+ GIAS have quite high rate of fire, allowing the wielder to cover it's enemies in shrapnel rain.
+ 30 shell chambered magazines allows quick reloading like for shotgun type weapon.
+ Able to use different form of 20 Gauge, from buckshot to non-lethal rubber bullets.
Weaknesses
- As many Tower weapons, GIAS is quite heavy piece of weapon.
- It's only useful at short distances. It's practically useless at long and medium, unless you're lucky as hell.
Description GIAS combat shotguns are special weaponry for Tower Guard Volunteers. Usable at short ranges and enclosed spaces such as corridors, it's packs quite a punch with it's 20 Gauge shells. If it's not enough, well, what about 30 of those?
High wage is quite problematic for carrying the Shotgun around - at least it recompensates the recoil of the weapon, so soldiers won't lose their hands while shooting.
Weapon can be loaded with three basic types of shells, all packed in 30-Rounds round magazines.
Buckshot - Most basic type of shell. Filled with shrapnel, usable at close range and against non-armoured targets. Red tube
Slugshot - Single ball fitted into the shell, it offers longer range and a lot better armour penetration. The problem is, you need to aim with this one. Blue tubes
Rubber Bullets - Special non-lethal ammo type used mostly by Volunteers Guards. They will definitely leave a mark on your body, but won't kill you straight away. Green tube.
