She watched as he walked around. He was well vigilant and aware witch was good on his part. Corse   Then he walked under her tree and she jumped off hoping to land on him and pin him to the ground.

He was caught of guard by sapphire jumping of the tree, the initial drop didnt make him fall down but as they struggle sapphire managed to pin Marudon to ground while she sits on top of him," Well?" He said with a smirk on his face, "What do you intend to do now?" taking advantage of this awkward situation that they are in.

She managed to pin him down witch made her laugh. "See i can handle my self with out help." she smiled as he asked the question. "I was debating on beating you up. But looks like I win either way. so you yield" if he sayed no she would punch him for a bit if yes she would get up and find a place to rest for a bit.

"Alright, alright." Marudon said with a slight laugh, "I surrender." as he was enjoying the situation he was currently in, he was disappointed when sapphire decided to stand up and walk off. The wind started to pick up, rustling the trees, and day light is running out, they both decided to head back to the cave and rest for a while. Marudon then prepares a small fire in the middle of the cave and started to cook a meal for the both of them, he didn't have much so he cooked some meat that he stole from the market and some water. 

There was a warm atmosphere is permeating through the cave as Sapphire patiently watches Marudon attempting to cook a decent meal, this warmth is something that Marudon has forgotten ever since his parents died, he was always on his own and generally distrust the people around him but in that moment in time he felt at peace for a short while. Dinner has finally been served and both of them eat up the meat and sit by the warmth of the fire, when they had finished eating Marudon started asking Sapphire a question, "So, what's your story? I mean obviously you know how to fight and that you came here in your ship but I have feeling that there is something more to you, isn't there?" He patiently wait for an answer but he wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't want to talk about it.

Sapphire watched him cook the meal glad to have the rest. Once the meat was done she eat. "My story." She thought for a bit on how she was going to present it. "I never new my mom. And my Dad was high up in the UNSC tell he died a few years ago. So you could call me a army brat. I can fly any ship and known how to fight and shoot a gun since I was 3. I went to the Academy the year my dad died. I was top of my class, and that should sum it up." She said with no regret. "So whats your story?" she was curious about it but knew it would be a bit different than hers.

"Heh," he said with a half smile, "well where do I start?" He starts to think back on his life, trying to figure out how much he wants to reveal. "Well I was abandoned as child, My parents were soldiers and they were called to war, I never knew what happened to them but I think it is safe to assume that they are dead. After that my life has turned to a constant battlefield, everyday I am met with scorn and disgust all due to who I am..... a demon." He looks at his reflection on the shallow pool of water at his feet, feelings of self-hatred started to loom from inside of himself, he quickly stomped on the pool of water and pure anger is written clearly on his face, "All because of the demonic crusade, my life has been a living hell, no matter where I go, I am met with nothing but scorn and hatred all because of something that I didn't do!" He yelled at the top of his lungs and after which puts his face on his hands.

After a brief moment of awkward silence, Marudon starts to speak again, "Which makes me wonder? Why are you not afraid of me? most setient beings that I have encountered either tried to kill or fear me to the point of not even looking at me, why are you so calm conversing with a being that is known bring destruction to those around them?" He looks at Sapphire dead in the eye.

Sapphire thought for a bit on his past and question. It was a horrid fate not being able to control how others think of you. She had hid the fact that she had abilities all her life cause she knew they would lock her up if the new. but than again she could hide that but he could not. "You did not seam all that bad. And you offered to help me." she said in a calm voice that showed thought. "That and I know that a few can rein a name. Truthfully you are the only living being that knows of my powers."

There was a feeling a warmth and concern in sapphire's voice, emotions that were foreign for Marudon. All of his life people have talked to him with nothing but scorn and fear, if they even talked to him at all, sometimes those moments of hatred were broken with a stranger's pity. He wondered to himself, "Why? Why did I tell so much to human girl about my past?" He was confused and at a lost for words, he didn't know how to react to all the kindness Sapphire was showing to him. He then stood up and said, "It's getting late," He walked towards the mouth of the cave and closed it off with a large piece of cloth, "I.... thank you for the kind word and for trusting me with your secret, but I think it is about time we both get some rest." He took out a couple of blankets and pillows and gives them to Sapphire, "Hope this would suffice for a bed for now." He then walks to back of the cave by a small hole on the wall and started to doze off. In the back of his mind he thought, "so far this has been very interesting, I wonder what tomorrow will bring."

She nodded it was getting late and she was getting tired. "They'll work just fine. Good Night." She took the sleeping material and made a place to sleep agents the wall of the cave. she got in and tried to fall asleep. it took a wile for her day to stop running threw her head but she eventually fell asleep. her sleep was not the deepest and she would be easily awoken but she was glad to have the rest.

The night passed by quickly, Marudon didn't get much sleep as he has some things on his mind but he decided to get up early and try out his new blaster. He takes out the blaster from his pack and as he walks out the cave, he looks back at sapphire, who was sleeping peacefully on the walls of the cave, and smiled at the fact that there was someone there who seemed to trust him. He walked outside and set up a shooting range for himself, he moves 5 meters from a line of trees and tries to shoot the targets he painted on them but again he was impressed at how bad he is at this. He continues to practice until sapphire wakes up.

The sounds of a gun awoke Sapphire. Startled she got up than realized that she was in the cave. she looked to see if her friend was in the back of the cave but he was not there. she herd another shot and jumped. She ran to the table and put her weapons on. She caulked her gun and left the cave. She held her gun pointed at the ground as she went to save Marudon. than she saw that it was he that was shooting the gun and smiled relieved that nothing bad was happening. 

She stopped and watched him fire. Seeing that he had not yet hit the target she amid her gun and waited for him to try again. She shot as he did and the target was hit. she than put her gun away and giggled. "Gezz Next time worn a girl before disappearing and shooting at stuff. Gave me a hart attack." she said in a serious voice as she approached him.

"Haha," He exclaimed, "Wow I was beaten by you yesterday and now you showed me up at the shooting range, did you came into my life just to show how terrible I am." He says with a grin on his face, He looks to sapphire and takes a minute to relish the fact that for this moment he was not alone. But that moment was cut off when he noticed the look of confusion on her face and quickly changes says, "So when is your ship going to be done? Was it damaged that badly?" He says trying to avoid more awkwardness.

"I was trying to give you confidence make you think you hit the target." she looked at the ground. "It was scattered in 3 deferent peaces so It will be a bit tell it will be fixed. I was told 3 days." She Smiled. and looked at him. "And your holding the gun wrong if your trying to hit the target. I can teach you how to shoot the thing in exchange for another night." She smiled hoping he would except the offer. hoping to teach him the skill.

He adjusts his hand and starts to shoot again, this time he hit the target more often but still missing it a few times, "Wow," He amazes himself, "That worked. Well honestly I only picked up this gun only as a back up if I need," But he looks at the numerous burn marks of the trees surrounding the target area, realizing how bad he truly is, "But then again having better aim than this would be nice, sure sounds like a fair deal." Even though Marudon would've let her stay pro-bono.

He took her word and tried to hit the tree. he did a few times than answered her question. "yea you might want to know how to use your back up." she giggled.

She smiled then took her gun. "Watch. Take stance. point with both eyes open. Breath out and pull the trigger." She than shot the gun. stepped back and let him have a chance to shoot. She immediately corrected his stance and pointed at the target. she stepped back. and watched his face and gun. this may take a bit but it would be fun.

Marudon fixes his hand and stance, His aim starts to get better. The practice session has been going on till noon, Marudon has improved a bit but he is still not the best shooter in the galaxy. Marudon savored every single second of the training, just having sapphire by his side has given him a renewed sense of vigor and purpose. The training session was cut short due to them hearing an odd sound, coming from their stomach. "Ouh." Marudon exclaimed, "I'm starting to get hungry, do you want to eat sapphire?" she nods in agreement, but as they went back to the cave they noticed that they have ran out of food. Marudon tells sapphire that he thinks their is a nearby forest that is filled with wild animals and that he thinks they should hunt.

They made their way to the forest, the trees were tall and numerous, it was easy to get lost in there. Marudon was leading the way around but they have yet to found any sort of food, "Wow," Marudon says, "I could've sworn that I saw a few animals running about. Do you have any other ideas where to get some food, sapphire?"

Sapphire took note as they walked in the woods. "Well there is a lot of wild eatables in this aria." The tracks were old and there was little to know sign of life besides the trees. She stopped. "What kind of animals live in this aria?" she asked as she saw and pointed to where a tree had been slapped with a spoked tail or something of that sort. She pulled out her gun and looked at the ground. A fight of some sort had taken place a few hours ago. "This is not that old. And look at the ground there was a fight of some kind witch would explain the lack of animals."

"Well," Says Marudon, "The beast that I saw was dog-like in nature, has a large body with long tail, it was covered with a fur coat that is blue in color." Marudon then follows sapphire as she tracks down the beast. An hour had passed and they were deep in the forest when they finally found the beast. Marudon was not familiar with the fauna of this planet so he can distinct what the beast was. The beast was found slightly wounded but still standing, devouring what seems to be a similarly sized creature.

"Guess we found lunch" she whispered and pulled out her stun gun. she had never seen anything like it before in her life. She amid and fired. it hit and the creature screamed but did not fall. "your turn" she said as she started to clime the tree. He fired and hit the animal. It fell away from them on to its side. she switched to her other gun as she sat on the limb and started to shoot. She watched as it stopped moving. she jumped from the tree and ran at the seemingly dead animal. her knife was ready to first cut out out its hart.

"wait what?" Marudon said in confusion as the beast charges towards him, He then shoots the beast. Marudon looks around noticing that Sapphire was missing, only to then realize that she was up on the tree, shot the beast once more, and it fell down. "Gesh, warn a guy next when you are going to let a beast running towards will you!", Sapphire then proceeds to cut up the beast and asked Marudon to help carry dinner back to the cave.

Sapphire laughed at his comment. "Was the Beasty to much for ya?" She said as she cut the meat. The walk was a long one to the cave but it was ok. she put up her bed than cut the meat in cook able sizes. than sat agent the wall.

"Well what was I supposed to do when unleashed a charging beast at me?" Marudon yelled. As they made their way back, Marudon picked up some flowers on the way back and puts them in his back pack. Marudon started a fire to cook with as soon as they get to the cave and when Sapphire finished cutting up the meat, marudon started to cook. They food looks a little bland so marudon had an idea, "Hey Sapphire," Marudon called out, "Can you get some spices from my backpack? I think I can make this meat tastier."

She grabbed his pack and looked for the plants. finding them she pulled them out and handed them to him and put the pack back. "ill be back in a bit." she said as she left the cave. She looked for the plant with 3 different leaf patterns. Seeing the young tree with the glove shaped leaf and kneelt down. She quickly started digging up the root. it took a second to dig the root up but she was glad to have it. She cut the root in half and planted the part attached to the tree.

She took the root to a stream and washed it off, took the bark off than walked to the cave. "You have a pot to boil some water in? I got something I want you to try." she placed it on a rock and beat it up a bit.

Marudon takes the plants that Sapphire gave to him. When he looks at it, he noticed that some of it was the flowers that he picked up, "Guess she didn't noticed." He thought to himself while continuing to cook while setting the flowers aside. "Sure thing." He said in response to sapphire leaving, the meat started to cook pretty well and the smell is so enticing. He just finished cooking it when sapphire came back and asked Marudon for an request, "Yeah I have a pot, What exactly are you planning?" He said while putting the food and flowers aside.

She handed the crushed up root to him. "Its called sassafras. you boil it into a tea. it was one of my favorites when I was young." the smell of meat filled the room. it was an amazing smell witch made her stomach growl. "the food smells good"
