The T-7 Doorbuster pulse pistol is a classic example of the versatility and simplicity of directed energy weapons.

Their relatively low cost for handgun class directed energy weapons comes from the proprietary modular coilgun barrel, inducing a magnetic field in the plasma rounds fired, allowing them to self magnetize into a fluid projectile that stays on target, first time, every time.
