Strengths
-Armor piercing. The edges of the dagger have been coated in both Cykx plexiglass and plasma strips, allowing it to pierce heavy armor at point blank range.
-Deflect. Due to the already hardened blade and it's plasma coated edges the blade is capable of deflecting gunfire if the user has gotten this training.
Weaknesses
-Range. With it being a meelee weapon it can only be used in close range as only the biggest idiot would throw it due to it's rarity.
-Maintenance. The knife needs to be maintained very well or the blade will go dull or broken otherwise.
-Battery powered. The knife's edges need to be kept powered by a powerfull battery placed in the hilt. The battery can last quite long but when it runs out it will no longer be able to deflect energy weapons.
Description
The deepflame samurai have been known throughout the ages for their ability to deflect bullets and arrows and the like. Depending on what knife they used they could also deflect explosives and the like. Recently a new version was created that could deflect it all but the main drawback was that it was battery powered and had to be watched closely as to not run out of power in the middle of battle.
