Kitty raised an eyebrow, glancing from Elias to the bottle. Kitty could almost never resist a challenge, and this was most certainly tempting. She pouted slightly when he scooted away from her, but grinned slightly when she saw his clasped hands. "You're on." Kitty smirked, but she was a tad apprehensive, she knew that the bottle of moonshine would probably get her drunk too. But still, Kitty wouldn't back down. Blowing him a cheeky kiss she uncorked the bottle, snagging it then lifting it to her lips. She began downing it, without taking a break for air just to prove how competitive she was. 

When she slammed the bottle back down again she was definitely drunk, her hands shook slightly and her eyes were a bit glazed and unfocused, she let out a hiccup then giggled. Giving Elias a smirk, scooting closer and leaning forward so that their faces were inches from each other, her hot hands resting on his. "Pay up that thing then Wizard."

Elias watched silently as Kitty downed the entire bottle, his expression remained in a calm smile as he observed Kitty's reaction to the immense amount of alcohol now flowing through her body. She finished the thing in record time, slamming the bottle to the table with shaking hands and a drunken blush, letting out a girly giggle as she asked Elias to bring his A-game.

"You didn't tell me what you wanted," Elias complained with a smile as he swiftly closed the gap between himself and Kitty. He used one hand to gently tilt Kitty's. He then wrapped his hand around the back of Kitty's neck as he pulled her in for his own controlled, yet intensely passionate kiss. At the same time, Elias placed his other hand at Kitty's sock covered knee and slowly trailed up the inside of her thigh. His hand briefly brushed over Kitty's crotch as it trailed under Kitty's oversized sweater and across her hot and well toned abs before wrapping around to her lower back, pulling Kitty closer into Elias' body.

Kitty easily melted into the kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck to pull him as close to her as she could. She shivered when she felt Elias's hands against the skin of her stomach, her skin was nearly burning so his hands felt like ice. The mixture of alcohol and Elias's kiss made her head spin, her grip on him tightening so she wouldn't just float away. Eventually Kitty couldn't take it anymore and pulled away for air, wriggling out of his grip and pulling a coin purse out from under her sweater. She threw some coins down on the table and grabbed Elias's hand, pulling him up out of the booth and walking out of the pub with him in tow. "Come on." 

The cold night air made Kitty shiver and brought her out of her haze for a moment, but with a glance back at Elias the clarity was gone. She started pulling him in the direction of the woods, hoping Elias didn't think she was luring him out there to murder him or something, she had a cabin in the woods. They walked for a couple minutes, although Kitty was practically power walking while dragging Elias behind her. The cabin came into view and Kitty walked up to the door, pulling a key out of her pocket. But she was drunk so her vision swirled slightly, fumbling while trying to put the key into the lock. Eventually she got it in and threw the door open, then turned and grabbed Elias by the shirt collar, furiously kissing him as she pulled him inside.

Somewhat to Elias' disappointment and surprise, Kitty wriggled out of his arms and pulled him out of their booth. He nearly toppled face first into the floor with her sudden movement and superhuman strength. The alcohol flooding through his brain prevented Elias from asking questions as Kitty practically sprinted out of town and into the woods. All the elements around him were a blur the two stumbled into a tiny cabin in the woods. The two stood for an awkward moment in the chilly night air as Kitty fumbled around with her keys before dragging Elias inside. The chilly night had pierced the cabin's walls.

"Aren't we moving a little fast," Elias questioned before clashing his mouth against Kitty's. He wrapped his arms around Kitty's waist and lifted her up, carrying her her further through the house. Their lips remained pressed together while Elias somehow managing to avoid the mess of discarded clothes and magical tomes strewn about, he fumbled with the door handle for a moment before shoving it open. Elias pulled his face away.

"Hmm," He mumbled, "it's still a little cold in here." The wizard wriggled out of kitty's arms and fumbled around for the fireplace, pushing a number of discarded outfits aside in order to clear the hearth and toss a few logs inside. With a snap of his fingers, the fireplace roared to life, instantly filling the room with heat and an orange glow. "That's better," Elias smiled as he walked back over to Kitty, his jacket and shirt joined the rest of the clothes strewn about. He returned to the bed and descended on Kitty, kissing her mouth and neck as he gently pried off her sweater.

[Fade to Black]

The next morning Kitty rolled over in bed, her cheek pressing against something warm and...moving? Kitty jerked upright, although she instantly regretted the action as her head spun and throbbed and a wave of nausea hit her like a truck. Once Kitty could think without pain she looked to her left, and her eyes widened at the sight. A sleeping shirtless Elias was laying next to her in bed, normally she would look at his chest for a bit longer, but her eyes snapped to her own body. Memories of the night before slowly came into focus inside her head. Her face invented a new shade of red. 

Kitty scrambled out of bed, nearly falling when her legs turned to jello, but somehow managed to stay upright. She threw on the first thing she could find on her messy floor, a t-shirt and a pair of pajama shorts. With one last glance at Elias she started to tiptoe out of the room, wincing and freezing whenever she stepped on a creaky board. When she got out of the room she went straight for the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet before standing up and brushing her teeth like a robot. When she rinsed out her mouth and straightened again, she stared at herself in the mirror. There were no signs on her face from the night before, any hickeys or other marks would have since healed. "Oh my god..." She said softly, running a hand through her hair as she paced across her bathroom floor. 

She stayed in that bathroom going out of her mind for at least an hour, it took her raiding her emergency blood supply in the bathroom for her to finally calm down, then brushing her teeth again. Walking out of the bathroom she took in a deep breath, holding it for a few seconds, then exhaling before walking into the kitchen. Perhaps if she acted normal, everything would be okay. Foolish thinking like that was usually above Kitty, but.... Kitty went about making a cup of coffee, searching through the cabinets for aspirin. When she found it she put it on a paper towel on the counter, starting to relax as the coffee brewed. Kitty rolled her shoulders as she looked towards the stove, pancakes, eggs and sausage is easy to make. Right? 

The smoke alarm didn't agree.

Elias jolted awake to an unfamiliar bed and an avalanche of shrill beeps from a fire alarm somewhere. In his surprise, Elias  somehow rolled off the side of the bed with a deafening thud. He struggled free from the tangles of sheets that had fallen to the floor with him and tried to place them back on the bed properly, though in his wobbly and hungover state, he couldn't manage much more than a crooked wrinkle. After pulling back on his t-shirt from a pile of other clothes on the floor and stumbled outside to find the source of the noise, granting him a full view of Kitty attempting to cook breakfast. Elias' face practically flushed a neon red as every single detail of the night before flooded through his head. He hit the floor again.

After a few moments had passed, Elias stood up again. With a wave of his hand and a small flow of magical energy, wind blew the smoke away from the detector. Elias stared at the floor as he walked towards the kitchen.

"You're doing it wrong," Elias muttered as he approached the counter, "it kinda goes like this." Without bothering to listen for any protest from Kitty, if he could hear one at all, Elias cleared off the counter, got out a few fresh bowls, pans, and other cooking utensils and reorganized a number of ingredients: Eggs, milk, salt, pepper, sugar, and butter.

In a bigger bowl, Elias whisked together some pancake batter lit a flame under one of the two pans. After spreading butter on the bottom, he poured three even circles of batter in. He passed the time in between flipping by mixing the eggs and pouring the second pan. The whole process took about ten minutes before two steaming platefuls of eggs and pancakes sat on the counter.

"Sooooo," Elias whispered, trying to find his voice, "did you enjoy it?"

Not a word came out of Kitty when he moved her aside so he could fix breakfast, Kitty was never good at cooking. She watched him with scarlet cheeks, the temperature in the room was increasing, for a few seconds Kitty didn't notice it until she saw Elias start to sweat a little, taking in a deep breath so she could try and calm down. Slowly the temperature went down to normal, and Kitty turned away from Elias and ran a hand through her hair. She didn't regret the night before, what she did regret was the timing. Everything was happening so quickly, and Kitty wasn't sure what to make of the situation or her budding feelings. 

Grabbing a mug she went over to the coffee machine, that she could competently do, pouring some into the mug and picking up the paper towel with the aspirin on it and holding the aspirin out to Elias when he put breakfast on the counter. She was thankful that the mug was on the counter, she would have dropped it when Elias spoke. Her cheeks turned a dark scarlet again and she let out a choking noise, slowly turning to put the aspirin on the table and looked at her feet. For some reason she couldn't look him in the eye, but slowly she nodded.

Kitty slowly nodded and handed Elias an aspirin and a mug of coffee as he sat down and began to slowly take a bite of eggs.

"I see," Elias replied, making an effort to avoid eye contact. His body tingled in kitty's direction and his heart started beating harder. The night before was the very reason Elias didn't drink. Mistakes were far too easy to make and he certainly hadn't meant to do it on his and Kitty's first date. Elias began shoveling food into his mouth faster. "Um," Elias started once he finished most of his eggs, "W-would it make you feel better if," He began stumbling over his words, "if we were, ya know, in a relationship?"

Kitty took a seat beside him at the kitchen table, biting her lower lip as she looked down at her food and then looked up at Elias. Now more than ever she looked just like a regular eighteen year old girl, not 1000+ year old vampire that had probably killed more people than Elias had ever met. Slowly her hand moved under the table, her warm fingertips just brushing his free hand that wasn't shoveling eggs in his mouth, and stayed there. "It would help but..." She finally met his eyes, her blue eyes carefully guarded as she looked at him. "I just want to know that you don't regret what happened. Because I...Because I don't." And then her eyes left his and she started shoveling food into her mouth too, her face beginning to burn as her own words kept echoing in her head.

Elias tried to meet Kitty's eyes, but quickly shifted his focus to anything else in the room. The piles of books and clothes, his food, anything that wasn't Kitty. She touched his hand, snapping Elias' focus back on her.

"I'd only regret it if you did too," Elias replied with a faint smile, shifting his free hand to lightly grip Kitty's own. He finished off his eggs and started on the pancakes, drowning them in syrup and wolfing them down in silence. He finished off the quick meal with aspirin and coffee.

Elias' eyes fell on an open book that appeared to be about supplementary wind magic, his eyes immediately brightened. "Yo I just came up with an awesome enchantment," He said excitedly. The wizard nearly tripped over a pair of jeans as he snatched the book off the floor and dropped it on the table, flipping to a page that highlighted a speed supplementation spell. "What if I enchanted a sword with wind to give me a speed boost," Elias' voice bubbled with joy, "it could help me keep up with your speed." He looked towards Kitty for approval.

Kitty tilted her head to the side, her lips pursed as she thought about it. "It's an interesting idea. But I know a better speed spell than that one." Reluctantly she let go of Elias's hand, leaving the kitchen but returning a few moments later with a book in her hands. She put it down on the kitchen table, sitting down on the table beside the book. She flipped through a couple pages before stopping, but the spell written in the book wasn't in English. "Oh! Right you probably only read English." 

Kitty hopped off the table, walking over to a drawer and pulling it open so she could rummage inside. She brought out a bluish stone, walking back over to Elias with a smile. "Amazonite. Helps with communication." Kitty held the stone to her lips for a moment, the stone slowly began to emit a light blue glow that passed on to Kitty's lips. Putting the stone down she placed her hand under Elias's chin, tilting it up and pressing her lips to Elias's gently. She probably kept the kiss up longer than she needed too, but she liked kissing Elias. But when she did pull away Elias would be able to understand the words written on the pages of the tome. 

She gave Elias a smile, hopping up on the table again and kicking her legs back and forth while looking down at the book. "You should be able to understand other languages now and speak them fluently, I would have just implanted them in your brain with magic but mind spells are always risky and tricky." There was a slight smirk on her face now, looking up at Elias. "But I bet you prefer my method."

Something told Elias that it wasn't really necessary for Kitty to create a spell from the stone and kiss him to pass it on, but he went with it. Elias blushed slightly as Kitty pressed her lips against his own. They were much warmer and softer than the night before, as if it were fueled by choice rather than passion. Elias felt like he made the kiss linger a little longer than it needed to before he shifted his focus down to the ancient book Kitty had shown him.

Before Kitty had given Elias the spell, the ancient tome looked like a bunch of gibberish. The markings themselves hadn't changed at all, but their meaning was clear as day. It didn't feel exactly like reading in english. Rather, the words' intent was delivered right to his brain. In a way, he found that spell more fascinating than the ancient and powerful light magic described on the pages. They described utilizing a physical manifestation of light in an instinctive way in order to conjure attacks and barriers. The underlying logic to the spell was simple, but the execution so artful and complex.

"Or," Elias responded, "I could use wind magic to boost my speed and this light stuff for attacks." Elias turned the thoughts over in his head until he figured out exactly how the spells would work. His eyes lit up even brighter than before. "I love you kitty, you're a genius," Elias said as he reached up and kissed her on the cheek and practically ran to the door "I've got to do this spell right now, I'll be back tomorrow!" With that, he slipped on his shoes and ran straight back towards the castle.

Kitty blinked as Elias's words washed over to her, her whole face turned a dark scarlet color and a stupid grin stretched across her face. Getting up she started to clean everything, humming quietly under her breath as the grin stayed on her face. Once she was done cleaning up she went to her room, snagging a blood bag from the bathroom, then settling on her bed. She grabbed one of the magic tomes and started sipping from the blood bag, studying the spells. She stayed like that for most of the day, before falling asleep with a book on her face, but she only slept for a couple hours. 

She yawned as she roamed her house, she had just gotten dressed in a black croptop and baggy grey sweatpants after taking a shower, her damp hair thrown up in a messy bun. Elias said he was going to come back here tomorrow, so Kitty didn't bother heading for the tower. Instead she went into kitchen, brewing herself a cup of black coffee before mixing some moonshine and blood in. There wasn't enough in there to get her drunk, but maybe a little buzzed. Moving into the living room she plopped down on the couch, thumbing through some random magazine and sipping her breakfast beverage of choice while waiting for Elias to show up.

Elias spent the better half of the day heavily enchanting his sword. Hefty amounts of wind magic to give him extra speed, agility, and even limited amounts of flight. He followed up with the light enchantments which would sheathe the blade in an invisible layer of light, making it nearly indestructible and capable of cutting most materials as well as resisting cuts from more powerful energies such as plasma. The enchantment also gave him the ability to conjure replicas made of pure light Elias could control with his will, though those would be more easily destructible and blocked. Somehow, reason entered his mind when Elias finished and he promptly fell asleep for twelve hours. 

Elias clipped his sheathed sword in a makeshift sling after slipping into a black tee and baggy grey sweatpants. He walked outside to his room's balcony, lowered the wind barrier, and jumped off the side. Using the magic of his newly enchanted sword to sloppily glide all the way down to Kitty's cabin.

Landings, as it turns out, are much harder than they look. Elias came crashing into the ground face first with sword in hand. The wizard quickly checked his face for any broken bits or blood. Satisfied to find none, he walked up to the cabin and slammed open the door. With a quick burst of magic, courtesy of the sword, Elias jumped clear across the room and almost face first into the couch.

"I finished the sword," Elias said, grinning.

"You've got dirt all over your face." Was all Kitty remarked, continuing to sip from her coffee. But when she turned to him she returned to his grin, getting up off the couch and going into a kitchen. When she returned she had a damp rag in her hand, settling beside Elias on the couch and tilting his head up and rubbing the dirt off with the rag. "Please no flying in my house, if you break something I will kill you." She teasingly threatened, giving him a slight smirk. 

Relaxing back into the couch, she scooted a bit closer to him until their shoulders brushed, grabbing her spiked coffee and starting to drink again. "You want to go test that sword out for real now? Or do you want some donuts? I have some in the kitchen along with some coffee."  Kitty yawned, stretching her arms above her head briefly before putting her empty mug on the table beside her, turning to face Elias fully with slightly droopy sleepy eyes.

"Oh, sorry," Elias replied as kitty rubbed the dirt off his face. An unnecessary gesture, but he decided not to do anything about it. Though Elias did get a strange tingling feeling wherever Kitty touched his face. He waited for Kitty to settle down next to him with a cup of coffee that smelled strangely like alcohol. He brushed that thought from his mind.

"Yeah, I'd rather use the sword right now," Elias said, holding it's sheathed form in the air, "I think it's pretty awesome." He stood up and walked towards the door. He picked up a longsword from the umbrella rack next to the door and tossed it towards Kitty. "I'll be waiting for you outside."

Kitty easily caught the longsword, following after Elias with a yawn. There was a small backyard that was free of trees with a little fence that had definitely seen better days, then it was just forest. There was a huge tree just a few feet from the fence, but there was an even bigger one next to it. She stopped when she was standing beside Elias, giving his shoulder a nudge. "Before we fight show me what that sword can do, chop down that big ass tree." Kitty waved her hand lazily in the direction of the tree, then looked to Elias with a smile. "Impress me Elias."

Elias paused for a moment, puzzled at Kitty's request. He turned towards the tree and drew his sword. The blade shimmered with invisible light as Elias jumped over the fence and chopped the tree with a single stroke. 

"That went better than I expected," Elias commented, staring at the shiny steel. He gave it a few more test swings. "I hope you're ready." With a burst of wind magic, Elias jumped clear over the fence, slightly wobbling on his landing several feet from Kitty. Upon regaining his balance, Elias boosted forward at blinding speed, swiftly bringing his sword in a stab aimed for Kitty's belly. He would then follow up with a pair of lightning fast slashes along each of her arms.

Kitty reacted quickly, bringing her sword up to block Elias's stab. She definitely looked awake now, but her face was a calm mask as she blocked the slashes to her arms too, but not fast enough, there were shallow scratches from the sword on her arms, but they healed quickly. Bringing her own sword forward, she slashed at Elias's side, stabbed at his shoulder, then spun around with a slice towards Elias's chest. Kitty didn't say a word as she moved, completely focused on the task in front of her.

Kitty was surprisingly silent as she deftly blocked each of Elias' attacks. No smiles or banter, just speed. Which meant she either wasn't in the mood, or had been surprised with Elias' sudden improvement in speed. He had even managed to land a few light scratches, which quickly healed afterwards. Kitty swiftly counterattacked with a flurry of blows. Elias managed to deflect the first two and raised his sword for a solid block. He let out a surprised gasp as the force of the blow sent him flying several feet away. 

"Well at least I know the first enchantment works," Elias said excitedly, he checked the blade for any chips or scratches. "You ready to test the next one?" The wizard did a few slashes in the air and a dozen swords of light flashed in the air around him. They floated in a lazy orbit behind Elias' head as he waited for Kitty's response.

Kitty nodded, her grip tightening on the handle of her sword. Kitty's lips twitched upward slightly, finding Elias's excitement cute as she stood waiting for the swords to fly in her direction. She made a 'bring it' motion with her hand, her muscles taunt as she got into stance and waited. The second those swords left their orbit around Elias's head, she would move.

Elias could swear he saw a faint smile somewhere under Kitty's mask of concentration. He waited for Kitty to ready herself before attacking. He quickly calculated how to most efficiently use twelve floating swords.

The wizard didn't have to move an inch as his light swords went flying. The first three drove for a straight stab to Kitty's stomach. Two followed, arcing around to pierce her sides simultaneously. Once those two landed, Elias brought three more swords slashing down on Kitty's head and each shoulder. Elias decided to shake it up for his fourth and final attack. He he willed two of the four remaining swords to fly over and aim towards Kitty's back, the two others at each side, and he used wind magic to boost forward and aim another feint past Kitty's throat.

Now originally Kitty was going to move, but even she saw that she wouldn't be able to evade and block all of these fast enough without cheating a little by morphing her skin into lava. So instead, she just let them hit her. If she was actually trying really hard Kitty probably could have blocked some of them, but Kitty was tired, a little buzz, and curious to see the effect of the swords on a living body. Kitty stumbled back slightly when the first three swords impacted with her stomach, blood oozed out of her mouth as she coughed. 

Kitty didn't completely give in though, her hands shot out, dropping her own sword, grabbing the lightswords that were aiming for her sides by the blades. It took strength to hold them back, they were keen on meeting their target, Kitty had to keep a firm and slightly painful bloody grip on them to keep them from puncturing her sides. Kitty had to move back a step to avoid the two swords that were flying towards her head, letting out a hiss when the two other ones sliced at her shoulders. Taking another quick step back Kitty let go of the swords that were trying to puncture her sides, instead they smacked right into each other. 

The last of the swords slammed into Kitty's back and she fell forward, spitting out blood as she dodged the slice towards her throat. "Effective. Good job Elias." She managed to spit this out, along with a multitude of blood as she tried to reach behind her to pull the swords out of her back. "Should be useful in a fight with more than one person, although if it takes a lot of energy to keep conjuring then perhaps the light magic should be used as a trump card or a big move instead of a regular move."

The swords worked better than Elias could ever have expected. In fact, they appeared to be almost too effective. He made sure none of the swords would kill Kitty. He dropped the sword after his final stab and caught Kitty as she fell forward. Her compliment was lost on him as he watched blood flow from the quickly closing wounds on her back.

"Oh god are you alright," Elias questioned, nervously checking Kitty's body for any other wounds. He silently wished he didn't need a staff to perform healing magic as his hands brushed over the wounds and old scars. "Why would you take those hits, you could've gotten really hurt."

Kitty's skin tingled when Elias touched it and her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment as he fussed over her. "Elias. Elias I'm fine calm down, I've had worse scrapes than this." She made a hand motion to her body, pulling out any swords that were still stuck in her flesh. Within minutes all her wounds had healed and she gently moved Elias's hands off of her, placing her hands on his face and forcing him to look at her. "See? I'm fine." She gave him a cheeky grin, "You shouldn't freak out so much Elias, I heal remember?" She flicked his forehead, chuckling as she got up. "I like the sword, you did a good job. Do you want to test it out some more or would you like to go inside?"
