The doors closed and Henry was left alone in the room for almost two minutes before a large yellow scaled reptile appeared at the doorway.He had a large scar that ran from his left eye to his upper lip.
His toothed face grinned a wicked smile as he entered the room his blue eyes fixed on the machine before him.His was larger the then Decanus.About twice the size of Henry,he wore armour adorned with golden plates and a sash that ran across his chest carrying numerous medals of various shapes and sizes.His right hand sat on the rounded pommel of his gladius.

"Ah you must be the Zodarrin-Ka that defeated the Decanus in an honorable duel.Please have a seat on one of the small chairs over there.We have some things to discuss including an offer I hope you would find suitable."

He walked towards an door and opened it revealing his personal armory,he placed his gladius on a rack and removed his armour,revealing a grey jumpsuit he wore underneath.He then closed the doors and tapped on the keypad next to it locking the armory.He then opened a rack on the wall that contained strange glasses of an unknown liquid and took one with a green-yellow colour.He then walked towards one of the chairs and sat in a position that reminded Henry of an meditating monk.He took one of the fruits on the plates and bit into it using his canines to bite through it's tough shell.He chewed for a bit and began to speak.

"Firstly for my own curiosity,who are you and what is your tale? And why in the name of the Five would did you attack the scouting party over an crater?"

The Lord-General's raised his right scaled eyebrow,it was plain to see that he was confused by all this talk of something called Nazi's and this "DIE GLOCKE" but what stood out the most was the date he gave,the Lord-General recalls that the scholars estimate that the current galactic year is 2564.There is no way an machine could have lived this long on an jungle planet alone without any major damage.

He took another bite of the fruit watching Henry with renewed interest.

The Lord-General drank some of the liquid from the glass he took earlier and sighed with relief as he placed it back onto the table.

"I see......Well then." The Lord-General chuckles a bit. "Forgive me but I find it rather strange,an robot out of time meeting a race from another galaxy.I'm sure this is surprising even to you."

He stood and stretched walking towards his table and scanned through some of the open scrolls lain upon it,he then returned to his seat and looked at Henry his face emotionless and his blue eyes fixed upon Henry and his slightly torn clothing. "You mentioned you where powered by nuclear energy,if you wish I can call some of the engineers to repair the damage done by the Decanus otherwise,if you feel uncomfortable with us we can provide you with the materials you need to repair yourself."

He finished consuming the fruit whole and gave a slight smile.

The Lord-General smiled and hunched himself closer towards Henry.

"You see the Imperium is but an fraction of it's former power,we lack resources and knowledge about this galaxy.We have numerous agents across many planets but most if not all of them are Varanidae,my race......This limits our infiltration and information gathering efforts.I have argued that we should seek to recruit locals as agents to allow us to gather information in a more....indirect way.You have proven yourself as an Zodarrin-Ka.....An honourable outsider."

The Lord-General took another fruit and held it tightly in his claws. "Indeed I am offering you a job,one where you can act as an agent for the Imperium.We will reward you with an fair wage of whatever currency or reward you find valuable,in addition you will have the support of the Serpentum Legion and if you are clever enough to make an name for yourself I am sure even the nobles of the Imperial Court would consider your services.You will have freedom to roam the galaxy if you wish,you will not be entirely bound by the Imperium.In a sense you will be an mercenary agent of the Serpentum Imperium however the choice is entirely yours.If you choose to refuse we shall drop you off at the nearest populated spaceport once our planetary survey is complete."

The Lord-General smiled and stood. "Kre'lz!" He shouted and the crewmember who was fiddiling with a tablet of sorts earlier came running in with an gladius sheated in it's scabbard.

He took the gladius from the crewman held the sheated blade towards Henry.

"Also yes we might not be entirely democratic we have our reasons....But we are far from a......what is the word....ah totalitarian regime,oh I haven't introduced myself.....I am Lord-General Silvaar Whitefenr of the Serpentum Legion,firstborn of House Kres and commander of the 187th Legion.You will be under my command and should you encounter any issues regarding the Imperium or Legion just ask me."

The Lord-General gripped hard at the hand held out at him and shook it with excitement.This would be the first local recruited into the Imperium.And even more shocking that it was an machine.

"From this point on you can proudly wear the rank of Auxiliary.And if you would divert your gaze at the hearth next to us." The "hearth flickered and revealed a uncompleted map of the milky way galaxy. "Good....good" The Lord-General signed.He seemed tired for but a fleeting minute before he smiled and looked back at Henry.

"I'll have Kre'lz here escort you to a private room where you can rest,an team of engineers will be there shortly to repair the damages done to you,they will also fix your torn clothing.Your weapons and belongings will be brought to your room as well.I do hope our relationship will be prosperous Auxiliary Henry." 

The Lord-General walked back to his armoury,opened it and began to reequip his armour.Armour he wore so long it felt like an second skin.
