So Wanted to run this past you guys and see if it was something that I could use or not.  So far I have been using a shotgun with rounds that could be explained in other ways, but this is what I am really after.  Not sure if you'll let me use it though.

So I am picturing a unique weapon inscribed with runes along the entire interior of the barrel.  The runes are elemental in origin and are fire to be precise.  With standard ammo they produce ammo with incendiary type properties.  The other ammo is something that ties in with this area....

Ammo:

The ammo I am picturing is of shell casings engraved with other elemental runes.  Usable once only, but when used in conjunction of the other rune they change the effect.  For instance an earth engraved round plus the fire would be an explosive round.  Air runes would in turn produce a lightning bolt effect or chain lighting.... 

So looking forward to what you guys have to say.  And as always I'll work it into my story actually knowing what the hell I have if you guys allow it.

Development Thread: First appears briefly in the Ambushed! thread doesn't show any use though.  It is only used as an instrument to apply a but stroke.  First use is in Black Fist Mercenary in the open rp.  Will be adding more and more of a story regarding its use.

Ammo: What does it fire? Magical in this case see above?
Rarity: Unique (Only one), Rare


Strengths
Would does this weapon excel in? The weapon is going to allow for all kinds of interesting combinations of effects: fire and earth, fire and water, fire and air, fire and fire and so on.


Weaknesses
What does this weapon lack in? It lacks ammo and the ability to make more.  It is going to take an enourmous amount of time to find anybody that knows anything about the weapon let alone the ammo.

First of all, you need to post your weapon app as it's own thread, not as a response to this.

Secondly, you can delete the original text under each section (e.g. What does this weapon lack in?)

Of course, you only need to do a weapon app if it's actually going to be used as a weapon, especially since the weapon will be locked after approval to prevent any edits in the future.
