With her being enslaved for over 200 years and only using her healing spells when her owners werent looking to keep herself alive her skills with arcane have gotten seriously rusty, and however begrudgingly she realized she needed some serious help getting her skills back. And despite all the magic hatred in the north she still decided to put up an ad on people who could try to help her get her skills back. It mentioned she specifically wanted to learn restoration and healing spells.

While she had the ad up she saw no harm in searching for it by herself anyway. She wandered into a small bar wich seemed to hold alot of mages, most of wich looked at her funny as a knight would be an uncommon sight in a bar like this. Upon letting her helmet go off the people went back to their own bussines as the face of an elf was more common here and prompted most of them to think she was an elven mage. Sitting down by the bar she asked the barman. "So...Could you point me to someone who could teach me to remember some of my magic spells? it's been a long time and i need some education..."

Elias groaned out loud as he downed another pint bitter, watered down beer. He grumbled something to himself about how a high commander of the Nypherians shouldn't have let himself get lost and nearly stranded on an alien world all over again. Then again, that was the breaks for pulling the bag over your robotic bodyguards and searching for new magic the old fashioned way. Except Elias hadn't found anything and none of the mages at the bar didn't have anywhere near above average talent, or at least the ones Elias had seen the surprisingly well decorated and maintained bar. Everything appeared to be well polished and made out of expensive materials despite the location and alcohol appearing to be dirt cheap. Then again, beer just might not have been the location's specialty. 

Faint words drifted from a few feet away. A girl searching for a magic tutor. Elias immediately jumped on the opportunity and slid over to the girl's seat.

"I can teach you a thing or two," Elias said while leaning against the bar on one elbow. "Provided you've got a ride off this mud ball."

She saw the man smoothly slide onto a seat next to herself, she almost found it kind of funny. But then again, in her mental state alot of things were very funny. She snickered to herself before answering and after that snicker it should already be obvious she was a little bit loopy. "Yes...I have a tiny gunship, nothing personal but there's enough space for the two of us..." She stood up from her seat and adjusted her dress like cloak that covered the behind and side of her lower body. She wandered out of the bar waiting every few seconds for Elias as she made her way to the gunship. Eventually reaching the gunship, she waited for Elias to see it. It was definetly civilian grade and only had two very primitive machine guns. "So, what you think?....Where are we off to?"

If Elias was being perfectly honest, the gunship looked like a dump heap, but he also wasn't in a position to complain. Getting off a mudball with limited space travel had turned out to be nearly impossible, and no wizard seemed to have interest in constructing a spelljammer, much less the knowledge to do so, which also made a nearly talentless little girl Elias' only bet to get back to Nypherian space and an absolutely killer Nitro Shower.

"The Gunship is good enough, though it's kinda hard to learn magic in space." Elias pointed towards a field just beyond the confines of the town. "A big open space is usually better for that. That way accidents are more likely to only kill you. Though you could get lucky and make off with only losing an arm, I hear prosthetics are pretty sweet anyways." The wizard began wandering off towards the field. "Now tell me," He said as the girl caught up, "What's your name and what kind of magic are you interested in?"

By the time she had reached the field, she had sheather her blade and put her shield on her back. Also she had folded her helmet down wich revealed her elven features again. For a minute she though upon hearing the question as she tried to remember wich kinds of spells she used before ending up in chains. "Uhm....Primarily healing. Though if you could help me with all the magic schools i used to have i'd also like some help with relearning chaos magic and nature and root magic. But i really want to get the healing magic down first as i used to be what humans would call a priestess..." She wandered to the middle of the field, far away from Elias and raised her hand wich showed a very faint glow, indicating that she still had the affinity for it. "So...with healing magic, is it also as dangerous?"

Elias mulled over the subjects for a moment before responding. His expertise sat largely in ritual and evocation magic, the traditional and broad subjects of Earth wizards, clearly not the magics this elf's culture preferred, but he wasn't about to say he knew nothing of the subjects.

"I see," Elias said as the two arrived at a grassy meadow roughly the size of a football field. By some miracle, the grass remained short while poppy and lavender flowers dotted throughout. What appeared to be an Earth Oak tree sat in the middle of the meadow on top of a hill, perfect for practicing magic. "I've never hear the term 'root magic' before, and you may want to clarify chaos magic as the earth types like to channel rage for that. It's mostly inciting terror and fear into groups of people and making them go insane, or just outright destruction. Easy to learn, but it kinda messes with your sanity." 

Elias sat down and began pulling a number of random knickknacks out of his satchel. Common herbs and vegetables, a utility knife, and an assortment of candy bars were among the most abundant of items within, and all were easily purchased at most convenience stores sitting throughout the galaxy. 

"Also," Elias started as he finished organizing the contents of his bag. "If you do still remember something, could you show me? It'll be a lot easier to see what level you're at before starting."

Evelyn wasnt sure why she was surprised Elias wasnt acqainted with chaos and root magic. He looked like neither a druid or a chaos witch. People adept at either of these magic skills usually dressed to look the part. And Elias wore neither a flower crown or ragged hats or robes. She proceeded to show him some of the magics she wanted to get better at. "Root magic is better known as nature's blessing to my people...It allows one to create and control thick roots from the ground." Her arms became enveloped in a bright green glow and extremely thick, spiky roots emerged from an area she pointed at. At another place she pointed at thinner vines emerged. "It has allowed our healers to defend themselves by constricting and strangling hostiles with these powers. But it'sso much more powerfull than this, normally it involves charming animals and bending nature to one's wims."


The roots died off pretty soon and then she switched to the so called chaos magic. Her hands became enveloped withing dark black clouds and within the clouds a bright red glowing was visible. "URk....ChAos mAgic feEdS diRecTly Of The SanIty of THe UseR...People moRe Adept cAn avoId ThE AfflIctions iT InFlictS. It IS ExtRemeLy poWerFull aNd Is uSed iN ComBat..." She began casting spells around her. They appeared to be bolts of pure darkness that digged themselves into the ground. The bolts seemed almost liquid and alive as they traveled through the air.

Though the girl had given Elias a very showy display, it wasn't very powerful. Not nearly strong enough to seriously injure anyone in the vicinity, much less the nature around the pair. Though that wasn't to say the girl didn't have something of a gift for magic. It was enough for Elias to work with.

"That was flashy," Elias said, "But not very focused. Surely you remember the whole basis of casting powerful magic is to focus the energies at your command as sharply as possible so that it might produce the precise effect you desire." The wizard outstretched one fist and a seemingly unyielding stream of invisible magic energy began flowing down his arm, collecting into a tightly concentrated pool within his fist. Elias exhaled slightly and unclenched his fist, releasing a small burst of silver fire which quickly coalesced into the word 'focus' in English cursive. "Magic like that would have burned clean through your roots and no amount of your pure chaos would have been able to stop it. Quantity does not matter in the magical world, It's about quality." The silver flames dispersed as Elias waited for the first lesson to sink in.

"Now," Elias said after a fair moment had passed, "Which magic would you like to start with?"

She 'extinguishes' the colorfull glowing around her arms, as the dark clouds diminished her speech became 'normar' again. "It would be an affront to my people if i learned dark arts before the more honourable druidic powers. So for now i would like to learn to control the forces of nature better..." She walked a little closer to Elias and looked at him, paying close attantion to whatever he would say. Perhaps she could learn to bend nature powerfully from Elias even if he didnt look like a druid.

"Yeah, I'm not liking that chaos magic either," Elias replied as he waited for the girl to appear comfortable before continuing. Whipping out a notebook from his back pocket, Elias began scribbling down a few lines of mystical gibberish before placing it down and collecting a handful of the greener herbs with especially long roots. The wizard tugged a simple dirt circle in the dirt and placed the herbs inside. Double checking his equations, Elias muttered a few words and the roots began squirming around, eventually shaping themselves into what appeared to be miniature humanoids formed entirely of roots. A grin flittered across Elias' face as he released his concentration. The root person collapsed into a pile.

"Well this is fun," He said, "Can your root magic make stuff grow?"

"I need to get the chaos magic under control though ifi ever went to be as powerfull as i used to be..." She got the green ish light around her armored arm again, surprising it even got through and attempted to cast a spell on the remains of Elias' plants. "It should be, i remember a trick from long ago. Watch this..." She charged the light up in her hand it began to glow brighter. She then shouted something in her native tongue and out of the gronud came a well sized treant body. It lived and looked around but soon died again as her magic wasnt strong enough yet to keep it alive.
