| The glow from the rocks bathed everything in a soft somewhat eeried glow. Kaeda stared at what may have been an epic goblin city at one point in astonishment. He had been searching for so long for anything regarding his past history and here it was in front of him in all of its splendor. Well, some of its splendor anyway,
His musings were curt short as a cry from atop the topmost structure rang out. Soon other cries could be heard followed by a series of drums. Kaeda stared trying to make sense out of what was going on before drawing a ragged breath. Orcs, lots and lots of orcs. He didn't know what had happened to the goblins before but this once great city had become infested with orcs. It was going to have to be cleaned out before they were able to go any deeper.
He let the feelins of anger and rage wash over him. Not only his, but of the skull's as well. "Grant me your power this day to avenge the death and to treat him with the respect and dignity he deserves in death."
"He shall be avenged ten times over today. Today the orcs die for their transgreggions." |

| Elizabeth watched as Lineak carried the old goblin's body, throwing it over his shoulder. She witnessed as Kaeda, who at first seemed distraught, stood up, and, with a defiant look in his eyes, followed the Lycanthrope. Elizabeth had been impressed by the two. While she may dislike necromancers, she did see the tenacity in the goblin named Kaeda. She followed them, pushing a few of the bodies aside with her foot.
They entered the largest of the tunnels that the Orcs had escaped down. The descent was steep and a few times the Lycanthrope stumbled, half-cursing each time. She followed, a little distance away. Elizabeth still didn't know the two all that well and didn't feel safe being with them.
When they had reached the bottom of the passage, a great vision showed itself. Towers, bathed in light, rose from the bottom of the immense cavern. This was the home of the goblins, Kaeda's ancestors. This was where she had wanted to be. This was a place worth exploring. Alas, the place was overrun with Orcs. Their large green bodies coming out of every single nook and cranny that the goblin stronghold had to offer.
"Well, doesn't this look like fun matey's?" She asked the two in front of her, drawing her blade at the same time. A light ringing filled the entire cavern as sparks of electricity began to flow between her and the sword. Elizabeth let a wicked smile spread across her face, intent on spilling blood. |

| It didn't quite look like fun to the goblin. He didn't allow the thought to cross his face however. He was far too intent on trying to figure out just how he could help out in the battle ahead. The skull around his neck began speaking to him once more and the laughed out loud in anticipation. Being able to do what the skull was suggesting would be an amazing feat indeed. He looked towards the others before speaking.
"You two need to draw them out somehow. As they attempt the close the distance I have some surprises in store for them. It will help narrow the odds I promise you. But. But you can't go more than halfway to the cliffs. If you do you may die as well. There are no guarantees. Do you both understand?"
Rather than wait for a reply Kaeda turned his attention back towards the city and began chanting feeling the skull's power flooding through him. This was going to be a fight of epic proportions and unlike previous battles he was going to be able to get involved! |

| Lineak stared at the goblin before turning his gaze back towards the horde of orcs it didn't look like drawing them out was going to be a problem in any way. His gaze turned higher and he could see a volley of arrows flying though the air towards them. That now, that could be a problem. Whatever the goblin was doing he needed to get it done. For the time being though it was going to be up to the werewolf and the strange woman to take care of what was coming at them.
Unable to do anything about the flight of arrows Lineak charged into battle eager to face the uncoming horde. In werewolf form he was more than a match for the orcs. He altered his forms though for the maximum balance of protection, suprise, speed, and damage. From werewolf to wolf to werewolf strike, change, dodge, change, strike over and over again. Blood and bodies flying everywhere Lineak couldn't take the time to see how Elizabeth was faring. He hoped she was doing as well as he was. He hoped like hell that Kaeda was doing even better.
He risked a glance behind him pleased to see nothing had ventured as past them to attack the goblin yet. It was only a matter of time though before one of the horde managed to sneak past. He put the thought behind him as he bit into the shoulder of the orc infront of him tearing the arm loose in the process. The best way to prevent the goblin from being killed was to kill all of the bastards first. It was a task that seemed unlikely to happen but he'd had worse odds. |

| ---POV: Elizabeth---
Elizabeth fought against the orcs. Keeping her blade wet with their blood. Her vision blurred, she couldn't keep track of anything. She just kept slashing at anything that moved. Her blade always connecting.
She wasn't sure if any made it past her, she didn't think that any of them did. The bodies were piling up around her, the electrical impulses in the half-dead powering her and pushing her farther. Her electric arcs lancing out at the orcs, draining them and frying them. Their smoking carcasses falling and shattering, all the water having evaporated. She had already drained two of her batteries. She only had two more of them left.
An orc got close and slashed out at her torso. Elizabeth blocked most of the swing with her own blade, but it nicked her right below the ribs on her right side. She grunted as pain flowed in and blood flowed out. Her sparks flowed out of her blade, through her opponent and into the ground at his feet. First his arm blackened as he howled in pain, the fingers slitting apart from being cooked from the inside out. The sweet aroma of cooked meat filled the air as the green hulk continued to fry, his mind goe and dead. Eventually his body fell backwards, charred and smoking, onto the still growing pile of bodies. His corpse rolling away from her tripping up his former comrades. They too soon fell too Elizabeth's lightning. |

| Kaeda's chanting hadn't stopped since the words he had spoken to the others. It was essential that is spells went of at the propper time and with the propper distance from the enemy. The skull had agreed with his plan of action and it was up to both of them to see this thing through.
It was a strange sort of scacrilege that he was going to end up destroying the goblin city. Well it HAD been a goblin city but not for some time. Sweat beaded and then rolled down his face and neck. Still the chanting continued, could not stop.
Now the time is now.
Kaeda looked for the first time out over the landscape seeing an enormous number of orc bodies strewn about as Lineak and Elizabeth continued their deadly dance through the horde. He hoped the spell he had just completed was effective it was something that the skull had granted him the power to do only recently. The ability to force things to begin to fall apart to degrade was new and strange. Using it on something already ravaged by time should make the spell even more effective he hoped.
Less thinking, use it now.
Kaeda began chanting once more summoning all of his remaining power as he reached out into the city and tore chunks of stone loose from buildings ravaged by entropy. First occasional walls began collapsing and then as they fell they smashed into other buildings causing a massive domino like cascade of buildings to begin crashing to the ground. Screams from the orcs inside the doomed city merged with sounds of those outside the city but still within range of the falling debris. The battle had just become quite a bit more managable, or so Kaeda hoped. He had done his part and now he needed to rest. |

| The sound was what caught Lineak's attention more than anything else. Surrounded by the sounds of dead and dying orcs, of his own grunts and growls, and the sound of metal on metal the sound was immedietly out of place. A landslide? Rockslide? The sound could have been either one. Soon though wails of panic rose from the city and the mingled with souns bordering on explosions as walls collapsed bringing tons of rubble falling into the streets below. Rubble slammed into buildings already weakened by falling walls and in turn caused other walls to fall adding to the massive amount of rubble and to the screams.
Caught by surprise the orcs in the open turned to stare as the city behind them fell to ground in a giant cound of dust. Shrieks of despair were silenced as Lineak continued ravaging the orcs. Kaeda had come through in a big way and he wasn't going to waste any time finishing off the orcs that hadn't been killed by the city collapsing. In the end it ended being more slaughter than battle but in this particular case Lineak was at peace with it. |

| Elizabeth pondered at the destruction of the city as she slice an orc's head off, cauterizing the wound as she did so. Why had the city fallen in the first place? Well, it didn't matter anyways. For once she wasn't the cause of it.
As she continued to cut down her foes, Elizabeth's once narrow tunnel vision began to expand. She saw as Lineak slowed down, finishing off the last of the orcs. She witnessed as the goblin fell to his knees, apparently spent from the ordeal. Elizabeth turned to face the other two as she slipped her blade from the standing gut of a dead Orc.
"What now?" She asked, her tone upbeat and lighthearted. Small droplets of blood splattered across her face. |

| "What now?"
Kaeda struggled to regain his strength but smiled at the words. It had worked, it had really worked. He took in a deep breath, blew out, and tried to speak before giving up. So much had led to this point and hopefully it was just about over. He drew in another breath of air before releasing it and tried once more to speak. This time around his reserves of strength didn't fail him.
"Now we see where the goblins that once lived here buried their elders. Now we bury our dead and then we leave this place. I'm unsure of your reason for joining us but you are free to loot the entire city. I have what I came here for. Anything else I see will only cause me grief that is was lost to the orcs and then possibly destroyed by me. Come Lineak let us find a graveyard." |
