Hatchet Empty
Hatchet Empty#1PostSubject: Hatchet   Hatchet EmptySat Sep 23, 2017 5:48 am

Name: Jack M. Hatchet
Species: Mutant
Age: 29
Faction: N/A
Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Appearance:

-------------------

Strengths

Hand-to-Hand Combat- The constant initiative to always survive has earned him the right to be labeled as exceptional in this field.

Armed Combat- He knows only the common knowledge about guns, and that they make abrupt noises. Thus, he is not familiar with using any kind of fire-arm, nor does he feel the need to be.

Melee Combat- No specific technique, other than constant improvisation, is used by Hatchet. He's essentially in a league of his own when it comes to this type of combat. His hands are his weapons. He constructs them into ivory claws of slaughter. A slice here, a dice there, everywhere a slicey-dice.

General Weaknesses
Magical Combat- He is purely a product of science, therefore his being is naturally ineffective in this field.

-------------------

Equipment

His only belongings in this universe are the clothes on his back and the shoes on his feet.

Powers

Both Forms:

Not Even a Workout: Hatchet's body has been enhanced, and constructed with the most efficient biological properties to succeed in combat. His dexterity allows him to attack, or counter-attack, from normally impossible angles. Prominent speed and agility provide him with an effortless utilization of gymnastics to gracefully dodge attacks, and advance with consecutive attacks of his own. He can leap to great heights and sprint many times faster than the average man. Naturally acquired endurance and innately superior strength give Hatchet the capability to tolerate the bodily stress all these activities produce.

Primary Form Only:

  • Target Operator:  A set of highly flexible and erratic (colorful too) eyeball lenses grants Hatchet the ability to fundamentally magnify any target within his visual radius; as if he’s spying through the scope of a rifle. Whether the target be at a distance or standing right next to him, all aspects are calculated.

  • Brushes of a Red Rainbow: His touch cripples the skin. Those who personally know Hatchet harbor a standing fear of his delicate white hands. These hands compose themselves into simple weapons of mass destruction.

Lv. 1 Hatchet's fingernails extract, and grow into 5inch. long black pikes at will.

Lv. 2 The substance of his finger nails envelops his skin up to a mid-way point on his fore-arms; at this point, they act as clawed gauntlets. Infested with the alien mineral, this enables the bone to be exponentially thicker and stronger. It requires a few seconds to fully compose. (Note: The gauntlets are not indestructible. Too many large impacts can shatter them.)

    • Cortex- Upon the unwilled touch of a foreign object to Hatchet's skin, a triggered response from his body will counter the object through the manifestation of the alien gene within him; the black mineral will shield his skin at the very exact spot where the object touches. Whether the initiation is to pierce his skin with a small needle, or the accidental bump of a stranger, the cortex will meld with his skin, and act as a superior surface.

    • Jaws of Life- A vibrant red creeps from his lips , as the catalyst muzzles over his face like a crusty bandana. After the jaws take form, they crack open to reveal sharp, rigid teeth. During episodes of hunger, the alien mineral will flare up into a ghastly set of jaws which veils the lower half of his face and crawls down to encase the entirety of his neck. His jaws are incredibly effective at ripping, tearing, and wrenching any object of matter into bits and pieces for his body to consume.

    • Hit me baby, one more time- Due to a devilish deal with Mammon, Lord of Greed, he has acquired the ability of regeneration, which is exemplified through the slow restoration of all wounds or damages to his being. However, he is not yet perfectly immortal. Poor Hatchet can still live out his days, but if his wounds are traumatic and cause severe loss of blood, then his innate hunger will drive him to feed and regenerate faster to survive another day. (Note: The ability is governed by the severity of the wound. For example, it would take a day for an arm to fully regenerate. If he were ripped in half, then it would be significantly longer and he would basically be a zombie looking to feed to revitalize his alien gene.)

I, Myself, and the Monster Inside Me

When Hatchet’s being transitions into this form, this “monster” as he calls it, his existence is reforming into a virtually indestructible and very condensed body of muscles and mass. His measurements are fortified into a height of 9ft. and a proportional width of 5ft; each of his arms are elongated out 5ft from his torso. This potent condition causes him to weigh over seven-hundred pounds, as he becomes a hulking creature with the capacity to destroy cities.

  • In this form Hatchet can withstand multiple strains and attacks on his body. Whether he is smashed through a skyscraper, or clubbed with bullets from a railgun, this immalleable anatomy allows him to take it all in stride.

  • The entire makeup of his physical anatomy is compounded with an alien mineral, which governs his need to feed. He is inclined to consume, and the more he consumes the larger his body will grow. He has never had the tenacity to go beyond this current form, or realized any need to do so. However, there may come a time when Hatchet will push himself to greater limits.

  • Inside, he is a literal void, and he possesses the capability to consume anything he can latch his jaws to; anything and everything that enters his mouth cannot be returned to any reality. e.g. If a bitten off piece of metal is gulped down, then that specific piece has been removed from existence, and subsequently torn apart atom by atom within Hatchet's being.

  • Function over Fashion- Before he was born, Hatchet's genes were spliced with alien DNA to make a him a superior killer of certain supernatural creatures, and thus his appearance is presented to be fierce and strange. He transforms into a faceless humanoid whose only features are breathing and hearing organs on the side of its head, unyielding jaws, and a body surfaced with rigid, black skin. He possesses no eyes, because they are a valid weakness for any being. Heightened senses of hearing, smell, and touch (this includes a high sensory to the surrounding temperatures) allow Hatchet to "see" everything as effectively as he would while having eyes.

Note: This form is only enabled when Hatchet is knocked unconscious, or severely injured by an enemy. It is his body's survival tactic. Because this form enthralls Hatchet with an instinctual approach toward his circumstances, all apparent danger must be eliminated, before Hatchet will revert to his primary form; if said 'danger' is simply not present anymore, then the result will be the same and he will continue to rampage. If it can be helped, then he will try to escape the threat. Any friend or ally is fair game too, if they get in his way.

Weaknesses

Kinetic force (mainly an exchange of physical blows) from foes as strong as himself are the most effective tactic to defeat this monster. By pestering one spot on Hatchet’s body with a consecutively high amount of physical strikes, then that area will slowly erode until the attacks reach his core. At which point Hatchet is inclined to escape so that he may consume more victims to restore himself. Lightning and extremely high voltages of electricity can incapacitate him for a short period of time if he is directly hit.

History
In the more recent years past Hatchet has reveled in the conquest of his plans and had reached a higher standard in his own right. He guided mobs to destroy city blocks, shook hands with a Devil prince to tighten his grip on ever-lasting life, and went on a monstrous rampage to kill and destroy all who stood in his way. He even gained a lair constructed out of fine crystal quartz in an ocean bay and an android army of legionnaires to do his bidding. He suffered “heart-break” by a woman he held a great obsession for, and constant disappointment by his underlings. He harbored a relationship with a god of the Nether-realms, and made contracts with intergalactic militaries. He was a ruler from the shadows. He is a vicious architect whose goal has always been to build from the ground so that he may burn it all back down.

Hm. Well, naturally he can be overpowered by anything/anyone stronger than him. The two weaknesses I mentioned in there (kinetic force and lightning) can be applied to him in his primary form as well, not just his monster form. So, as far as physical those two would be it. Even though he's superhuman, he can still get beat down in a general sense. He still has to make an effort to defend himself and prevent himself from receiving injury. Given his enhancements, he'll just be better at doing that than an average person would.

So, for example, I don't know if you ever saw the most recent Hulk movie, but the one guy who turns into Abomination is used as a superhuman and he tries to fight the Hulk as this little guy who can run and jump fast, and use weapons more effectively. Hulk knocks him away with one hand and the guy's body is crushed. He's out for a week, but he heals and he's ready to go again. That'd be the same type of situation for Hatchet, if that makes sense. If he doesn't want to get crushed by the bigger, badder superhuman, then he has to defend himself and try to evade attacks like anyone else would.

But, yeah, lightning mainly has an effect on him because of his alien mineral being a part of his body make-up. So, he can shield against little stun-guns, but to have lighting, or another source of really high-voltage of electricity, shoot through him then he's gonna be hurtin'. Most solids can conduct electricity, though his mineral just happens to be reactive to it. His body atomizes the things he eats, so having a powerful electrical charge surge through the process can sort of muck up things up a bit and can cause his body to flare up i.e. the mineral would start spiking out of his body like mini stalagmites.
