apex 122, the base of the immortals and one of the few planets with only one access point. a place where magic and tech get combined to form especially lethal weaponry and especially usefull equipment. a place where racism did not exist because the amount of work ment they had no time for quarrels. there was co-operation and no fights between all the different races, the elves worked the magic and alchemy, the dridders did the wiring, the dwarves worked the metal and all the other races found their purposes on this planet as well, though it felt grim, there was more unity on this planet than alot of other planets.

in the hub, keya was playing shooter games while cursing like a madman, it was possible to hear her from the airport, but soon her game was rudely interupted by a notification of a large energy signatures closing in to apex 122. she sensed danger and immediatly sounded the alarm. "all hands, report to the hub! we might be in for combat." she says as she suited up in her armor and ran to the entrance while she sounded the alarm to the allied factions too.

Throughout the planet, where everyone knew their place, Jessie was rather the oddball out. She didn't know her purpose, or her place. Ever since she got off Artemis with Flower Thief, she had felt empowered, as if she was going to change the world. But now after a few days on Apex 122 she was stuck at where she started, clawing for more, and wanting some action. Sylvia leaving didn't help either.

When the alarms went off, Jessie was actually flying around the planet, as she usually did. She was thinking of everything. About how she needed clues to figure out what her own history was, and where to even start. After all she only had one thing that could be a starting point. The Lucian Empire. However her thoughts were cut short, as the sudden alarm came through, telling her to report to the hub. "I swear if this is a false alarm like last time!" Jessie said into her communications as she blasted off to the hub.

Thankfully Jessie wasn't long, due to her ships speed. Quickly landing it in a safe spot Jessie jumped out and ran inside to grab her gear. Immortal Rogue armour, two scythes, one revolver, and a powerful shotgun, Jessie was ready for a fight. Sprinting into hub, where everyone else was she looked at Keya. "What we dealing with Red?" Jessie asked. She had given Keya, like everyone else, a nick name because she was terrible with names.

The alarms sounding woke Lineak who wasn't very happy about the situation.  He'd been having a rather enticing dream about that delictable little elf who had recruited him.  He pushed the thought out of his head and swung his feet over the side of the bed.  The cold floor came as a nasty surprise but he had no time to waste he gathered.  The very idea of putting on some armor or toting some foreign weapons along with him made him laugh.  He'd had that conversation already, multiple times.  Instead he reached into his closet pulling out a pair of jeans and a faded blue denim shirt.  He dressed quickly before reaching for his other belongins.

The two gun belts were on his dresser he quickly went though his premission drills making sure each was fully loaded and that each gun belt had a full compliment of ammuntion.  He then went back to his bed and reached behind the headboard.  Yep, it was still there.  The pump shotgun may only be good for short range combat but it had saved his life on numerous occasions.  He racked the chamber until the last of the rounds had been ejected before reloading it.  Life had taught him paying attention to the number of rounds available was sometimes the difference betwen life and death.

With a sigh he headed for the door hoping that this wasn't yet another drill.  Then again people didn't shoot at you typically when it was a drill.

Within deep space, a large fleet had been moving. Under the cover a of magic, they hid their numbers but not their signature. The Immortals could detect that a fleet is on its way, but not how large it is. The fleet soon came into view as a large purplish cloud. It covered the entire fleet as it drew closer. Soon, the cloud slipped off the fleet and revealed hundreds of ships. These ships had a gold look to them and ancient Egyptian writing on the sides of the ships. They seemed elegant yet dangerous. Their ships ranged in sizes equal to the Immortals fleet and larger. In the back of the fleet, there stood a 4,000-meter ship. The lead ship of the fleet.

These were the Asmodians and they were after the Magic users within Immortal territory. Within the lead ship, Apophis sat within his throne. He eyed the Immortals and a smirk grew across his face. “These lesser beings won’t be much of a fight. Slaughter them and take the Magic users for our lord, Anu Mau. Anyone who isn’t a magic user, kill them. Show no mercy.”

Hundreds of small fighters ranging in 10 meters flew from the Asmodians ships. Like a cloud of locusts, the flew towards the Immortals. The larger ships that were behind the fighters, began to fire large ion bolts towards the complex and ships surround the planet.

there werent too much ships around apex 122 fortunatly, does that did get shot down had their lifeline to bring them to the hub. soon the whole hub was evacuated and the immortal raiders set up some cover walls and sentries as well as auto death ray guns, all aimed at the primary entrance.

keya was the captain of leading this defensive operation, she rushed into the armory and got into an immortal raider armor and picked up a minigun. once completely suited in heavy damage ressistant gear she marched to the reception point where the other immortals have set up, along with rangers and several medics.

keya heard the comment of jessie, they had met not too long ago, this was definetly a recruit that had a presence within the faction. "we might be under attack, many civilian ships have lifelined into the hub and reported a large amount of offensive ships, possibly a few carriers and some other warships closing into our orbit. there's a good chance we'll see food soldiers apear soon, ill adress the other soldiers and call in for some more help, it seems we are dealing with these asmodians i've heard of."

she spoke in her intercom. "attention immortals, all combat workers between recruit and immortal elite report in to the entrance to the hub, expect ressistance upon arrival, im calling for reinforcements, hold your fire if nypherians are in your line of fire." meanwhile she began to broadcast a message to their allies the nypherians, keya herself had no idea how hard spectre butchered the meeting and asked them for help. "attention, all allies nearby, we are under attack by an enemy faction and are requesting help, or location is the secondary base apex 122! please send help!"

after that there was little keya could do but put on her helmet and spin up her chaingun to shoot down any early attackers, with this amount of defense it was already unlikely they would get through.

Jessie nodded to Keya as she explained the situation to her. None of it sounded good in the slightest. The fact an invasion had started wasn't great, however she needed to be careful, unless she wanted to drop like the rest of the recruits.

Jessie wasted no time in sprinting to the entrance hub, pulling out her revolver as she did so. Once she made it she fired off two bullets, being as careful with her aim as possible. She didn't want to use her shotgun, because at this distance it would be pointless.

"Come at us fucker!" Jessie shouted, already in the heat of battle. It never took long for her mindset to change from calm, to a destructive and deadly battle mindset. Carefully aiming up another shot, she fired off another round. Her bullets may of seemed like nothing, compared to Keya's fire power. However the extra boost was never something to be rejected. "What the he'll do these idiots want anyway?" Jessie shout, out loud, over the ringing of bullets flying through the air.

Lineak stepped out into the sunlight and cringed.  This wasn't exactly what he thought he had signed up for.  Battle on an enormous stage with aircraft coming down firing salvos into the streets.  This was downright dangerous.  If history had proved one thing though airpower was never enough.  You needed boots on the ground to occupy, let alone conquer.  If there were to be boots on the ground they wold have to pass through the hub.  He cringed at the thought.

Fighting in a confined space was going to be difficult at best.  His mind whirling he went through what he remembered of the hub trying to come up with a defensible position from where he could do the most damage.  There was little to place he could come up with.  The problem with short range weapons is they're short range. 

With a sigh he put one foot in front of the other and began running towards the hub.  Time to earn his pay.  He only hoped he'd be alive long enough to spend it.

The fighters began to strike at the wall of the planet. The ships now began to focus and strike at any Immortal ship that came out to fight. Apophis watched the battle unfold, he began to passed back and forward. “This shield is beginning to annoy me, we have to break through soon before the Nypherians show up. All forces, focus on one section of the exterior and break through. Fighters, search and destroy any ships that try to leave the exterior.” The large Asmodian fleet began to focus their fire on one spot on the exterior. Fights swarmed exits of the exterior, picking off any fighters that tried to leave and fight.

The fleet moved closer towards the planet and prepared to invade. Their targets were the population and the secondary target is the planet. Soon, the exterior had been breached and the Asmodians had also begun their siege on the entrance of the exterior. Bombers and frigates began to focus fire on the entrance. Fighters and bombers flew through the breached exterior. Fighters and bombers struck at military structures and took flak rounds. Both sides equally taking hits. Fighters now began to sweep the ground, shooting any people caught in the open.

even under the heavy gunfire, the shell of the planet held up valliantly, wich is not much of a surprise with how thick it is. perhaps for the best too as the polution on the planet would make it impossible to repair the shell, and possibly backfire horribly on the fighters with the flammable gas entering the jet thrusters and possibly exploding, the gas was very volatile to say the least. meanwhile the stand held up bravely, though the immortals did take casualties, none of them actually died with the medical bay being right nearby. and the raiding parties wreaked havoc in the hub, showing off what it meant to be immortal keya too held stand, leading the recruits into battle under the support of klaut's long range gunfire they were far from surrendering.

but even if they were far from surrendering, keya got bugged by the fact the whole planet's production was paused for the workers needed to take shelter in fortress. she wanted to crush the invaders faster so their secret projects could be done faster. keya realized she took bomb disposal armor instead of raiding armor as the battle went on, while both berserker made armors were effective at stopping gunfire, the raider armor could block weapons much more effectively. she was forced to retreat and equip her rogue armor again quickly. as soon as she was dressed in her sleek rogue armor she got another weapon and charged back into the fight head on, with the rogue shield deployed.

although they could keep this defense up for a very long time if it were necesary, keya's patience was wearing very thin and she really hoped something would happen soon...

As Keya got bored with the repetitive and uneventful gun fight, so did Jessie. However the difference was Jessie had started to get bored of the long distance fighting, as well as she was going through her revolver ammonium at an alarming rate.

Deciding to get into the thick of battle Jessie pocketed her revolver and slung her shotgun over from her back to her hands. Charging up to Keya, she activated her own Rogue shield, before laying out the full force of a powered up shotgun.

After days of thinking, and doing nothing but having her mind plagued with unwanted thoughts, this is what she needed. Something that she could just focus on, forgetting about everything else for a while.

Bomb blasts, bullets straffing and the screams of the wounded were more than enough to motivate Lineak to move even faster.  The screams of the wounded and dying with him the entire time.  What if I moved just a little faster? The thought promted his change and midstride he changed to wolf form sprinting for the hub.  His heightened senses and knowledge of the area giving him clues as to how the battle was playing out on the inside.

He found it hard to believe the enemy troops on the ground hadn't been flanked yet.  It looked as if the Immortals were trying to hold a defensive position instead of mounting a counteroffensive.  Defense had its merits but if there were more ships bringing in reinforments something needed to be done.  The something had Lineak's name all over it.  He had been looking forward to a close quarters fight for sometime and this was going to be fun!

In wolf form he sprinted into the hub making a beeline for an enemy position.  As he leapt towards it he triggered his change into werewolf form.  The five soldiers anticipating dealing with a fifty pound wolf soon found themselves impaled on the claws of a three hundred pound killing machine.  Lineak howled into the air before changing once more into a wolf and hurtling towards the next enemy position.

Nypherian fleets broke from warp on the left side of the Asmodian fleet. Three fleets of twenty ships opened fire upon the Asmodians. These fleets were all mixed with MC2B23’s, Assault Cruiser  MC 3B10’s, MC 401S Elite Assault Cruiser, AC B12C Cruiser Class Frigate’s, and AC G20C Cruiser Class Frigate’s. The smaller MC 1013 frigates emerged from the larger ships. Nypherian fighters also came out as they swarmed the Asmodian fleet. The Asmodians stopped firing at the main entrance of the planet and now focused their efforts on the Nypherians.


Apophis stood up in his chair and looked out the windows at the Nypherian fleets. “We’re out numbered and the Flag ship is in danger. We must retreat!” “We can’t! There is something within the Nypherian fleet preventing large ships from entering warp!” Apophis glared at the relaying soldier and looked back out towards the enemy fleet. Ion bolts began to strike the 5,000 meter flag ship, causing the shield to absorb most but still causing the ship to shake.

Nypherian fighter soon entered the hole that had been created by the Asmodian initial attack.
Lord Srox soon arrived by fighter. Landing on the ground and jumping out of the cockpit. She knew the Asmodians had already landed ground troops and the Immortals were holding their defenses. She walked towards the enemy lines.

The Asmodians reacted to the werewolf and fired their weapon at it. There were also large beings that stood 12 feet tall and activated magical shields. Forming a line on the front.

keya cursed as the asmodians activated a shield of some sort, she orders raiders to attack the shield from close range and the heavily armored raiding parties moved in close to the shield. dealing as much damage as their shotguns, smoker rifles and blasters allowed. for a while the heavily armored close range fighters dealed massive damage to the shields.

keya had to do something, these shields were a problem and the immortals were taking fire fast, while the raiding troops could take this amount of damage pretty much the rangers were finding it thougher to dodge the incoming fire. she decided to go after these shield generators, whatever they were. she grappled the high cieling of the hub and reeled herself upward and flung herself over the shields.

she landed on one fo these creatures. while keya was normally not this adept with bows as sylvia, she knew how to use them and fired an electrically charged arrow into the head of one of the creatures wich could easily kill it with the electricity alone. with one shield down the raiding parties could rush past the current gap in the defenses and wreak havoc in close range.

keya picked off some of the gunners targetting lineak. even if the wolf form protected him from damage, he could miss the unwanted atention probaply. with the shields under attack keya  grappled herself upwards again and landed behind the enemy frontline and began killing indiscriminatly, switching through arrows when she needed for quicker kills and faster progression, though the asmodians tenaciously kept up their offense, all the immortals needed now was a little more time or a little more firepower.

After two shots of her gun Jessie charged further in. Slinging her shotgun over her back she unsheathed one of her scythes and leaped for the closest invader. With one swift swing to the neck, she had taken one out. Standing up over the body she pulled out her revolver and fired two shots, taking out a few more. Holstering her gun she unsheathed her other scythe, only to stare down the incoming forces.

"Well I'm an Immortal, let's see if that title holds true." Jessie muttered before leaping into the heart of battle. Her scythes cut through the air swiftly, and the brutally heavy sounds of metal clashing against armour and bone came from her, as she cut down more of the imposing forces. If anyone was to witness her, they would be able to see how her movements followed the part of a flame. She was flexible, and when she fought. She fought hard, and fast.

The gunfire directed his way shouldn't have surprised him but it did. Surely there were bigger threats in the Immortal arsenal than a sinle werewolf? He figured the only way to keep himself free from multiple holes was to stay on the offensive, and move qickly. He didn't believe whoever these guys were would slaughter their own in order to hit him. Lineak was even more surprised to see multiple enemies targeting him mowed down from an Immortal he had yet to meet. This was something he could get used to. He could also get used to the counterofensive which was being formed. All it had needed was somebody to get it going. If he had to be the one, so be it.

Huge figures and shielded figures. Lineak chuckled at the display in front of him. The shielded figures offered a bit of a challenge but the speed the wolf form offered more than made up for the shields. As he moved to flank flem they were forced with a dilema face the wolf and be mowed down by other Immortals or risk having the wolf turn into werewolf and tear them apart. Neither option worked well. The giant figures proved even more easy for Lineak to have his way with. In wolf form it took nothing to jet between their legs and then change to werewol and slash away at achilles tendons.

The battle raged on outside of the planet. The Nypherians had now surrounded the Asmodian fleet and slowly began to pick them off. With surrounding the enemy, they cut off Asmodain troop movement within Apex 122. This gave Nypherians a large advantage in sending in fighters and troops to support the Immortals. More Nypherian drop ships came through the exposed hole in the side of the wall. Landing within the outskirts of the battle. The Immortals had held on long enough and now were going to get support.

Nypherian fire had begun to focus within the right flank of the Asmodian forces. Nypherian HO1 heavy gun fire ripped into Asmodian flanks. Nypherian and cybernetic forces held the line as they fired into groups of the Asmodians. Lord Srox, stood tall just behind the HO1’s. Deflecting shots directed at her with her Void Saber. The glowing blue blade hummed as she watched the battlefield. Asmodian forces began to break and their lines fell apart. A two-front combat had slowly picked them apart.

though the asmodians were ruthless, the immortals had the advantage of being nearby their medical bays wich ment wounded troops could get mended back to health almost right after taking a hit. and even when taking hits it would usually be the bacteria, who's raider armor was thick enough to protect the medical bay from the asmodians, those getting in front of their barrels would be promptly eviscerated by their close range weaponry. Though this power defense did not mean the immortals did not feel heat of battle, though it was not the bacteria but the rangers who traded their armor for agility, many rangers got hit by sharpshooting asmodians and had to be brought to the medical bay by the bacteria.

With the nypherians stopping the asmodians from entering the hub, outside the extraction point many asmodians had already fallen to the automated defenses of the immortals as well as the many patrolling bacteria. Now with the entrance plugged the immortals could head outside to meet the asmodians and clear them out there. 

Keya who had noticed the nypherian presence put on her gasmask and rushed outside, using her grapple hooks to rush to the nypherian lines Flying through the gassy clouds she could hardly make out where she would land and landed nearby srox and upon landing instantly she turned around and opened fire at the asmodians, the heavy firerate of the mp35 combined and the bacteria flanking the asmodians that were attempting to fend off the nypherians combined with the nypherian gunfire made short work of the majority of the asmodians.

With the entrance plugged, Jessie grinned under her cloth. Cutting down the last of the asmondian forces in front of her, she quickly pulled out her own gas mask. Once she strapped that on, Jessie sprinted as fast as her legs would carry her. As she made her way out, she leapt from the entrance, only to bring her scythe's down hard on an unlucky soul.

As she picked herself up she looked at the mayhem, and smiled at it all. With adrenalin pumping into her veins she only charged off once more, cutting down any of those who may of stood in her path. Eventually she would of made her way up to a werewolf, who seemed to be doing a colossal amount of damage by himself. "Need some help there?" Jessie asked, as she threw the point of her scythe into the neck of an enemy.

"Need some help there?"

The question couldn't have come at a worse time.  Teeth imbedded deep in the neck on an adversary Lineak tore the fool's throat out dropping the mass of flesh in his mouth into his open hand before changing to human form. 

"I'm good, thanks."

He extended a bloody hand to the scythe wielding woman unsure of battlefield ettiquette with the Immortals. 

"Lineak, pleased to meet ya."

The flesh in his other hand just looked so good he couldn't resist.  He changed forms and threw it into his mouth swallowing the entire piece whole.  Seeing a figure on the ground trying to raise its rifle towards the woman he changed to human form and quickly let loose a round from his shotgun.

"Sorry about that.  Well best be moving."

Within a few hours, the enemy forces on the ground had been dealt with. Nypherian troops began to round up the dead and burn them. They piled the dead in one mass grave and burnt the bodies and the Asmodian technology. Nypherians burnt the bodies with Flamethrowers and other methods. They stood by as they guarded the pile of burning bodies. Lord Srox stood by as she looked over the “burning project”. She could still hear the battle that raged over the planet. She looked back at the Immortals, gathering their dead. She was curious if they buried their dead or burnt them, she watched for time to time. She snorted at the annoyance of the smell of burning Asmodian bodies, “Scum…” she mumbled to herself.

She walked over towards Keya, the woman that had fought within the Nypherian front line with her. “The battle over the planet won’t take long. The Senate had ordered us to respect our agreement but since the woman who I spoke too wasn’t too polite and only seemed to want us to bail your people out. The Senate felt like they were being used, so we have orders to not help you clean up.” She went to walk away but paused. “Oh, you fought well.” She said as she walked back to her soldiers.

The immortals, unfortunatly for the asmodians were adept at using lifelines and had some revival techniques, many seemingly dead soldiers were revived with the use of alchemical potions, defibrilators and certain drugs helped many of the fallen bacteria back on their feet, those that were wounded were hauled to oasis to get the best medical supplies their company had to offer.

Keya's eyes narrowed at srox walking away from her, but for now she wasnt ready to have her leave just yet. "wait, wait a second, miss. You said a woman not too polite? let me guess, dark armor, purple robes, sketchy mask, emotionally unstable, exploiting magic, not too tall and highly pretentious? if yes then i am very sorry on behalf of the immortals. That was Spectre, she was a former dictator and often forgets that her current employee's are not undead and have emotions. Anyway, my name is Keya Gildas, i have the same rank as her, so if you want we can go over the details because i have no doubt she added her own conditions to the deal..."

She looks off into the distance, to see Spectre leading her own undead soldiers to the barracks and frowns, by now it was about obvious that spectre did not only have a negative reputation with the nypherians, but with everyone. This shouldnt have come as a surprise to Srox, even when commanding her undead minions, her tyrannic tendencies were very visible, shouting and cursing. Revolted once more at Spectre's style of leading her troop she proceeded to speak more to Srox.

"im sure she didnt tell you that our leader Tower has forced her to only lead undead troops, because 
she once had a battalion of pathfinders and they lost all their faith in themselves. Just dont let that pretentious borderline tyrant represent our faction...we have our own innovations and scientists and are happy to deliver you our precious metals wich she no doubt offered for whatever she asked."

she makes a gesture with her hand, inviting srox to wander along with her for a little bit. Keya certainly was alot more nice than spectre wich was not exactly high praise but she had a certain tone in her voice that made her kind of ambigous but alot more interesting than the edgy depressing woman that formerly recieved srox for bussines "and for now this faction is like a campfire in survival camping wich for now has not much to offer but a little bit of warmth, but once the fire gets big, it will watch your back and keep predators from attacking during the sleep."


one of the heavily armored bacteria soldiers walked up to the elf and saluted her while staying mute, but pointing at the main base of operations. "uhm! my troops really need my presence but take this, me number is on it and contact me whenever you need me." she says as she searches through her pockets for a small device, she hands it to srox and it looks alot like an ordinary cell phone, except for the large "warp" button. For the rest it was very similar to normal civilian technology with touch screen and PDA features. Before leaving keya turns at srox one last time to give her some advice on the alien device she was most likely holding. "you can change the warp destination in options! for now it's set to warp to my office because it used to be mine."

Upon meeting Lineak Jessie upholstered her revolver and pointed it at him. Then with a sharp bang! Her barrel was smoking. Lineak would be able to feel the wind rush right pass his ear as the bullet barely missed him. Then not even a second later the groan of pain, and the expected thud of a body, came from behind him.

"Sorry about that, he was charging at you." Jessie said holstering her gun. "Name's Jessie." She said as she looked around the area, only to find a field of dead bodies. "That went quicker than expected..." Jessie said under her breath. It seemed that the combined forces of both Nypherian and Immortals were more than enough to win the battle on the ground. The atmosphere of the planet was more than enough to take out any ship in the sky, however Jessie didn't let her guard down. She was expecting another wave of enemies to come down and reek havoc.

The bullet passing past him didn't go unnoticed.  For a brief moment Lineak felt as if he had offended the woman.  Either with his lack of ettiquette or with his hunger or flesh.  An instant later the sound of a body hitting the ground reminded him they were on a battlefield.  Can't let your guard down no matter how devastated the enemy combatants were.

"Thanks for that Jesie.  Looks like we're down to just mopping up here.  Not very sporting is it?  I don't mind a fight or even a hunt, but this is gong to come down to butchery."

He surveyed the batleield once more going over in his mind the likely places for prey to try to hide from a big nasty predator.  There were a few places out and about but not many viable ones.  The only true places to hide would be in the living quarters of those already working onplanet.  He chuckled quietly he would probably try that approach in their shoes.  Sabatoge was going to be the threat now.  Put a few Immortals in key areas though and it should eliminate that threat, or at least curb it.  What did he know though?
