| --One Week before the battle of New Serpentum-- It has been a busy day for many in the Imperium, diplomats swarmed across the stars to draw the remains of the Imperial forces for a operation that will either make or break the empire. The Imperials used what little influence they had left to draw new arrivals ranging from mercs to other smaller planetary governments that Helix threatened.Grand Imperator Zorbek also invited the GSU to the council to discuss the possibility of an military alliance for the duration of the crisis. All the diplomats would gather in Station Ive'rr 7's spherical war room to discuss terms and solutions to the crisis and the set the fate for the new Imperium. The Varanus stood alongside representatives from the former Reich and Kyodain factions eagerly awaiting the arrival of the others.----------@N4body@Degant123@Imaginationgonewildand whomever will represent the GSU---------- |

| It was a long journey for the Ananaki, having to make several stops on various planets to catch up on sleep and stock up on food. The X-series star ships may be the best of the best when it comes to speed and maneuverability. Even their Magi-tech turrets were considered quite powerful, but sadly these ships weren't exactly built for long-term space travel. But they had finally arrived; hungry, tired, and stressed. Xa'ra and Maq Ra'im sat within the darkened bridge of their ship, having the perfect view of Station Ive'rr 7. The symbol of Hope and Despair floated around the brown dwarf, numerous ships from fallen worlds drifted around the station like bees to a hive. The Ananaki wondered who else received an invite to the Council? After they had received clearance to dock their ship, which they took their time to do, they prepared themselves to see the leaders of this new alliance.*** Maq Ra'im was still sitting at the steering orb, dressed in his casual wear which consisted of a simplistic red sarong from the waist down. With hands laced behind his head he watched ships fly by the station, workers busying themselves at the docks, refugees trying to make the best of things...Xa'ra stared at her mate while she was gearing herself up. She understand the weight on the young warrior's shoulder. Ra'im was the youngest Council Member of Xiqalqa, now elected to be the face of the entire Ananaki Race and their Planet...what's left of it. They both had to fight for this opportunity, literally. Maq Ra'im had won the Challenge and managed to keep his place within the Council for the sake of their people. It was time for the Ananaki to swallow their pride and reach out to others...Xa'ra was wearing her light blue sarong underneath her armor. Strapped sandals that go all the up to above the knee, a studded leather V-shaped skirt where the sarongs peeks from underneath, her abdomen were shielded by a Narx'un chitin plate and held in place with red cloth, her top torso was covered in the sarong cloth, and one shoulder had linked chitin plates running down her sword arm. Then knees and elbows had a small chitin pad with spikes on. Her hair was tied up in a french braid before she turned to Ra'im. She sighed and brought his stuff over, he had a similar armor style to hers. She sat the armors down beside him, bringing him out of his thoughts as she began to braid his dreads, wishing to make him more presentable for the Imperium. Slowly Maq began to attach the armor pieces, "You're being more affectionate than usual...Nervous?" he asked his mate.Xa'ra gave him a small smile, "We should be, the fate of our existence rests in...whatever will happen in that room."Maq Ra'im rose from his seat, towering over Xa'ra as he lifted her up and sat her down on the console, taking care not to press any buttons. He simply stared at her, not knowing what to say before pointing at the shoulder pad. Xa'ra helped him adjust it, making sure the padding wasn't bunching up underneath.*** The Ananaki were being escorted to the spherical war room. With tribal attire, dark goggles and weaponry on their belts along with the magi-tech handguard they were quite the attraction to see. Why wouldn't they? They looked like primitive savages in space...They both took their place within the war room, inclining their heads in greeting to some familiar faces.

| It was a interesting day for Thomas, for just few days ago he had to endure the biggest fiasco in his life, the Omega campaign that was ended before it could have started, at the very least his ship and it's crew did not suffered any casulities, yet it was still considerible setback in his grand plans for a great comeback into the sphere of galactic politics. Then he had met a diplomat from a Empire that was driven into less than considerible status on the galactic stage by this Helix virus he heard so much about, this diplomat was tasked with gathering people, orgnisations and overall anyone willing to band togheter against Helix, this had given Lord Victus a opurtunity for which he would have to search all corners of the galaxy for. He had agreed to come to this meeting and to lend his forces but under one condition that he would be able to meet the main leader of the Remenats of this Imperium,in private, diplomat of course was hesitent but when Victus had said something about certain "Ace in a sleeve" that had a potential to give them numbers needed in such a war........ well let's just say that it was clear that they were in a desperate situation. So now Thomas is walking down the corridor with 2 of his soldiers serving as his bodyguards. When he finnaly entered the spherical war room he imiedietly started looking at the rest of the gathered, studying them from afar evaluating them, trying to know them even before exchanging words with them, truly a hard art to master but for a person who had to attend many meetings, partys and such, in his quest to become emperor, this art was truly priceless. Also his bodygurads looke like this

| Next in line to enter the war room was Admiral Yusuf, accompanied by three gigantic soldiers who wore some sort of power armour that stood them at 7ft tall. Two of them flanked either side of him while the third followed behind the three. The Admiral himself was wearing a ceremonial white uniform decorated across the chest with different medals of achievements. The supersoldiers wore slightly different variations of the same armour with minor modifications being made to suit each individual supersoldier's particular specialisation.
The Admiral stopped as he neared the center of the war room and looked around, taking note of all the representatives of different factoons gathered there. The three supersoldiers meanwhile examined the chamber for any potential threat; the defense of their Admital was a paramount directive in their heads whereas diplomacy would be handled by the Admiral himself.
Yusuf then proceeded to walk towards his seat and sat himself down. The supersoldiers instead stood around him, not caring if the display of protection could be percieved as odd by the other members that had gathered there. |

| It had been quite a ride from his ship to the council chambers. Unlike the rest of the people here, he had already served some time and tasks within the Imperium and understood a bit more of what was to be going on in the future. Some was mere speculation but, Altus could smell that their was some grains of truth among the bull shit. It didn't take him long to make his way into the council room. It appeared that there was quite a few people already there and Altus of course was the last one. Without a word, he moved to his own spot, a nice little area where he could see the faces of everyone and awaited to see what would be said in this.... interesting endeavor. |

| All the requested representatives had arrived and the council was now officially in session. The spokesman for the Varanus was the wise Viscount Raxus Imar, one of the few Varanus nobles to have survived the attack on New Serpentum, whilst his scars did heal he was left blind in his right eye and wore a strange mechanism around his blind eye that allowed artifical sight, his face was gored and one would not recognize the same reptile he was three years ago.
He was seated facing the other representatives in the hall with his back facing the one end of the spherical chamber that was repurposed into a half sphere for the diplomatic summit.Seated next to him on opposite sides was the Tech-King of Kyodain and Admiral Lon Mar of the Reich all acting on behalf of their respective fallen factions who have been assimilated into the Imperial remnants. Varanus guards clad in alabaster white power armour and gold robes stood at the entrances with their Vanaksite spears pointed to the roof. The Zikah guard kept a close watch on the various delegates and diplomats entering the room.
First to arrive where the Ananaki who appeared to be humans wearing tribal attire which reminded some of the Varanus of their ancient history, however these tribals where different from the humans present at the council, their ears pointed slightly like the elves in a way and they wore shaded goggles and carried dangerous yet primitive looking weaponry. They seemed to be a warrior race which some of the conservative Varanus immediately took interest in,their curious nature wanting to see what these Ananaki are capable of.
Next was a human,an apparent lord with a secret "weapon" to aid the Imperium against Helix and future foes, the human was dressed in strange garments and had with him two bodyguards clad in armour,he also requested to meet with the main leader of the fallen empire which would of course be Grand Imperator Zorbek who was not present in the Council as he was elsewhere on the station for the time being.
Next was the GSU delegation which consisted of a man clad in white and adorned with medals, some sort of officer and several soldiers clad in power armour which impressed the martial Varanus whilst also being a cause for concern. The GSU was already in bad terms with the Imperials and those who joined them most notably the Reich who took several actions against them in the past. Admiral Lon Mar grinned at the sight of the GSU Admiral but a slitted glance from the Viscount kept him reserved.
Last to enter was Altus of the Blackguard Coalition who assisted the Imperium one year ago in gaining information on Helix and recovering a copy of the Kyodain AI that had information on the Almisfall protocol, bits and pieces the Imperium had not yet deciphered. Since then these mercs have completed several contracts without fail, they had the full respect of the Varanus delegation.
After everyone took their seats the Viscount welcomed them from his seat,a data sphere floating next to him amplifing his voice.
"Welcome Zodarrin-Ka,honoured guests of the council of Restoration where we shall discuss the threat of this Helix virus and the reformation of the Imperial remnants and the former Kyodain and Reich forces into a new Imperium who's goal would be that to rebuild the North under a single unified banner." He paused.
"I am Viscount Raxus Imar, former governor of Argatu and head of House Imar and I will be representing Imperial interests, I do not recognize some of you so please introduce yourselves and give us your opinion and understanding of the Helix virus ravaging the North and former Nypherian sector." |

| The Ananaki turned their hidden gaze towards the crowd, making their own observations and judgements. They recognized a couple of them.
There were the reptilian Varanus, those that invited them. They didn't have many close encounters with the race but with the few they did have, they had taken a small liking to them. Like the bounty hunter Kaiyan, from what he told them the Varanus culture held some similarities with the Ananaki. Something they were curious about.
The humans...
In truth the Ananaki were biased about them. Once considered to be a lesser species in their eyes and muddled the blood of the Ananaki making them weaker. It's why they cling to their origins as much as they can while trying to purge the human genes from future generations.
If Maq Ra'im had to be honest he still didn't like humans much, he found them to be a bit reckless at times, destructive even and too power hungry. A species that is easy to corrupt with the slightest push. Why even here the leaders show up with bodyguards.
If they were that powerful, why do they need others to fight their own battles?
They didn't know who the humans were with the back-up but they did recognize Altus, a fellow Bounty Hunter. Hmm...They had yet to make a judgement about him. But they did recognize his strength and position as a warrior.
The Ananaki focused their attention to the Viscount as he presented his speech until he started to ask for people to introduce themselves.
Ra'im and Xa'ra looked around for a couple of moments, wondering who will start this off? But none answered...
Maq Ra'im took the initiative then. He leaned forward in his seat, "I am Maq Ra'im, Hunter of Xiqalqa and 4th Council member of our Clan," he said before turning to Xa'ra.
"And I am his mate Xa'ra, also Huntress of Xiqalqa. We come from the planet Irkalla in the Far North." she added before letting Maq speak again.
He nodded at her and turned to the rest of the representatives, "We represent all of the Ananaki and our opinion of the Helix Virus is the same as everyone else. Why else would we be here." He paused for a moment, feeling he should add some more info about them. At least to gain sympathy of the Varanus to be considered for an alliance.
"When we heard of the Helix Virus, we didn't think much of it and do be honest we didn't care. It ignored us, most likely due to how remote our world is. So we got lucky, but after a close encounter during a mission we were on. One that Altus will remember..." Ra'im said as he nodded to the human. "Let's just say we do not wish to test that luck any further."
Xa'ra took over then, "The reason why we accepted the invitation, Viscount Raxus Imar, is because we know what it is like to lose your world. Our world has only recently been stabilized again and we have fought tooth and nail for it...Many have paid a heavy price for it...and as a species we are brought to the brink of extinction..."
A low growl came from Ra'im, his pride warning her about her choice of words.
"We wish to keep what is left of our origins for as long as we can. But we can't do that with a threat hovering near us." Xa'ra had heard the warning but she felt it was necessary. They had to stop being in denial, pretending that they were still a great race able to defeat anything coming their way.
After all...We are all prey to something bigger...

| As Victus observed the gathered, before th viscounts speech, he could discern a few things aleready for example the way the Ananakian representitive looked at him and other man, it wasn't disdain neceserly but still it was obvious that it looked down on them, well at least at him and GSU official, this armored fellow that came here last, the way Ananakian looked at him............. "Not exactly the look of respect but still hmmmmmm" Next was the GSU Offical was wearing a clearly ceremonial garb, quite nice looking if he could say so himself, not to mention the amount of medals, either a sign of great soldier or those medals were bought, thought he doubt that latter option was the correct one but still, one needs to have an opne mind look for every option, other than that this person's composure was obviolsy of that who took his job and himself seriosly and his choice of bodyguards, well this man clearly valued security while also showing the strength of his faction, because normal humans aren't that big usualy and power armor doesn't look the type that would give them additional height. last person the armored fellow he came here last and without bodyguards, a frontline commander it seems other than that this perosn look like the type that would booby trap entire room so he could just go safely to sleep. Soon after the last person entered the room their Host, Visecount Raxus, had welcomed them and introduced himself, after that he aked them to introduce themseles. After bit of akward silence one of Anankian got the unsubtle messeage that they should start talking "They were the first ones to arive so it is only logical that they should be ones talking first"
The way they spoke, clearly preidful creatures, not to mention that one of them groweld, at mention that they are at brink of extinction, other than that, the femael representative clearly spoke as to extract sympathies of their hosts. As soon as she concluded her speech Thomas rose from his seat for purpose that should be obvious by now
- My name is Lord Thomas Victus, the captain of my ship "The Royal Steed of Captalism" and once the leader of planet Roma Prime, ann my opinion about Helix virus is quite simple it is a danger to all living things in this galaxy and it must be stoped or else, I am here to help those that want to exterminate Virus.

| (Hi, dropping in on a faction thread to destabilize your order and ruin your days. Just kidding, but i feel that the remnants of the immortals should be present on this. Sorry for any inconvenience.) Late, after the meeting had already begun, a pirate branded ship sailed into the port to drop off a small number of pirates. It didnt look like it but these pirates had arrived on this 'meeting' to represent the immortals. Kat entered the building and had her juggernaut bodyguards kick the door open. Once inside she made a bit of a humble bow before making her way further inside. "Gentlemen... I think we all forgot about a former faction that used to be significant... The immortals? If you do you will recall that they held out against their enemy, on their own against allied forces. Yes, i am here to represent them on this meeting." The short hispanic elf made her way to an empty seat and sat down with a slick smile on her face. "Now today the immortals are mostly disbanded. But i still have my membership card and am still considered a member. Today, my pirate fleet are the closest faction to the immortals both in numbers, tech and strength. I am willing to assist you in this conquest to take back the northern galaxies by offering my pirate ships and armored support and pusher troopers. Of course for a price." She grinned and leaned back in her chair and looked around in the room, no doubt seeing alot of faces with repulsed and disgusted expressions, this usually happened when Kat showed up to a meeting. "But worry not, ill be fair for a change. In exchange for full input from my juggernauts, healers and space fleet including the destroyers wich can be a big help in taking down nypherian fighters i want only a few minor things. For one, i want any mistreated minority groups, especially when they're elves to be allowed refuge on Parhichi including any immortal refugees. Payment will not be necesary because ill be paying myself. By this i mean that i want salvaging rights of recoverable equipment formerly owned by the immortals to prevent their tech from being abused by other factions. This is how Tower would have wanted it. Also, im not interested in Apex-122 wich lies in shambles but i would like to dismantle and relocate imm'enne if that is a possibility." "I do hope im not asking too much, but rest assured that i will give you my Captain's word of not abandoning the ship. As mentioned before i have a large number of different troops to my exposal but the strongest i have are healers and juggernauts as well as the cure to the scythe-145 zombie virus that plagues the immortal sector wich wil no doubt come in usefull. On top of that i have intel about the military immortal campaigns on the terrain of the sectors." |

| As the doors to the War Room chamber burst open, the three super soldiers instinctively tensed up and gripped their weapons, raising them slightly as they all looked towards the entrance in unison.
Admiral Yusuf raised an eyebrow as he witnessed the less than formal entrance made by what appeared to be an Elf, listening keenly as she made her demands and whatnot. To be fair, her demands weren't unreasonable in any way. The GSU had no interest in acquiring the technologies of factions that had fallen to the virus. Their only concern was to be rid of the plague before it invaded their territory. If such a virus could so simply sweep the Northern sector of the galaxy clean, it stood to reason that they wouldn't survive against it either. And as far as anyone in the GSU was concerned, at this very moment, he represented these concerns and interests.
After the elf had finished talking, Yusuf stood up and cleared his throat. "I am Fleet Admiral Yusuf Al Thani of the Galactic Systems Union Council. First and foremost, I'd like to make it clear that our interests align with everyone elses. We too would like to direct all of our efforts to neutralising the growing threat as soon as possible, and we know that such a feat can only be accomplished with the effective cooperation between our respective factions. The GSU is willing to lend troops, supplies and military hardware to the cause of seeing this virus wiped from the galaxy. The time is now to stand together and not against each other. Past alliances or rivalries do not matter in the grander scheme on things.. not when the fate of the entire galaxy hangs in the balance. I sincerely hope we can organise a successful coalition here on this day in order to serve the greater interests of everyone sitting here today - which is survival." He paused for a moment before nodding and sitting back down. |

| It was interesting to see what each person thought on what the discount said but, it irked him that these no honor having pirates would even step in and make demands for what they would need to be willing to assist in something that even the GSU is offering to helpnwith without a price. As after the GSU representative finished speaking, Altus Reine quickly took the floor. "Although a few may know me from prior missions, let me.go ahead and introduce myself. I am Altus Reine of the Blackguard Coalition. You can already consider me and my forces as a ally to taking down the Helix. However.... I am disgusted by these pirates..." he pointed his hand to Kat as he spoke "who dare ask for something in return in fighting a problem that is everyone's. You want us to give you not only people and tech buy, a entire planet? On your word as a PIRATE captain? You pirates have no honor? You would stab a man who pays you just to see off he has more coin. Unless you can promise to help without the Empire offering you anything except asking these people you want on whether they would go with you or not, then I move for the council to not just dismiss the Drosden Fleet from this glorious campaign but, to aloffer no help when we drive the Helix out of the North and into those territories. Let them suffer for their impudence, I dare say!" |

| The sudden entry of the pirate Kat caused some distress, the Zikah Guard lowered their spears as the pirate took her seat followed by her armored guard and the glance of the Viscount assured them that their rushed entry is allowed....The introduction of bodyguards from both the GSU and the Drosden was a insult to the Council and it's Imperial hosts, unwittingly sabotaging the trust the Imperials are trying to establish.Did they not trust the word of the Grand Imperator Zorbek?
Without delay the 'Immortal' representative had already made demands rather then provide solutions, something Altus Reine of the Blackguard Coalition had kindly pointed out with vigorous agreement from several of the Imperial delegation some being former Immortal officers themselves. They would shout agreements and demands to kick out this pirate from the Council.....
The Zikah Guard pushed their spears up and down from the floor causing a echoing clang that drowned the conversations in the Council, the Viscount lowered his hand and breathed his frustration away as he prepared to speak. "I remember asking for the Immortal representatives preferably the giant Viktor who we have met on many occasions....No matter..Miss Kat...You insult this meeting by making demands so...openly...We are here to discuss the Helix virus and the alliance of the various nations of this galaxy to prevent it's spread....If I remember correctly the Immortals once had the honour of helping against such evils...Evils such as the Ayil that unleashed that bio-weapon your people had developed. You claim to hold a cure." The Viscount grinned. "We developed one two years ago,it was Imperial science that saved our human citizenry from your people's misguided science....But at a cost...." The Viscount tapped on his table, dim holograms flickered and quickly dissipated as the doors opened to a gasmasked figure.
The figure was sickly pale, heavy breathing could be heard as the figure entered the room walking towards the Viscount. The figure's bald head was littered with red arteries and the smell of chemicals followed him.He stood on attention to the Viscount and turned to face the council, placing his hands behind his back as the Viscount began to speak.
"If you recall the Imperium used to own a market world called Farnin, the duchy was a human world, ruled by it's human duke.....They had no chance....Once the virus was spread via infected infiltration it was able to spread among the overcrowded market places. We where able to blockade the planet and quarantine the spread of the parasitic virus to Farnin. But we where too late, our bio-engineers tried to decode the virus and where able to synthesize a retro-virus to cure it...But the damage had already been done...Private Umbra if you would please?"
The gasmasked figure slowly removed his mask to reveal a horrifying face, the face was slightly deformed and pale as it seemed that the disease had draw all of the colour and youth out of the private who stood with a painful grin on his face as he struggled to breath. The Viscount noticed his distress and ordered him to replace the mask on his face. The heavy breathing returned and the human left the council hall, the faint smell of medicinal chemicals still lingering in the chamber.
"My contempt for your people knew few boundaries and as our emperor welcomed the Immortal refugees to our planets,I spoke out in rage....I wanted to flay them, make them suffer....Yet they soon joined our struggle against Helix...I was forced to work alongside them to keep the empire afloat....I found my contempt petty as I heard their cries, their stories....Saw their blood scattered across battlefields among our own....My respect for the sun elves grew deep but I pitied them,as the Immortals fell apart we offered them a home, protection and order in a world that seemed lost to chaos...Some became citizens of the empire others still fought on the front unwilling to give a inch to the enemy."
The Viscount paused.
"So do not dare come here and make demands in exchange for your help....Do not dare pin this as the wishes of a dead warrior,I deny your demands but I will offer the Immortal refugees who wish to join you safe passage to your domain.I will leave it up to the Immortal delegation among ours to gather the few willing to go with you in exchange for your aid in the Campaign. If you refuse we have no choice but to ask you to leave and remain out of our affairs as we deal with the real problems of the galaxy." The Viscount grinned revealing faded old teeth. "So forgive me if I do not trust the word of a pirate I barely know."
The Viscount turned his horned head to the other delegates.
"I thank you all for attending this council, indeed the threat of the Helix virus is too great to ignore...Some of you may have been affected by this crisis, others being in danger of having these machines rear their heads on your worlds.I thank you all for your input" The Viscount said, peeking his enhanced eye to the Reich admiral who opened his mouth to speak against the GSU but was silenced not wanting to incur the wrath of the other Imperial delegates. The rivalry between the Reich and the GSU was still fresh despite not having taken official action against them in the past two years.
"Do not fear Maq Ra'im of Xiqalqa, our combined forces will no doubt banish this threat and if not,we will die gloriously on the battlefield that even long after our passing we will inspire awe in those willing to inspect our bones."
Lord Thomas Victus was clear and direct on his opinions of the threat and the Ananaki seemed to be great warriors both of which gained the Viscount's respect.
"I understand that the GSU is already engaged in conflict with the Helix forces,we wish to co-operate in retaking back our former Core systems and to reestablish a foothold to push the Helix forces from the north.....If the GSU pushes from the south we could bottleneck the foe and split it's front in half making it easier to collectively identify key positions and make decisive operations....The Helix virus is a AI correct.....If I recall the Sigma Wars of my past we where able to defeat the Solsastian Flickr horde by destroying the AI Server controlling them....So I assume the same can be done for the Helix crisis?"
The Viscount turned to speak with the other chairpersons of the council as he awaited replies from the delegates

| Victus' message was short and clear, no fuss about it just like the Ananaki like it...for a human.
The admiral was about to speak when suddenly the doors of the War Room burst open as several individuals waltzed inside. Some of them being heavily armored.
Both the Ananaki thought that this was an attack, a trap perhaps?! Both stood up and placed their clawed hands on their swords before being stopped by one of the Varanus as he ensured them that all was well.
This council did not make a good impression on the Ananaki representatives...
Many questions and doubts came to them like how did pirates discover this place? Were they expected or not? And why does the Empire allow such impudence! Maq Ra'im couldn't help but growl in disdain for the elven female.
Meanwhile Xa'ra kept quiet and observed the juggernauts and the elf. Elves seemed to be of the 'stringy meat' variety...not everyone is a fan of that but they make good beef jerky for long hikes.
They calmed down while the pirate leader spoke and introduced herself. Until she started to make demands in exchange for assistance in the war against the Helix Virus.
Xa'ra turned to her mate exchanging looks to each other and soft growls and groans. The fate of their existence hangs in a balance and she wants to make negotiations??
Maq Ra'im rubbed his bearded chin in annoyance, the female either aid them or bud out, he thought to himself.
The admiral seemed to try to ease the minds of the other attendees by explaining the things their faction could offer to aid in the war. It seemed to work for a little bit until another human spoke up, Altus Reine.
Maq Ra'im wholeheartedly agreed with Altus, "There is no place for pirates in this room! And whatever they offer we can as well." His voice was laced with soft rumbling of a roar as he spoke. But in this cacophony of noise as people try to talk over one another in outrage it was barely heard.
Xa'ra tapped away on her PDA on her wrists as the Zikah guards demanded order within the War room so the Viscount could speak up again.
Both Ananaki listened but were a bit confused when the Viscount spoke of another virus...This galaxy was a mess...And it only furthered proved their assumptions when a victim of said virus walked into the room to demonstrate the damage it did but also the effectiveness of the cure.
Xa'ra was silently praying to their ancestors, thanking them that their species was immune to deceases...As did Maq Ra'im, especially considering their 'blood weakened' over the generations. Both subtly covered their noses whenever the masked figure passed them by, the chemicals strong for their sensitive sense of smell.
Xa'ra gave a small chuckle when the viscount ended his response towards the pirate's demands as she tapped away on her PDA, retrieving information that the Ananaki species had gathered about the Helix Virus. Anything from footage, to reports, to even articles from other species and testimonies.
You see, the Ananaki had the habit of recording everything. They believe that sharing intel with their entire species only makes them stronger as everyone is up-to-date with everything and on the same page. Which makes for a very knowledgeable species. Especially one that can live for millions of years...
Maq Ra'im listened to the viscount as the reptilian assured him of their future together and if not...they'll make sure the galaxy remembers them...
Now that they were starting to discuss tactics and intel on the Helix Virus, the Ananaki could present the intel they have gathered over the last couple of months.
Xa'ra and one of the Varanus were helping her hook up her PDA to their computers so she could upload their findings and hopefully share it with the rest of the people using the holograms. Meanwhile Ra'im began to explain, although he glared at the elf first, wishing she wasn't here to hear this.
"The Ananaki will offer air support from our space crafts, our technology is almost all magic-tech based and will be most likely unhackable by the Helix-bots. We designed our ships and tech where..." He trailed off when his gaze rested on the pirate again..."...where certain 'skills' and knowledge is required."
"Our warriors are skilled in both close and ranged combat, however we excel in close-combat more and the use of dark magic." he said as he glanced at Xa'ra as she finally got the information translated to the galactic trade language.
As she pushed a couple of keys a large hologram displayed itself above the center of the table, granting everyone a good view of their intel as Xa'ra took over.
Turning to the Viscount first before addressing the others, "We agree with you on the theory that the Helix-bots must be controlled by some sort of central server or network..."
The hologram began to display bits and pieces of footages, articles, and reports spread across the galaxy speaking about the origins of the Virus.
"We believe these 'rumors' hold some truth to them; the Helix Virus had origins on a planet called Helix Prime but it seems to have vanished or destroyed. We believe it might be because Helix 'outgrew' its need and moved on to something bigger. Hidden somewhere within their territory, so bottlenecking and splitting the forces might increase our chances on finding it. Weakening them. So when we do so we must keep an eye on any change of patterns or strategies they use, those that will seem in more disarray will be the ones cut off from the server. Or so we hope..."
The holograms moved to footage of Helix-bots, an encounter that Altus might recall on their shared bounty mission. Then accompanied with more pictures and short footages of what seems to be factories in the distance of a ruined landscape.
"Helix does not care about 'perfect' warriors, only functional ones and in large disposable numbers even going as far as taking over other AI. Something that you may recall by having to fight former allies that have been turned into mindless drones. This is psychological warfare,..." Xa'ra paused for a moment to look at the picture of a drone, "Forget about them," she crudely said,"We are uncertain if they can be cured and if they can it will not be a good life. We suggest you put them out of their misery instead..."
She moved on then to the factories, "These towers are where the new bots and drones are being manufactured, while drilling into the planets for resources. We haven't managed to get any blueprints of the factories, yet. But it's been theorized that such a facility needs a very powerful and volatile core. We need to infiltrate them to stop the spread."
She turned to Ra'im, letting him pick up the conversation again, "The Ananaki shall infiltrate in these facilities, we are trained for these missions and are more hardy and in need of less equipment than you. And we might be able to hack the computers to see if we can find the location of the server." |

| Just after Victus returned to his seat and blended to the shadows, somehow.......... I mean realy this fact even baffelled Victus himself, but before he could properly dwell on this strange thing that happens to him incredibly often and also against all laws of physics "Seriously It is if I was sitting in a dark corner of the room all the time even if the room is a sphere or my seat is in the middle of it" ..... Very(Ok not very because they only met once, in Kats case, her life, and in case of Victus, in his one lifetime) fmiliar person waltzed into the room, the Captain Kat of the Drosden Pirate fleet, first person who deliberetly went under his skin a person for whom he could only feel one thing.......... Mild dislike....... Yeah what did you expect? For him to be all Claw like and go "NEXT TIME KAT, NEXT I WILL GET YOU", no no no no, Victus isn't like that, he is more subtle than that, if he was a saturday-morning villain he would already get up and start screaming at her or some shit like that, No he would wait for response of others, which he got after Kat made her demands, which was very much a rude thing to do, go to a meeting where you weren't even invited and then just waltz up there with 2 havely armored bodyguards and start making demands, if she wants to make an show of force then she should take lessons from GSU representetive, but we are geting off topic. The first one to speak was, coincidently, GSU representative who seemed to ingored things that Kat said, only saying that we should stay calm and "Not to look into teeth of the given horse" and said what GSU could bring to the table, his profesionalisim was truly comendable. Next one was the armored fellow, Altus Reine, name worth remebering, who was very direct with his discontent with apearence of the Pirates, to be fair saying that Pirates have no honour should be well known and saying it out loud is kind of retundednt, but with many other points he brought up Victus couldn't agree more, also this gave him an idea to drive the final nail into the coffin of those pirates geting things out of this deal, his own testimony which will, or at least he hopes that it will, invalidated the word of Pirate Captain even more but he should wait and see what his host and soon-to-be Anankian ally has to say about this situation and what he heard pleased him greatly, both Visecount and Ananakian dellegetes bereted Pirates in fashion that he found quite funny, after that they went to talk over tactical information which would be most useful in coming Campaign. As soon as talking stoped he left his seat and stood up and started speaking - Dear delegates I may have some interesting infromations concerning our unexpected pirate guest, Captain Kat, this information shall be, in a way, addendum to what Mr. Reine had spoken about dishonorouble nature of those Pirates, you see before I came here I actulay had plans on taking over Omega as to make this Scumpit of the galaxy into and orderly place where people can invest their money, maybe even a forward base for those seeking to take on Helix virus or other activities concerning this humongous threat, yet the station was under attack by those Pirates, now I could obviously turn around and leave the space near Omega but I am not one to just give up on any obstacels, so I opened a comunication channel to discuss an option oof turning over the ownership of the station to me, let's just say that before negotianions concluded our Pirate Captain here decided to blow big part of Omega up, which should speak badly about her being a trustworthy person. But now to get to tactics, I belive that strategy of cuting Helix territory is a sound one, other than that I could mention a load of things that should be rtaher obvious so obvious in fact that they do not need examples.
After that speech he returned to his seat |

| It seemed that most of these people wanted her to leave, sadly though that only ment she would try harder to stay because of her tenacity. She rolled her eyes at most of the commentry but was shocked by the horribly disfigured face of the 'treated' soldier. Did these idiots do viral reseach when they worked on a cure? Did they really not know the scythe virus was a parasite and not a virus? It seemed that they needed Kat and the fleet much more than they thought or wanted to think. She stared in awe until the soldier put his mask back on and waited for him to leave. He didnt need to know that his state was unnecesary just yet. When he or she (Kat couldnt really tell anymore) was gone she pulled a small vial with a bright purple looking liquid that had about the same color as her eyes. "i-i think you people need us more than you realize. For one, the immortals have a massive amount of sentry turrets both on their planets and their whole space teritory. The ground defenses include .50's, death rays, arc razors and plasma fusion rounds and without carefull aproach your troops will step into a meatgrinder. And that is if you get past the border patrol turrets that are scattered across their teritory. Those things are capable of tearing my fleet apart if i werent authorized to enter the teritory. And more importantly, the immortals produced a fast acting antivenom before word of the bio weapon got out. The infection takes somewhere between 3-6 minutes to fully take effect and what i have here is a fast acting toxin that kills the parasite before it can even reach the brain while leaving other organs unharmed. Wich prevents your troops your troops from becoming zombies while keeping them from turning out like that poor soul." She stood up from her chair and made her way to the door before giving a glance back. "But if you prefer to have me out of the project and step into a sentry covered sector that i can simply disable, i'll take my leave..."

| The meeting seemed to escalate quickly, all in response to the female Elf's dramatic entrance. Altus Reine was the first to voice his displeasure at the pirates' presence in the war room.
So they were pirates... Yusuf furrowed his brow. There were minor reports of non-GSU commissioned activity taking place within their territories. Reports of pirates salvaging their technology - infantry weapons to be specific. Knowing the newest arrivals to be the culprits now, Yusuf changed his personal stance on their demands and decided to stand against whatever they asked for.
His stance was only backed up by The Viscount's blunt reply to the pirate's demands. Yusuf wasn't necessarily a squemish person. He had seen his fair share of bloodshed and corpses, mutilated and charred. However the appearance of the diseased man in the chamber, especially after he removed his mask horrified him. While his outside expression remained stern, if slightly worried, internally he felt sorrow for the man who was clearly suffering from his condition.
He then listened intently as everyone proceeded to strategise against the virus. The Viscount's idea of attacking the enemy from multiple fronts was a sound one. Losses were definiely to be expected but Yusuf was no stranger to that expectation. What had to be done, had to be done. No matter what the cost. He'd never imagine himself in a situation where he'd be standing alongside those that he considered enemies to the Union. It went to show that times had drastically changed, and ultimately no one knows what bizarre things await them in the future.
Soon, more criticism aimed at "Kat" came from Lord Thomas Victus. If anything, it further solidified Yusuf's opinion on her faction. Finally, she herself spoke up about how much use she and her pirates would be to the war effort. A vain attempt in Yusuf's eyes, but he wasn't so arrogant to think that she wouldn't be useful as all. However, something made him feel that perhaps she'd be more of an obstacle than ally in this conflict.
He once again stood up. "We have indeed engaged the virus from our side. The Union has dispatched multiple strike forces comprising of Knight's to engage the enemy head-on while some of our Elite Troopers have dropped into enemy territory to gather intel. One thing is for certain." Yusuf paused as he looked over to Maq Ra'im. "Helix Prime is most definitely the origin of this plague. It was the original birthplace of the Helix robotics company founded by Daniel Almis. We are inclined to believe that the virus is a result of some sort of failsafe protocol gone wrong in the event of his death. As mentioned before, we already have a strike team comprising of Elite troopers behind enemy lines, gathering more intel on this virus. Meanwhile, I can guaruntee full cooperation of our ground forces in pushing the enemy back. Our newest Omega Legionnaire super soldiers will be of the greatest help in this conflict." He turned to look at Kat, who was heading towards the exit. "And we have more than enough of them to dismantle this... meat grinder with or without additional help from a few pirates." He said the last part in what sounded like contempt.
He then looked back at the Viscount, nodded in respect and sat back down. |

| Altus scoffed at the pirates weak attempt to threaten them. "Do you believe us to be fools? With the combined might of all our forces and resources, those obstructions you speak of can be measured, quantified, and taken down methodically. You under estimate us and you over estimate your position. I may not speak for the rest but, unless you change to a more friendly tone, then you will not have my nor the Coalitions support in protecting your people. Maybe you should think less of what you can gain and more of the lives you would be saving because, when we push their forces back... make no mistake, the Helix forces will be at your door and it will be you against them with no help and then it will be your people in a meat grinder." Altus shook his head. "I tire of these pirates. Pardon my... negativity, this should be a most glorious day for the rest of us. I would like to thank you all for being here. While I may not be the host of this assembly, I can say, the thought of us all fighting alongside us for the sake of the sake of good and atleast on my end, some profits, is more than to warm my gun barrels, wallet, and reifoced cybernetically replaced heart. Now, since weve all said our pretty words..." Altus waited for the pirate to leave before pulling up a diagram of worlds. "What kind of hell are we gonna rain on these sorry ass Helix machines?" |

| The Imperial delegation entered hushed debate with eachother, the Varanus spoke in their alien tongue arguing over the strategy and need for the council to co-operate to remove the Helix threat.
"Raxus,Mar'ver kress ontra ma Zodarrin vo Mechkra....." addressed one of the Varanus delegates clad in shadowy black robes, the Hand of Kumaktole had doubts of the outside help actually honouring the council, the hand had all rights to be skeptical given the nature of his work,he was driven deep into old traditions and his order was used to the Machiavellian politics the Imperium and their rivals had shown long ago between one another. Few others had shown contempt for the change the Imperium was undergoing, they still carried the illusion of Varanian superiority....Their thoughts would cause trouble for the empire in the future.
The Viscount banished this idle talk and reminded the Imperial delegates of the new vision of the empire, one of unity and understanding.....Some states had already sworn allegiance to the empire, they would serve as the architects of the new Imperium,it's ambitious and noble dukes and duchesses....Whilst the Varanus will serve it,like they always have.
"The Imperium stands ready....Given light of the new intelligence provided by the Ananaki..." He said as he watched the holograms of steel towers built in the ruins of once lush and prosperous cities, now rendered dead and lifeless as the machines gather every resource they can to fuel their steel legions. "I'm ever more convinced that this Helix-crisis is a threat not just to every sentient lifeform but to all organic life itself,look...the plains surrounding those factories are dead, ashen soot rests upon what was once fresh green valleys....I will not stand for this perversion of life any longer.....These machines are nothing more but a twisted mirror of life and must be brought down..I'm sure many share this statement but we must not forget those that have fallen for this mistake....Helix was built by an organic as is all machines.....Thus the blame falls upon all of us.....Will we sit idly by and watch our mistakes destroy the galaxy....'Zora mekaar' I will rather die with sword and claw then cower.
The GSU offered their support and have already engaged the Helix machines, given the aid of the Imperium and it's newfound allies and the aid of the pirates as a expendable force at best it seemed that the crisis might be brought under control.
The Imperial delegation roared in agreement and the Council took a short intermission break, where refreshments and assorted snacks where served by neatly dressed servants, while the Imperium may be edging towards collapse the illusion of grand luxury still made them seem powerful and prosperous,an useful tool in political diplomacy, one that had little clout given the current situation. It was during this meal session that some of the Immortal delegation started discussing the clout of Kat's presence in the Council.
Captain Viktor of the Imperial-Immortal citizenry had discussed contempt towards Kat's request to salvage the remains of the Immortals that was left behind after their fall but given the potential cost and diversion of resources the Imperium would have to commit to eliminate the remains of the forgotten Immortal security would be trivial if Kat could indeed disable it...The cure might have value to prevent future infections but the "afflicted" already wore the scars of a weapon the Immortals had no business of possessing.He passed his thoughts to the Viscount during the break whilst his assistant Gyz kept spewing out details about the P.I.F,to be honest he seemed to be thinking out loudly claiming that the Cykx will destroy the Helix singlehandly using their advanced technology that was beyond anything Helix could counter.... {The Engineering Corps still laugh about the claim}
One of the servants was a fish-like lady that stumbled once or twice whilst carrying a tray of Ivoriian Nectar, and slipped causing the tray to fall unto Kat,she stumbled trying to repair her damage muttering sorry until she realized who she was rubbing with a cloth. She screamed with a voice that echoed across the hall. "REEEEE...." She yelled with glee... "It's little kat!,the pirate...the good pirate."
The Viscount chocked on his meat at the word....
"You know this guest miss...er..."
"Vicyeth..."
"Ah yes I've heard of you....Tell me what you know of this pirate."
She would drone on about Kat being a good and nice person which was directly in contrast to the opinions and introduction she had given. The Viscount had his doubts but decided to give the pirates one chance to redeem their clout in the Council.
The Council quickly returned to the topic and the servants including Vicyeth left giving a small bow,the Viscount began to speak once again.
"I've decided to give the pirates one chance....one...more chance to redeem themselves in our eyes, you will give us the sample of the cure for the parasitic virus so that the Medical Corps can distribute it to the remaining human population as well as to the GSU.....You will be obligated to provide military aid in the Helix-Campaign but you will be under the direct command of the Grand Imperator himself, should you deviate from our orders then we will terminate our alliance with you....As for Lord Victus, the Ananaki and Altuis....You have given your allegiance to our cause,to join under our banner and to assist us in rebuilding the North....Together we can prosper and protect our interests....One banner of many races..."
The Viscount paused and grinned as he felt the scars that did not regenerate.A grim reminder....The Imperium reborn for a third time however this time they had no Emperor, they had no vision save that from the Imperial Court and their goals to rebuild the North. It would be a simple matter to ascend to the throne given the Viscount's popularity but it was not tradition.....Laws as old as he was where to be respected...The Sagess tenants called for a rite of passage, one the empire could not commit to during wartime.....So for the moment the Viscount was content with leading the Imperium alongside the Grand Imperator and the other surviving members of the Imperial Court.
Altuis was eager as was the others in starting the Campaign.
"Well we will make these machines regret ever awakening, with the GSU pushing from the South and launching strikes deep in Helix space,we can push up North and deploy hit and run tactics to determine the location of the so-called Helix Prime."
The Viscount tapped his claws on his table and the room darkened as a hologram map of the galaxy was projected above the heads of the council. The north was divided into several sectors.
"It's simple.....We divide our forces on these fronts, since the area is rather vast it would take a large force to protect the worlds leading to Helix Prime,so as we put pressure on Helix it would divert forces from these sectors to one specific sector, that will narrow down the search to one sector of this conflict and there we will have to place our main forces....It's a risky strategy but we cannot go about taking planet after planet despite our powerful armies....The cost would be far to great."
The Varanus have mastered galactic warfare after being embroiled in one for almost two millenia, they had a way of approaching war with a direct pragmatic eye...They knew that if the war drags on,it won't be Helix destroying the galaxy.
"Your call delegates...."
The Viscount sat back in his seat and awaited their responses |

| Kat waited a while before she was sure she could stay. She nodded at Viktor before sitting down. Soon the factions begun discussing their aproach to the virus, Kat already had a plan sketched out though, she cleared her throat and stood up before laying some sort of holographic projector on the table wich showed a map of the galaxy. The difference between this and the other maps would be that this one took Drosden presence into acount. "Gentlemen. I have here a concept for the aproach to the helix virus teritory. As you can see the immortal teritory is neighbooring our starting area but i believe we should completely ignore that and head for Temprent first. This is not because i want my refugees to have a home up first, as a matter offact i highly illadvise Temprent ever being used as a real colony. As GYZ may know, Temprent has many Cykx marine breeding farms that each can produce around 30 Cykx marines and arm them in an hour. These factories are controlled by an immobile, sentient being that the Cykx refer to as the mastermind." "The mastermind is the only being that the Cykx obey above the Vohx rulers. Of course with it being hijacked by the Helix the Cykx we have a number of Cykx that temporarily refer to the Vohx. Regardless, the mastermind has been ignored by the helix forces and the factories have been idle. I suggest that we go to Temprent as soon as possible to liberate the mastermind and put those factories to work. If we can defend the industry district from helix forces for 24 hours the factories will have produced a Cykx invasion force large enough to overrun Helix control of Temprent. I know how to work the Cykx factories so any damage done by Helix neglect can be fixed easily. If we keep Temprent safe we will have an invasion force large enough for an entire system in just a week." "Temprent also has factories capable of producing ships, battle vehicles and weapons. These factories are conveniently placed in the same district but they're not a breeze to defend. For one we need to keep any sort of structural damage away from it, both of our own and from helix forces. With the immortal technology i have though i can set up some perimeters and make it mostly defendable but i cant do it alone. The city's shields have been down since helix forces arrived so my spies are expecting both zombies and hivestalkers to be common third party threats." "Then for the other immortal planets, they do not have a high priority or any sort of benefit other than that Imm'enne and Apex-122 are defendable." She selects imm'enne on her holomap and shows a half of the planet, showing the layers of the planet. "My spies have reason to believe that Imm'enne has not been taken by Helix forces due to the design of the planet. Imm'enne has spikes and autonomous anti air defenses on the outer shell wich was the reason that hostile troops never set foot on Imm'enne. It was designed to either shoot ships down or have them crash into these mountain high spikes that cover the planet. The ground was filled with death ray and quadruple mounted 50 cal machine gun sentries wich shredded the survivors of the crash. Helix forces, even with nypherian ships shouldnt have been able to get through this defensive line." "And even if they have, the second part of actually getting to the control panel that's in the core is even more impossible. There are 7 floors of planet wide mazes that are filled to the brim with death traps, automated defenses and multiple authority questions. The grounds were filled with an acidic gas that prevented enemies from simply drilling through the ground and to even get to this floor they would have to hijack the elevator that goes to this floor of wich there is only one and has a code. The only way to surpass this was to work with an elevator that only responded to the person guarding it wich happened to be me~..." "Without my authorization the teleporters will jam and shut down and will only accept my retina scan, finger and hand print, voice recognition and a blood test and to even enable this test they would have needed a unique key that i still have... In addition, the teleporter was hidden and only comes out when, what do you know, i call it in my voice with a specific phrase. This intel is only known by me and everyone here. So unless the Helix forces have gotten through the 7 layers of planet sized mazes filled with sentries, trip mines, acid showers, trash compactor traps and death rays it's safe to say that Imm'enne could possibly still hold civilians that are inside. "For all that Imm'enne is easy to take, the problem is that it's in the middle of the helix teritory wich means that getting to it is less than easy. But with a large fleet it wouldnt be too hard. Apex 122 though is a different story, where it was much easier to acces to the public. Apex 122 is most definetly under helix control but as the automated defenses have a core program to not shoot any authorized personnel it is easy for me to use my authority and turn it against them. But for that i need to get to the extraction point wich is at the entrance and heavily defended." "However, due to an asmodian attack long ago there is an area in the shell that is weakened and much easier to break. If we stay close to the shell shortly after entering we can ignore most of the ground defenses and get to the extraction point where i can get to the restoration protocol." Kat's holo simulations displayed the planets and accompanied everything she said very well. After it showed the part of the apex campaign though it turned off and switched to images of Kat's fleet and the troops she has available. Wich for a pirate seemed ridiculously varied and advanced but it was mostly immortal tech. "In the campaign outside immortal teritories i cant do terribly much with my authorizations. But i will lend my full support on this campaign. My mosquito hunter ships are quite large and are the best cut for taking out large amounts of hostile fighters in addition to having heavy artillery that can be used in air to ground missions while the berserkers i have provide excellent armor and boarding capabilities. On the ground i have a large amount of armored vehicles ranging from gladiator tanks to syntax mobil artilleries. My troops are already known to alot of you and boast the heaviest armor available along." |

| Yusuf nodded and said thanks as one of the servants handed some food to him. He took a few bites, inspecting the snack he was consuming before looking over the other representatives populating the war chamber.
The supersoldier standing right next to him was as stiff in his posture as ever, almost like a statue. He held his Nightingale Plasma Rifle in the alert carry position, the only part of him moving being his head as he watched the servants and members of different factions move around to chat.
"Won't you have some, Sebastian?" Yusuf asked as he looked up at the armoured supersoldier. The one known as Sebastian looked back down at him. "No thank you sir, we've already had our meals aboard the ship." Yusuf nodded and went back to eating and looking around.
"Don't like the way some of them were looking at us." A female voice said. Sebastian looked over to the other supersoldier standing at the other side of Yusuf. Her armour configuration was slightly different than his, suited to her field speciality but nontheless, it was of the same type. "You talking about the Reich boys over there?" Sebastian said as he nodded in their direction. "Goes to show that some people never really grow up. The galaxy's at risk and some of us are still holding grudges." Sebastian looked over the different people populating the war room, engaged in chatter or handing out snacks. "You know... some of those look really good. You up for a few bites Nat?" "No. And neither are you. We have a job to do, so let's not get sidetracked Sebastian." She replied sternly, while looking about the chamber. "Sheesh, ain't my fault you ate too much before we left." He responded. |

| The Council settled down and the Viscount raised himself and his voice.
"Very well,if all other options and suggestions are on the table then it is with great pleasure that we establish the first Galactic Alliance against the mutual Helix threat. We will cooperate on skirmishes as we narrow down the primary network of Helix and until Helix is destroyed we urge no hostile action between our signatories meaning neither the Imperium,GSU or Drosden Fleet has the authority to attack one another lest it causes the collapse of this alliance."
The Viscount took his seat
"May the Five and your gods keep you safe in the coming campaign and when this is all over let us stand upon the ruins of Helix's hubris and tell tales of vigor and victory to our kin!"
