Notable Equipment
The Veil-Classes weaponry consists of Fey Crystals which fire magical energy through a focusing cannon to deal continuous damage to a target. These particular cannons are not as powerful as the Archangel-Classes but still come in useful in a fight. Also to protect itself from bombers and fighters a series of small turrets line the flat edges, capable of firing quick bursts of electrical energy in the form of contained projectiles to damage and overload any small starfighters it hits.
As for defenses the hull is made of Ironwood which is heavily enchanted to be slightly stronger than UNSC ship metals. Layered on top is a gold cover, an Angelic convention provided by Jaya to give it slight resistance to Demonic energy and attacks. Runes also lay on the hull to power shields, which means nothing on the ship is powered by electricity.
Description
The Veil-Class is designed by the Fey as part of their agreement to provide ships for the Alliance. It's particular purpose is to move quickly and efficiently towards the enemy utilizing it's thin front-appearance to make itself a hard target to hit. Tactically they attempt to shoot into the fray and cut into enemy ships with their fey crystals, covering its own flanks from bombers and fighters with the turrets.
It's thin structure however makes it's hull not as strong as other ships, although it's runic shields still manage to hold up to a decent defensive standard. Even with it's turrets the sides are exposed if other major ships manage to flank it.
