Name: The Crimson Legion

Homeplanet: The faction’s base is located in the Moon Avos, which rotates around the planet Calindas.
 
 
Strengths:
The strength of the legion lies in their numbers; most of its Mercs are killers, psychopaths, pirates, ex-military. Etc.
Shock and surprise tactics.
Tendancy for explosive weaponry.

Weaknesses:
No discipline
Large numbers come and go depending on what Government or lord Ryckert sells his services to.

Appearance:
There is no general look to them, some paint on, tattoo on, or carve on the emblem on Ryckert’s ship, which has become a sort of coat of arms for the legionnaires, a sword with a wolf on one side and a snake’s head on the other.

Culture:
Mercs, pirates. Ryckert demands a certain level of stability in Miva, the capital city of Avos. The robotic guards that keep the peace aren’t known for being lenient. You must follow the code of honor placed by Ryckert, anything else is fair game.

History:
While hiding from a patrol of demos ships, Ryckert stumbled upon the forgotten moon of Avos. It was a forest covered moon with breathable air and quite the exotic fauna. It was the kinda place a Merc like him could come to and go on a small hunting vacation, no need to worry about local hunting laws or preservation rules. As Ryckert explored the planet he came across the abandoned city of Miva. The place was in pristine condition, apperantly who ever had ruled this city previously had left a fully autonomous robot force to keep up its care and protection. Ryckert made it to the center of the city where a large spire lay, in it he found the controls to the city and made sure to only give himself control of the planets AI.
 

Ryckert soon made himself the self-proclaimed ruler of Avos. Any sign of contention was quickly put down thanks to his robotic guards and Miva soon came to be known as a outlaw paradise. A neutral place for outlaws to come and seek work, sell theit ill-gotten goods, plan illegal activity, or lay low for a while. Soon, with all the money the city was making, Ryckert started his own personal merc company that ballooned into a small private mercenary army.  Now Ryckert is looking to make a name for himself across the stars, as a powerful military leader for hire and de facto ruler of Avos.
