| Two years after that dreadfull accident... Sylvia woke up one night seemingly oblivious to what has happened. She just woke up from a nightmare that recreated her last accident with flashes of her girlfriend... She hasnt seen her in years and missed her so much. She threw her blankets off of her and looked at her armand memories came flooding back into her mind. She had lost her arm years ago and lived as some sort of half robot monstrosity. That's what she told herself though, she was not half robot at all seeing how only one limb had to be replaced. She looked around and sighed, it all came back to her... She got out of bed and put her bounty hunter uniform on. A few weeks ago she joined a bounty hunter crew, shoddy and shady, not a place for the young maiden but it wasnt like she had much of a choice. She rose out of bed and slipped her bounty hunter uniform on wich looked like the Belgian police force with the kepi and everything. She went outside and wandered around the space station and looked at the bounty board when her eye fell on a familiar name. "Jessie Red, wanted dead or alive, 10.000 credits?" She read through the lost of crimes and hoped to Illinea that it included her eliminations during her time as an immortal. "Report to bounty hunter jamesey for further details on the mark." She went and quickly got herself a bit of a breakfast and packed it up so she could eat it during a travel and ran to hunter Jamesey to get the intel on Jessie Red. "Sylvia! Going after your girlfriend are you? The others are actually afraid of her. But perhaps that wedding ring of yours could get you a free shot, huh?" The words that man said... She would have just shot him then and there if she didnt desperately wanted the intel he got. She even needed to play along to get it from him. "Yes, yes... I just want to get this over with... Please just give me the intel on her and let me go. I have alot to do today..." The man chuckled and jammed a simple (simple in a sci fi setting) media stick in her gps. "My, my! Eager arent we? Hey, when you get this divorce over with, come see me. I'll help you through your though times..."With an annoyed grunt she turned around and wandered to her ship that still had the immortal symbol on it and was still the powerull rhino gunship that the immortals once rode into battle with such pride. This one was at wits end and was kept alive mostly through the maintenance of the bounty hunter's guild. Sylvia took good care of her gunship though and flew off, tracking down Jessie's last known location. She eventually found her way to a backwater medieval looking planet, something she wasnt used to from Jessie at least and investigated the area. Her investigation led her to a small cave and she constantly stepped in empty beer cans and tin cans. "Yup, that's Jessie's..." She held her pistol up as she walked in, not to keep Jessie at gunpoint but mostly for the flashlight attachment, she couldnt see shit... |

| The years had changed Jessie, but not for the better. She had became older, weaker, angrier and tired. Dark rings rested under her eyes, while her body lacked some much needed meat. The planet she had been residing on was a backwater planet offering nothing in the ways of simple commodities, except alcohol.
Finding work was difficult as she couldn't really show her face. So she had to resort to her old ways of stealing for coin, and when times got hard, hunting was a viable option. In fact she'd just been hunting and now was on her way back to her hide out.
Wandering up to her hide out, she had both her scythes strapped to her back, her revolver in one hand, and a bag filled with two rabbit like creatures she'd caught from hunting. However, upon reaching her hide out she was met with a sight that annoyed her greatly. A bounty hunter. That blue uniform was stained in her mind. She'd seen enough of them in the past few years, and she had killed a few of them. After all, there was a reason they where scarred of her.
Jessie had the advantage of surprise, standing behind the bounty hunter as they looked into her hide out. Kneeling down she placed the bag down and unsheathed her scythe. Upon standing up she clicked her gun into place, aiming it at the bounty hunter's head. The mechanical click would of easily ran throughout the cave, bouncing off the walls. Then, for some odd reason, she found herself just staring at the hunter, unable to open fire. It was something about the girl's body and hair, they reminded her of someone very close to her heart.
"I'd put your gun down, and then take a few steps forward..." Jessie said in a low growl, ordering the hunter on what to do. |

| She was getting more and more annoyed with every second. Being messy was one of Jessie's traits that bothered her greatly. After all, when they were together, Sylvia did most of the cleaning and laundry and such without as much of a question. But she also felt bad, that her love would have to live in a mess like this... But soon, she would have her back in her clean ship and have her live in something that resembled a home rather than a dirty cave. She never heard Jessie enter as she had her mind in another place. The flower thief to be exact, she wondered where that ship was and if Jessie still had it, perhaps in this cave. So she was eager to go deeper.
Threading through the darkness of the cave, she looked around but came to a dead stop when she heard a familiar click of a revolver that could be of no one else than her lover. She wanted to turn around and charge into her for an embrace but heard her growl and put her gun on the ground, sat on her knees and put her hands on her head. But she quickly pulled the scarf down from over her face to reveal it to Jessie. She had the flashlight pointed at her so that her face was well lit and waited for Jessie to come to her. She tried to turn around and looked around in the cave to find out where her girldfriend was.
"J-Jessie...? I-it's me.... y-Your wife... We're married... Remember...?" She spoke out loudly, hoping Jessie would recognize her voice. She had no means of defense anymore and had no interest in doing so either. If Jessie would snap and kill her she would gladly accept that fate. Despite completely surrendering and putting her life and safety in the hands of someone who is less than sound she had a relieved look on her face. Just hearing Jessie, even if she sounded less than pleased was more than worth the price of admission. |

| Jessie was trembling. As soon as that voice hit her ears, she nearly fell to her knees and began crying, she only didn't because she couldn't let her guard down. Not now. As soon as this woman spoke, hundreds of memories flooded back into her mind. Memories she tried so hard to forget, but couldn't, because after all, those were the only thing that kept her from snapping.
Her gun hand was shaking, and her rigger finger was shaky. Jessie should of shot the girl, she should of ended it right there and then. If anything she should of shot herself, get rid of the chase and problems. But she couldn't something always held her back, guilt, Jessie thought. If she had taken herself she would of died with an unbearable weight of guilt around her, something that was also holding her back now. Then, as the girl turned her head, Jessie opened fire.
Within moments a loud noise of metal bouncing off rock, echoed through the cave. The bullet landed on the ground with three bounces following. However, Sylvia would find herself unharmed, and if she was watching Jessie, she'd see her gun and scythe drop to the ground. Her head hung low and her stance looked weak, as if she was about to pass out right there. In the cold, harrowing, silence, Jessie's heavy breathing combined with soft sobs could be heard, softly echoing through the cave.
The next thing Jessie knew, she was down on her knees holding Sylvia from behind. Her arms wrapped themselves tightly around Sylvia's chest, all while she hid her head in her wife's hair, softly crying. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Jessie repeated quietly, just being able not to choke on her own tears. Her hands were still trembling out of fear. "I didn't want to leave, I didn't, I didn't want you to get hurt." She said quickly, in a feeble attempt to justify her actions, but it was just a waste of words, in her mind nothing could justify what she did. |

| Her face of confidence and joy of finding her love was broken quikly when a gunshot rang out. Maybe Jessie was too far away and didnt recognize her? Maybe she left because she didnt think she could hold back violence against her anymore? All kinds of thoughts of this sort flooded her mind after the first gunshot waiting for the second one that would go through her head. Maybe she couldnt aim anymore and she would shoot again. She was shaking and sobbing softly thinking that her girlfriend would kill her soon.
She took a deep breath and remained quiet, waiting for the second shot. But it never came, eventually she heard the sobbing from behind her and got off her knees and turned around only to have Jessie fly into her arms. She pulled Jessie's arms a little looser and wrapped her arms around her. "It's okay... We're together..." She smiled, usually it was Jessie that had to keep her from sobbing but now it was her turn to help her. She happily kissed her cheek and hugged her tightly. "Hurt...? From what? I got hurt anyway... I missed you so much." She kept her embraced for a while longer before letting go and taking her hand. "Come on... Let's go to the ship to catch up. But first..." She looked on her wrist and took a device off, threw it on the ground and shot it with Jessie's revolver. Before taking her jacket and hat on and throwing it on the ground nearby her pistol. Then she took Jessie's hand and walked back, waiting for her to follow. |

| With there embrace over, Jessie stood to the side, being rather silent as Sylvia got rid of her uniform and then destroyed her equipment. Her eyes were locked onto her new arm. The worst possible thoughts came into her mind when she looked at it, was it her fault? Did Sylvia do it to herself? Or was it the workings of someone else? All these thoughts flooded her mind, placing her in a dark hole, which she had continuously fallen back in this past few years.
When Sylvia had the chance to get a good look of Jessie, she'd see Jessie didn't look like the hardened fighter she was, before she left. Her pale skin seemed to be the colour of white powder now, her once short hair was now significantly longer and dirtier, even her eyes seemed to of loose that glow they once had. Her original leather armour, which she took so much pride in keeping fixed and clean, was now old and dirty, with rough patch work done on the arms and the legs, just to stop it from falling apart. Scars even littered her body, covering her hands, as well as having one on her left cheek. It looked like the last three years, Jessie had just been getting by with the bare minimum.
Eventually, Jessie came out of her trance and looked at Sylvia, with a look of embracement plastered to her face. "Heh... About the ship... I may or may not of ditched it back in Immortal territory before I left..." Jessie admitted rather sheepishly, running her hand through her hair nervously. "I hitchhiked on serval ships to get here... Hence why I never left..." |

| She took Jessie's hand with her biotic arm. It felt like flesh still and stil had a body temperature, it was just odd to see some external computing and lights as well as the name of the company that made it inked onto the flesh colored arm. At least it wasnt a robotic gauntlet mounted onto the poor thing. She noticed that Jessie stared at it and felt the need to explain it. "I lost my arm while you were gone... It was when i had to control a ship and you know im not that hot of a pilot. So i was shot down and and had to get to an escape pod, but it closed before i could enter. So i had to cut it off to survive or the hatch wouldnt have closed..." She said as she lead her love out of the cave. While she definetly didnt mean to, it almost sounded like she blamed Jessie for it.
Now she had a good look at her, she smiled. "You look like a mess... Remember when we met, and i saved you by giving you food and shelter? I'll get you on your feet again." She said before giving her a kiss on her lips. She led her to a rhino gunship easily over 100 meters large. She heard Jessie say that she left the flower thief in immortal teritory and gasped. "Y-you didnt leave it on Apex, did you...? Oh god, Keya's daughter of her and Srox did a hostile takeover and the whole planet is a zombie nightmare because she used a zombie virus against her enemies, even if they were on her turf. And out of all the planets that have died through the virus, Apex 122 is off limits, only Kat ever made it out with some of our tech for her fleet."
The two would enter ship the ship and this is where Jessie got a whole lot of information about what to do. "Okay, here's what's going to happen for now. You're going to pick out some clothes from my residence room and put those on after you get out of the shower. There's food for you in the kitchen if you're hungry. Then come to me and ill take care of you if you got any wounds, and cut your hair if you want..." She embraced Jessie shortly after finishing. "Im so glad to finally have you back..." |

| The story of how Sylvia had to take her own arm, just to survive, made her heart sink. It was a terrifying image in her head, and she couldn't even begin to think what it was like. maybe if she was there, she could of got Sylvia through, or pry the door open. However, she wasn't, and now Sylvia was stuck with some robotic arm, that attempted to be human but failed on every surface.
Her mood didn't brighten up much either, especially not after the Helix Virus story. The Virus wasn't the thing that saddened her though, news of the take over and the virus spread like wildfire throughout the galaxy, so she was no stranger to what happened. Yet the fact that only Kat survived, brought a great deal of guilt to her gut. When she had heard of everything, and how there was very few survivors, she hopped that maybe some of the team survived. But the fact that not even Tower escaped made her want to cry. Because, for however much Tower was annoying mess with jokes that made her want to end him, he was still a lovable and fun team mate. But he was gone, along with everyone else. Now she only had her wife, something she never thought she would get back.
While walking up to the gunship, Jessie held Sylvia's hand tightly, not wanting to let go. Not after so long. Jessie didn't want anymore time to herself, three years of that had only caused her demons to come out. Jessie only wanted to be wife her wife, even if chaos was to rein around them, if Sylvia was by her side, Jessie would be happy. Upon entering the ship, Jessie kept rather quiet, listening to Sylvia's instructions, not once objecting to any of it. When Sylvia finally embraced her, Jessie held her there for a few short moments, just resting her head on her shoulder. "Me too..." She whispered softly.
Shortly afterwards, Jessie, left Sylvia's side and, made her way around the ship, carefully wandering around, looking for the washroom. Thankfully it didn't take long for her to find it. Entering it, she found the feeling place alien, not because it was probably built by an alien race, but because it wasn't something she was use too, after three years of a nomad life style, modern commodities felt weird to her. Nevertheless, she found herself unchanged and in the shower within mere moments. The feeling of hot water streaming down her body and washing off all of the grime and dirt was a welcomed feeling, something she could relax too.
Once out the shower, she wrapped herself in a towel, drying herself off. Then with a smaller towel she dried off her hair, until it was all fuzzy and soft, rather than dripping with water. After talking one look, in a near by mirror, she found this long hair style didn't suit her one bit, it made her look fair older, and very feminine, something she didn't want. Quickly finding a pair of scissors, she hacked at her hair until she was satisfied with it's length.
With her hair fixed and her body finally clean, she made her way to residence room, as Sylvia described it. However, she did see a rather comforting sight on her way there. A particular red head elf, was leaning up against the wall, reading something of some strange description. Walking past the oblivious elf, she spoke the phrase. "What's up Red?" Before making her way down to the door. Even if Keya didn't answer back, Jessie knew she had a smile on her lips.
About one full hour later, Jessie had made her way back up to Sylvia, now in rather casual clothes of a red shirt and jeans, with a pair of black running shoes. When she got back, she was causally eating a few cashew nuts, nothing big, just something to fill her up. But with the short sleeved shirt on, it revealed her hands weren't the only thing scarred. Long grizzly scars ran up her arms, and under her shirt, a few probably rested on her back. It wasn't very clear what Jessie had been doing for the past few years, but whatever it was, it hadn't ended well. "Sylvia... Could you?" Jessie asked motioning to the scars, wanting Sylvia to heal them, or at least make them fade a bit, with an ashamed feeling for herself hanging around her. |

| Keya was reading some sort of fashion magazine that was apparently from earth. She heard Jessie and casted a smile her way before flipping the page again. While wandering the plane Jessie would see some familiar faces at least, some of these were soldiers that served the immortals that lived here now with the former rulers and high ranking officers but without having to serve them, it was interesting to see former soldiers live in a respect based relation with their rulers. But that didnt mean that the former rulers would be so easily forgotten. Towards Sylvia's room there were a bunch of pictures hung on the wall, pictures of the heroes that died on Apex-122 during the spread of the zombie virus and Ayil's reign. Their causes of death were listed below their portraits. Interestingly it said that Tower was assassinated by a rival politician, even if the immortals was ruled totalitarean.
Sylvia was doing her alchemy as usual when Jessie came in, she was focused and didnt noticed her until she spoke to her. She then turned around and wanted to smile but seemingly cringed when she saw Jessie's scars. "Jessie! What have you been doing? Come here!" She rushed her way to Jessie and lifted her shirt to tend to the scars. She smeared some sort of thick seeming paste over them causing an intense sting when it was wiped over the scars followed by an intense pressing sensation on them, as if there were weights placed on them. She wrapped her arms around her waist and laid her head on the shoulder that didnt have the paste on it. "Im happy but surprised you even survived these... These should have killed you." She kissed her cheek and then wandered away.
She could later on be found lounging in some sort living room with some of the other people that lived on the ship. Keya wasnt even hiding the arm she had around Sylvia that was snaking to her chest. There were some other interesting persons too like a mermoron flopping on the ground like a fish on land and some woman that despite being inside wore a hood with brown hair sticking fromunder it. |

| Chuckling under her breath, as the sudden sharp sting hit her scars, she looked down at the green paste covering her, saying. "Well you know me, I'm not easily killable." Before Sylvia left her. Once she was left alone, she felt weak again, stumbling over to the nearest chair, she let out a heavy breath as the sensation of ten tonnes on her back, came over her. She couldn't quite tell why such a feeling had fallen on her, but she thought it was probably a mixture of the wound treatment and actually seeing everyone again. The combination of the two gave quite a heavy release, yet carried an immense amount of weight as well. She wasn't her normal self, she knew that and Sylvia did too, most likely. Which was fine at first, but she worried if she would ever be her normal self again.
Later that day, Jessie came stumbling up to the door of the living room, her scars still there but they seemed to of faded drastically. Now the scars seemed more like red tattoos of intricate spirals going up and down her arms. Resting a shoulder on the door frame she looked at everyone there, greeting them all with a small smile, at first. Her eyes soon travelled across the fish lady, who was for some reason in a giant fish bowl, the quiet assassin looking girl, all the way up to Keya and Sylvia. The sight quickly brushed the smile off her face, and caused a sight spark of anger to flare up in her stomach. She should of shouted or said something, she should of told Keya to move and get off her wife. But she didn't. Instead, she bottled that rage and averted her gaze quickly. She didn't have much of a right to talk at this moment. After all, she was the one who deserted them for seemingly no reason. In all fairness, Jessie should of just been glad Sylvia picked her up and saved her. In Jessie's mind, that was far more than she could ever deserve.
"Ekhm!..." Jessie coughed rather loudly, making sure her presence was known, shortly afterwards her eyes dotted for a topic, something, anything that could break the awkward feeling she had. "So who's fish sticks over there?" Jessie said quickly, and rather clumsily, as she pointed to the huge fishbowl in the room, that held the fish lady. |

| She gave her a kiss on the lips before she left to the lounge. With Keya snaking her arm towards her chest she seemed annoyed with it, after all showing that she was loyal to Jessie after all. As soon as Jessie wandered into the room, Keya stood up and left while angrily looking at Jessie as she walked out. Sylvia looked at her when she angrily left and seemed to ignore it when she smiled at Jessie. She invited her to come sit next to her and put her arm around her with a relieved look on her face. She was so happy to have her lover back again. "That? That's Vicyeth Pettalocks. She's a healer but she is uhm... *stupid...* She's nice but if you scare her she will start ree-ing..."
She layed her head down on Jessie's shoulder and wrapped her arms around her to pull her into an embrace. "So much has happened while you were gone. Keya mostly took care of me and maintained my robot parts for me, most of the oil gauges are on my back and they're hard to reach for me... I had to have more things replaced than just my arm. My escape pod crashed and Keya saved me back there... So dont worry, im fine now..." |

| Resting on the door frame, Jessie watched Keya stand up and leave. The sudden expression of anger surprised her, as well as left a cold feeling in her stomach. She knew Keya was angry at her, her sudden change of mood when she saw her, gave it away, but left her feeling worried. When Keya passed, Jessie kept her head down and avoided eye contact. Once she had passed, Jessie took a moment to look out behind her, just to watch Keya leave. Once she was out of sight, Jessie let go of her breath, and faced back to Sylvia. It was nice to see she still had some feeling for her.
Sitting down next to her elvish wife, she appeared out of place, and tense, as if she thought this was all one big dream, tormenting her of a life she wouldn't get. Lost in her thoughts, momentarily, she was brought back to reality by Sylvia's embrace. The embrace frightened her slightly, causing her to jump in her seat, yet she quickly found herself relaxed, with her arm wrapped around Sylvia's waist.
Listening in quietly, Jessie noted everything down in her mind. She listened in carefully about the new girl, and Sylvia's new "features", which would of drained all the blood from her cheeks, if she didn't have Sylvia net to her all healthy and working. The thought of the accident was something Jessie thought she'd only see in her nightmares, yet here it was, a nightmare lingering in history. However, that's all it was, a nightmare lingering in the past. It couldn't hurt Sylvia, or the two of them, for now they were safe.
"I'm glad you're safe." Jessie whispered softly, kissing Sylvia's forehead softly. Jessie then wanted to tell Sylvia about everything that happened to her. She wanted to tell her wife about the wonders and nightmares she had seen, about the torments she had to fight through, about how lonely her nights had been and about how close she had nearly been pushed to the edge. Yet, she couldn't bring herself to it. For the first time in a very very long time, Jessie felt happy, and she wasn't going to ruin that. |

| Sylvia happily sat down on Jessie's lap and cutely giggled. Shortly after that a man who presumably was one of the ship's residents attached some tubes to both sides of Vicyeth's fish tank and attached them to some sort of pipe system before filling it up. In much the same way a koi carp or goldfish would she immediatly began mindlessly swimming around.
Next to her tank there was a bunch of equipment. A weapon rack held a regular mop that was dubbed "the mighty, magical, military mop of major power", possibly something Sylvia gave her to make her happy along with some armor pieces to keep her from killing herself.
It was surprisingly cold inside the ship and Sylvia's warmth was a nice addition. Though, with her this close, Jessie could come across some more marks on her; though this time not not a price tag but a seal in some sort of odd, foreign elven language. |

| Jessie watched the man fill up the fish girl's tank with water. Seeing Vicyeth was some type of water creature, she didn't bother about her drowning, hell the water was probably the only thing keeping her alive. However, Jessie didn't linger on her for too long, instead she took her gaze back to Sylvia, who had made her way onto Jessie's lap. Wrapping one arm around her shoulder, Jessie let her eyes travel over Sylvia's body. Her eyes almost locked onto her new tattoos instantly. Intrigued by them, she attempted to read it, tracing her fingers over the tattoos. It took Jessie a while, but eventually she realised, she had no clue in hell what the tattoos said.
"Sylvia... What do these mean?" Jessie asked, pulling her head up so their eyes could meet. Jessie found it strange, she didn't understand if they where placed there by cruel means, or if Sylvia had just had her old tattoos done with and decided to cover them up. If anything, she could tell the tattoos where elvish, they just had that look about them, and after spending a few years with Sylvia, Jessie had came to learn a few elvish words, and even came to recognise the writing, but these just seemed alien to her.
Holding Sylvia closer to her, Jessie didn't speak much louder than a whisper. Her voice still seemed to fail her, even now, but the fact that she was trying to get back to normal was crystal clear. Yet the obvious thing was, Jessie wasn't herself, a part of her seemed to be missing. Her old confidence and hot headed nature seemed to have been stripped away from her, over the past few years, almost turning her into another person. |

| Sylvia layed her head on Jessie's shoulder and closed her eyes, resting on the woman she had to miss for years. She looked up at her with sleepy eyes and smiled until she was given the question. It was elvish but not of her species, perhaps that was the reason Jessie couldnt understand it. It was renegade elven language that was forcefully tattooed onto her back when she was captured. She sighed and gave her a kiss. "While you were gone... It means high priority prisoner... While you left i have searched for you, everywhere... I was afraid you may have been caught by the renegades so like a dumbass i surrendered myself to them to find you. I was their prisoner for years and i couldnt escape for the longest time, i had to go through what i showed you in the archives for 2 years until i had a chance to escape... And that's where i lost my arm..." |

| Jessie didn't say a word, she just held Sylvia closer to her heart. She couldn't bare to hear such things, it broke her heart and made her feel horrid, knowing she was the cause of it all. She began to question why she ever came back, she only caused pain to Sylvia. Jessie didn't deserve any of this, she was lower than the dirt on her boots, even a rat was worth more than her putrid little soul. She hadn't realised until now, but she was crying. Tears slowly fell down her cheeks, as she hugged Sylvia hiding her head in her hair. Softly whispering "Sorry" over and over again. She didn't want to leave Sylvia, she never wanted that, she only left because she thought if bounty hunters came after her they wouldn't go for Sylvia, but now she realised running only hurt the woman she loved so much more. Jessie should of done it in the forest, she should of let those cultists kill her, she should of just died when she had the chance, it would of got rid of so many problems. But sitting her now she couldn't change anything that had happened, and she felt responsible for every bit of it. She held Sylvie close silently making a promise to both of them. "I promise on every creature and god, I'll never let anything bad happen to you again. And I'll slaughter anyone who does cause you harm." She repeated this over and over in her mind, holding Sylvia close. |
