Appearance
Starborn can be shaped into the appearance of almost any living being. Some are animals like owls, some are planets or trees, whereas a special few can be born as Elves, Dragons, or Giants.
Culture
Starborn are rare and the chances of two ever meeting are near impossible. Therefore they hold no shared culture. All they can share is their Celestial heritage.
History
When an uncorrupted Celestial dies it may spark a miraculous and rare event called Starbirth. The soul and energy of the celestial is reborn into a 'mortal' form. It is more common for these forms to be trees or animals who act as guides for the pilgrims and heroes of the world, although in extremely rare and exceptional cases the Starborn may be a sentient being such as a Dragon, Elf, Giant, or any Celestial-created species. These sentient Starborn are said to be caused by the will of the Titans bestowing a prophecy upon the individual. Very few have existed in history, but all have lived up to greatness providing they avoided the temptation of corruption. Because of this they usually appear in times of dire need.
