| The station was created to help build a better relationship with the species of this Galaxy. It is a very large station that rotates slowly on its access. It releases a signal that speaks in all of the galaxys languages that asks them to come and trade or find work. The station itself is like a work of art. A blacken station that has glowing blue lights that outline the station. There are words in neon that are in different languages of the residents from the Void. Most of the visible languages aren't spoken in the Galaxy. Hundreds of ships can be seen commenting to different portions of the station, an ever buzzing community. Around the station are 10 large MC 2B23 Battle Cruisers hover around the station and 40 small MC 1013 frigates flanked the large Battle Cruisers. Guarding the ever so precious station that housed civilians of the Nypherian Coalition. |

| The peculiar signal was what had drawn The Freelancer's attention at first. It was unlike anything else he had seen before, unique but also familiar. The Freelancer isolated the signal and with aid of his ship's computers, he attempted to translate the signal as best he could. His ship was small but not miniature: around 300 meters in length and around 150 meters in width. It was protected by a few layers of energy shielding projected by the ship's inner power core. The translation was a failure but he could make out bits and pieces. It looked like an invitation. Some sort of galactic market. Intrigued more than ever now, he powered up his ship's slipspace drives and followed the signal.
As the ship exited slipspace, The Freelancer was met with the sight of a huge diamond shaped megastructure floating against the blackness of space. He took note of the complementary fleet guarding it. Whichever species that made this thing were incredibly advanced. From his analysis of the ships, he could see that it would be wise not to antagonise the fleet. Using specific neural commands sent from his mind to the computer, he broadcasted a signal back to the station, requesting permission to land. |

| The ships all focused on the ship but made zero aggressive efforts . Once the ship came close enough, you would notice that porting away wasn't an option anymore for safety reasons when being so close to the station. It only took a few seconds for a transmission to respond.
" Accessing UNSC records...identity confirmed. Access granted. Make way towards access 34IG, docking bay 14. Mind traffic as rush hour is active."
in the computers screen, directions where shown towards the lower levels and the opening port was highlighted to easy access. When drawing closer the ships no longer focused the ship as data had already been confirmed. The station itself hummed. The amount of energy flowed through the super station and the noise of traffic cpuld be heard. As you enter the station, you can see that there are many species that don't exist in this galaxy. Living their lives.
A docking Bay was highlighted and a alien being waiting for him. He was lizard like and the others where dock workers that also waited. Experienced in many forms of technology. Their job was to keep and maintain all docking ships. |

| As The Freelancer followed the highlighted route, he took the moment to examine the scale of the station. It was massive indeed, however not unlike any other thing he'd seen before. The ship landed in the designated docking bay and the engines went into hibernation per his instructions. The Freelancer then got up and walked to the back of his ship and standing atop a platform highlighted in a lighter colour. Through his neural command, the platform descended, unaided by anything attached to it as if it were being operated by some sort of gravitational technology. As the platform fully descended onto the floor of the station, The Freelancer stepped off and walked up to the reptilian being. The Freelancer himself was 8 foot tall and from his appearance, one could tell that he was robotic in origin. He looked at the reptilian being and examined him for a moment. Curious. The reptile was unlike anything he had seen before. His biology didn't seem to match anything he had ever come across. Perhaps this being, and the station on which they both stood was from an uncharted galaxy? "Greetings, stranger," was the first thing he said to the being. His voice was deep and hollow and sounded synthetic, if slightly. |

| As the ship landed and the port dropped into the hangar Bay. The reptilian and a few dock workers got to work on the ship and were so used to the hangar. The movement was like a part of them now. The reptilian looked through a clipboard and glanced over the screen. " machine, huh? Very well. This is a trading post for the galaxy. One of the many that will be build with the expanding of Nypherian territory. On this level, obviously the hangar and a market to upgrade your ship. There are parts from all over the collective universes so feel free to window shop or purchase. We take any credit of this Galaxy so no need to worry. Upstairs are the bars and gambling on the Void Wars. Then to the left of that hallway are the bounties that will be posted. " The guy paused for a moment as he went over the rest of the files. " the predicted conflict between the Demons or whatever the fuck they want to call themselves and the humans haven't started yet but there are charting jobs and small time kill orders that need to be done. You can as I said, go down that hallway and gather the information from the server hub. Just remember to follow the rules of the station. 1. No active weapons. All must be holstered 2. If you lost a gambling bet, you must pay or risk a fine 3. If you claim a bounty that's been listed. If the targets local authorities catch you. You're on your own 4. If you need to escape being chased, port into Nypherian space and you will be supported. " He finished by giving a nod and waved him off." Alright shmucks, get to work and fuel the ship up. Keep everything monitored!" He said as he walked right by the machine. |

| Different universes? The Freelancer doubted there'd be a species advanced enough to cross from one universe into another. This explained the unfamiliarity of the reptile. He wasn't from this universe at all, and apparently neither were some of the upgrades they were offering, which intrigued him. The Freelancer made his way over to the market, surveying the different parts that he could add to his ship. He had already made significant upgrades to the vessel over the century he had spent traveling the Milkyway and it's satellite galaxies. Nonetheless, the idea of technology from outside this universe captivated him.
He walked over to one of what he assumed to be a store and walked right in. Inside he looked around for different types of weaponry he could add to the ship, hoping for some sort of assistant to join him and help him with his search. |

| The market is filled with various languages. Neon signs everywhere that listed weapons, armor, or frame drive upgrades. There were sections that have specifically technology that doesn't exist in this Galaxy. Armors that prevent ballistic damages all the way of pulling ships out of warp. A hologram emerged before the machine. " Greetings, I am your digital assistant. We have a large array of technologies that can upgrade your personal hand held weapons, personal armor, and ship upgrades. We can all galactic forms of currency per Nypherian law. However, Nypherian listed military technology will not be available to the public until further notice. If you are listed living around the Sol systems or Demonic territories, I'm sorry. We cannot ship sales or any sold products to those locations due to the possibility of conflict war and no treaties have been made with leaders of those Empires. With that being said, what can I do for you today?" It asked as it waited patiently. The smells of the food markets and bars mixed with the smell of synthetic liquids from certain pieces of technology's on the market. A plethora of smells could be detected. |

| The Freelancer looked at the hologram. "I do not affiliate myself with any of the minor or major empires in the galaxy. I am myself a bounty hunter and gun-for-hire." He said. He looked about the shop for a moment before speaking again. "You mentioned ship upgrades. Would you be able to recommend anything for defensive purposes? I was thinking something that may come in use when the ship has received extensive damage and is on the verge of destruction. I do have an emergency protocol installed where the ship warps to a safe location within a second, but that takes a tremendous amount of power to do. I am looking for something more energy conservative." |

| " they're are many variations of upgraded and frame shift drives that are accessible to your ship. However, with recent records of your craft at the docking bay. Some upgrades or alterations will have to be made to accommodate any other universe upgrades to your ship. These are extended towards Frame Shift drive upgrade. This gives your ship the ability to warp travel at faster speeds than most craft in this Galaxy. The largest jump the least expensive frame shift drive can be at least 2,000 Ly within 10 seconds. The next is the power distribution upgrades. This will help distribute power accordingly to your ship with the new upgrades. There is also armor upgrades that prevent any damage form of ballistic weapons from enemy fighters. However, shelling from cruisers or frigates will cause damage. " the hologram said as it explained the specific categories and possible upgrades that are available. |

| " Very good! The cost will be either 200,000 UNSC credit or 200,000 VC. This is because we have to outfit your ship and upgrade certain parts so that the power distribution is proper and won't blow put your ships engine. This will take a few hours to outfit and upgrade your ship. While you wait, the bar is upstairs. Information regarding Void War betting or just simply watching the Void Tournament will be free to watch. Please be aware of others seating positions. Everything is set up depending if one bet or if one didn't. If you're lucky, you might be able to catch the current weeks match ups or just the VNN recap of the games. " the hologram said as it vanished. The monitor lit up showing how to pay and how long the upgrade will take on the ship. Directions towards the bar / betting area were also listed. |

| The Freelancer paid the costs and nodded as the hologram finished. As it vanished, he made his way towards the betting area, following the instructions closely. Curious, he had never heard of the concept of "void wars" before and could only guess what it meant. A lot of species used the word "void" for different things. The void of space, the void past the singularities of supermassive black holes, the void between stars and galaxies. Sometimes even universes, but The Freelancer treated the notion of a species being able to travel between universes as ridiculous... that was until now. As he entered the betting area, he looked around hoping to find some other assistance in this otherwise unfamiliar environment. |

| The bar was filled with cheers and boos. The screens where filled with gameplay of two teams. There was a neon sign that said " Planet Delta competition". The screens had two teams shooting at each other. The technology was very old but what could be seen is when someone got shot. It was obvious that it hurt but as they died, their body would break away in data chunks. Showing that this wasn't just any competition but a digital one. One team had reached 100 points and the game was signalled as over. The bar was filled with more cheers and boos. On the screen it showed, " Durogans Following Victory". With their win/loss record as 7-1. " Man, that was a close match" one guy said. " It shows that Durogans Following don't deserve the title for the second time because of that loss!" Other said The bar was filled with chatter until the screens changed to the news. The letters VNN popped up as a woman came to the screen. " This is VNN and we're hear to give you the news that involves our home the Void and the Void Wars update. The crowd hushed as everyone wanted to hear. " with the growing algorithms of the potential conflict with the Demonic Crusade grows, the Nypherians begin with developing new forms of technology and weaponry. The growing tensions began with the continued conquering of the Heaven Kingdom as they only have one system left in the growing conflict. Others have reported that a possibility of UNSC and Demonic Crusade going to war and a overwhelming number from the citizens of the Void are demanding that the Nypherians stay out of it" the woman said until the crowd began to cheer. " let the bastards die, it not our problem!" Some yelled out. Other yelled there own support of staying out of the conflict. The woman continues," until recently Seyfer was just a being who gave us advise and a home to be in after 2 universal wars and now he has take complete control of the Nypherians as he in his own words will lead us through the times he has also predicted. With the opening of the mining colony that was just recently opened on Lostrus and plans of expanding at on the way. It's the question that comes to mind when other species in this Galaxy get wind of our presence. Since our signal of free and peaceful trade from Vermire reaches the UNSC and the Demonic Crusade. That was the news and we're VNN". she said as the broadcast came to a close and lists of the next matches of the Void Wars were being listed. The crowd began to mutter amongst themselves as possible war in the Galaxy. Some didn't want to talk about it and continued to talk about the upcoming matches. The next game came on as Mau's Truth V. Ananjum came on. |

| "Typical of both species, war mongers from the very beginning." The Freelancer said to himself as he watched the news. When it finished, he walked over to one of the screens and began to observe the next match. As before, he didn't recognise any of the species in the bar or those shown on the screen, neither did the team names sound remotely familiar to what he knew of the galaxy and its inhabitants. He looked to his left at one being and spoke to him directly. "Who will you place your bets on for this match? And how much?" |

| The guy looked at him, " well, last season they ended with a record of 4-5. They advanced to the group stages and ended with 2-2. They got to the knockout round but were eliminated. Now, they're 7-0 in the first stages of season 2. The other team is 4-3 this season. Last season they were 6-3 in the first stage and in the group stages they got eliminated with a record of 1-3. " He paused as he showed him that he is betting on Ananjum. " you hear me! Ananjum will win the Planetary championship and stop Durogans Following getting the double. I'm betting 2,000 credits that Ananjum wins the Planetary championship. " He said as a few laughed at the idea and others cheered to that man's opinion. " But on the side note. What the VNN said. The coming war, you're an outsider and from this Galaxy. Rumors say that you're not with either the skuffers or Facists. We also heard that the Facists are after their own species. Because of how they're different. Disgusting. The Nypherians aren't like that. They die for each other and will die for the citizens of this station and the Void citizens. They will never leave you behind!" He said with vigor and passion. He turned away and handed in his bet. |

| As the man handed in his bet, The Freelancer made the impulsive decision to also bet on Ananjum, the same amount that the man had - 2'000 credits. Money didn't come in short supply for The Freelancer, and it was one of the things he had the ability to spend as much as he needed or wanted to. However on a personal level, he preferred to keep himself reserved in his purchases despite the high amount of bounties collected over the years. But this was different: while gambling was something he was familiar with, these void wars were not and it was alluring enough for him to participate.
He then addressed the man again, intending to hold conversation, even if for a small amount of time. "The rumours are correct. This UNSC and Demonic Crusade are both factions with whom I have worked to some level in the past, as I have done so with many other races across this galaxy and its satellites such as Path Kethona. I can tell you one thing: most if not all sentient races that inhabit these stars are ultimately at a loss, they lack the intellect and reasoning to live in harmony. War mongers will always exist as they did within my own species. Which is why I prefer to work alone. This station and those who have built it seem to be incredibly sophisticated in terms of their technological level. Tell me, who are these architects? What are their origins?" |

| As the game began. It was a team of 20 people. Each team had a certain level of technology. Some more advanced then the others, only because of the victories they have achieved. They fought over the small map and the first to reach 100 kills, wins. Explosions of simple grenades and the crack of basic rifles filled the road. When one of them died, it looked like he actually died. Until, that body broke apart in coded particles and the person respawned. It was obvious now, a virtual reality game play. It only looked real. A few people stopped looked and glanced at the being who asked questions about the Nypherians. They looked to one another, till one person broke the silence. " They have many names. From the other species whom had met them during the conflict between Twin Blade Empire and them. They're sometimes called the masters of universes. Not much is known about their origins as they keep it too themselves but sometimes the truth comes out. " The man paused as he shrugged and turned back towards the game. Another shook his head, " there have been tales that they're humans from Earth. Which is why they came back to the Sol system. They call it Sol as for some weird reason they refuse to call it milky way because of a name of some candy, I don't know. They have the ability to take any kind of matter and alter it to what they actually need. As they tell use there are 3 rules of the collective universes. 1. Matter cannot be created 2. It cannot be destroyed 3. However, it can be altered. Ever since they found that out. They figured out how to convert it and use it. " |

| "They seem quite sophisticated." The Freelancer commented as he watched the game. "This galaxy has also seen its share of advanced races long forgotten. I would never have imagined that humanity made it so far as to travel between universes, I have seen their kind and their habits in this one, nothing impressive. It'd be a wonder if they don't drive themselves to extinction before they are able to develop similarly. Perhaps this alternate version of humanity that built this station can teach them a few things."
The Freelancer paused, keeping his optics focused on the game being displayed. He particularly made note of their weapons and armour, along with the respawn system. "Ah, I assumed this was bloodsport, the digital simulations are very convincing." He said. "Tell me, are there any bounties I can find on this station? I am a mercenary or bounty hunter, whichever you prefer." He gestured to his body as he said this. He was clearly loaded with many different kinds and varieties of weaponry ranging from firearms to blades, gadgets and other exotic technology attached or holstered to different parts of his body. "Is there anyone on this station that I know of that would suit my interests? I do enjoy a good hunt." |

Like the..." the guys conversation was cut short as the VNN had a breaking report. " This is VNN and we're here with you live for a breaking report. News reports are coming in and stating that the Heaven Kingdom has officially been wiped out. Nypherians and Seyfer are going to keep their neutral stance on the politics and conflict in the Sol Galaxy. However, how long till the Demonic Hordes turn their eyes upon the Nypherians or anyone that has citizenship within the Nypherians. Only time will tell. This is VNN, keeping you up to date. " Everyone in the room were quiet only for a few seconds until the Void Wars came back on. Ananjum was now leading 65-25. After the question about bounties. One guy chimed in from a few feet away. " up on the next level there are bounties. But since the Nypherians are only expanding and at war with the Asmodians. To our knowledge, there are no Asmodians in this galaxy. The most they'll give you are data mining. Meaning, scout out planets in the nearby clusters to prepare for expansion. " He said as he looked back at the tv. |

| The Freelancer nodded in response to the man. Data mining. He had plenty of knowledge on planets across the entire galaxy and even some outside it including the different species, significant stars and other celestial formations throughout. However whether or not this species could be trusted with so much information was another matter entirely. At first glance, these "Nypherians" seemed to be at war with only one race which was outside the galaxy, meanwhile trying to maintain neutral relationships with everyone in the Milky Way. He couldn't help but wonder if this was because of their lack of information instead or if they were really telling the truth. The Freelancer turned to watch the TV. The team on which he had placed his bet seemed to be winning. He decided to stay in the bar for the rest of the match, watch it's outcome and then return to his ship. |

| The game had ended 30 minutes later. Ananjum had won 100-45. Thus, continuing their undefeated streak. The players on the screen cheered and the camera shifted to other cameras that were recording the fans crowding on the planet within the Void. They all were the same species. This was a competition between species within the Void. The crowd within the bar were a mixture of cheers and boos. Mostly because people either win or lost money. The VNN came back on. " Break news as this is literally just in. A meeting between Earth and the Nypherians had just ended in a non aggression pact. The stipulations were simple and fair. However, it has been made clear that the Nypherians want nothing to do with Earthling drama or issues. This is strictly a non aggression pact, we're not friends, just people asking you you stay on your side and we stay on ours. Also, within recent reports, another kingdom or Alliance has been formed. The more detailed information isn't available to us but it's clear that they're against the Demonic Crusade. However, we fear that the calm before the storm will almost be over as tensions are now building for the obvious 2 v. 1 fight. The Demons will fight both the Earthlings and the Alliance. " The VNN news closed and the next planetary matches were going to begin. The winnings had been handed out and the losers had to pay up. A notification on the board had indicated that the ships upgrades had been finished. |

| The Freelancer nodded in thanks to the reptile man who walked off. His advanced sensory abilities enabled him to pick up mumblings of the agreement between Nypherians and Demons, but he did not care. It was none of his business. While he began to respect the Nypherians, their technological achievements and the fact that they had just provided the resources for him to upgrade his ship, his low opinion on the demons stood firm. Savages that were bound to die off either through picking a fight with the wrong species of killing themselves off instead, much like the humans of this universe.
However, something caught his eye that piqued his curiousity. He looked over to the sign. Bothmolnud Consortium? Some sort of insurrectionist faction perhaps? And a reward in exchange... The Freelancer couldn't help but revel in the potential thrill of another hunt. It was all he knew at this point and he couldn't pass up the chance.
With his optics, he zoomed into the sign, scanning and copying a digital copy of it into his drives. This activated his technopathic ability to access different databases on whatever was known about this group. After collecting the information within a few seconds, The Freelancer walked back onto his ship and took off from the station, intending to begin the hunt as soon as possible. |
