Description
While not much larger than UNSC frigates, battleships are designed to withstand much greater punishment and damage than their Frigate counterparts. They exchange a complement of fighter bays, drop pod tubes, and speed for an extra thick hull and more space for housing ammunition. While these ships aren’t as massively produced as Frigates, they often form the backbone of UNSC combat-ready fleets by being able to dish out more punishment than enemy fleets while simultaneously wiping out the opponent’s.
