The history of Scelfor IV is long and sad. The planet started off much like Scelfor I. It had much life and had great potential to be a populated and magnificent planet. When the first humans came to the system. Once they had colonized Scelfor I they went from planet to planet doing the same thing. Finally, they came upon Scelfor IV last due to the largest population of Scelforians living there. These Scelforians were not very friendly and soon a war broke out between them. The humans had the far greater technology but they didn't have the numbers needed to wage a full war. The humans ended up just firing from their ships. But the Scelforians were wedged too deep into the caves and mountains so the war went on. The specifics of the war were lost in the battles but most estimate the battle lasted for two decades. Both sides were relentless and eventually as all the planets had suspected, the Scelforians got a blow that could have crippled the entire human siege. They had gotten ahold of one of the capital ships. The ship itself had already been stripped but the engines and the guns were still functional they just needed ammo or fuel. The Scelforians had scavenged plenty of that and soon they had it up and running. The ship itself was formidable. It was a 1,249-meter ship with over 6 Ion Cannons, 42 Gauss-Guns, and much more. The speed was awful but it still classified as one of the largest ships in the system to date. Once they had it up and running the humans were scared. They needed to take it down but the number of ships that would have been lost would be ridiculous. So they set up a trap in which the humans would start carpet bombing one of their major cities. When the large ship would come, the destroyers and battleships would surround it and bring it down. So they started by bombing the skyscrapers which quickly brought the ship along. Except 4 of the ships that were supposed to participate in the attack had maintenance issues and couldn't radio in to tell the other humans. The ambush went down in history as the largest naval defeat in human history. They had 59 ships participate in the ambush and only 7 of the ships came back. The others crashed down into the city killing even more. The humans only had 14 ships left to attack with and decided that it wasn't worth it since they had already colonized 7 others. So Rear Admiral Vosque one of the most hated men in the human alliance decided to decimate the planet and use it for minerals when it was decontaminated. The only ship that stayed behind was the infamous U.G.A Canary or a destroyer dropped around 3,000 nukes from orbit all around the planet. The large capital ship had been baited into following the rest of the fleet so the Canary could do its mission. Everyone on the planet was killed and the entire planet transformed from the lush rainforest to something representing a lava-landscape. It was known as the single largest loss of life ever seen with over 23 billion people perishing in the first hour, and over 58 billion killed in total. The Canary was then destroyed by the capital ship returning. Once, the capital ship saw the devastation they left the solar system and were never heard from again.  That then transitioned into the plague and Scelfor IV was lost in history. To add to the destruction around 1 century later the asteroid named NVI-2089 crashed into the planet creating earthquakes and volcanos. The planet has been uninhabited since, but there has never been such ore which is why it was targeted by Scelfor I for mining to fuel the new ships that were allotted to be made in the next month. So far the construction ships and the first base have gone up and the mining has started. In the future, there is planning for Project Trade Route, Project Patriot and finally and largest Project Sun Node. 

The planet itself has no oceans and no fauna. However, there are three main continents where the majority of the volcanoes and lava rivers rest. The old oceans are deprived of everything and are currently salt flats and mining hubs. The 'water' that is there are ammonia and chlorine leaving nothing but bacteria. The first landing site and where the first mining base rest is along the largest lava river known as River Vosque. The largest volcano is named Vaclerian and erupts every 30 years. The eruptions aren't particularly powerful and are very nutrient rich leaving behind more ore form the core of the planet. The base is 'Red One' and consists of over 300 mining bots, over 1000 collection bots, 4 large refineries, and 3 ports for the resource ships to launch and land from, and finally the gas refinieries are sold across the planet even though the main energy source is still the sun. Project Trade Route is almost done, and Project Patriot is being finished up. Finally, Project Sun Node is in the aking as a lot of the resources are being stored and blueprints made.
