Strengths
The Salarians have only one military faction, known as the Salarian Special Tasks Group (STG). The STG specialise on covert operations and espionage, making many Salarians extremely skilled infiltrators and assassins. Many Salarians who don't join the STG work as scientists, creating new technologies and studying many different aspects of the universe, making them excellent scientists and tech specialists.
Weaknesses
Salarians are much smaller and weaker than other races, making them much easier to fatally wound or kill as their bodies aren't as physically durable.
Appearance
Culture
The culture of Salarians focuses mostly on science and improving life on a galactic scale, making as many advancements in as many areas as possible. For this reason, many Salarians grow to become doctors and professors, taking up teaching positions where possible and travelling across the galaxy studying whatever new things they find. Salarians who don't wish to follow this path either join up with the STG or enlist in the Citadel Alliance.
History
Very little is known about the history of the Salarians as few people ever get the privilege of setting foot on Sur'Kesh. The Salarians are shrouded in secrecy, though it's abundantly clear that they share a very strained diplomatic relationship with the Krogan race.
