The space began to twist and warp within the system of Xouliv. A small fleet of Nypherian ships appeared over the system. The streams of energy flowed off their ships as the engines began to cool off. Within one of the ships, Vice Admiral Koff stood within and looked over the systems 3D map. "Where is Xouliv?" he asked on of the Warrant Officers. Everyone else is also confused as not just four days ago, it was here. The only thing that was left of the planet were large pieces of rock. Koff had begun going over scenarios of what could have happened. Either way, it didn't matter now. He turned off the simulator and walked over to the screening that showed the now destroyed Xouliv. "Change of plans, begin operation Hidden Code." Koff had said to the team. More ships appeared around his ship and they began to build a station. This station is to be built within the ruins of the destroyed planet. The ships moved towards the planet and began to harvest matter from pieces of rock that weren't needed in this project. The larger pieces were then placed together and a station began to form within the rubble.

         The station began to grow from the pieces of large planet rock. The size of station began to grow and grow. The material beams help speed it up but its still a slow process. Orders had been given out to the Army and Navy Warrant Officers to report to the new station Xouliv. Grand Admiral Koff stood over and watched the growth of the station. Many more fleets moved into position to guard the building of the station and other things that were considered topic secret. Battle stations and communication stations were also being built around the main station.

Zanya stared out the window of the Nypherian cruiser she was aboard. She hadn't seen any action since the recent invasion of Ithaea, even though she had already been promoted and given command of many warrant officers stationed throughout the small fleet, it didn't feel right. She wanted to be back on the battlefield, ripping apart asmodians or any other enemy of the Nypherian Empire.

Today she was supposed to be commanding a contingent of warrant officers in taking over yet another planet for the empire. There was one problem, however. There wasn't a planet. Instead, two giant rocks vaguely resembling halves of a planet floated in it's place. Apparently this called for a different operation. One not of taking over a planet, but rather that of converting the entire planet into a giant station. She watched as the station slowly took form. Despite this, she couldn't help but wonder what kind of monster had the power to destroy an entire planet and split it in half.

The station grew and grew until it was finally done. The size of the station is massive. It rivalled the size of Vermire but it had a few things that stood out. The very first things that stood out is the massive military presence. The amount of battle satellites, naval ships, and sensors that were all around the station. It gave hint to something more secretive within the new station. Zanya’s fleet slowly entered the station and docked. Her crew walked out and they noticed another thing. There are no civilian’s arounds. There is only military personal on this station. When they reached the end of the bridge from their ships, there is someone waiting for them. Vice Admiral Koff had been waiting and he waved to the oncoming crew. “Greetings everyone. Welcome to Station Xouliv. This is strictly a military station and there will be no civilians here at all. Now if you all follow me, I will show you what you will do here.” He said as he waved for them to follow. They passed through many corridors and many Nypherian drones working and maintaining the station. They finally came to a very large hangar. This hangar is large enough to hold 4 new ships.
               
             The Admiral stopped and pointed towards the new ships. “The MC 401S Elite Assault Cruiser’s. Our new ship designs. 2,500 meters in length, hundreds of turbo laser placements, and many railgun placements. These ships are going to be made to serve our Empire in the next few years. As you all know, we’re at war. Not just with the Asmodians but with the Darkness and the Demonic Crusade. These ships will be with you upon the invasion of the Darkness and the support against the Demons. We also have new weapons platforms that are going to be placed around all of our systems.” He said. He began to pace back and forward. “Let me be clear. I know you’re all ready to fight for the Empire. It has been 10 grueling days of non-conflict. The Warrant Officer Grade Two’s will be placed in leadership positions for the next upcoming missions. This has yet to be assigned by Grand General Jim Vaknor. However, don’t be discouraged with not hearing anything yet. At this very moment, we are waiting for these ships to be finished. Once they are, you will receive your missions.”

Over the course of several days, Zanya watched as the size and complexity of the station grew to be bigger than even Vermire station. The chief difference being it was built into a now dead planet and the sheer amount of military presence. The Warrant Officer questioned what her place even was by watching such a structure unfold.

On the final day, Zanya's fleet docked with the station and she was greeted with one of the Nypherian Admirals: Vide Admiral Koff. He introduced the palce as Staion Xouliv, strictly a military station, as evident as it was. He led them through dozens of corridors until the group reached an interior construction yard large enough to hold multiple of the Nypherian's largest battlecruisers. Yet, the ship inside was unlike anything Zanya had ever seen. It was clearly bigger and looked a whole lot deadlier than many of the other ships in the Nypherian fleet that she knew of. The Vice Admiral explained that the construction of those ships was holding back the invasion of the Darkness and they would soon be given a briefing on the plan.

"How many of these ships are we building," Zanya asked, she couldn't help but wonder about these new MC 401S Assault Cruisers, "And what precisely will be their role in the fleet?"

Vice Admiral Koff paused as he listened to the Warrant Officer Two's questions. He turned and looked at the ships. "Warrant Officer Grade 2, Zanya, yes?" he said as he went over the names on his list. He went over her information that is present and she had high regards and rewards given to her on the battles on Chyke and Pruna IV. He smiled, "I am glad you asked. We're an newly formed Empire. We will continue to grow and evolve our need to expand our technology needs. This ship is going to be within our fleets. This ship will hold many turbo lasers and rail gun weaponry. There are many ships planned to be built and used within the upcoming war with the Darkness." he only paused to clear his throat. A worker came up and whispered into his ear and walked off. He nodded and set up pieces of paper that had images of the new weapons platforms.

"Now, before I begin on these photos here. The ships before you, their role will be simple. Sheer power. As our technology grows, so do our enemies, and we have to be a step ahead of them. These ships will help our combat percentages dramatically. Depending on the size of the fleet, the current conflict, and the people we are fighting. These ships will have a specific number being deployed. Also, these ships will be the Admirals main ships, in a way flag ships. Now about these photos here. I am sure all of you know about the new platforms. These new weapons are defensive only. They are being placed all around this station and the other systems as well"

A few more ships had broke from orbit in front of the station. Captain Aersilix had arrived as planned and she stood looking at the new station. He she narrowed her eyes and kept her hands on her hips. She knew of the new ships being made within the station but her orders aren't to join them on the station. She had orders to wait for them to be done. She is leading the invasion force on one of the Darkness planets.

Basically, the new Assault Cruisers would fill the role of giant flagships, serving as the center of a Nypherain attack fleet by carrying the majority of their ground forces. It was a simple tactic, and Zanya liked it. By covering your invading ground forces with as much armor and guns as possible, it would be easy to ensure a safe and quick deployment to the surface.

"Yes sir," The Warrant Officer responded, acknowledging the answer given to her. Now that Zanya fully understood the meaning of waiting a few more days before an assault, she could wait a little bit less anxiously.

The ships were being altered and upgraded. Removing old tech and adding in new tech. The worker drones flew around the ships and sparks flew everywhere as they worked on the ships. They soon began to add the many weapons on the ships and enhancing the armor. Officers and Warrant Officers watched over the productions of these new ships. Many of them were going through simulations of what these ships were going to be able to do. Many used 3D models seeing how it will work. Vice Admiral Koff had left the group of Warrant Officers and went to the communications room. There, with many other officers. They over looked the massive Nypherian fleet that had been building within the system. Everything is being prepared for an invasion. The mixture of Fleets could be seen. The ships simply made for space combat and the landing ships. Everything is being prepared as the fleet is so large, it covers a good portion of the massive station.
               
Captain Aersilix had closed the coms channel. Her recent conversation with Grand Admiral Gordon Malik, had gone well enough. She had her orders and she stood on the Captains deck of the ship. It over looked the main floor of her ship. All coordinates had been set and everyone on the fleet couldn’t wait for the new ships to be used on the first days of the invasion. Captain Aersilix wanted to make sure that she could be able to make one of the new ships her flag ship. Many ships and army ships began to board all their respected ships. She watched the swarm of ships boarding all at once and felt pride build in her chest. “The Senate made the right choice, forget the Demons, the Darkness is our target.

In the following days, Zanya found herself meticulously studying the maps and holograms of the new Assault cruisers. She wanted to make absolutely sure that not one corridor or interior ladder was unknown to her in case someone managed to board the ship. Every hiding place, every docking bay, every airlock. She memorized it like the back of her hand.

Eventually, Zanya memorized it. She moved on to other ships and even Vermire Station with slightly less gusto, but she still memorized them. Though she found herself more easily distracted by the massive invasion fleets being assembled outside the new station the invasion was going to happen soon, she could feel it.

The ships had been boarding for the past few days. Stocking up on ammo, food, and vehicles. The massive fleet around the station has been still building up in size. Vice Admiral Koff stood in front of a window, watching the massive fleet. He couldn’t take his eyes off the fleet and he could do is smile. The coms channel turned on as Grand Admiral Thrawn appeared behind him. Koff turned around, “Has everything gone smoothly with the Senate?” Gordon Malik nodded his head. “Things went smoothly with the Senate. We have our approval to use the new ships in combat. Our goals have changed. We will wipe out all life connected with the Darkness and build over their dead and prepare for the second invasion.” Admiral Koff nodded his head in agreement. There has been such a radical change within the Empire that even he was shocked.
               

               “I will send out the orders to move the ships into positions.” He saluted and ended the coms channel. He turned back to the window and opened a coms channel with the engineering department. “We have a go, we use the new ships. Once they’re in position, all hands, to battle stations.” He said as he clicked the coms channel off. Slipping the communicator within his pants pocket, watching the ships slowly turn towards the direction they needed to go. The new ships had begun to leave the station. The size of these new ships had added power to their fleets.

            Everyone on board the ships had gotten their orders. The sounds of the Nypherian war engine began to grind. Space began to twist and warp. Within the next second. Every ship had vanished into their respected Frame Shift jumps. Vice Admiral Koff stood there, watching, waiting, and hoping that this new age for the Nypherian Empire would shine brighter.

Zanya made sure she was one of the first officers aboard the new assault cruisers, even though she didn't have any direct roles with the stocking and arming of the gigantic ships. Weapons, food, ammunition, vehicles, replacement parts, and every imaginable material required to keep an army alive for years was stocked aboard. The massive scale of it impressed Zanya greatly. She had never seen anything like that back when she grew up with the Sigren, they had kept everything small and elegant. Nothing like the gigantic, well-oiled war machine that defined the Nypherian Empire. Zanya's drive to bring the Nypherians greater glory only grew.

Before long, the orders were given out, and the fleet and armies were geared up for a massive assault on the Darkness. Zanya couldn't have felt more prepared.
