Technology:Occupied by the UEG, defended by the UNSC. The planet is a very "normal" Earth-like planet devoid of conflict. Numerous cities exist across multiple continents and countries. Like Earth, each country has its towns, cities, suburbs and rural areas. The cities and suburbs in particular have been accelerated by modern advanced technology developed by humans. Every disease has a cure, transport is 100% fuel-efficient and information technology is sophisticated enough to encompass every single job. Poverty is non-existent.
Each continent has its own UNSC Army bases varying in size. The planet is orbited by a network of 20 geosynchronous Orbital Defense Platforms. The planet is also defended by a fleet of UNSC Navy Warships.
History:Discovered and colonised in the earliest days of FTL travel, Chorus II was one of the few human colonies that remained untouched by the Covenant during the Human-Covenant war. A few years after the war however, a rogue splinter of Rha Mantakree's Covenant faction invaded the wealthiest city on the planet in pursuit of a mysterious artifact. Scorpio forces were also leading an attack for the same reason and the UNSC were fighting on the offensive. Namely, Spartan Aaron-157 and Fireteam Aqua along with Kitty Youngblood participated in the city's defense. The Covenant and Scorpio forces were successfully repelled but not before the artifact's inadvertent destruction which triggered the collapse of the walls between dimensional realms. The planet has since recovered from the minor attack and peace is almost absolute.
Description:The planet has ~70 countries, most of which are bordered on the same landmasses. The planet is very Earth-like in appearance with one moon. The planet supports very faint rings which some theorise may have been a very small moon that floated too close to the planet and was ripped apart by tidal forces. The resultant debris became the rings. The planet is known for its beauty in terms of architecture, namely within the cities where the buildings are said to be some of the most beautifully made in all of human colonised space. As a result, the planet is a huge tourist destination and every countries economy receives a large amount of income through tourism.
The planet is governed by the United Earth Government.
