Nypherian XRS 2198 Sniper Rifle: A directed plasma rifle similar in concept to the Ravager’s main turret, but on a much smaller scale. Using railgun tech, the XRS 2198 fires a magnetically compressed bolt of plasma at a high velocity, allowing it to travel long distances with minimal energy loss.

Spoiler:

Nypherian XH 75G Automatic Pistol: A common and dependable sidearm for Warrant Officers. This weapon has an option to switch between fully automatic mode: firing dozens of smaller projectiles over a large spread at a high rate of fire, or semi-automatic mode: firing larger, more powerful, and more accurate projectiles with each trigger pull.

Nypherian BH 21 Combat Jumpsuit: A suit of armor designed by the Nypherians for use by their alien officers. It’s material is specially designed to dissipate heat, making it excellent for surviving energy based attacks. THe nature of the material also makes it a good armor against ballistics, though it is not nearly as effective as dedicated anti-ballistic armor.

Eye cybernetics: Zanya was crippled for several months to an incident that cost Zanya her eyes and ability to use magic. After she entered Officer School, Zanya was given eye implants to allow her to see, she later upgraded them so that she has incredible eyesight and programs her weapons with a sensor that assists with her aim (kinda like a targeting reticle that shows where the barrel is pointing). The eyes are coded into the Nypherian network so she can easily receive information.

Powers

Zanya is a naturally talented marksman and skilled at parkour. Her cybernetic eyes and arms give her an advantage in aiming so she almost never misses a shot.


History

Zanya grew up as a normal Sigren. Playing with magic, learning, and the like. Once upon a time, it was her dream to join up with E'li's legendary Star Sabres. That dream was quickly squashed. In her early 70s while she was studying the finer points of battalion combat, Zanya’s ship was attacked by an unusually large fleet of Seraphim pirates. The young Sigren found herself defenseless in the ensuing battle. She found herself cornered by multiple Seraphim who tried to kill her. She managed to channel raw magic and defend herself, but not before the residual arc energy rendered her blind and severed her connection to the way and the Seigren’s power. The Seraphim respected her power and dropped her off on an abandoned planet near Nypherian space.

Several days afterward, a void citizen freighter on it’s way to Vermire station. Knowing that her family would never take her back since she was no longer connected to the way and was blind, she begged the ship’s crew to take her somewhere she could start over agian. The crew agreed and dropped her off at Citizen processing. Zanya promised she would repay that favor any way she could.

After becoming a full void citizen, Zanya enlisted for officer school. The Nypherians were curious as to what her performance on the battlefield would be like and accepted her, giving Zanya cybernetic eyes in order to make up for her disability. Now as thankful as ever, Zanya threw her entire being into training and pushed her new cybernetic eyes to the limit. Changing their settings to enable her to see farther and linking her guns to them to allow her to fire even more accurately than her natural ability as a marksman allowed. She found a special talent in quickly navigating a battlefield and sniping accurately from unusual distances and positions. Before being deployed as an officer, Zanya was positioned in the 5th frigate fleet. During the battle of Vermire, she saved her frigate from a reactor meltdown by loading a rifle with a cryo round and fired a perfect shot into the coolant chamber, restarting the reactor’s cooling routines. Her exemplary action earned her the rank of warrant officer in the Nypherian army.
