Xa'ra eyes widened at the thought of her ship being sold off for parts. In irritation she pulled off her hood, revealing her half covered face. Tinted goggles covered her eyes while a snarl graced her lips, "They what?! My ship!" she said as she turned to Kaiyan.

He too knew the risks of leaving behind an Ananaki ship, there was little time to loose.

The purple-skinned alien glanced around in search of this junkpile they cast the ship to. "Show us where it is?!" she asked the elf hurriedly.

Amethyst was shocked in the tone she took and nodded lightly, she got out of her ship and looked at  Kaiyan "Thank you but I don't need the credits" She said walked past both of them and headed to the back of the shipshop. She looked at both of them wait for them to catch up. 


Once they had caught up she went to a pile of scraps and saw their ship torn to bits and damaged in the pile "there is ya'll ship, they told me they found it that way and they didn't bother to see if anything was in there of value" She said looking at them

Cavalry....

It wasn't the worst method of attack, but it certainly wasn't the best. These 'knights' wanted a forward charge into a village that, if his hunch was right, didn't even have a militia. The armored fools would come burning and pillaging like ancient barbarians. 

But still, a cavalry charge. Men in armor, mounted on armored beasts with cannons strapped to its sides, charging towards a single elf in an undefended village.......it reminded him of earth's own medieval era. Brutish, and simple.....

"I can't say it's the worst idea either....." 

Still, it'd be a good enough try to lure out the half-demon....so for now he'd tag along....

Xa'ra stared at the remnants of her ship, it no longer held its triangular shape. She took a deep, calming breath before she started to sift through the debris, trying to find important pieces from falling into the wrong hands. Luckily, this world didn't realize what they had in their hands and discarded everything as garbage.

She waved her hand dismissively to Kaiyan, "Keep your money, we have no use for it. Just help me find the crystal components. Be careful as some of them are hot to the touch," she explained to her companion.

This situation made her think though, perhaps the Ananaki needed to improve their ships. In this galaxy they were no longer at the top of the food chain, figuratively speaking of course. The hull and armor weakness of these ships will need an edge...

Glancing around she noticed that the storage content she kept in her ship were gone. They held some personal belongings to both Xa'ra and Kaiyan; extra equipment, food, etc... 

Hm...she wasn't worried about her equipment, at most the scavengers have sturdy but lightweight weapons now. She wasn't sure about Kaiyan's equipment though, considering that his species relies on currency to receive items. Something that takes time and effort to gather.

Xa'ra was about to use a spell when she too heard the screams in the distance.

A cavalry of armored knights charged through the village and it appears that they were looking for something but she couldn't tell what yet.

Kaiyan had already thrown himself into the skirmish so Xa'ra had no choice but to join to watch his back...let's hope he doesn't end up naked again...

The Ananaki cast the cloak aside by the debris of what used to be her ship, revealing pants made out of black scales; her leather gladiator styled sandals had straps wrapping around her leg all the way till above the knee. Her abdomen were protected by chitin plating while the rest of her torso was wrapped in a sarong whose fabric draped over her hips but underneath the plating. Meanwhile both her shoulders had more black scale armor that went all the way down her arms.

As she ran towards Kaiyan to back him up, she pulled up her metallic half-mask to cover her mouth and nose. Her face now completely covered as she unsheathed her dual-wielding swords, leaped into the air and plunged them both into a mounted knight that tried to sneak up behind her reptilian friend.

She looked up to Kaiyan as he gave her orders to target the Officers, "With pleasure!" she growled and turned her attention to the one mounted officer and the one that was on foot.

Amethyst looked at the knights and growled and joined in, She recognized the man who was the leader of the so called men of the king. She pulled her dagger out and jumped into the fight, literally. She jumped onto one of the men closest to the leaver and kicked him off his beast. She took control of the armed beast and had it ran into the leader's beast. 

She jumped off when it hit and saw the leader fall to the ground having his leg damaged when the beast she had ran into his, his leg got crushed and bleeding and she walked up to him and put the dagger up to him throat "Hello again, did you really thing bringing this many men would make a difference?" She asked with an innocent tone of voice.

"It could've been executed better" William muttered to himself as he watched through his binoculars the carnage that was transpiring in the town. Still, he got what he needed and more...a lot more than he needed. The knight had brought with him a force of what? somewhere around 12 knights and that was simply not enough. The half-demon could probably kill them all if she wanted, which is why he went to the king - after some rough 'persuasion' of the guards that he be allowed an audience with their king. 

Strangely, the king here wasn't the buffoon he'd expected. Instead, the king was intelligent and ruthless. So, with his creative and persuasive rhetoric, William was able to exchange some 'technology' for a force of 200 knights. Said technology were just fancy looking time-bombs that would explode the moment he pressed a certain button. 

So here he was now, watching the carnage as another - much larger - force was on its way. Frankly, the king himself found it quite redundant to send a force of 200 to capture one elf, but then it was no concern of his as to what William would do with the 200 soldiers. He DID get his end of the bargain, so there was NO reason to protest.

"The half-demon is powerful indeed...." 


William readied his pistols and dove into the forest while his main force would charge head on. 

Amethyst turned her attention to the crowd of solders approaching and groaned, she quickly disposed the of the leading officer and got up she took her cloak off rivaling a bow and arrows. She jumped up on the closest building and drew her bow the stone heads on her arrows were blue and had a slight glowing to them she fired one and hit a officer right in the throat, She kept it up till she was out of arrows and growled lightly.

She noticed someone in the woods and tilted her head, her distraction from the battled let her open and was in the arm by a officer she hissed in pain and glared at him taking at dagger out and killed him. She looked at the wound, her dark green blood flowed down her arms it was almost the same color as her green eye.

She was...interesting.....

Indeed, he could've just shot her from his position and ended it right then and there - though he'd probably lower the payment by bringing in a corpse - but he chose not to do so. William lowered the pistol he'd been aiming at the Halfbreed's head. Instead, the White Death lowered his pistol towards her shoulder and fired a single shot of super-heated tungsten. 

His contract was for her to be brought dead or alive. Fifty thousand credits if she was dead, and a hundred thousand if she was brought alive. 

Well....alive didn't mean uninjured......

Xa'ra followed Kaiyan, while he created a diversion she went ahead to start gathering what she could. 

She found her cloak again and decided to use it to bundle all the equipment and form a bag. 

"Try and..." she paused for a moment, how to describe the crystals when color was a concept she did not know. She tried to remember what the closest color would be...."The palest one, they should be shaped as large rings with dark discs in the middle of it."

The rest of the crystals weren't an issue nor a threat if the natives figured out how to use it. The battery life of those things will run out eventually.

When they got what they needed Xa'ra suggested that they steal one the ships on the scrapyard that they -didn't- strip down. Surely the two of them could make a quick fix and use that ship to get the heck out of here!

Amethyst yelped in pains falling onto her knees and gripped her shoulder she looked to where the bullet came from and saw who it was she growled her green eye glowing lightly. She got up and hissed at him holding onto her shoulder and froze and gripped her head her hand over in green blood and fell to the ground, she fell to the ground gripping onto her head shaking violently.

A noise had awoken Jack it was the sound of his ship his cryopod released him desplaying that he had been frozen for a year and a half 'warp sustainability critical' landing on uncharted world....type habitable warp core parts scanned in....high desity zone' when he looked at the screen he saw a battle going on "where are the warp cores? We could do a hit and run, run maintenance scan on the teleporter array  and warp cores "  'running...84% percent efficiency teleporter array, cores 1 and 2 are at zero percent core 3 is at 58 % ' is what the computer displayed " well hit and run it is" he said as he drove the ship towards the location of some scavengers and quickly switched his unstable warp cores with the ones they were carrying 'warining reconfiguring required activating nanites.....reconfiguaring to Buborium engine quality...2 minutes to completion ' then the screen showed the soilders " lets get in on this"

"Target secured" 

With that, the battle was over, and the soldiers could return home. Buuuuut

"You may exact vengeance upon the Lizard man and the demon for your fallen comrades."  William stated as he placed several restraints on the downed Half Breed. He bound her hands behind her back with a titanium brace that was connected to her ankles as well, before injecting a powerful sedative right into her neck. 

The captain of the knights nodded as he signaled his underlings to began scouring the village. 

Meanwhile, some soldiers stayed behind to carry the half breed back to William's pod at the man's behest.

The knights struggled to get past the burning log that blocked the entrance to the scrapyard,they would fire the occasional arrow from bows whenever they spotted the two searching for scraps of the Ananaki ship.

The arrow would break on contact against the back of Kaiyan's chestplate,his scales also providing considerable protection against the poorly crafted arrows.He would turn to parry the arrows in flight using his gladius whilst he hissed that the Ananaki should hurry up and find the scraps she needed.

Kaiyan miscalculated as a arrow wizzed past him towards Xa'ra,he then flicked his tail into the path of the arrow,the arrow makes it's mark as it punctures into the softer scales near the tip of his tail,the wound whilst not fatal did cause him to lose balance slightly as he hissed in rage.

Xa'ra could hear the screams in the distance and arrows flying past them. She scanned the debris one more time to make sure she had everything and counted the Crystal parts she did have.

She turned her head towards Kaiyan, just in time to see him stumbling from getting hit. She slung the make-shift pouch across her back before rushing by his side, helping him get his balance back.

"I have everything we need, let's find a way to get off this planet!"
