Iathea, a beautiful planet. With many lush forests and clear rivers. It had its self a perfected ecosystem. With many various forms of life, you could say that it was it's own national park. However, this planet was inhabited by intelligent life. These people were known for their love of life and nature. A considerable peaceful species. However, the peace couldn't last as hungry eyes watched them from a distance.

Since the Nypherian arrival, they been watching them for sometime. They were well aware of the extremely valuable resources on this planet. So valuable that these would help speed up the preparations of other plans and new forms of technology. They had been growing and so has their hunger for more power. Since coming out from the Void, their cruelty had been slowly returning and their hatred for Organic life had been fueling this hunger.

They couldn't completely give into its lust. Even how tempting it was, Seyfer was now pulling some of the strings. Yet, the Nypherians fought his control and we're able to remain independent of his power. Even a God couldn't control them. All he could do was watch, as they knew he would take any drastic measures to stop them. That was Seyfer weakness, his compassion.

They had been building a plan to seek out these resources and burn this species to the ground. They wanted to kill them all and take everything that they owned. As, the main goal wasn't simply to kill these people. Their main goal was to prepare to invade a large Kingdom. They had also been eyeing the Darkness Kingdom for sometime. They had no interest in their resources but only to kill them all.

It would be a statement that would be directed at everyone in the Galaxy.

On Iathea, the people were busy celebrating the festival of Harvest. A holiday that thanks life for the bounties that they have recieved. The people all wore their ritual clothings. All bore the colors of Autumn and spring. A odd combination but that didn't bother them one bit. It was life that they cherished. Their buildings gleamed in the sun as large sky scrappers seemed to touch the sky itself. With colors of emerald and silver, they were the picture of perfection.

Within the system of Spire, the Void communication Satilite orbited the planet. Soon, it stopped and the machine became active. The machine then pointed the antenna out and away from the planet. It slowly began to hum and slowly started up. The energy began to build and build into it releases a large crack of power and the system sits. A communication was sent to the Void. This energy spike could be detected by anyone with space technology.

Very soon, a response was given as an energy bolt shot back and connected with the Satilite. That signal was them transmitted to all Nypherian soldiers and AI. The Satilite then shut off and continued its orbit around the planet. Very soon, the space above the planet began to distort and shift. That distribution of space began to grow and grow. A very large ship slowly exited warp from the Void. Lighting storms began to form as this ship was so large, it began to bend the space around it.

Thunder and lighting crack around the ship exiting warp until it's entire body exited the warp and the seal was closed. This large ship was a Nypherian mothership. The size of this ship dwarfs the size of the sun. It's large mass would only signal one thing, invasion.

On Iathea, the festival was in full swing. The cheering was perfectly woven in with the music. Maybe a few moments when people had zero talent in singing threw things off balance but no one cared. It was the holiday and that's all that mattered. However, within the space stations that orbited the planet, something else was going on.

" What was the reading on that energy burst?" Said a man that was running back and forward  in his science lab. He was in direct communication with other stations that also picked up that weird energy reading.no one knew exactly what it was but since the burst was off the charts, it had every excited. " I'm not sure but it's off the scale. By our calculations, it's impossible for it to a celestial event. It has to be alien in origin." A voice responded to the scientist. The man stopped and pondered these words, "Alien in origin".

He got extremely excited. An alien signal. This was incredible!! This could be the greatest discovery his team could be....well discovering. Alien life that actually exists!!
" check the readings again and make sure you're correct!!" He chimed as he began to gather his bags and tools. He needed to get onto the shuttle soon and make way towards the nearby science station.  He wasn't going to miss out on hearing this signal.

He ran towards the hangar Bay as he fumbled with his bags. You could hear him breathing heavily, along with his frantic footsteps. As he reached the hangar, there were people talking about the signal. He wasn't going to let his team be out done! This was his discovery ! He ran into the ship," take off!! Get me to station B!!" He yelled as the pilot nodded his head and they were off.

On the station, the scientist and his colleagues were listening to the signal they detected. They played the sound over and over again. " You can hear this loud bang and it trails off. The readings are indeed off the charts. The signal seems to be interstellar in nature " He said as his colleagues go over the data charts. A map of the galaxy popped up and the location of the signal was revealed.

"It's so far away. How long would exploration ships take to get there?"

" a few months at least"

That wasn't good enough, the chance of something still being there was very slim to none. However, he never knew how really wrong he was and how much he was going to regret it. " ok, we'll we should keep monitoring for signals in that direction. For now, business as usual but forward the information to the military " the few nodded their heads and got to work. However he still wasn't convinced that this was just some random event. Something in his gut told him this was something special and it was going to change his life completely. In his heart, he felt like this was going to be the greatest festival holiday ever.

At Spire, hundreds if not thousands of Nypherian ships hovered around the Mothership. They never took their eyes off the prize. Iathea, a pearl on the sector and they wanted it. The plans had been set.

1. Blitz enemy fortifications and hack stations.
2. Use their signals against them but turning off all communications
3. Surround the planet and prepare beachheads on specific points on the planet
4. Use ground forces with tight air support to crush resistance
5. Hunt and destroy all remaining survivors

These plans were to go by the letter and not be altered. If however, plans needed to be changed. They would do so accordingly. The plans were set and the order was given. Invade and dominate the Iathea species.

The scientist was going over the signal over and over. There was something about it was mysterious and ominous. How it could just appear and then vanish. He was going over his notes until the machines had picked up another signal. This time, it was incoming from outside the Galaxy. He jumped to his feet and ran over. " We got a response!!! There's an incoming signal from outside the Galaxy!!". The other scientists jumped up and ran over towards him. They turned the volume up and they heard for only for a few seconds, a low humming. The sound was deep and within the sound, there was a cracking noise. Similar to the crack of a whip but it sounded mechanical.

This was incredible! That a response came from outside the Galaxy in the same spot. This couldn't a coincidence. He scrambled around with his notes. He paused as everyone behind him froze. He turned to look at them, " what's wrong? ", his thoughts were broken as he decided to look out the stations window. He was shocked to see that the space not dare away had become distorted. He walked closer to the glass and stared at it. " What the...." his words were cut short at the sounds of Hundreds of Nypherian ships exited from warp. There were three kinds of ships that exited from warp. There were the MC 2B13, MC2B23, and the new Battle Cruiser the MC 3B10.

As they exited warp, streams of energy  flowed from the ships. There were hundreds of them slowly moving towards the planet. The planet's stations and fleet now began to focus their attention on the Nypherians. Their ships began to move and flank their stations in a protective matter. All the scientists could do was watch as the ships move for possible conflict.

It was that calm between the appearing fleets. The Iathea fleet moved towards the arriving fleet. The odds were extremely not in their favor. By calculations the odds were 1000 to 1. Messages were sent to the fleet, demanding what their intentions where. Sadly, there was no response as the massive fleet moved closer and closer.

Upon the capital ship of the Iathea fleet, the Admiral was sweating. He was nervous at the size of the alien fleet. What scared him, was that the fleets ship was 10x bigger than their ships. The comprehend how big and technological these ships were mind boggling. " increase shields, maximum power." He ordered as everyone scrambled to battle stations. The alarm had gone on in the capital ship, telling everyone to get ready.

The Nypherian fleet stopped in its tracks. As the ships then began to line up. Everyone froze as they didn't know what was going to happen. They were to scared to make the first move, what if they're a traveling species that has no home and just want to make peace? Others were very skeptical but they also didn't know how to handle the situation.

As quickly as they came, their question was answered. In that moment a wave of bright lights erupted from the Nypherian fleet. It was blinding at first because they came from so many ships. The silence was ended with the sounds of screams and terror. The Nypherians had opened fire and where tearing the Iathea fleet apart. Within that haze of Space combat, a massive cloud that consisted of Nypherian combat fighters poured out of the Nypherian MC2B23's. The fighters passed around the Iathea ships. Pounding them with plasma fire and missile weaponry.

" Return fire!! Return Fire!!! " was all the Admiral could say. He watched as the Nypherians picked apart his fleet, one by one. Back in the station, the sounds of war could be heard. " we have to warn the planet. Send a transmission towards HQ!!" the scientist yelled  as he ran down the hallway. He made his way towards the transmission section of the station but what he found shocked him to his core.

Letters and numbers filled the stations screen. He dashed to the controls and tried to input commands. To his horror, it didn't respond. He had been locked out. Opening side programs he was able to track who was causing him to be locked out. The system pointed towards the Nypherian fleet. His arms dropped to his sides as the system read that all stations where being controlled by this alien fleet. Tears streamed down his face as one large MC2B23 slowly looked towards him. He watched as the from the front of this massive ship. It began to glow red. Swirls of energy poured into the front of the ship as the station listed a massive energy reading from that very ship.

All he could do was watch as the MC2B23 fired. A loud crack emanated from the discharge of the weapon and a ball of red energy was fired at the station. All he could was watch, " God help us all...." was the last thing he said as the ball of energy struck the station. The energy discharge crashed into the station. Destroying and melting away the station it had struck. A large explosion that sent pieces of this station shooting in every direction.

Now, the ships that hung in the back of the fleet now made their way planet side. Hundreds of MC 2B13, flocked towards the planet. Many of the space fighters also escorted them as the other ships kept the Iathea fleet distracted and covered.

Within a few days, the combat above the planet had finally silence and the Nypherians had complete orbital control. There still remained a few stations that orbited the planet. There were Nypherian soldiers slowing picking off the remaining Iatheans that remained on the stations. However, on the planet was an entirely different story. Cities were burning, people were dying, and the Nypherian forces where in full swing. All you could hear where the sounds of war. The smell of fire and burning oil filled the air as clouds of smoke rose from every city.

Within the large capital city of Iathea. The fighting is the worst there. Gun fire, screaming, explosions, and the sounds of the Nypherian warmachine  could be heard.the sky's were covered with the ships of the Nypherian fleet. Smaller ships would exit the fleet continously and dropped off tanks, mechs, and the occasional walkers.

A group of Iathea soldiers and civilians ran through the burning streets of the capital city. The sounds of their feet hitting the ground as they ran through alleyway. The cracked glass and conceret crunched underneath their boots." This is insane! Our bullets aren't hurting them! How is that possible?!" One of them whimpered. " Quite!! Do you want them to find us?" A soldier snapped back towards the group of civilians. He too wondered how they could ever win. If fighting these machines had taught him anything is that theirs always a bigger fish in the sea. These things were the deadliest thing he had ever fought in his life.

He feared that they would find him sooner or later and there would be nothing he could do to stop them. " My god...they shoot everything on sight...even women and children." Another civilian chimed in. " I'll do my best to get you off world. We need to find a ship and leave the planet." The soldier said as he peaked around a corner. He could hear the Nypherian forces nearby but couldn't get a read in what direction they're at. He also could hear his people fighting back. Easily making out the sounds of their gun fire. He dropped his gun to his side and looked around him. Fire covered almost every building. Almost everything had either been targeting by Nypherian artillery or by the walkers. This was suppose to be a happy holiday, this was suppose to be sacred, and this was suppose to be the day he ask to marry his wife. Instead they came from they sky and everything began to burn. During the initial invasion, he lost his brother and wife. He took a deep breath and ran across the street and into another alley way. He waved over the group and they crossed the street. The remaining soldiers bringing up the rear stopped and peaked around the corner. There were 6 in total and one looked to see if they had been noticed, so far so good. As they moved across the street the sound of a gun went off and a plasma bolt struck one of the soldiers. The round ripped through his neck and blood spattered on the initial impact.

The soldier hit the ground and held his neck, trying to stem his own life blood. The screaming started as Nypherian plasma fire erupted just down the street. They Nypherians had been tracking them and planned an ambush. The soldiers took their places and returned fire. " get the civilians out of here!! Get to the ships and leave the planet!!!" The leading squad soldier yelled as he fired back at the invading Nypherians. The soldier who was with the civilians across the street was still hiding behind the corner. The civilians were covering their ears and crying. The sound of conflict was enough to break them mentally. All that soldier could do was nod his head and start picking the civilians up on their feet and get them to move. The remaining soldiers stayed there to fight. The Nypherians had perfect precision as they kept the enemy pinned down. They communicated through mechanical chimes as they held the enemy down. The ground began to shave as something big was on its way. A very large  M92A3 Gargantua charged through one of the buildings and stopped right behind the a Nypherians shooting at the Iathea soldiers.

"Holy shit! Look at the size of that thing!!" One of the Iathea soldiers said. The tank moved it's turret to slowly face the direction of the Iathea soldiers. The squad leader stopped and remember the fire power that thing had. " shit..." was all he could say as the  M92A3 Gargantua fired is modified Rail Gun. The round struck their covered and a large blue explosion filled the street. The cover was gone and all that was left when the smoke cleared was a large crater. They were all dead.

The group run through most of the city until the reached the outskirts. The roadways were littered with abandoned cars and the bodies of the dead. The smell of decaying bodies and scorched metal was permeating within the air. No matter how much you walked away, the smell would never leave your nose. They traveled between the wreckage of the cars that blocked up all the roads. With the initial invasion, communications were down and the battles in the sky scared most of the civilians. Mass panic had ensued and everyone tried to flee the cities at once. Once the Nypherians began their land invasion, these civilians became easy targets. Nypherian fighters were the first of the initial conflict on Iathea. They picked the trapped civilians off the roads and began to attack military facilities. Then, the Nypherians began to drop ground troops and pushed into the major cities.

The only soldier left in the ground stopped as he would occasionally peak into the abandoned cars, hoping to find anything useful. There were times he would find food for the civilians he was escorting but most times, he didn't find anything. Doing the most honorable thing when he found food, he gave it to the civilians. The soldier glanced up at the sky, looking at the Nypherian ships that dotted the sky. He let out a deep sigh as he wished he could kill them all and at the sametime he feared them.  He would often keep pushing the people on but some began to die of dehydration.

Soon, the group of 20 became a group of 12. It was hard for him. Traveling along the roads but only able to find just enough food to save only a few people. It was very tough for him to see people die slowly within his group. Soon, they reached a point and before them was a bridge. It crossed over a large river and on the other side, there was the airport. That was the goal, to get a whip off world and try to hide from the invaders. Those metal Devils had taken everything from them. He had lost his wife and his children.

Once they reached the highest point of the bridge. They could look out and see the three nearest cities. They were burning, smoldering, and the echoes of combat could be heard but things were slowly beginning to get more and more quite. The occasional gunfire could be heard followed by an explosion. The group could only watch as their world they all build was being torn apart..piece by piece. They continued their walk towards the airport.

Upon reaching the set of building within the airport. Everything was either burnt or still burning. Parts of the building was still standing. Moving through the half destroyed building, they finally reached runway. The soldier ran outside and hoped to see someone or maybe a ship intact. To his horror, everything was destroyed and bodies litter the ground. The civilians just feel to their knees and broke down crying." It's all over, we're all going to die!!" They cried out. The soldier just stared in horror at all his hard work had gave him, nothing.  There was something that shook everyone's attention, a very loud mechanical sound. It echoed everywhere and they turned to the direction it was coming from. From out of the smoke, a very large Nypherian walker emerged from it. It's scanners had picked it up but the people didn't bother running. They just cried and the Nypherian walker powered up its cannons. The soldier just dropped his weapon and looked up at it. He shook his head," papa's coming sweet heart" He said. The Nypherian walker fired and everything for that soldier went black. Only a mushroom cloud and a large crater remained.

Within weeks, billions were dead. Within months, the Nypherians had full control of the planet and the solar system. They began mining and building their own cities over the dead culture that they eliminated. This was the first step in building their move towards the Darkness.
