The Nypherians began their plans towards expanding their empire. With Iathea in their pocket, it was only a matter of time before they would move onto the next target. Chyke, was now in striking distance. Within scan reports, the planet was not inhabited by intelligent life. This would make things easier than the invasion they had done on Iathea. With the creations of cities and stations finally done on Iathea, ships then began to move towards Chyke. The ships above Iathea had thinned out. The invasion fleet had retreated away back to Spire. Re-docking within the Mother ship that hovers over Spire. Only a few ships remained after the fleet had left. There they remained, until the order was given. Within the week, only two ships had broken off the orbiting fleet. They tilted and slowly armed their engines and finally they entered warp. They broke warp and appeared over the planet of Chyke.

The ships hovered over the planet. Probes few from the ships.Their job was to scan and grab as much detail from the planet. This planet is a strategic position to help support the from line stations against the Darkness. The probe had entered the atmosphere and immediately detected that the planet had a high concentration of gases in the air. This planet was very similar to Spire. A plant that had a runway greenhouse effect. However, this planet had a far more active Volcanic  activity. New forms of technology needed to colonize the planet. However they had terraforming technology but needed to bring in ships from the Void. This would take sometime and communicating not once but twice within a few months, that could be an issue.

They had to decide but for now, construction of a station would begin.

Once the station was complete, now began the next step. The ships began to form a terraforming substation on the planet. It was placed within the higher mountains to avoid the constant lava flow. The ships focused their matter construction upon the high mountains. Within minutes, the machine began to take form. It grew as it climbed into the sky, seemingly like it was trying to each the heavens. The beams stopped and the full machine finally comes into view. It had a glow to it. The metal shined bright as the sun reflected off the surface. Even with the thick clouds of gas, sunlight is still able to get through.

The ships then began to hover and scan the solar system. They had to keep and eye out and mak sure no one could disrupt the terraforming of the planet. The machine began to shoot up large clouds of chemicals. They began to change the atmosphere of the planet. The main plan was to monitor and make sure that this planet is ready for colonization. The overall target was to also make this planet a hub for the military and a colony for Void Citizens.  The orbiting satellite was military in nature. It is meant to support an protect the planet. It also had the two orbiting battle ships guarding it as well.

Within the following days, and how advanced the terraforming abilities the Nypherian's had. The planets atmosphere had begun to change. Things were moving along perfectly but there was one issue. The current volcanic activity on the planet. With how much "Green House" gases it was dumping into the air. The machine would have to be kept on at all time. There is one way they could fix this. They would alter the tectonic plates of the planet and reduce the cores activity. If they decided to do this, it would delay colonization for the planet. With this delay, it would also delay other plans.

This was something the Nypherian's wouldnt accept. Given the circumstances,  they really didnt have a choice in the matter. They needed to get planets colonization done. They refused to make simply lapses in judgment because of the hunger of conflict. Moments later, more ships had appeared over the planet. With more and more Nypherian presence, they could help speed up the process. They werent going to rush it but they werent going to take their time. While ships had went back and forward between the orbital station and the planet. Construction plans had began to be drawn out within the archives. The original plans were to make separate and scattered cities. The main issue that still stands is the overactive planet core. Which is the cause for the volcanic activity.

Instead, the planet would be transformed into one giant city. With strategic devices placed in specific spots to control the activity. This was also an opportunity in disguise. It would give the Nypherians more chances to make Space ports and communication station on the planet. These new plans were put into motion.

The city itself began to spread across the planet. With the devices controlling the volcanic activity.  The probe workers built the towns in small sections all over the planet and continued to add things. Thus, made it look like they were all purposefully building around the devices. These devices are heavily guarded and protected by the Nypherians. These devices are heavily monitored and maintained. They couldn't afford to let things slip and fall into disrepair. They would never let their people suffer from a mistake like the that.

The cities began to spread all over the planet, until the 'City" lines met and formed one giant city. Within the ext few days, after the completion of the planet wide city. The citizens began to arrive by ship. Soon, the planet itself was filled with citizens of the Void. It was once an empty planet and within a few weeks. it had turned into a busy planet. A world filled with military forces and Citizens. Within the next few days, trade networks had been set up with Iathea. Very soon, they would make their move upon the last system before their move upon the Darkness. They're hunger for war grew and grew. Soon, they would strike and hit them hard. The plan was simple, wipe them out...all of them.

Shadows curled into the shape of a woman standing tall upon the newly constructed building in one of the southern cities. Her mouth curled into a cruel smirk as she examined what these strange beings had built. Slowly her hands raised beside her, palms outstretched to the air as shadow energy gathered at her fingers. Swirling the energy around she finally launched it down into the city, spawning countless shadowy creatures upon impact with the ground.

"Go my children," She whispered through the void to her dark army. "Kill these intruders. Stop them from reaching our dark home." The dark creatures stampeded through the streets, looking for structures or beings they could rip apart with their claws and magic.

In the matter of seconds, the alarms were activated. The usage of magic was detected, baring the known signature of Darkness. The alarms rang out all over the districts. Thirty more ships, a combination of MC 2B13's and MC2B23's. Waves upon waves of Nypherian fighters erupted from the ships. All of the focusing upon the upon the detection of magic.They begun sweeping strikes against the the Darkness foot soldiers or beings that were summoned. During the conflict, a few more ships that were slightly bigger than the other two ships broke from warp over the planet. These ships were the new MC 3B10's. They began monitoring the activity and searching for the origin of the magic.

While the ships were searching for the origin of the magic user. Nypherian soldiers were being deployed and not the soldiers guarding the devices controlling the core activity. This was now a main priority a defensive lines were being made. Even M446A3 Ravager's had been deployed upon the surface to guard these devices. A combination of basic Nypherian soldiers, A01 Nypherian SF soldiers, S01 Nypherian Snipers, and the new XM3B Nypherian Mech's. Each of them where ordered to activate search and destroy protocol.

The combat was strategically being pushed through the streets. Snipers took to the buildings, placing suppressed fire on enemy forces. The rest formed front lines and evacuated any Void Citizens that had been found during the push. A Nypherian had spotted one of the Darkness soldiers. it ran through the building as others had responded its sighting. Snipers began to search that specific area for enemy forces. The Nypherian soldier jumped through the window, tackling that Shadow Soldier, it then made the effort to drop punches towards it head.

Dark mist flowed like tsunami water through the streets, spawning more dark soldiers and creatures wherever it went. The common beings could be held back by the firepower of the Nypherians, their sickening cries echoing between buildings; each one's pain fueling the lives of the others. In a flat out one versus one a Nypherian would prevail, but the shadows had strength in numbers. 

Singular creatures would split themselves to attack with the same power from two sides. Others would dissipate completely to pass through the gunfire and body of their enemy, reappearing at the opportune moment to strike. The shadow soldier being tackled by a Nypherian made a great example, as his form disappeared from the robotic being's grip the moment he began punching.

Now behind and above the Nypherian, the shadow stabbed downwards with a large spar formed from the dark energy around. Meanwhile Lana herself re positioned constantly throughout the city, spreading the shadows as far and wide as she could.

The scanners instantly picked up Lana based on her constant use of Magic. The scanners focused on her and began running tests and system predictions on her use of magic. They have fought magic users before, experience from fighting the Asmodians. They began to send information from what the soldiers were seeing and the system visuals from Lana. Soon, they will be able to counter the magic, however they would need time. On the ground, more and more soldiers were deployed. With the "black mist" flowing everywhere and producing more and more , they began to use Kinetic energy to contain it. There were system lines all within the ground that began to pump kinetic energy on the surface, to prevent the magic from spreading and keeping it within the specific target ranges.

This technique was placed a long time ago to combat the Asmodian magic. Everything has its weak points. Even with magic, there was always a scientific method in combating such skills. The soldier punched the ground but the being vanished. It re-appeared above it and struck a energy spear into its shoulder. Within an instant and kinetic blast merged from its body in itself defense. Countering the being above it and tossing it to the ground. The spear still in its shoulder dissipated and a hole was left in the shoulder of the machine. It stood up and turned to look a it. Nanites flushed over the entire hole and within a few seconds, the damage was gone. It picked up its weapon and unleashes a flurry of plasma bolts.

In that moment, every Nypherian is aware of how they can disappear and are effected by Kinetic energy. They're also aware of the Hive Mind working on a solution to counter the being who was pumping out constant black mists. They couldn't fire weapons at her because she was so close to the city.

The shadow laughed at the Nypherian's healing, simply coming in again for more raking with it's claws. None of the spawned creatures cared about their survival for they were merely manifestations of energy. Instead they attacked without second thought and acted much like the Nypherians for they too were gathering information. The way they reacted and adapted to the sudden attack all fed back through the darkness to Lana.

"Consider the waters tested." She smirked, before looking around to notice the forces approaching her location. In a moment she was gone; swept away in a dark mist. Left behind were the remaining manifestations of darkness, still stampeding around the city to cause general chaos until they were cleared up.

They were learning as well. This made things complicated.The fighting would continue and the plans to capture Lana alive began to form. However, she vanished but leaving the shadow spawns to continue their onslaught in the general area. The Nypherian began to learn the shadow beings moves and dodged them. Moving left and right, simply avoiding its attacks. It began to release its own kinetic field to push the being back. Using the method of two batteries. Only certain forces of energy will push back on each other. This new discovery would be implemented on the Nypherians. Though, Lana may have left and the forces were slowly being picked off. Strategy was kept in place. Lines were formed and the exchange of fire was kept to be perfected.

Within hours, the all clear was given. The hatred ran deep and the Nypherians began plans of invasion on the Darkness. They thought that they were testing them, to find weaknesses, and they found nothing but a species that adapts to conflict. The wounded were tended to and the death were buried. Instructions were sent out to construct a monument to honor the fallen and families affected by such a vicious attack. They weren't going to stand for this, they weren't going to let things slide, and they weren't going to forget. Blood for Blood, they Nypherians are on their way. It's War.
