| A day after leaving Apone's farmhouse Kitty and Jaya were approaching the surface of Phoenixspire in a small shuttle. Piloting the ship was a standard droid which allowed both of them to be sat in the back preparing for landing. Jaya had let her white hair down and donned a blue cloak around her shoulders that hung to her waist. This concealed a basic shortsword, the weapon she was bringing in place of Blightslayer. Once ready she stood by the back ramp, hand gripping one of the safety handles above. Giving a glance aside to her mother she smiled. "Thanks for coming." She said. "I don't exactly know what the kingdom is like these days. It can't be good considering they've not been heard from in decades." Her head lowered as the ramp began to open. "I just hope there's something left; for the students sake." As the ramp opened a green field came into view, the grass swaying in the wind of the shuttle's thrusters. What was also clear though were the approaching soldiers, each adorned in armour that was clearly rusted and old. They stopped just before the ship and allowed their captain to stand infront. "Visitors, state your business here." @KittyYoungblood |

| Kitty was dressed more formally, a navy blue turtle neck with dark jeans tucked into boots with a long black coat over it. Her hair was up in its usual ponytail and she turned to her daughter to give her a brief smile, "You're welcome. I haven't been to the kingdom in a long time either. Perhaps we haven't heard of them because they have no interest in us."
She had a sword trapped to her side as well, and two gun holsters under her coat. Kitty didn't like guns very much, they weren't as reliable as a blade. She got off the ramp with her daughter, looking at the captain with a raised eyebrow. She turned to her daughter, allowing her to speak first considering she was the reason the both of them were there. |

| "I am Jaya Almis, daughter of Dan Almis." She announced to the group, standing straight to give off as much of a presence as possible. "I've returned to see my kingdom." At her words the guards exchanged worried glances, ultimately looking to their captain for orders. After a few seconds of narrow eyed examination from the captain, he made his decision and drew his sword.
Jaya reacted before the rest of the guards drew theirs and lunged forward at the captain. Swiftly she kicked his chest to send him stumbling backwards, allowing her time to draw her own sword unhindered. With steel now brandished she swung a low slice at one soldier, catching the gap between his chestplate and legs. Whilst his stomach poured with blood her sword continued on to meet with another soldier's blade, locking for a second whilst she only hoped her mother handled those behind her. |

| Kitty didn't move as two soldiers advanced on her, preparing their swords for a swing aimed at her chest. In the blink of an eye her hands caught their blades, blood dripping on the ground but it didn't seem to bother Kitty. Her hands glowed with fire, the blades beginning to melt in her hands. Then she yanked the blades together as she took a step back, watching as two soldiers bonked heads and also impaled each other from the force of her yank.
Kitty then turned to two more soldiers, looking bored and burning the blood off her now healed hands. "Come on now, I don't have all day. Well I do but I have better things to do than kill a bunch of beginners." Lightning fast she withdrew her blade just as they rushed her with theirs, but all they struck was air. Kitty had ducked under their blades swinging her arms out behind her, each one slamming into the backs of the soldiers and sending them sprawling on the ground. She made quick work with stabbing one of the downed soldiers in the throat, although she stopped for a second, as if mesmerized as the blood oozed from his neck.
She was only broken from her trance when the other soldier rose from the ground, taking another swing at her which she barely side stepped. His sword skimmed her cheek, a drop of blood slipping down her face from the thing scratch. "Cute." She commented just before she cut off his head with a forceful strike. |

| Their blades locked for a few seconds until Jaya pulled hers back suddenly, causing the man to stumble forwards past her. In this vulnerable position she kicked him in the back of the leg, now forcing him onto his knees. With a firm grip she took a hold of his chin from behind, placing her sword forcefully against his neck. By this time the captain had arisen to find the rest of his men dead and one taken hostage by Jaya.
"You're making a mistake, bitch!" He shouted as he scrambled backwards for his sword. "The new King will not be usurped!" By the time he found his sword Jaya had slit the throat of his soldier. Before he could react she then nodded to Kitty, since she was behind the captain and in better position to finish him off.
Once clear, her gaze turned to the horizon where a tall tower stood in the distance. It's architecture swirled up to the statue of a large bird, although one of it's wings had clearly fallen off and the tower itself was in need of repair.
"Phoenixspire," She whispered almost to herself. "Looks like we head that way and find this 'new King'". |

| "Don't you know? Queens do it better." Kitty said mockingly from behind the captain, her sword was sheathed but there was blood lust in her eyes. She darted forward before the captain could even turn, jerking his head to the side and burying her teeth in his neck. She fed off of him until he was near dead, letting him drop as his blood oozed down her chin. "You really shouldn't have gotten in our way." Then she grabbed him by the hair, ripping his head clean off. She stared at it for a moment, then ripped off the cloak of the dead captain, wrapping the head in it. She tucked it away in her bag. "I'm sure the king would love this." She snickered to herself, straightening and not bothering to wipe the blood from her chin.
Kitty walked over to her daughter, standing beside her and looking at the tower with disgust. "Off to kill a king then, eh?" |

| Their journey was quiet and uneventful. Rolling hills of grass covered the scenery with a peaceful atmosphere that reminded them of any prospering kingdom. If not for the crumbling city ahead of them one would think this place was in it's prime. Finally though they reached the open gates of Phoenixspire, spotting the populace within. The city was very much still alive with people wandering about their daily business, carrying produce or farming equipment. Guards similar to those Jaya and Kitty had encountered dotted around the area but were unaware of any danger.
Approaching a group of such guards casually, Jaya smiled at them. "I wish to see your King." She asked politely. In reply the guards simply laughed at her. "Piss off love, unless you wanna be arrested!" "Yeah, and we know what happens to pretty girls in prison, eh lads?" The group laughed between each other like hyenas.
Jaya looked to Kitty, gesturing with her head towards the group. Whilst violence wasn't her first choice, it seemed these men might need the strength of a vampire to persuade them. |

| Kitty flounced up to them with a sickly sweet smile on her face, she tilted her head to the side and fluttered her lashes while she looked at them. "And do you also know what happens to those who get in my way?" Her tone was almost creepy with how saccharine it was. In an instant her fangs descended over her lips, her sickly sweet smile now more of a Cheshire grin. "They die." Kitty moved too quickly for the first guard, within a blink of an eye she was behind him and her teeth were buried in his neck. She took a quick feed, then went to snap his neck but she jerked too hard, accidentally twisting his head off. "Oops."
Kitty dropped the dead body, licking her lips with that Chesire grin on her face. "Anyone else?" One of the guards let out a battle cry, withdrawing his sword as others followed after him. Kitty wanted to laugh at their reckless stupidity, and so she did, which was actually a tad morbid and creepy but she was loving the rush of adrenaline running through her body. They quickly surrounded her in a circle, but she looked completely at ease, regarding them as if they were just misbehaving children. "If you're a tad squeamish sweetheart, I do recommend looking away." Kitty called out to Jaya, her eyes bright malice and blood lust. It wasn't an expression usually seen on Kitty's face, most often seen on Corsetta's face actually.
"Tell me boys, you ever play chicken?" The guards let out a snarl, "The dungeons are too good for you bitch, we're sending you straight to hell." Kitty frowned, waving her hand dismissively. "Been there, done that. Blew it up. Come on, hit me with your best shot." "You're mad." "As a hatter." The guards seemed to have had enough of her smart mouth, for they all began to rush at her in the circle. But she didn't seem to be moving an inch as they advanced. But at the last possible second when the blades were just about to touch her, she jumped. She used her fire powers to give her a boost, fire shooting out from the soles of her shoes and giving her enough air to jump over one of the guards.
The guards saw what just went on, but it was too late for them to stop their swords. They all met in the middle of the circle, each one impaling the other on their own blades. "That's how you play chicken boys." |

| Whilst the fighting ensued a crowd seemed to gather. Although normally a bloody fight would garner the most attention, their eyes were infact fixed upon Jaya. Little did the two know that this day had been spoken of in prophecy for years in the city. Whilst the King tried to silence any talk of one who would take his throne the people still whispered in secret. At the edge of the commotion an old man peered over Jaya, smiling slightly as he realised the day had come. "In the midst of tyranny and greed, when there looks like no hope of being freed. The Phoenix shall return in pure white, to save the kingdom as Queen of the Light." After the fight was over few guards remained. Scared for their lives they ran into the backstreets, not even brave enough to warn their king. With a satisfied smile Jaya continued onwards towards the palace at the center of the city. Peasants cheered as the two passed, some whispering the prophecy's words while others shouted extracts of it proudly. The city guard dare not do anything, as a mere glance from Kitty deterred them from action. Soon enough they reached the palace doors and the two guards there backed away slowly. Standing tall and wide the doors were securely locked, but even the thickest wood was vulnerable to fire and vampiric strength. "Well bringing you along seems like it's paid off." Jaya commented, the closest she got to sarcasm despite her parents personalities. Whilst she awaited the doors to be opened one way or another by Kitty, she straightened her cloak and readied herself. The Queen had returned to her palace. |

| There was a triumphant and cocky smirk on Kitty's face as she watched the guards turn tail and run, sauntering after Jaya and tucking her hands in her coat pockets. The fact that the guards didn't do anything to stop them, brought her a sick satisfaction, which she took to her advantage by pretending to jump at one. "Boo." She said and he turned tail and ran down an alley, a laugh escaping the vampire.
Kitty looked at the guards who began backing away, baring her teeth at one to make him move quicker. Kitty then looked to the door, not bothering to take her hands out of her pocket as she chuckled. She instead planted a flaming foot into the door as hard as she could, blowing it straight off it's hinges and leaving a large smoking hole in the middle. "Honey we're home!" |

| "Guards!" The King shot up from his chair, a finger outstretched at the now-broken door in signal of his guards. Unknowing of what had happened outside the six guards in the room drew their swords, moving forward to protect their liege. Once they formed a line between the two women and the King, they stopped awaiting any move.
"What are you doing?" The King shouted angrily, his other hand gripped the armrest of the throne tightly. He was a stocky man with black hair and a well trimmed beard. Clothing of royalty lay upon him but it was messy for regal standards. Even by looking at the poor state of the throne room one could tell this was no official royalty. The guards were mere brigands and the King was merely a man lucky enough to take power by force after the palace was empty.
Yet again Jaya nodded to Kitty and then to the guards, allowing her to have her fun taking them out while she walked forward and spoke to the 'King'. "I am Jaya Almis, the rightful heir to this throne." Her hand extended gently to point out the throne he sat upon, causing him to arch his eyebrows at both her words and the slaughter happening around her. "If you surrender it peacefully, we will spare you."
"To hell with you! The throne is mine!" It was clear the King was not going to give up his treasures. Quickly he drew a longsword from the side of the throne, stepping down from it to face Jaya. |

| "Yay, more toys for me. I've got some aggression to work out." Kitty faced the six of them, slowly withdrawing her own sword. Parts of the blade were still stained red with the blood of others. "Now, are you all going to line up one by one? Or you a bunch of unruly kindergartners who don't understand the fundamental concepts of lines?" Her eyebrow was arched, and that Chesire grin was reappearing on her face. The guards looked at each other then charged, this action causing Kitty to shake her head and sigh. "They never learn do they?"
Kitty dodged the first guard, his blade slicing the air an inch from her face. She grabbed the blade with her free hand, shoving it backward so that it smacked into the soldiers stomach. "Oof!" Down he went and Kitty ducked down and swung her leg out, sweeping out the legs of a soldier that was about to cut off her head Queen of Hearts style. "I quite like my head on my shoulders thank you very much." She stabbed her blade through the fallen soldiers neck, then yanking it out and straightening to turn and swing behind her as the first soldier got up.
Kitty's blade went clean through his neck as if it were nothing more than butter, his body hitting the ground with a clatter and his head rolling around on the floor. She looked to the four other guards who seemed to be assessing her. They were still standing close together, which gave Kitty an idea. She took the captain's head out of her bag, not bothering to unwrap it from the cloak as she set it on fire. "Fire in the hole!" She shouted just as she threw the severed head at the group with a massive amount of strength. It managed to catch one guard in the stomach, sending him backward and on top of the guard behind him. "Woo! Double points!"
The two guards that weren't hit by the flaming severed head stood on either side of Kitty, standing in fighting stances with their swords out. "Two on one? Now that isn't fair! You're grossly out matched!" Kitty taunted them and they snared, charging forward with battle cries. Kitty sighed and stood there, side stepping the blades at the last second which allowed the two guards to impale themselves. Then Kitty turned to the two guards that were just starting to get up again. She sheathed her sword, instead pulling out the two guns she had holstered under her jacket. With two quick shots, each guard had a hole in his throat and down they went. Kitty raised the guns to her mouth, blowing off the smoke. "I love the smell of gun powder and death." |

| Jaya dodged the King's first strike, using her momentum to draw her sword and strike behind him in one deft move. Her sword slammed into his armor releasing a clanging sound into the air. Grunting in annoyance the King turned to face her, grimacing in anger at her. In return Jaya simply smiled as if she were a kind friend.
Two more strikes came from the King but Jaya remained defensive, allowing his anger to deplete his energy after she had deflect the incoming blows. After his second he was too slow to pull back and received a cut to his thigh as punishment. Jaya then circled the man who was now slightly hunched but still had his sword up. Finally she made a move herself, dashing forward to catch his wielding hand. The King couldn't react well enough and was forced to release his sword else suffer a lost hand.
Falling backwards onto the floor, the King shuffled backwards away from Jaya. "Surrender." She allowed him that chance atleast. "Never, bitch." He almost whispered in reply. From her hand formed a yellow light, holy energy forming at her palm. Suddenly she then made a throwing action and the light became a spear flying through the air, penetrating the man's chest and digging straight into the floor. After a few seconds of guttering the King slumped backwards; dead.
"The city guard, they're all mercenaries. Once they found out he's dead they'll try take over." Jaya looked to Kitty as she sheathed her sword. "You're fast. Get to the guard barracks across the city and take out their leader." She gave a swift nod before turning to head back out to the streets.
She had a populace to address. |

| Kitty nodded and dashed out of the room, heading for the guard barraks. Using her vampiric speed she got there fairly quickly, not even out of breath as she broke the door down with her fist. "Hello boys. Let's make this quick shall we?" Kitty smirked, looking at the guards who had just previously been eating. One even had food hanging out of his mouth.
For several minutes all that could be heard was screams, battle cries, bullets being fired, and blades clashing. Then all was silent and Kitty walked out of the barraks with a satisfied smirk on her face, covered from bead to toe in blood. The only would on her body seemed to be a stabbed shoulder, but that was healing quickly. She sauntered back to the castle, stepping over the broken doors while whistling. "All done." |

| At the front of the palace a crowd of citizens had already formed, eager to see the result of Jaya facing their 'King'. When Jaya emerged unscathed from the building they cheered and rejoiced. Among the inner line of the crowd she spotted the same old man again, nearly crying with joy. Once the noise settled Jaya began to speak.
"The pretender is dead," Another cheer erupted. Years of tyranny and cruelty had now been ended. "I am Jaya Almis, daughter of Dan Almis. I am here to restore Phoenixspire to it's former glory. Together we will right the wrongs of the past and build a safe kingdom for magic to prosper." Her mind flashed back to Earth and the UNSC. She only hoped her students were still safe.
"A great darkness looms on the horizon, but we shall expand like never before and be ready to face it. We will be the light the galaxy needs. Whilst the UNSC fight among themselves we shall defeat the demons and avenge Heaven!"
It was almost as if the cheering would never stop, as citizens began dispersing to spread the word throughout the city. Others began cleaning up the bodies straight away whilst a few volunteers stepped forward to help build a new door. Among it all the old man from before stepped forward, nodding humbly at Jaya.
A few days later and already the Kingdom had improved. Without being forced to give up half their products to a corrupt King the farmers were producing an abundance of food for all. The strongest of the city and those inspired by Jaya's speech volunteered for the city guard and began their training straight away. Also the old man, found to be named Kelio Jalis, became Jaya's adviser.
Once all the official business had died down and the city was mostly repaired, Jaya and Kitty would finally get a moment to themselves. The palace courtyard had been neglected by the former King, but already there were saplings growing among the soil. With a wide smile Jaya came in to hug her mother.
"Will you stay?" She asked, looking into her mother's eyes hopefully. "I know with ONI and everything on Earth going on but... We can build something better here. A place where supernaturals won't be shunned."
"I need you. Besides," A smirk came from her now. "The royal guards need a combat teacher and I heard you're pretty good at fighting." |

| Kitty was surprised by the hug, stumbling back a step, before her arms circled her daughter and hugged her tightly. She ruffled her daughter's snow white hair, looking down at her with a smile. "I would do anything for you sweetheart." As much as Kitty wanted to stay with her daughter she couldn't, at least not right now, there were still things on Earth that needed her attention. "But there are still thing's for me to do on Earth. Things that can not be ignored." Kitty drew back from her daughter, letting out a sigh and suddenly she looked older for once and incredibly tired.
"I have to find my family's book. If ONI is seeking out magical items to destroy them then the book needs to be my top priority. Destroying the book while the defensive mechanism is in place would be catastrophic, possibly even rip a whole in time." Kitty started to pace, an unusually serious look on her face as she did so. "I also have to check on my own kingdom, I have to make sure ONI hasn't found the portal for the Vampire and Werewolf pocket dimension, not to mention I have to make sure they're upholding the peace between the two species. Another way is most certainly not needed right now."
Kitty stopped pacing then, running a hand through her red hair. Her spell to absorb Corsetta because despite her apparent fatigue and stress, there wasn't a single strand of black in her hair or any red in her eyes. But the unity did come with some consequences, ones Kitty was already feeling. Before there was a wall between Kitty and her vampiric urges, that was all Corsetta, but now that the wall was gone everything was magnified. There were some plus sides; her mind was quiet, she was stronger, she was faster, and she healed quicker, and her senses were even better than ever before. But there were also negatives; her emotions were heightened greatly, her thirst for blood was to the point where she wanted to rip apart and drain anything that moved, and her blood lust was constant and hard to control.
"I would ask you to come with me but there are reasons you can't. For one you have to run your own kingdom. Two, I don't think the Vampires and Werewolves would take too kindly to outsiders again. The peace is only a few years old and still fragile, it's best not to push it. And third....My methods for finding the book may be questionable, I doubt anyone would be fond of them." But then the fatigue and stress dropped and she gave her daughter a smile, walking over to her and grasping her shoulders. "But I promise you sweetheart, after all is done and safe. I will stay. I swear it." |
