With a frown on her face, under her mask, she nodded softly. She could read Sylvia's body, and although she didn't get a lot, she knew Sylvia wasn't comfortable about the topic. If anything Jessie shouldn't of been asking here, on a moon out of all places. Deciding it would be better to return to the topic at a later date, she stopped walking. "Ok, just remember I'm here to talk to." Jessie offered, in a soft voice.

Shaking her head Jessie sunk back into silence, now trying to get her mind back onto the task at hand. After travelling for a bit longer, Jessie picked up a small stone only to throw it off into the distance. With the low gravity, her throw travelled extremely far, only to make a soft could of dust float up into the atmosphere as it hit the ground. "What ever base they have here, they hid it quite well." Jessie muttered under her breath.

she wandered around slowly, the moon was fairly large and they were walking around for a solid hour, though on the whole moon there was just one large rock. Intrigued by this one rock sylvia headed to it and before even getting the chance to turn her detector off she head the thing bleep like crazy. "i found it! let's go" she says as she excitedly runs towards the door.

Before picking the lock she takes a deep breath and turns to jessie. "so, i was like this because, over 3000 years ago i had a husband...he was captured by the renegades and the last time i saw him, he told me i had to leave him behind and i couldnt get him loose. and i died not too much after so if they havent killed him yet, wich is unlikely because he would complete his tasks pretty well. so if he is still alive he has to be here...that's why i was so happy, because i thought i'd see him again today. anyway, be on the lookout for someone of my species and tell me if you see one."

Standing there with her eyes wide open, and her jaw dropped, she attempted to say something but it came out as nothing more than a small squeal. Even if Sylvia could see through Jessie's mask, she'd be able to tell the amount of shock she was in. With things coming to light, Jessie only had more questions flooding into her mind.

"OK!" Jessie said pushing her arms out in front of her. "So, you're telling me that, you're a zombie, you had a husband who may or may not be alive and all of this happen 3000 fucking years ago?" Jessie said all in one breath, confusion ringing throughout her voice. "...And Yet you don't look a day over 20?" Jessie said before taking another breath to calm herself down.

she was surprised by jessie's reaction, but also slightly offended. "listen! im not a zombie! a zombie comes back alive through magic, diseases, bioligical manipulation or unethical science, they dont have souls or emotions anymore! im revived through technology and magic. dont ever call me a zombie again. and yes, he might still be alive as our race has been blessed with not having to fear time, so i hope he is here..."

she started working on picking the lock of the door and under ten seconds she got the lock open and went inside with her bow drawn and an arrow ready, upon opening the door it is revealed it is merely an elevator leading down to an underground base.

Jessie was taken back slightly by her sudden outburst of being called a zombie. Jessie could understand where the offence came from, but it still took Jessie by shock. "Sorry, my knowledge of magic is very limited ok." Jessie said as Sylvia finished picking the lock.

As they made their way in, Jessie drew both her scythes. She didn't realise it until she entered, but it seemed that she held her breath, as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. When they did, the sight of an elevator only screamed the signs that she should turn back. "What the hell?" Jessie whispered to herself.

Sylvia got in the elevator, aware that it could be a trap but she pulled jessie inside and activated her shield, wich would protect them from the first few hits. as the elevator went down it moved almost alarmingly fast, and at this speed they quickly reached the bottom floor, where just as the doors opened a renegade walked by.

Sylvia shot him quickly and ran off, almost too fast for jessie to keep up with, determined to find her husband. However the death of this one man alerted the entire base wich was significantly larger than the last one as many soldiers armed with assault rifles came rushing to deal with the two intruders.

"Fuck..." Jessie said under her breath as the whole base came alert, and as Sylvia just sprinted out. Without thinking twice, Jessie broke out into a full sprint, now attempting to catch up to Sylvia. With her scythe's out, she would literally cut down anyone who got in her way.

"Sylvia slow dow-" Jessie began her call out towards Sylvia, but once she saw the sheer amount of men charging in behind them she changed her mind. "You know what, go faster dammit!" Jessie shouted, as she put away one of her scythe's in place for her revolver. Once she had her revolver out, she fired a full six shots behind her. This wasn't to kill anyone, although that would of been nice, but instead it was to slow them down.

with the men packed so close to eachother, she draw her bow and selected the blue arrows wich is electric and fired it at the group, hitting one the electricity arcs to the other men wich kills alot of them, and paralyzes alot of the rest. Sylvia seemed to follow signs that leaded to the prison block, as soon as they arrived she threw open all the doors she could find.

after a few doors she seemed to stop, petrifying completely in place as she looked in horror into one of the rooms. After several seconds she runs right past jessie, almost pushing her aside rushing to the soldiers incoming, she mercilessly begins to fight back against them, she swaps through the colors of her bow from blue to red for explosives, the blasts were very pronounced even from the prison block. in the room itself there was not much other than blood dripping down from the cieling from some sort of hatch.

Jessie quickly threw herself aside as Sylvia charged past. She looked on in horror as Sylvia started laying waste to a small army of men. She watched every stray bullet flying past, some coming in to close for comfort at Sylvia. Although her heart told her to move towards Sylvia, her legs slowly moved towards the room.

Time seemed to almost slow as she came up into the doorframe of the room. She saw the blood leaking and dripping, down from the hatch, like a loose tap. Her legs almost collapsed at the sight, as her mind pieced everything together. Looking back at the mayhem, she could see the anger and fear all over Sylvia's face.

Then the next thing she knew, she was charging into battle. With a quick sprint she replaced her empty revolver and scythe for her shotgun. Firing off a power shot, the sound of the blast drowned out by Sylvia's explosive arrows, she charged in activating her shield. With her shield protecting her and Sylvia, she fired off another shot. This time blowing a hole in a mans chest.

sylvia was attacking with a certain fury she hasnt shown yet, in jessie's presence at least. her face was invisible since she put her hood on, all that was visible of her normally pretty face was two green pinpricks, illuminating her face from under the dark green hood. Her almost feral posture and behaviour made her alot more menacing, and she was almost nothing like the lively cheery elf jessie normally knew.

As Jessie continued her eyes flickered to Sylvia, or what seemed to be left of her. Jessie then abruptly stopped attacking and just looked at Sylvia. It started to scare her. Seeing Sylvia this way was unnatural, and it was terrifying to just watch her try and quench her new thirst for blood.

Clenching her fists Jessie slung her shotgun over her back, and then moved up to her friend, only to place her hand on Sylvia's shoulder. "Sylvia, we need to move!" Jessie shouted, hopping her words would be heard over the gunfire. "Sylvia, we're going to be over powered soon, and then killed if we don't move now!" Jessie shouted, continuing her pleads.

sylvia for one was jumping around dodging the gunfire, and she didnt seem to respond to jessie calling out for her, instead it seems she hasnt reached the peak of her rage yet as she seemed to reach higher speeds and quicker kills, for some reason she switched back to electric, presumably because just like the explosives it let her hit multiple attacks with a single shot.

Without a response Jessie only became more worried. She knew why Sylvia was angry, she alone couldn't imagine what she was feeling, and nor did she ever want to and these pleads were trying to stop that from happening. She could see the speed in which she was going at, it was almost unholy. This only pumped more fear into her veins. By now Jessie was pleading as much as she could, to just try and get Sylvia to notice her at least. She knew them two alone weren't going to survive if they just fought, and at this stage she didn't want Sylvia dead. It was something that actually terrified her. The thought of loosing a friend, and a good one at that.

"Sylvia! Please, we have to move!" Jessie shouted as loud as she could. All she wanted, all she needed, was the slightest acknowledgement, just one small thing that could tell her, she wasn't to far gone in anger.

sylvia's sun elven blood got overheated, and after the fourth wave has been vanquished, her speed seemed to decline, and fast. after a few seconds it seems as if she was incapable of even walking correctly and soon enough she collapsed to the ground, her elven blood was boiling of rage, and with her race having a weakness towards anger.

she layed on the ground, seemingly knocked out or asleep, though fortunatly for jessie sylvia didnt weigh much.

With Sylvia on the ground, Jessie seemed to follow. Quickly getting on her knees, she moved Sylvia's body, so her face would be facing the ceiling. "No, no, no." Jessie whispered under her breath as she looked down at her friend's body. Then before she could proceed, she heard footsteps. Three to be exact. Then around the corner came another three men.

Jessie looked up at these men with her fiery red eyes. These men would be able to see something else in her eyes however. Hatred. Then with demonic speed, she sprung from her position, unsheathing a scythe. Once on her feet she charged for the closet soldier, then with unholy speed she swung for the man's neck. With brutal force she swiftly took the man's head off his body. Wasting no time, she threw a heavy punch into the next soldier's gut. As he tried to regain balance, Jessie upholstered her revolver and shot the man up through the bottom of his jaw. As the body fell Jessie turned to the last soldier. "Run. And if you ever say we were here, I will kill you." Jessie threated. The soldier didn't argue, instead he ran.

Turning around Jessie ran over to Sylvia's body. She placed her weapons away, and then proceeded to pick up Sylvia. Thankfully she didn't weight to much, so all Jessie would have to do now was run. Mustering whatever energy she had left, she carried Sylvia away.

When Sylvia would wake up, she'd find herself lying in her own bed, on Flower Thief. On the edge of the bed would be Jessie, now out of combat armour and in casual clothes. She was silent, with only her head facing Sylvia. It wouldn't be hard to see Jessie's worried expression.

after about an hour or so, Sylvia finally woke up, she takes a deep breath and sits up, but immediatly flinches and reaches for her chest ash she sighs painfully. After several seconds she takes the pillow and puts it in her back, sitting herself up. "ow...what happened...?..and where am i...?" she says with a crackling voice with squinted eyes.

With the sound of Sylvia waking up, Jessie was off the bed and on her feet, then in a few seconds by her side. Kneeling down Jessie gave Sylvia a little bit to adjust before saying anything. "You're back on the ship..." Jessie started, her eyes drifting to the ground. "I carried you back here after you went crazy and passed out." Jessie explained, bringing her gaze back up to Sylvia. Her eyes held nothing but fear and worry, and for her change, her facial features were soft, as if she had left her normal cold and hard personality.

"ugh...went crazy...? what for...?" she tries to sit up, but ends up laying back down covering herself in the blankets and kicking off her leg augmentations and laying them next to the bed and laying on her side to face jessie and takes a deep breath before asking what happened. "so...i dont remember alot of what went on after i opened that door, i didnt hurt anyone did i...?"

"Hurt? You wiped out the whole base. One man lived, but I made sure he'd forget about everything." Jessie said gripping the side of the bed. "It was scary really... Just seeing you there, with nothing but anger in your eyes, jumping around killing every damn fuck that came our way." Jessie said through gritted teeth. She stopped for a moment, only to give out a long sigh. "After that you fell to the ground. That scared me more than anything." Jessie admitted in a soft voice. "After that three more came in, and I killed two and made the other run for his life. Once they were gone I picked you up and brought you here, and I haven't left the room since."

she got shocked hearing that she had not just killed a few soldiers but instead wiped out an entire base, she normally thought of herself as a healer and not a combatant. Jessie's response and almost fear for sylvia's rage outburst made her quite sad actually, she embraced jessie. "im so sorry...i didnt mean to scare you..."

Jessie went silent for what seemed to forever. She just seemed to hold Sylvia tightly. Breathing softly she let all her fears and worries melt away for once in her life. She was just gad Sylvia was safe. She knew Sylvia had seen some rather terrifying and messed up stuff, only a few hours ago, and Jessie herself couldn't begin to imagine what that must of been like, but nor did she ever want to.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that..." Jessie said softly before letting go of Sylvia. Standing up she looked at Sylvia with a small, sad smile. "Get some rest, me and you both need it." Jessie said before turning around to the door of the room. Walking up to it she seemed to stop as her hand reached the door handle. After a few quivering breaths she opened the door and left the room.

Once outside she dried her eyes with the sleeve of her top. Curling her fingers into a fist she took a deep sigh, before walking up to the pilot seat, so she could enter the coordinates back to HQ. Jessie knew this adventure was best left here.
