. Time had seemed to for a moment as the two locked lips, the crackle of the fire went silent, and everything else in the didn't seem to matter other than what they are doing right now. Marudon can feel within himself that he has changed, even if it's just a little.

Her hart pounded as there lips locked. She has never kissed before not even a peck. She leaned into him. All her worries and fears washed away. She did not want the moment to end. She eventually pulled away and smiled.

Sapphire quickly went to bed. it took awhile for her to clear her mind and go to sleep. Her sleep was dreamless but deep. she awoke and looked around. She had awaken first this time and quickly made her bed before putting her weapons on and leaving the cave. the sky was still dark but it was starting to get light.

She stretched a bit than walked to the ashes of the tree. she took her staff and made it full length than took stance. She went threw her usual expertise and got lost in it. It faded to a dance as the sky turned red and orange. She was lost in her thoughts and in the dance. She let all else fade into nothing.

As the night passes by, Marudon's mind was still in the clouds, he didn't get much sleep until it was nearly morning. He spent his night thinking about is happening to him and looking over at sapphire she slept, "Wow," Marudon thought, "This is so surreal." After about an hour of contemplation, Marudon fell into a deep slumber. 

After only getting a few hours of sleep, Marudon was awokened to the sight of an empty bed where Sapphire was. He panicked thinking the worst must've happened while slept, He quickly grabbed his sword and rushed outside of the cave, only to be greeted by a most beautiful sight. Sapphire wasn't taken from him, she was displaying a most elegant and most beautiful dance with her staff over by the charred remains of the tree. "Good morning," Marudon called out to her, smiling, "Seems you have been busy while I slept." He walks out to meet her, "You're up pretty early today?"

She finished the dance as she herd Marudon's voice. it startled her but she quickly realized who it was. She smiled seeing his face. "Morning sleepy head." she said as she left the ashes. "I guess it is a bit early. How long have you been watching" she was a bit shy at the thought of being watched.

Marudon walks over to her and grabs sapphire by the waist, feeling rather bold, "Not long, " he said smiling at her, "I just woke up a few minutes ago." grabs your hand and makes it warm with a tiny flame in our hands, "so you want to learn how to do this huh?"

She quickly put her staff up before she was grabbed. She was relieved that he has not seen much of her practice. her hand started getting worm so she looked as he asked the question. She smiled as she looked back into his eyes. "yea. That would be nice"

He then puts her hand face up on his, "Try and focus on the flame appearing in your hand, the warmth of it emmanating toward you, and the bright orange light."

She looked at her open palm. She did as instructed. at first nothing happened. she closed her eyes and focused on the warmth of the fire. she opened her eyes and found that a small flame danced in her hand. "Like that?"

"That's a good start." He said in a cool voice, even though he is actually very proud of her, He takes the flame from her hand, "Now this may not look like much but this is where it all starts." He then starts to juggle the flame, making it bigger and smaller, showing a respectable amount of control over it, "but with time you'll get better. The key here is to focus and visualizing the flame to be more powerful." He then extinguishes the flame.

She watched him take the flame and change its size. he than put it out. "So focuses?" she relit her hand and thought of making the flame bigger. it got bigger than she wonted. she willed it smaller and it went out. She frowned and tried again. She lit the flame and willed it a bit bigger than smaller. the flame did it this time. She smiled as she put it out.

Surprised at how quickly she improved, Marudon embraced her, "That was great." He said with joy, "I am so proud of you." he looks into her eyes and sees some who he might spend a long time with, he leans in over to kiss her.

Sapphire was glad to have made the flame work and was surprised that she had actually impressed a demon. She was excited about learning her gift and her blood was still pumping from the dance. She smiled as he drew her in. She gave him a quick kiss and pulled away ready for the next step. "I have a lot to learn but I have played with fire before. so what is next?"

Marudon steps back and goes in between some trees, "Now Fireballs." He conjures up a ball of fire in his hands, "Try to imagine a more solid form of fire. If you are able to get it right." He throws the fireball backwards, "You are able to throw it like a ball. Now try to summon a fireball and throw it at me."
