| Diana didn't miss a beat, flashing Jack a grin. She spun with her leg cocked up in a kick, catching the zombie in the side and spamming it into the bookcases against the wall.
Hoping the attack momentarily stunned the zombie, Diana dated forward and pressed her hands against its flesh. Ice spikes began to sprout from the inside, hopefully effectively ripping the zombie apart from the inside out. |

| The commotion didn't go unnoticed by Michael. "Hey! Everyone alright over there?" He called out as he continued to survey the book shelves. |

| Letting out a sigh of relief, Jack looked between the two aisles firstly making sure that was the last of them. After he was certain it was he nodded. "All good." He replied out to Michael before looking down at his feet. There underneath his shoe lay a crumpled roll of parchment from which a faint blue glow emanated. "I got it." Holding it up for the others to see, he then quickly pocketed it. "Artificer said not to open it, could be dangerous." Another breathe came as she waited for the other two to regroup. "Let's get it back to him."
Their walk back to the way they came in was short, but there lay one problem. "Erm, anyone got a way back up?" |

| "Maybe if someone hadnt blown the floor to hell," Diana glared pointedly at Michael, "We would have no problem getting out of here." Then a thought occured to Diana, who quickly backpedaled back into the library.
Normally Diana wouldn't have an issue with getting out, she would just simply make stairs at out ice. But the dryer and warmer climate here made it a bit harder to make that much ice, along with maintaining it. She couldn't make ice rise much higher than an inch at the moment. But perhaps if she had enough water she could make a very shaky suitable staircase.
There was still water left on the floor from Diana attacking the behemoth and the various zombies and she stretched her hands out. She called the water and ice back to her, turning the leftover ice into water. She directed it back towards where Jack and Michael were standing then she slowly waved her hand out.
The water moved and formed the shape of a staircase, but it was a bit too short, still she solidified it into ice. "That's as far as I can get it, if I make the ice any thinner to get more length then it won't be able to hold us." |

| "Take it out on my paycheck sweet cheeks." Michael quipped. After Diana had finished creating the staircase, Michael let out a long whistle out of awe. "Boy, the UNSC must love having you guys around, huh." He then took the liberty of approaching the steps first. Taking the first and then the second, he stopped. "Yeah it'll hold. Mrs Frost here sure knows her shit when it comes to frozen stairs... and anything else frozen." He remarked. He then proceeded to walk up to the top of the steps, carefully doing so to make sure not to slip, and then stopped, waiting for them to catch up. |

| "Hmm, I can maybe get you up the rest of the way." Jack raised his hands, reaching out to gather as much sand as his powers would allow. It rose up in tiny amounts but eventually they swirled together to form solid chunks. These then moved by his direction and became the rest of the stairs.
"Okay, get up. I can jump out." He nodded to them both, holding the stairs in place for them. |

| Diana swiftly climbed up the ice stairs, flashing Michael a very rude finger before glancing at Jack. Then she looked away and climbed the rest of the stairs, letting out a breath as she felt the heat beating down on her skin again. "Move it Soldier Boy, we haven't got all day to wait on your ass." She rolled her eyes and stretched her arms above her head, the dizziness from ingesting that small amount of dead blood was almost gone now. |

| "Oooh, that's not very nice." Michael said mockingly as Diana flashed him the finger. He then followed on and climbed the sand steps. "That's a nice trick, kid. I mean, I could 'a used my knives but I guess this saves the effort." As he reached the top, he walked towards the window through which they had entered and stepped out into the sun. |
