Sam'anar did not move for those remaining 56 minutes, standing still and silent despite all interactions as if his metallic form were actually a statue. Only when his conjured clock struck that time was up did he reanimate, swiping the conjuration away with his spare hand and turning to see if all had gathered as requested. Once he was sure they had, he began conjuring celestial architecture in his hands.

"I am about to open a gateway to Hades, specifically the very throne of Aboleth himself. He will brag and taunt for only so long and fighting him will be your only option. In theory I need only minutes to prepare and transport my creation, but in a fight with Aboleth you may not have that much time. Work together and stay alive as long as you can." At this his hands widened, expanding the architecture he'd created so far into a large spinning circle of thin white energy. 

"Finally, after 500 years, the demons will fall." A push forward at his circle displaced it slightly, bringing forward the center part which suddenly lit up with colours. Now they could see what lay on the other side; dark rock and fire.

The portal was ready to enter.

Upon his throne Aboleth peered through the stars, intently spectating his armies that approached Zaegrim's Spirit. He did not hear anything, not even the portal, until the first footstep came through. Only then did his gaze snap from the cosmos to the ground before him, a long winding path down to the large open rock that these intruders now entered upon. At first he did not rise from his throne fully, instead straightening up to examine these new sights.

"What do we have here?" The Demon Lord's voice echoed throughout his domain. "Intruders?"
Now he rose from his throne, standing defiantly once the portal had closed behind them.
"Why do you come to the feet of Aboleth? To beg for mercy? To betray your mortal friends?" 
His vicious mouth curled into an evil grin, almost excited at the sight of people who might be here to beg or betray. 

"Or are you here to die?" His expression rested now into that of the usual anger, claws opening in anticipation of tearing these mortals limb from limb.
"Choose quickly, weaklings."

Sebastian had arrived back to the meeting room on time. He had made sure to re-calibrate his armour and specifically, Heads-Up-Display just in case. On his person he carried a scopd Designated Marksman Rifle with extended magazines and a laser targeter for better accuracy over longer distances. His secondary weapon included an Assault Rifle with an underslung grenade launcher. His sidearm was silenced machine-pistol. Finally, he carried multiple fragmentation grenades for crowd control.

He watched as the Celestial formed Celestial architecture in his hand and expanded it into a portal. Quite the show.
"I'll go first" he said as soon as Sam'anar had finished talking. The macabre landscape did not phase him: but only served his drive to win this battle at all costs. Without further ado, he stepped through the portal first, his DMR in hand. As soon as he came out of the other side, he snapped into a stance and aimed his weapon around, scoping out the area. It was then he heard Aboleth's voice and his attention was drawn to his imposing figure, standing in front of a throne. The portal had closed behind them.

"Why don't you come down here and find out, huh amigo?" He took one hand off his DMR and with his fingers, beckoned the demon lord to face them. "I got a little something for you here!" He taunted.

Kitty cast one last glance in Sam'anar's direction, she searched for something to say, but couldn't muster up much more than, "Good luck, we won't take long." With that being said she too went through the portal, raising her eyebrows at Sebastian's taunt. "Really? Well, at least you didn't say 'Say hello to my little friend'." Raising a palm towards Aboleth's direction, her palm began to flicker with white light. "Ved guderne give mig rent lys, så jeg kan jage mørket og de ting, der gemmer sig i det!"


Pure white light burst from Kitty's palm, headed straight in the demon lord's direction. But when the large bolt of light left Kitty's palm, she let out a hiss of pain. When she retracted her hand to look at it, blisters and burns covered the skin on of her palm. It was as if her own spell had effected her too, that had never happened before. But Kitty had no time to dwell on it, withdrawing her sword she nodded in Sebastian's direction, they needed to move. 

Elias mentally designated himself as the resident spellcaster. After all, this new spartan dude had the guns, and Kitty was far more prone to stabbing things with a sword. He ensured his shield amulet was sufficiently charged and drew Aiwenor. Steel rang though the hall as he stepped through the more than impressive portal Sam'anar had torn through space-time. The wizard allowed himself a grin as magic began flowing through his staff and sword.

The spartan took the lead, stepping forward and threatening the demonlord Aboleth with his mundane weaponry, no doubt specially improved by whatever facilities the UNSC used to construct their weaponry. Kitty, like usual, couldn't stand having someone ahead of her and chose to take the first shot, Elias thought he saw blisters or something on Kitty's hand after firing the bolt, though he couldn't tell through the red light and ash of Hades. The amber tip of Elias' staff radiated an orange-white glow as a consistent stream of Hades' firey mana flowed through his staff.

Aboleth examined the different approaches each visitor took; the first clad in armour taunting him with words, the second whom he recognised firing off a spell of light, and the third hanging back with channeled magic. Immediately he began strategising the roles of these opponents he would now no doubt be facing. Firstly though his clawed hand raised swiftly to almost bat away the incoming light as if it were nothing but a thrown ball. The fact that her hand blistered made the demon cackle with laughter.

"This is who they have sent to face me? A soldier, a vampire, and a wizard?" His laughter grew, the monstrous man almost doubling over as he seemed to be genuinely amused by the situation. "Even Nozdormu had the honour of more opponents! You disgrace me!" Aboleth's voice now boomed louder and with anger, both of his hands stretching forward to unleash a giant hose of flames barreling down upon all three opponents. A continuous stream of fire across the whole platform that lasted five seconds in total, but packed the heat of a rocket engine.

After his attack was done he lowered his hands, half-expecting the group to be barbecued by now, but not letting down his guard so naively.

Sebastian looked over to Kitty briefly before she unleashed an attack on Aboleth. The demon quite easily managed to deflect the light, and then began to double over with laughter.

"Lemme give you something to really laugh about.." Sebastian said out loud in a threatening tone as he raised his DMR and aimed it at Aboleth's head. However the demon's hands suddenly stretched forth and unleashed a massive hose of flames. The attack nearly caught Sebastian off guard but with adrenaline already coursing through his veins, Sebastian quickly managed to use his suit's in-built thruster packs and evade to the side, clearing him of the attack.

However he did not anticipate the sheer heat that was given off from the flames and their impact, which caused the energy shielding surrounding his armour to flicker a bit. In response, Sebastian moved a few more paces away from the five second-long attack that was aimed at them, doing so quickly while his firearm was still aimed at the demon's head. Without missing a beat, he fired off three shots.

When the fire cleared Kitty was cleaning her nails with a knife, a bored expression on her face. "Fire? Seriously? Do your research." There wasn't a burn mark on Kitty, her hair wasn't even ruffled by Aboleth's attack. Then suddenly fire began to crawl across Kitty's skin, except her fire didn't look quite right, the usually orange-ish flames looked redder and had ribbons of black fire burning through them. "You know, I've burned a lot of things. But burning hell was my favorite." 

Kitty looked around at the terrain of Hades, still looking bored, and now unimpressed. "This hell hole is just as shitty as the last well, hell hole. Same doom and gloom, same fire and brimstone everywhere. God you demons are so boring.  But then again what can you expect from a race so single minded, whose only goal is power. Pathetic." Kitty rotated her wrist around in a circle, heaving out a sigh. 

But then the small flames that had been flicking off her skin exploded, now she was surrounded in a fiery red and black aura, a blood thirsty smirk on her face. "Now come on Aboleth, hit me with something that'll actually hurt."

Elias was shocked by the sudden burst of magically conjured fire. He desperately conjured a barrier of water to deflect the fire for just a moment. Long enough for him to call upon Aiwenor's wind enchantments. With a puff of wind, Elias flashed to his right, just far enough to escape the brunt of the fire, but not quite to escape the rippling wave of heat emanating from the stream. The fringes of Elias' robes started to catch fire before he managed to magically push the heat away.

Aboleth's magical power was far greater than Elias could have ever anticipated. If he hadn't been able to react quickly enough, Elias would have been roasted alive. Kitty, however, seemed to have taken the blow just fine, which left Elias to question how exactly she was immune to fire at all. The spartan also seemed to deftly dodge the blast and take minimal damage.

Light magic wouldn't work against demons. So perhaps Ice magic would. Elias muttered a few words in quasi-latin and the tip of his staff began glowing a cobalt-white. Elias flung a dense wave of cold and ice straight towards Aboleth's head. The wizard's head spun for a bit, the exertion of energy and the heat of causing him to lose focus for a moment as his attack flew towards Aboleth. After regaining his focus, Elais resumed the constant invisible flow of magic through his staff.

The clatter of bullets hitting a carapace-like material rung out along with a low guttural growl from Aboleth. Slowly his head turned to look at the Spartan who had fired the shots at him, anger burning through his gaze. His next moves happened in quick unison as one swift flow. Firstly he allowed the wave of ice to come close enough to touch before grasping at the energy in the air around him. In an odd display the cold and ice warped around in a rapid, thin stream behind Aboleth, running along his back before shooting out his other arm.

This stream now headed at full speed towards Sebastian, prioritizing speed over accuracy as more of a reaction to his bullets than a lethal blow. Almost immediately after releasing the ice he lunged forward into a leap, easily clearing the gap between his throne and the platform they all stood on in a second. A loud boom accompanied his landing, along with an energised fist aiming to crash down upon Kitty's chest, combining his demonic magic and the energy of his fall to try smash her into the ground.

Once the fist has completed it's arc down at Kitty, Aboleth would turn it along with his upper-half with a flick of the wrist, unleashing a singular fireball about the size of a basketball towards Elias. This attack with quick yet lacked the intensity or strength of his first fiery attack. 

"You dare come to my domain and threaten me?"

Considering his planned timing, the ice and his fist would aim to land at the same time, with the fireball coming not even a second after.

As the bullets from his DMR practically bounced off the demon's head, Sebastian lowered his weapon slightly to analyse any signs of damage. None.
"Maldito infeirno..." He muttered.

He looked over to Elias and Kitty, the former having send an ice-based attack at the demon while the latter stood there waiting for Aboleth to strike again. The ice attack, Sebastian observed, was quickly rendered useless as the demon lord somehow managed to take control of the attack.

His sudden burst in movement caught Sebastian off-guard. The demon had made a giant leap towards Kitty. Sebastian quickly turned his DMR to track the demon and fired off shots in hopes of deterring his attack even if slightly, but his thick carapace rendered his attack useless. At the same time he had began to shout a warning to his friend:
"Kitty! Look-" but was then quickly knocked away by the ice blast that was thrown at him.

Sebastian stumbled back a few feet with his energy shields going down by 20% after absorbing the attack, before regaining his balance. However he was too late to do anything about Aboleth quickly descending upon the vampire.

Kitty could clearly see Aboleth's fist coming down on her, and she knew she couldn't evade it quickly enough so she did something strange. She lied down on her bsvk, but kept her sword pointing upward. Her burning fingertips skimmed her sword, burning a time into it that made the sword begin to glow. Suddenly the sword began to grow vertically, becoming a much longer sword aimed directly at Aboleth's oncoming fist. 

When his fist slammed down, it would have impaled itself onto the sword. Although the force of his punch still reached Kitty, duplicating her sword arm as she fought to keep her weapon straight. But then she abandoned her weapon, her form turning into lava as she then slithered up his arm like a snake made of lava. When she got to her feet again and took on the shape of a person, the lava have way to flesh. She continued to run up his arm until she got to his shoulder, her healing sword arm hanging a bit limp at her side. Spinning and kicking her leg out, she aimed an incredibly forceful kick towards Aboleth's nose.

The following moments happened quickly. Aboleth somehow redirected Elias' attack back at the spartan while hurling a fireball in his direction and jumping to slam a fist into Kitty. Elias reached out his staff to draw as much energy away from his ice attack as possible before it impacted the spartan. Meanwhile, the fireball crashed into Elias' emergency shield. A demi sphere of translucent blue light flashed into existence and shattered the moment Aboleth's fireball collided with Elias' barrier. He noted Kitty transform into lava and swing a kick for Aboleth's nose.

The demonlord clearly had the upper hand in magic, especially given how easily he redirected Elias' strongest magical strike, but that didn't mean he was immune to physical damage. Elias deftly sheathed Aiwenor and pulled his Necromancy Wand from a hidden pocket in his robes. With a flick of his wrist and a flash of sickly purple light, a dozen ghostly skeletal knights rose from the ground. Garbed in billowing capes and thick plate armor each of the twelve skeletal warriors wielded a greatsword paired with a large kite shield. Elias gave a silent order and the skeletons charged with inhuman speed, aiming to bring their swords down on Aboleth with their superhuman strength. Elias hid his wand and drew his sword once again, recharging his shield amulet and preparing magic for his next move.

Letting out a roar of pain at the sword cutting through his arm, Aboleth twisted quickly to try and be rid of the lava crawling up him. By the time it took form there was a foot heading for his face, but reactions were on his side. Two great claws snapped up to grab her leg before the impact, tightening their grip around before attempting to slam her into the rocky ground like a hammer on an anvil. If successful he would then only release one hand, using the other still attached to drag her closer so he could deliver a large scratch straight across her stomach and chest.

By this time he realised the skeletons approaching around him, causing him to release Kitty and swipe out with his arm to hold them back. 
"Petty conjurations!" He shouted, flicking up his own hand which caused the earth to shake at first. After a few moments demonic hands began to burst up from the ground, clawing at the legs of both skeletons and mortals. Any who were laid down on the floor would be at risk of being pinned down for good by these hands.

With demonic energy surging through his claws, he lashed out at the other skeletons, although finding it difficult with the injuries on his right arm.

Sebastian chose to take advantage of the demon lord's momentary distraction. Switching to his Assault Rifle that was more suited to the now mid-ranged conflict, Sebastian charged at the demon with superhuman speed. Taking aim at roughly his chest area, he opened fire with with short controlled bursts, trying to keep his aim on the beast's chest, although his aim did occasionally falter and move up to the demon's neck.

As he continued to run at the demon, he briefly slowed down and stopped firing, moving his left hand to the second trigger located nearer to the front of the underside of the Assault Rifle. He quickly slid the panel back, unleashing a rocket-propelled grenade from the Assault Rifle's underslung grenade launcher that was aimed roughly at Aboleth's chest.

The panel slid back into place and without a moment's hesitation to see the results, Sebastian resumed his previous speed and moved his left hand back to the main trigger, firing again in short sustained bursts of ammunition.

Kitty let out a grunt upon impact with the ground, she could most definitely hear a cracking or snapping noise, must have broken a few ribs. She kicked at the hand that was dragging her forward, letting out a hiss as a large scratch was left on her chest and stomach. Before she could get up again hands grasped her arms and legs, pinning her to the ground. With a growl she morphed her form into lava again briefly, jumping up into the air after slipping through the grip of the hands. As she landed and morphed into flesh and blood again, she let a wave of fire burst from her hands to burn away some of the hands on a portion of the ground. 

Once she landed she pressed her own hands to the scorched earth, she was quickly burning symbols into the ground with her finger tips. Then she moved around quickly, burning a larger shape in the ground in the shape of a large creature. The ground rumbled as the creature seemed to rise out of the ground in a 3-D version, a golem of earth and fire. But Kitty hesitated in sending it out to battle, a risky thought popping into her head. She glanced at Aboleth, then to her friends, then her mouth set into a line. 

Reaching out a hand towards her creation, she burned a fourth symbol into its leg. Suddenly the energy and magic surrounding the golem felt wrong. The nature of earth and fire seemed to warp, the earth turned pitch black and looked liquid in some portions and gaseous in others where it should have been solid. The fire darkened until it flickered with red and black flames that burned....cold. It let out a ferocious roar, exuding a corrupt and chaotic aura. Similar to a portion of the aura from her families Grimoire, specifically from the darkest sections of the book. Sections that came specifically from Legion. 

With a wave of her hand in the direction of Aboleth, the hulking creature darted forward at the demon lord with surprising speed. Kitty stood nearby, controlling its movements with a pale and slightly sweaty face. Maintaining control over the corrupt and chaotic creature was difficult, she couldn't let the magic consume her or she would lose control of herself and of the creature. But it was a risk she was willing to take, they had a job to do and Kitty would pay any cost to see it through.

Aboleth easily crushed the first of Elias' skeletons, eleven remained. In the same moment, demonic hands erupted from the floor and grabbed four more. Shoving them to the ground, but not quite destroying them. The other skeletons reacted more quickly and hopped back, slicing away at the hands with their greatswords. It wasn't enough though. Elias frowned and focused on channelling the sticky power of necromancy. His eyes turned crimson as the amber tip of Elias' staff glowed sickly purple as necromantic energy flowed through its dead ash. Elias raised it slightly and slammed it into the ground, releasing an echo which pierced through the distant roar of flames and the cracks of battle. The skeletal knights instantly began glowing with a purpleish spectral light and they began fighting with increased speed and vigor. They sliced clean through Aboleth's demonic hands and managed to free two of the four trapped knights. They then darted forward with even greater speed to surround Aboleth in a semicircle and attack the being simultaneously alongside Kitty and the spartan.

Bullets smacked into his carapace again, causing him to glance once again at the incoming Spartan. This time however his attack was unavoidable; a grenade straight to the chest. The explosion hit Aboleth in his direct center, ripping apart his torso to leave a mangle mess of rotten guts and flesh. His roar echoed all around in pain, but he remained standing. 


"You can not defeat me this way!" A claw swiped out haphazardly to fend off the now-free skeletons. "I am Hells' Vengeance, I am Hades itself! Destroying this form will only cause this earth to spawn another!" Another claw swiped in a large arc, but quickly the demon was being surrounded.

Suddenly his hand raised upwards, conjuring a fountain of fire in it's palm. From this claw then poured the flames around him into a fiery aura, pushing back the incoming conjurations with timed pulses of heat. 


"I am bound to this planet, and this planet is bound to me! Did you really think I, Aboleth the Conqueror, would be contained to one mortal form?!" 

"Are you all here?" The orb appeared with them now. "I am afraid, my friends, you had been deceived." It now referred to the screen of Sam'anar, who seemed to be typing more commands on his console now.

Sebastian stopped dead when his suit's sensors alerted him to a massive build-up of energy coming from the sky. The readings were clearly off the charts, which caused him to stop so quickly and direct his attention upwards. It was then he spotted the massive beam of energy descending down at an alarming speed.
"Ay, qué mierda?" He exclaimed as he then turned to run the other direction. "Get out of the way!" He shouted to the others but within the next second, the beam had landed and shook the ground beneath them. Sebastian slowed down to balance himself before looking back. The beam had penetrated the surface. He looked back up to the sky before following the beam of energy back down into the crust again. This couldn't be good. His suit was picking up a mass amount of tremors that were making their way up from the ground. They had to get off the planet, these readings were immense.

It was too late already however, the ground beneath them began to crack and separate into platforms. Sebastian quickly made his way over to Kitty and Elias, intending to stick with them. When the orb appeared, Sebastian paid attention to what it had to say.
"Grab hold?" He looked between it and the others once, before looking at the surrounding area coming apart. He then lunged at the orb and grabbed it, allowing himself to be transported into the dark safety. He looked around for a moment to take in his surroundings, completely devoid of light except two screens composed of mist.

He watched as the planet before him came apart, Sam'anar clearly responsible. Instantly he suffered a flashback. Haven, six years ago. There was nothing they could do when Rha 'Mantakree activated the Shield World's main weapon. Millions of innocents were slaughtered within seconds as their planet was reduced to dust and debris. All they could do was watch. And now.. the same thing was happening. A planet was coming apart and all they could do was watch.

Kitty let out a loud string of goosebump inducing curses at the black void they were transported to, she was mad enough that actual fire was coming out of her mouth and her hair steamed before bursting into flame. "YOU STUPID SON OF A BITCH! I'M GOING TO SHOVE MY BOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS YOUR FUCKING CELESTIAL DENTIST WILL BE CLEANING ITALIAN LEATHER OUT OF YOUR GALAXY TEETH!" Kitty's burning eyes turned to Sebastian, her gaze softening instantly and her hair went out with a puff of smoke. Walking over to her friend she put her hands on his shoulders, shaking him lightly. "Sebastian wake up. Look at me. We are not on Haven. There was no one other than Aboleth and us down on that planet. Rha is dead. We're okay." Then Kitty's eyes flickrd to Elias, concern glimmering in them. "Are you okay Elias?" She waited a second for him to answer before turning to the orb. "How were we deceived."

Elias allowed himself a little smile as his Skeletal warriors successfully advanced and surrounded Aboleth, slowly driving the demonlord into a corner alongside the Spartan and Kitty. Aboleth raged and sputtered, admitting his defeat through his threats of reanimation. Elias doubted the Demon's soul could possibly be tied to an entire planet. The difference in power and significance was too great for such a thing to be possible.

Not that any of it mattered though. Elias felt an immense buildup of magical energy far above. An immense lance of pure destructive energies arced down from orbit, crashing deep into the crust of Hades and likely even penetrating all the way to the planet's core. If that was the weapon Sam'Anar had talked about, Elias questioned why he needed their help at all. Unless he intended to kill the three warriors fighting Aboleth and disguise it as a heroic death. Bright cracks began crisscrossing across the surface of the planet.

It turned out Elias was right, a purple orb flashed into existence and requested that Elias, Kitty, and the Spartan grab hold of it. In the moments of panic, Elias dropped his sword and charged headlong for the Orb. He wasn't close enough. Elias wished he still held the sword in his hand as he channelled a new concept. Magic flowed through Elias' body as he built up the potential energy within his body. It instantly converted into kinetic. Elias suddenly launched through the air and grabbed hold of the orb with his free hand. Everything went black.

When Elias came-to. The spartan was lying on the ground, seemingly unconscious with kitty shaking his shoulders. Elias groaned, grateful for the Npyherian body armor protecting most of his body.

"Sam'Anar betrayed us," Elias commented slowly. He turned to the orb, "how do we get back at him?"

"Sam'anar betrayed us all." There was a hint of sadness in the orb's voice. "Excuse me, I shall use a form you might be more comfortable with." Slowly but surely the orb grew and became the shape of a man, dimming in light until finally he took the form of an ordinary suited man who you might see wandering Earth. Once done, his now-existing eyes scanned those around him.

"I am Seh'makou, your people call me a Celestial much like Sam'anar. It is with regret however that I... am ashamed to call him one of us..." His head turned with a lowered gaze. "He approached the council suggesting his plan to have mortals distract Aboleth while he destroyed the planet when his guard was down." A sigh escaped his lips. "They denied it, and he slaughtered them..."

"His own mother, friends... My father..." His eyes clenched shut for a few moments, before opening them to look at the group. "He is not, however, corrupt. Rather his morals are in imbalance. Therefore the code forbids me from facing him. You, however," A hand gestured to the three of them. "You can set this right."

"My expertise, if you will, is that of agreements and deals. I offer you this deal with the heaviest of hearts. If I take you to him and you face him, weaken him enough as you did Aboleth, I can ensure he is imprisoned in a manner he will not be able to escape." The look on his face was now grave, the kind of look where one had resorted to his last option. "I promise you, for the sake of whatever remains of your friend in there," His finger pointed to the figure of Sam'anar. "He will not die today. He deserves justice in prison."

"If we have a deal," Sek'makou now waved his fingers, dispersing the 'screens' and replacing them with a thin portal. "Then there is your chance."

On the other side Sam'anar turned his head slightly, detecting the disturbance of a portal behind him. Quickly his arm signaled for all the serving creatures to leave, whilst his other hand swiped across the screen.

Secondary Target: Earth. 


For any and all who entered, they would now be within the control chamber of the creation, able to see the screens showing images of Earth and of the celestial power within the machine's core. All evidence was plain to see, and by the view window so was the culprit.

"How are you... here..." Sam'anar spoke with confusion and a tinge of anger.

Sebastian's eyes remained locked on the screen that displayed the planet falling apart, unblinking and unmoving. It was only Kitty's reassuring voice that pulled him out of the flashback and allowed him to regain his senses. He blinked and then looked down at her and gave her a nod.

His attention was then directed to the orb, that had then manifested itself as a man. He listened intently, silently as it said what it had to say. What the Celestial said made sense in relation to what just happened. However this would have been the third time a Celestial had gone rogue, and Sebastian was already having trust issues with this one. On the other hand, Sam'anar had control over a planet-busting superweapon. There was no telling which one he'd target next, and if he ever found his way into GSU territory...

No, he stood by and watched two worlds die already, he wouldn't let it happen again. Even if it meant facing another Celestial. He reloaded his weapons before looking to the Celestial that had now opened a portal.
"Very well, let's take him down" was all he said in response before entering the portal.

As soon as he had entered the new environment, Sebastian quickly brought his Assault Rifle to aim, scanning the area around him with it, taking note of the alien technology surrounding him. He stopped when he saw the familiar images of Earth on the screens. His eyes widened in shock.
"No..." Earth? He was going to destroy Earth? Over his dead body.
Fury built up in his chest quickly, his heart thumping an an extra dose of adrenaline releasing into his bloodstream.
