He set to work tracking down the ship that his parents had piloted. It took him two years to track it down, and he had to sell the now deceased pirates' ship. Which he had no qualms about. Unfortunately, the ship was in intense disrepair, so he settled on the planet, and made a living by bounty hunting in an effort to repair and rearm the ship. Now, fully operational, the aging yet still effective ship is Revereth's personal transport around the galaxy.
