Medium amounts of technology, Palaven is now nothing more than airfields, shipyards and military bases as it functions as the military heart of the Turians.

Originally the homeworld of the Turians, much of Palaven's history is nothing more than conflict after conflict as the race of soldiers that once called it home battled each other and the Krogan in bloody wars that utterly destroyed the few large cities that could be found on the planet. Now, the planet is home only to those serving in the military and has become the heart of the military itself. 

Palaven is now nothing more than a vast expanse of dark rock. Many military bases, training centres, shipyards and airfields can be found all across the planet but after the destruction of Menae, Palaven's largest civilian city, the planet has been all but abandoned by the general population.
