Armored, Large, and Excel in Hot and Dry climates.

Instinctual, Aggressive, Vulnerable in Cocoon State, and in Cold or Wet Environments

They start off as small worm-like creatures that are a tan yellowish color. They are about the size of a small dog. They also have three rows of teeth that can close up as well as a fourth row in a circle along the edge of the mouth. After eating and growing enough they enter a cocoon stage where they are very vulnerable. The cocoon appears to be the same color as the worms but with hints of a red substance under it. If something dangerous gets to close to this he cocoon this substance will spill out of small holes on the cocoon. This substance causes an extreme burning feeling on anything living and organic. When the cocoon is done growing it will be about the size of a school bus. After which the adult will emerge. The adult is more armored with dark red legs and like the cocoon is about the size of a bus.

This species came from a desert, rocky, planet. They lived on their own for awhile feeding off of other insects and small wildlife, but then a group of colonists showed up discovering the creatures. Because there was bigger prey now on the planet the creatures eventually started eating more and more frequently causing a burst in their health this allowed them to grow bigger something else that didn't help that was a few of the younger worms boarding the fleeing colonist allowing them to spread.
